Empreendimentos hidrelétricos e transformações socioespaciais : a construção dos AHE Corumbá III e IV e os efeitos sobre o produtor rural diretamente atingido do município de Luziânia-GO
This research reflects a study of grand hydropower plants in the county of Luziania, Goias state, where are found two of them in Corumba river: the stations III e IV. The research aims discuss the cause effects from these infrastructures on the territory, and seek to comprehend the social spatial changing occurred by those ones. Through the large range effects caused by these hydropower plants, we decided focus on the rural producer changing directly affected, which means, those who had their properties affected partially or totally by the dam. Therefore, it was approached three geographical concepts about one of the most Territory theory discussed in Brazil: territorialização, desterritorialização e reterritorialização. They conceive different perspectives about how the rural producers overlapped, moved out and (re)overlapped the affected lands, respectively, making possible the comprehension of the physical space and social organization changed by the effects. As a methodological procedure, initially were raised data s and discussed a relevant literature review for the research, beyond the historic process evolution about the hydroelectric sector in the country. Afterwards, were described with emphasis in the changing caused by the stations in the county of Luziânia, which supported the grand plants discourse concepts in Brazil, valid to other researches and projects as well. The effects caused to the rural producers are, mostly, results that run beyond the population interests. Therefore, in name of the improvement and economic development of the country, these populations have suffered several negative aspects, that appear on their territory and everyday life.

A logística reversa de resíduos sólidos em Ituiutaba: do diagnóstico à elaboração de um modelo pró-ativo
This work presents a case study, containing the diagnosis of reverse logistics of the solid wastes existing in Ituiutaba (MG). It includes the main residues, who are the biggest collectors and buyers and which is the way taken by the residues. It still presents, a pro-active model for its environmental management. Model this, that induces the capacity to think, to project and to foresee a better future for the society of what is lived deeply today in the city. The qualitative analysis of the domiciliary residues disclosed the presence of 70% in weight of decaing organic substance. Five aspects are identified: costs of Iandfill maintenance , non senses, technique imperfections, administrative problems and lack of equipment in the current model of reverse logistics. There is a new perspective for the city of Ituiutaba (MG) to give a leap in order to improve its efficiency in environmental management. The way for the efficiency of the management of the residues is demonstrated, which must have as main precursor the municipal public power. So that the model can have effectiveness it will have to count on the support of the population, which will have to be informed of the new the proposal of reverse logistics for the urban residues. In relation to the compost produced from the humid residues, it can be evidenced that its composition presents good potential of use for production of varied plants and vegetables for presenting a good constitution of macro and micron nutrients. In relation to the balance of mass in the pro-active model there is a perspective of a shunting line of the residues from the landfills much bigger than nowadays. That is, the ambient reintegration of the residues makes a leap from current 19% to 82,8% in the proactive model of reverse logistics. This way it is possible to see a new age in the management of the solid residues for the city of Ituiutaba supported in reverse logistics. With the adoption of the pro-active model the municipal landfill will have to be used less for the covering and compacting of the recycleable residues and unwanted matter and more for the composting of the perishable organic residues. This way it is possible to prolong the useful life of the landfill, from 24 years to 99 years, with drastic reduction in the leachate generation. Soon, the study of the reverse logistics of the residues is a contribution to subsidize the city hall in the management of the solid residues, also serving, to increase the conscience of the population on the necessity of its participation in the discarding process and reusage of solid residues.

