The work of elderly caregivers from the perspective of the care economy
The characteristics and work challenges of elderly caregivers are still little studied in Brazil. This article aims to explore the perceptions of elderly caregivers about their work from the perspective of the care economy. Through qualitative research, ten interviews were conducted with caregivers who offer their services to the elderly population in the person’s home. The interviews were conducted based on a semi-structured script and analyzed through content analysis. The study proposes four categories related to characteristics and challenges of this work: a) the job is presented to caregivers as a need to complement income; b) the job is a source of physical and mental suffering; c) caregivers criticize the commodification of care; and d) it points out difficulties in adjusting relationships of intimacy, affective involvement, and work compensation. The results allow exploring the subjectivity of this work and point out interventions to train workers, offering better conditions to caregivers.

Inorganic salts in the postharvest control of Penicillium digitatum (Pers.) Sacc. in orange
The objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of treating oranges with potassium chloride (KCl), potassium hydroxide (KOH) and potassium silicate (K2O3Si) for green mold caused by Penicillium digitatum. The experimental design was completely randomized with five treatments and four replications, each with twenty fruits. For the experiment, the fruits were washed, superficially disinfected and pierced with a needle (2–3 mm deep). After 24 hours, the fruits were treated with inorganic salts or distilled water (control) and, 2 hours later, inoculated with 15 μL of P. digitatum spore suspension. Green mold incidence, rate of lesion expansion, lesion size and sporulation area were evaluated at 96, 120 and 245 ha. At 245 hours after inoculation (hai), the KOH and K2O3Si (50 g.L-1) treatments were the most effective, affecting all evaluated variables and reducing the disease incidence by 80% and 36%, respectively, compared to the control. However, the KOH treatment caused wrinkling and dehydrated the peel, affecting the visual quality of the fruits. In conclusion, among the tested inorganic salts, the K2O3Si treatment (50 g.L-1) reduced the green mold in the citrus without negatively effecting fruit appearance, which indicates that this treatment is an option as a complementary measure to manage the disease.

Detection and identification of medically important microorganisms isolated from pigeon excreta collected in a university in a newly industrialized country
Exposure to animal feces contaminated with pathogenic microorganisms poses a risk to human health. The presence of fungi and yeasts in environments is related to adverse effects on respiratory health. An objective approach to mitigating possible health effects due to exposure to fungi and yeasts in closed environments is difficult due to the lack of guidelines. The aim of this work was, to identify and characterize microorganisms of medical importance isolated from pigeon feces collected on roof tiles of a university building and also to evaluate the hygienic-sanitary conditions of the study area. Excrement sampling points were established, and the microorganisms were identified by standard biochemical and microbiological methods followed by MALDI-TOF proteomics for identification at the species level. Microbial identification revealed the presence of medically important microorganisms in the samples analyzed, namely the fungi Candida krusei, Candida rugosa, Aspergillus spp., Cryptococcus neoformans and Trichosporon asahii and bacterium Klebsiela pneumoniae. The results obtained demonstrated the need for the development of methods that help mitigate risks to human health due to exposure to pathogenic agents in environments such as that studied.

Academic production of brazilian Physical Education about fair play and racism in sports: state of the arte of dissertations and thesis
Fair Play (FP) refers to morally good attitudes in sports and disapproves racism. In Brazil, sports started to develop after abolishing the slavery, so that racism accompanied sports history. The aim of this study was mapping and analyzing the academic production of Brazilian Physical Education about FP and racism in sports. For this purpose, literature review of dissertations and thesis were performed in main graduate programs of Brazilian Physical Education. 32 dissertations and 103 thesis were found. Of these, five dissertations and ten thesis were considered relevant and analyzed because few works directly relate FP and racism. Soccer was the most discussed topic, especially about fans violence. FP importance in scholar Physical Education to combat racism was also related in many of these dissertations and thesis.

Agrarian Brazil: Conservatism and Right on the Ruralist Bench
A conservative wave has appeared with more force in the Brazilian political scene. The representatives of the Ruralist Bench enter the political-partisan sphere and consolidate themselves in the national scenario. These political actors are among the most voted in the most conservative post-85 congress and have great decision-making power in the House of Representatives. We conclude that the Bank presents an internal cohesion capable of succeeding in any agenda that interests it by exposing a new right that fills the void representing other political parties not so internally aligned.

