THE CINEMA AS A LEISURE EXPERIENCE AND THE FEMALE CHARACTERS OF THE FILM "PARA MINHA AMADA MORTA": UNDERSTANDING VALUES, UNDERSTANDING MEANINGS
This article aims to discuss and analyze how women are represented in the Brazilian fiction feature “Para minha amada morta”, and to identify possibilities of empowerment for the female characters. This film was launched in 2016. The methodology of this qualitative research included bibliographical research, interviews and analysis of the graphic layout of the fundamental elements of visual communication and design in some scenes of the film. The female characters are portrayed in an antagonistic way, reinforcing a traditional model of conduct established by patriarchy. Although the cinematographic narrative is constituted by several aspects that could favor the emancipation of the women, these possibilities are stopped to the detriment of an exclusively masculine perspective.

THE ATHLETIC BEAUTY ON THE BIG SCREEN [1895-1936]
Our contribution is to present a brief study of the ways in athletic beauty was treated on the big screen from the beginnings to 1936. For this, our study will be based from concepts proposed by Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht at work In Praise of Athletic Beauty (2006). We chose to compose the corpus of analysis a number of documentary movies that have as their theme the Olympic Games in the modern era to 1936.

GILLES PRONOVOST AND THE FUTUR OF SOCIOLOGY OF LEISURE: INTERVIEW
The text brings an interview with Gilles Pronovost, made through emails about his main themes: leisure, social times, work, family and culture. In order to understand the meaning of Gilles Pronovost in the sociology of leisure, it is enough to remember that for Joffre Dumazedier, the most suitable country for a Brazilian researcher to start in the study of leisure was not France, his country, nor the United States, where he said he had remade his old academic formation in Letters, becoming sociologist, working with Lazarsfeld and Riesman, but the Quebec. He said that in this Canadian province, francophone but with strong ties with the surrounding anglophone community, leisure studies have the singularity of seeking a synthesis between European "humanism" and anglosaxon "pragmatism" and did not hesitate to highlight the protagonism of Gilles Pronovost, for his studies and the creation and direction of the Laboratory of Social Times of the University of Québecà-Trois-Rivières and the bilingual magazine Loisir $ Société / Leisure $ Society. After Dumazedier's death, he joined Geoffrey Godbye in the USA, Robert Stebins in Canada, Chris Rojek in the United Kingdom, Lallive d'Pierpinay in Switzerland, Roger Sue and Jean Viard in France, in the gallery of leading leisure sociologists nowadays.

INCORPORATING VALUES: THE IDLENESS BEYOND THE COMMON SENSE
The test proposed here, of a theoretical-reflexive approach, aims to enable a broader view on the concept of idleness. Historically, diverse conceptions have been elaborated about this understanding, generating innumerable contradictions with respect to its meaning and value. At present, although it resurfaces as a matter of limited understanding, idleness has represented a subject of extreme importance and vitality. The proposal of revaluation of idleness and the construction of a theoretical reference on its real meaning have provided the acquisition of a vast knowledge about the human person and clarifying innumerable experiences and positions as a defense of the same. Based on the assumption that there is no consensus about the concept of idleness because it is a complex and vast theme that brings us to many possibilities, we will seek to delimit its meaning from the perspective of humanistic idleness.

SPORT MEGA EVENTS: BEYOND THE ECONOMIC ANALYSIS
The main objective of this article is to discuss and analyse the research conducted since the 1980s regarding the possible impacts of sports mega events. As a rule, studies of these phenomena have been focused on economic aspects and tangible urban transformations. These analyses, however, do not take into account important social aspects related to the local population, especially those in fragile socioeconomic situation. Gradually, we observe a substantial increase in qualitative and interdisciplinary analyses in the context of sporting events, which has led to a broad discussion about the real impacts of these manifestations, be they positive or negative. A broader understanding of these effects – both in the short and long term – is paramount in constructing a critical view of the consequences engendered in hosting a global event. In addition, it is necessary to take into account regional and local elements since impacts vary greatly depending on where it is organized.

MEGA-EVENTS AND SOCIO-SPATIAL DYNAMICS IN RIO DE JANEIRO, 1919-2016
This article examines the ways in which discourses of urban development and socio-spatial discipline are wrapped around infrastructure development projects associated with recent, future, and proposed international mega-events in Rio de Janeiro. In the past few years the city and state governments of Rio de Janeiro invested billions of dollars in sporting, tourist, transportation and security infrastructures for the 2007 Pan American Games and hundreds of millions of dollars preparing for the 2014 World Cup and bidding (twice) for the 2016 Olympics. By looking at the historical trajec¬tory of mega-events in Rio de Janeiro, I argue that there has been a discernable shift in the ideologies that drive the production of mega-events in the city. These logics have discursively and materially shifted from more localized expressions of notions of social inclusion and industrial democracy in the mid-20th century to reflect the socio-spatial exigencies of capital in a period of accelerated globalization. I suggest that mega-events impose a neo-liberal “shock doctrine”, installing temporary regimes of extra-legal governance that permanently transform socio-space in Rio de Janeiro.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE TRANSFORMATIONS OF LEISURE SPACES RESULTING FROM SPORTS MEGA EVENTS AND THE HUMANIZATION OF CITIES
The text proposal is to diagnose the transformations of the host cities of the South region in order to identify the changes that have occurred in the spaces and leisure and sports equipment. The spaces studied were the surroundings of the headquarters stadiums of Curitiba and Porto Alegre. We interviewed 55 guests from the delimited spaces and two managers. The main changes that took place in the leisure spaces around the host stadiums were the renovation of the Afonso Botelho square in Curitiba and the improvements that took place in the Marinha do Brasil park in Porto Alegre. However, it was noticed that the biggest concern was with the spectacle of the Soccer World Cup, trying to showcase a showcase of host cities. Games can be a pretext to improve the cities. However, legacies need to be well designed to maximize the quality and benefits for cities. But in the case of the cities studied, many of the projects were being planned and restructured as the Football World Cup approached.