With the construction of two hydroelectric power plants in the lower level of Araguari river Capim Branco I and Capim Branco II , we had the opportunity to study the fauna of Ae. (Och.) scapularis in those areas, before and after the environmental alterations provoked by the construction. The study was carried out from May 2003 to April 2005, at the same time in the two areas. In the area of construction of the barrage of Capim Branco I the environmental alterations began in May 2004, while in Capim Branco II they occurred in March 2005. Four fixed points were chosen for capture of the insects being two in the area of construction of the barrage of Capim Branco I (one to the edge of Araguari river and the other 184m further up on a higher topographical position) and two in Capim Branco II (one to the edge of Araguari river and the other 584m up on a higher topographical position). This work has for objective the study of the fauna of Ae. (Och.) scapularis being taken into consideration the physiographical characteristics of the areas. There have been a total of 96 field collections being 64 of 3:00 hours each and 32 of 12:00 hours each. Shannon traps were used and in the captures of 12:00 hours with three CDC-type traps being used. However these last ones were not well succeeded. An ecological profile for each area was elaborated in order to study and describe their environment. A total of 61 samples of Ae. (Och.) scapularis were captured in the two areas. In the first stage 90.57% of the insects were captured in the area of construction of the barrage of Capim Branco II and 9.43% in the area of Capim Branco I. During the second stage 87.50% were captured in the area of construction of the barrage of Capim Branco I and 12.50% in the area of Capim Branco II. With the obtained data it was observed that the area of construction of the barrage of Capim Branco II is more favorable to the fauna of Ae. (Och.) scapularis than Capim Branco I. The environmental alterations provoked by the construction of the barrages of Capim Branco I and Capim Branco II were related to the suppression of vegetation, the great circulation of vehicles and machinery, intense noise, dust and workers' presence in the work place. We consider that there was no alteration in the fauna of Ae. (Och.) scapularis during the research before and during the environmental alteration, in the area of construction of the barrage of Capim Branco I. In what regards the area of construction of the barrage of Capim Branco II we are not able to reach to a conclusion once the research was held during only two months period of the construction of the barrage.

Adequação do plano diretor ao estatuto da cidade : uma proposta em discussão
In the same way, as the cities, the Urban Planning is dynamic, therefore it must follow the constant changes in urban space, considering and adjusting itself to new urban realities. Several important moments in Urban Planning History in Brazil demonstrate methodology changes to take care of the new cities reality. Here, two moments are distinguished: the first one, with the arrival of 1988 Constitution, and the other, with the approval of the City Statute . The second chapter of the Constitution nominates the Managing Plan as the basic instrument of the development politics and urban expansion. Many Managing Plans were elaborated after the Constitution, however several foreseen urban politics in the Constitution needed regulation through a federal law. In January 2001, the wanted Federal Law was regulated, it was the arrival of City Statute, that added new values to the Urban Planning, mainly to the Territorial Planning, and determined that all cities rethink the vision of the cities and the function of the Managing Plan. The cities with more than twenty thousand inhabitants have until October 2006 to fulfill this requirement and to adjust its Managing Plans to the principles of the City Statute. This study objective is to contribute with a proposal of adequacy of the Managing Plans to the City Statute, following recommendations demanded by City Statute and considering as base, the analysis of some carried through experiences. The methodology used was a bibliographical revision and analysis of Managing Plans that already had been adjusted. Beyond this analysis, was defined as a case study, Tupaciguara MG city, that possesses a Managing Plan that was not implemented and that must be adjusted to the City Statute. A joint work between public power and civil society will be important to succeed at adequacy process. The community participation constitutes as the great challenge from the change. Only through the vision of community, the cities will reach the goals to place in practice the principles of the City Statute.

Avaliação do processo evolutivo e da dinâmica erosiva: um estudo de caso no município de Ipameri-GO
The municipal district of Ipameri has his economy based in agricultural activities that it unchained a series of erosive processes. This study had as objective a bibliographical revision about the fundamental aspects of the erosive process and the factors that condition his development. For demonstration of her evolution monitoring techniques were used, with the intention of relating rain data, characteristics of the soil and vegetable covering. It was selected a ramification that presented great activity, for determination of her evolution in a period of two years. It was installed inside the gully a drain for monitoring of the flow and collection of transported sediment The collected material was analyzed in the Laboratório de Geomorfologia e Erosão de Solos -UFU, to obtain information on the granulometry. It was possible to quantify the evolution of the borders of the gully and to identify the responsible mechanisms. The: regression, erosion goes fall of water, therefore that the superficial drainage i the main factor goes the development of these process. The analysis granulometry of the material determined that the transport dynamics vary in agreement with the pluviometric index that alters the volume of the flow that consequently increase his/her transport capacity. The material collected in the walls of the gully presented a plasticity index between 6 and 15% indicating that it is an area that presents measured resistance the erosion interns, what determines that the main responsible factor for the erosive dynamics is the drainage superficial. The evolution of the gully has as cause the effects of natural factors as the characteristics of the soil, because it is treated of a soil that can be divided in three layers being to superior a loamier layer, second composed by pebbles of originated quartz of the own rock and a third that it is the altered rock, in that way the explanation can come for the mass movements, since the third layer is sandier is therefore crumblier, another factor is the topography that contributed to the formation of the superficial drainage and the characteristics of the rains. The erosion of the soil manifest as the biggest problem for the people who make the use of the land.
