Falls in elderly: perceptual aspects of fall risk and fear of falling
Aging is a natural and progressive process marked by musculoskeletal, cognitive and perceptual changes that can lead the elderly to present episodes of falls. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the number of falls, the perception of the risk of falls and the fear of falling in the elderly, of both sexes, aged 60 years or over. The study has a cross-sectional design and was composed of 106 elderly people (69.64 ± 8.94 years). The perception of falls was assessed using the Falls Risk Awareness Questionnaire (FRAQ) and the fear of falling using the Falls Efficacy Scale - International (FES-I). It can be concluded that the smaller the number of drugs consumed, the number of falls and the fear of falling, the greater the perception of the risk of falls for the elderly. In addition, it was also possible to observe that the greater the consumption of medications, the greater the fear of falling for the elderly.

It intends to make contributions to the study of human aging, especially from the hygienist point of view, which understands the health of older adults as a dynamic and complex concept in the context of the Brazilian Unified Health System.

Functional capacity in special populations before and after passive kinesiotherapy and stretching
Objective: To analyze the functional capacity before and after a treatment with passive kinesiotherapy and stretching in special populations. Method: Exploratory, retrospective case study with a quantitative data approach. The research sample consisted of men in the age group between 60 and 76 years of age, sedentary, with coronary diseases and associated comorbidities. We analyzed the evaluation and revaluation sheets made with Senior Fitness Test between July and August 2017. The statistics were performed using the SISVAR software. Results: The most frequent associated comorbidities were: dyslipidemia and Systemic Arterial Hypertension. In the T1 test, there was an increase in the number of repetitions in the sit and stand movements in the participants 3, 7 and 10. In T2 there was an improvement in the movement of forearm flexion in participants 7 and 8. In T3 participants 3, 9, and 10 presented an improvement in the flexibility of LLLs. T4 found that participants 3 and 7 were better at speed, agility, and dynamic balance. The T5 confirmed that only the participant 8 presented significant results regarding the flexibility of the MMSS. At T6 and T7, there was no significant difference between patient and time for aerobic endurance and BMI respectively after treatment. Conclusion: The results of Senior Fitness Test in special populations seem to be a tool capable of analyzing individually the needs of each participant of a protocol with cardiac rehabilitation in a safe and practical way, however a more significant sample is necessary.

Some linguistic notes to contemporary legal discourse with a view to an ethics of care and protection for the elderly
The purpose of this paper is to present some linguistic notes to contemporary legal discourse, in the sense of rationalizing or adapting this discourse in favor of the elderly person, often already in a condition of fragility or dependence, requiring that the forensic documentation may gain more effectiveness, speed, care and safety, with a view to an ethics of care and long-term protection. The methodological procedure for approaching the theme adopted here is deductive-argumentative reasoning, through which one will start from the idea of the frailty of the elderly person, which requires a “change of course” regarding the speed of the actions, so that the elderly involved can, even within the final few years of your life, enjoy the successful results of forensic causes.
