FULL-TIME SCHOOLS AND THEIR ROLE IN LEISURE EDUCATION

The National Education Plan (PNE) determines that by the year 2024, at least 50% of Brazilian schools must work full time. In order to meet the requirements of said plan, the number of so-called Full Time Schools (FTS) has grown. A FTS, when well planned, can contribute to leisure education, since, by extending the journey, it offers more time and space for initiation in the various cultural contents of leisure with the students. Thus, the objective of the present study was to discuss the relationship between the TSIs and the leisure, more specifically between the TSE and Leisure Education.

HUMAN CONSIDERATIONS OF THE LEISURE SPACES-TIMES

The entrance to the gaze of space from the field of leisure and recreation gives some peculiarities that do not contain other spaces - times in the daily life of the subjects. The spaces of leisure, are possible by the existence of the subject in them; it is men and women who in their different moments of their lives give a meaning, a place and a content to those spaces. A critical look at leisure spaces, is made from three categories, political, conceptual and methodological, having as transversal axis to humans and posing some criteria that can contribute to broaden the look into space.

PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION METHODOLOGIES FOR LEISURE FACILITIES

Available Brazilian literature related to the stages of design and construction of facilities for sport activities, physical education, leisure and recreation, seldom mention the planning phase preceeding these stages. As a consequence, a great amount of such faciities existing in our country only partially, and often precariously, attain their functional expectations. The obvious reason for this is the abscence of methodical and rational planning based on guidelines of proven efficiency, such as those adopted in developed countries. The diffusion and disseminaion of this area of knowledge, as well as the concepts presented here, give the opportunity for professionals involved in the process and conception of facilities designed for the above-stated objectives, to be conscious of the importance of multidisciplinary interaction in the planning, design and construction processes of functional and sustainable facilities of the kind.

THE STRUCTURAL IMPOSSIBILITY OF THE ‘CREATIVE IDLENESS’ UNDER THE FLEXIBLE CAPITAL ACCUMULATION: CRITICAL STUDY OF DOMENICO DE MASI’S WORK

The present essay has a theoretical-bibliographical character, where it is visited and reviewed part of the work of the Italian sociologist Domenico De Masi. His concept of creative idleness allies three activities in the same time: work, education and leisure. The author considers that the creative idleness will be the dominant form of daily living for those who will be successful in the post-industrial societies, which have as center the production of services, with focus on creativity, emotionalism and it is sought a new education, for the spare time, instead of being in a hegemonic way for work. To this idea arise diverse critical questions, that makes us realize that society might not be yet living this new form of work proposed by the Italian author. Would it be possible to live the creative idleness facing the current changes in the world of work that make it more and more flexible, precarious and uncertain? The new forms of work show that the number of unemployed people is increasing, generating, thus, the susceptibility for kinds of flexible, stressful work, with precarious conditions. Considering this reality of the flexible capital accumulation’s world of work, the creative idleness of De Masi becomes structurally an unattainable promise. Here is the central axis of this essay.

THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF SOCIAL SPORTS AND LEISURE AGENTS: INITIAL CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT THE PELC TRAINING PROCESS IN JARDIM LAVINIA SPORTS CENTER, IN SÃO BERNARDO DO CAMPO

The City Sports and Leisure Program (PELC) is a public policy for the promotion of leisure and recreational sports, promoted by the Federal Government, in action of the Ministry of Sports in partnership with the States, Municipalities and / or Entities of the Private Initiative. In this sense, we understand that a program to promote leisure and recreational sports, by including as its axis of action, the continuous training of its agents, presenting a proposal for intervention in the area, deserves to be the subject of study and reflection. Thus, the general objective of this article is to investigate and reflect on the process of continuous training of social agents of sports and leisure linked to the Program, as an instrument for professional training of social agents of leisure and recreational sports, verifying possible implications in the work Developed in the communities, in particular, the work developed at the Jardim Lavínia Sports Center, in the city of São Bernardo do Campo. As a methodology, the article was developed through a combination of bibliographical, documentary and empirical research, based on content analysis Of legal documents on the PELC, or through participant observation. As main results we understand that the process of professional training of social agents of leisure and recreational sports presented by the PELC in Jardim Lavínia Sports Center used a methodology of work with the objective of transforming society, starting from the principle of the valorization of the local culture and seeking the expansion of the Same, without denying the previous one. The concern to train citizens who can consciously and critically enjoy their moments of leisure, appropriating the different possible contents, was the proposal that when entering a Sports Center, such as that located on the outskirts of a large city in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, is able to present social transformations, albeit simple, but capable of re-signifying the use of a public space, making it more democratic and accessible to all.