Social workers to beyond of social work?
This paper discuss the uso of the denomination “social workers” to mean the workers at social assistance, to beyond those who were concluded the course of Social Work. The text shows that the fragility of structure of social work, as a profession, in Brazil and in other international experiences, does that activity a occupation without defined boundaries. Thereby, there is a use by different social agents, in labour market, of the nomenclature “social workers”. The paper demonstrate, using data from Censo 2010 that, from the Occupational Brazilian Classification (CBO) is possible identify “social workers” with the most different profiles, as techniques as with high education, all of them using the same occupational reference.

The altruism and the search for meaning in the motivation of students
This research seeks an alternative to improve the motivation of students to learn science according to two motivational models, little explored in the scope of teaching, especially in Brazil. The first model considers three levels of motivation: extrinsic, intrinsic and transcendent. The second model is the person in four dimensions. Both models presented positive results in the business context, were tested in some educational institutions and have, in common, two central features: the search for meaning and altruism. The data of this research were collected, mainly, through two questionnaires, applied to a group of 102 students from three Engineering areas of a public college. The analyzes of the results give indications that the search for meaning and altruism, central features of the two motivational models, were considered relevant by the students, who studied the discipline of Physics.
The good teacher of Physical Education in the view of academics of licentiate
The objective of this research was to identify the perception of the undergraduate students in Physical Education about the elements that make up the pedagogical practice of the good teacher in the classroom. The methodology has a descriptive design and is characterized by the use of the qualitative approach, presenting as subjects of research a group of eighteen undergraduate students in Physical Education of the Superior School of Physical Education of the Federal University of Pelotas. We used content analysis and chose to split the results into two categories. The first, called "Professional knowledge and contexts of action", was built with the intention of exploring the teaching knowledge related to the profession and its professional performance. The second is related to the "Characteristics of the good teacher and the necessary skills for teaching", seeking to describe the characteristics of this good teacher and bringing the elements related to teaching practices within the context of the classroom.

Phenology of three tree species in an area of semideciduous vegetation in northern Piauí, Brazil
Phenology helps explain the dynamics of forest ecosystems and is important for ecological and evolutionary studies of the tropics. Thus, it is necessary to know the frequency of vegetative and reproductive events to understand the intricate dynamics of ecosystems. Between May 2015 and April 2016, for fifteen days of each month, observations were made in an area of semideciduous vegetation in northern Piauí State where Copaifera langsdorffii Desf., Lecythis lurida (Miers) S.A.Mori and Swartzia flaemingii Raddi grow. Leaf fall occurred during the dry season (peak in September), followed by budding at the beginning of the rainy season (peak in April and May). Copaifera langsdorffii and L. lurida flowered from the end of the rainy season to the beginning of the dry season, while S. flaemingii flowered in the rainy season. Copaifera langsdorffii fruited in the dry season, L. lurida fruited from the end of the rainy season to the beginning of the dry season, and S. flaemingii fruited from the end of the rainy season to further into the dry season (compared to L. lurida). The data from this study will contribute to the development of management strategies for the species.

Behavior of Nannopterum brasilianus (Gmelin, 1789) (Suliformes: Phalacrocoracidae) in an urban park in the municipality of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais State
The modification of landscapes by anthropic action, mainly due to urbanization, exerts strong pressure on birds. Public parks and other green areas offer favorable conditions for birds in cities throughout the year. Nannopterum brasilianus (Gmelin, 1789), the Neotropic cormorant, is one of the most frequent and abundant piscivorous water birds in urban parks, rivers and reserves. The present study aimed to describe the behavioral repertoire of N. brasilianus and evaluated possible behavioral changes in the dry and rainy seasons, in an urban area in Uberlândia (MG). The study was conducted in Sabiá Municipal Park, from December 2013 to November 2014, totaling 184 hours of observation. The fixed-point sampling method was used, in four ponds in the park. Observations were made in the morning, using the focal animal and ad libitum (record of all occurrences) techniques. In all, 164 records of the species were obtained. The behavioral repertoire included 15 behavioral acts, notably perching and preening. Some behaviors varied between the seasons (χ² = 62.05, df = 14, p <0.001), including flock flight and perching on the pond bank, which were displayed more in the rainy season.