FULL-TIME SCHOOLS AND THEIR ROLE IN LEISURE EDUCATION
The National Education Plan (PNE) determines that by the year 2024, at least 50% of Brazilian schools must work full time. In order to meet the requirements of said plan, the number of so-called Full Time Schools (FTS) has grown. A FTS, when well planned, can contribute to leisure education, since, by extending the journey, it offers more time and space for initiation in the various cultural contents of leisure with the students. Thus, the objective of the present study was to discuss the relationship between the TSIs and the leisure, more specifically between the TSE and Leisure Education.

HUMAN CONSIDERATIONS OF THE LEISURE SPACES-TIMES
The entrance to the gaze of space from the field of leisure and recreation gives some peculiarities that do not contain other spaces - times in the daily life of the subjects. The spaces of leisure, are possible by the existence of the subject in them; it is men and women who in their different moments of their lives give a meaning, a place and a content to those spaces. A critical look at leisure spaces, is made from three categories, political, conceptual and methodological, having as transversal axis to humans and posing some criteria that can contribute to broaden the look into space.

PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION METHODOLOGIES FOR LEISURE FACILITIES
Available Brazilian literature related to the stages of design and construction of facilities for sport activities, physical education, leisure and recreation, seldom mention the planning phase preceeding these stages. As a consequence, a great amount of such faciities existing in our country only partially, and often precariously, attain their functional expectations. The obvious reason for this is the abscence of methodical and rational planning based on guidelines of proven efficiency, such as those adopted in developed countries. The diffusion and disseminaion of this area of knowledge, as well as the concepts presented here, give the opportunity for professionals involved in the process and conception of facilities designed for the above-stated objectives, to be conscious of the importance of multidisciplinary interaction in the planning, design and construction processes of functional and sustainable facilities of the kind.

LEISURE FACILITIES AS STAGES FOR EXPERIENCES AND FREE-TIME ACTIVITIES
The analysis and discussions about leisure and the city as well as urban leisure facilities have become deeper and more numerous. If the city is the great stage for social leisure experiences, stresses the importance of the leisure facilities. Based on the categories of perception by Jun Okamoto, and places and non-places by Marc Augé, this text proposes some technical orientations for planning and designing the leisure facilities in Brazil.

THE STRUCTURAL IMPOSSIBILITY OF THE ‘CREATIVE IDLENESS’ UNDER THE FLEXIBLE CAPITAL ACCUMULATION: CRITICAL STUDY OF DOMENICO DE MASI’S WORK
The present essay has a theoretical-bibliographical character, where it is visited and reviewed part of the work of the Italian sociologist Domenico De Masi. His concept of creative idleness allies three activities in the same time: work, education and leisure. The author considers that the creative idleness will be the dominant form of daily living for those who will be successful in the post-industrial societies, which have as center the production of services, with focus on creativity, emotionalism and it is sought a new education, for the spare time, instead of being in a hegemonic way for work. To this idea arise diverse critical questions, that makes us realize that society might not be yet living this new form of work proposed by the Italian author. Would it be possible to live the creative idleness facing the current changes in the world of work that make it more and more flexible, precarious and uncertain? The new forms of work show that the number of unemployed people is increasing, generating, thus, the susceptibility for kinds of flexible, stressful work, with precarious conditions. Considering this reality of the flexible capital accumulation’s world of work, the creative idleness of De Masi becomes structurally an unattainable promise. Here is the central axis of this essay.

THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF SOCIAL SPORTS AND LEISURE AGENTS: INITIAL CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT THE PELC TRAINING PROCESS IN JARDIM LAVINIA SPORTS CENTER, IN SÃO BERNARDO DO CAMPO
The City Sports and Leisure Program (PELC) is a public policy for the promotion of leisure and recreational sports, promoted by the Federal Government, in action of the Ministry of Sports in partnership with the States, Municipalities and / or Entities of the Private Initiative. In this sense, we understand that a program to promote leisure and recreational sports, by including as its axis of action, the continuous training of its agents, presenting a proposal for intervention in the area, deserves to be the subject of study and reflection. Thus, the general objective of this article is to investigate and reflect on the process of continuous training of social agents of sports and leisure linked to the Program, as an instrument for professional training of social agents of leisure and recreational sports, verifying possible implications in the work Developed in the communities, in particular, the work developed at the Jardim Lavínia Sports Center, in the city of São Bernardo do Campo. As a methodology, the article was developed through a combination of bibliographical, documentary and empirical research, based on content analysis Of legal documents on the PELC, or through participant observation. As main results we understand that the process of professional training of social agents of leisure and recreational sports presented by the PELC in Jardim Lavínia Sports Center used a methodology of work with the objective of transforming society, starting from the principle of the valorization of the local culture and seeking the expansion of the Same, without denying the previous one. The concern to train citizens who can consciously and critically enjoy their moments of leisure, appropriating the different possible contents, was the proposal that when entering a Sports Center, such as that located on the outskirts of a large city in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, is able to present social transformations, albeit simple, but capable of re-signifying the use of a public space, making it more democratic and accessible to all.
