The development of tests for cognitive assessment of deaf students has allowed a better understanding of reading, writing, vocabulary and sign language (LIBRAS). These assessment tools are usually developed for pen and paper application. The objective of the present study was to investigate the feasibility of a computer administered test battery (BALES) for assessment of reading, writing skills and sign language familiarity through: correlation between the tests, comparison of the scores between grades and pen and pencil application. The subjects were 44 deaf students of the 1st and 2 nd grade of the cycle II, of the three Basic School from the Great São Paulo. The computer based version of BALES with 11 tests was administered: The Word Reading Test (WRT); the Sentence Reading Test (SRT1.1); the Choice Picture Naming Test (CPNT 1.1); the Written Picture Naming Test (WPNT 1.1); the Choice Picture Naming Test (CPNT 2.1); the Written Picture Naming Test (WPNT 2.1); the Written Word Choice Libra Naming Test (WWCLNT 1.1); the Written Libra Naming Test (WLNT 1.1); the choice Libra Naming Test (CLNT 2.1); The Written Libra Naming Test (WLNT 1.1); the Choice Libra Naming Test (CLNT 2.1); the Written Libra Naming Test (WLNT 2.1); the Libra Vocabulary Test (LVT 1.1). The results showed a high correlation for 10 tests but one (LVT) with low correlation. The comparison of subjects scores with the school grade factor showed no significant difference between the two compared grades in computer application, which was coherent with in the pen and paper application results. Additionally, the means of right responses in each test f the battery were similar to those found in the pen and paper application. Results proved the possibility of BALES-on line battery, as a useful assessment tool for reading, writing and sign language (LIBRA) evaluation.
This dissertation presents the research on the convergence of media in German high school classes at Humboldt College (São Paulo city). It was verified how this convergence provokes the expansion of the school and the concept of expanded school was applied to this practice. The research was qualitative with the use of an action research, developed through the interaction between the teacher and researcher with the students of high school groups in the classroom, for two years, with different pedagogical practices at different times.Initially, the activities focused in the traditional proposal of the production of printed reading diaries, an later, it gones to re-signification of the reading using digital media and new technologies to study language and culture in classes of German literature. The research and the analysis of qualitative character are anchored theoretically in the thought of Claudia Hardagh, Ángel L. Pérez Gómez. Lucia Santaella, Pierre Levy e André Lemos, with regard to the different technologies, the convergence of these in the expanded school proposal.
There are few manufacturing industries whose products covers such wide ranges in sizes, weight and complexity as the foundry industry. Smaller castings can be as small as a grain of rice and weight a fraction of gram, while the largest can reach hundreds of tons and be as big as a house. There is a wide range of metal casting processes, characterized mainly by the allow type and its pouring process and also by the mold type and its associated manufacturing process. In the particular case of molds, there are molds produced using sand bonded by chemical processes, or better, bonded by synthetic resin, which can be different in type and specific chemical composition. The resins developed for the automotive market has led to major changes in the manufacturing method of foundry molds. The polymerization of these resins and a subsequent curing are used to connect to the foundry sand in a rigid structure capable of receiving and holding liquid metal. Therefore, it is of fundamental importance to know the process of polymerization of these resins and their impact on the final properties of the obtained molds, especially in the mechanical characteristics. With respect to the sand-resin mixture (sand prepared), important factors are: the range of bench life time (gel time) which must be long enough to enable the manufacture of the mold, and cure speed should be fast enough to permit rapid rotation of the casting tooling and hence greater productivity. The bench life time interval is the maximum time (gel time) than the sand-resin mixture can be handled before starting the vitrification reaction of the resin (crosslinking chains), the extraction time is the time required for mold achieve an adequate minimum hardness to handling. The mixed sand life time is the maximum interval which the mixed sand can be handling before the polymerization of the resin used as bonding takes place. The hardening rate is the interval needed for the mold becomes hard enough to be handled. In this work was studied yhe influence of the addition of zinc chloride (in solution) in the sandfuran resin mixture, with the aim of reducing the relation between the extraction time intervals and time bench life. The results showed that addition of percentages of the order of 5.0% to 7.5% zinc chloride reduces this ratio between 10% and 17%; this means that the casting model may be extracted from the sand mass in a smaller time interval increasing the productivity of manufacturing molds. It was also observed that there was also an increase of about 9% to 18% in bench life intervals.

O ético-moral em Santo Agostinho
The dissertation researches the ethical-moral in St. Augustine and how he develops his theory from the themes that challenged him. We begin our journey by the very proposal that moves the bishop of Hippo, that is, the attempt to understand the problem of evil in a metaphysical-ontological perspective: "What is the origin of evil?" Or "why are we evil?" A long and arduous journey that will culminate in the ethicalmoral issue, or moral evil. We start from the life of this thinker trying to show his cultural, academic, familiar and religious formation and that influenced him in this way. The biographical part is a presupposition to construct its passages by the philosophy, Manichaeism and Christianity. He reads Cicero and feels impelled to seek Wisdom and Truth, approaches Manichaeism by answering the metaphysicalontological problem of evil, breaks with the Manichaeans, and constructs a new interpretation for the problem of ontological evil with ethical-moral implications with the support and influence of the Neoplatonic philosophy and the theologians of Milan. From then on, the whole construction is to show that man needs to live well, but for this he must have a life based on the right divine order. All that God created is good, but evil, the sin of the first man who transgressed the right divine order, broke with the hierarchy of this right divine order. In this way, the Beatitude of man can only be found in God and for this he must be healed of sin by divine grace. Only when this happens that man can live according to the hierarchy of the right divine order, even though he still lives within a temporal world, he passes on to understand and practice love as the foundation of his ethical-moral. This love is not simply to love anyway, but it is to love according to what God Himself has established. There is a hierarchy established by the divine and the ethical-moral living of man must be governed by this principle. Love is the foundation of ethical-moral in Augustine.
Discussing nautical sports calls to mind images of beauty, action and freedom. Marines are able to associate those images with urban development, a set of urban equipment which brings out a great amount of economical, social and touristic benefits to the region where it is implanted. Brazil, a country with tropical weather and more than 8500 km of coast line, does not rely on correspondent nautical structures to the enormous potential that it presents. This work tries to articulate reflections that lead to this reality. This research aims at identifying the main multidisciplinary knowledge about national maritime and the structures of nautical support, the conditions needed to its implantation and its varied possible interferences. It also investigates the available resources, the environment team, the legislation, the civil society performance, the NGOs, the District Attorney, the insecurity of licensed agents, as well as assessing the consequences of those interferences when planning is being developed, having the implantation of a shore structure designed to nautical support in view Marine. This is a qualitative and quantitative research concerning data collection. As to the means, it is bibliographical, exploratory, descriptive, historical and dialectic. One can observe the presence of the studied items in the Saco da Ribeira reurbanization case study, which focus the Golden Port Marine implantation. The achieved objectives allow the urbanist, through the science of possible obstacles, to find ways to overcome them, as a greater number of Marines become adopted as vectors of sustainable urban development.

Organizational performance is the result of constant analysis for organizations and their managers to evaluate the level of performance that can be translated into the creation of shareholder value and Steakholders, within the government, the performance can be explained in relation to the services offered as effective management, cost savings and benefits to the customer / user / citizen. The analysis of the performance of institutions in the public scope is essential condition for the decision making as well as endogenous and exogenous in the formulation and implementation of effective public policies. The nonparametric model of data envelopment analysis ( DEA ) can effectively translate this positioning within the context of technical efficiency , scale and allocative to identify efficient and inefficient production units. This article seeks to contribute to the discussion of efficiency of Units Foundation Hemominas in Minas Gerais making a classification efficiency using data envelopment analysis. We also tried to verify the degree of parity between operational efficiency and financial efficiency. For the analysis of operational efficiency through the approach of data envelopment analysis used as inputs the total volume of blood collected , number of employees and the expense inputs , outputs and full use of blood products produced , full of blood discarded and total clinical services performed. For financial efficiency, the inputs used were the total expenditure less personnel expenses, personnel expenses divided by the number of employees, the products use the revenue collected and expenditure budget executed. The results demonstrate a relationship with weak statistical significance between operational efficiency and financial efficiency. One Hopes that the results serve as a substrate for analysis and discussion by the managers of the units investigated and Hemominas Foundation regarding the use, allocation and efficient disposition of the treasury in order to save lives and serve customers / users / citizens who need specialized services and blood products.