CONCEPTIONS OF LEISURE, TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL INTERVENTION IN GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAMS

This article aims to analyze the conceptions of leisure presented and discussed by scholars and researchers evidenced in the literature and, specifically, the formation and professional intervention of social agents that act in governmental programs, in a historical and sociological perspective, having as theoretical foundation the concepts of the sociologist German Norbert Elias, because we consider that the agents involved are personal and social experiences, which are the result of different social configurations and that the existing power relations in society influence the implementation, progress and results of public policy actions, such as Is the case of the government programs involved in the research. In this sense, we seek to answer the following questions: Who are the social agents that act in leisure programs proposed by the federal government, in what concerns their academic formation? At the present time, social agents intervene or act according to which conception of leisure: welfare, education, emancipation, criticism? (MARCELLINO, 2004, ISAYAMA, 2003, MELO, 2006). For that, we conducted interviews with the social agents who worked in two programs of the Federal Government of the city of Bauru-SP, which do not have training of personnel to work in the localities, emphasizing their initial and continued formation, as well as the professional intervention and intervention In public leisure policies, seeking an understanding of their conceptions about leisure concepts and the relationships between the reality observed in the research, idealized by the programs involved. From the collection of data and analysis, we find that the conception that the Social Agents have of leisure become common sense, insofar as they are not perceived as socio-cultural mediators acting in a public policy of leisure, besides not feeling Safe in working in places of this nature, in this sense, realize that such actions end up becoming assistentialists in the programs offered by the Government. Thus, we conclude that a formative process is needed based on studies of leisure with the individuals that make up the society and about the existing relations of power so that such actions can transform reality.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND LEISURE: ISSUES AND APPROACHES

In the construction of this study, I emphasize that the professional training process should be based on principles that reflect political, intellectual, scientific and socially in struggle and tension of the recognition of diversity and cultural difference so that the action results in critical interventions. The theme of vocational training is understood through ambiguities that promote impacts on leisure practices through effective action. Thus, this article problematizes the training dimensions of the professional that acts in the leisure to reflect on the capacities necessary for the qualified and potentially educational performance. For this, we analyzed the conceptions of leisure appropriated by ten professionals who work in the school counterturn. Appropriate conceptions of leisure indicate an instrumental character. Formative processes must move towards a rethinking of praxis, the construction of intervention processes that foster and promote political formation and participation. Vocational training must be sustained on an inseparable basis of theory and practice, ie technical, operational, political, intellectual and cultural training. Just as considering the life history of the professional is relevant in the perspective of the performance.

SPORTS ON THE FAR LAND: ACRE – 1909 A 1922

The objective of this work is to investigate the beginnings of the sports organization in the state of Acre, from 1909 to 1922. This period refers to the first news related to sports practices and their decline due to the rubber crisis. Acre, marked by many political and economic tensions, enters into a deep economic crisis regarding the export of rubber. This product at that time was the state's main economic activity. The process of sports organization begins to occur, albeit timidly, in the early decades of the twentieth century. At first, there is news of other Brazilian states and other countries that reveal the beginning of the movement, in that place, of ideas and vocabularies related to sports practices. The first signs of sports organizations were shooting, horse racing, cycling and walking. In 1915 the first soccer club of the region was inaugurated and later, around 1919, football won the sports and journalistic scene. Several football clubs are founded and spaces are modified for the performance of the sport.

VILLA NOVA FOOTBALL CLUB: LEISURE AND TRAINING OF A FOOTBALL WORKER CLUB (1908-1930)

This article reconstructs the first years of the Villa Nova Athletic Club, a team of workers origin officially created in the year 1908, until the early 1930's. The main objective is to analyze and problematize the initial formation of Villa Nova as a strategy of control of bodies of the workers of the Morro Velho Mine. This will allow us to know more about the phenomenon of creation of workers' clubs in Minas Gerais. To that end, the main sources were the Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro periodicals available in the Digital Library of the National Library, as well as the precious collection of the Linhares Collection, also available digitally. National politics and football as strategies for control of the workers' bodies were inseparable pillars in the initial construction of this new, pretentiously industrialized society, and the history of the early years of the Villa Nova Athletic Club could not be separated from this complex field. hegemonic disputes.

THE LEISURE IN ACTIONS OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH: EMPHASIS ON ACTIVE LEISURE

This work aims to understand how the leisure theme is treated in Brazilian public health policies. We have analyzed the content of documents and other available information on the Health Portal - the official website of the Ministry of Health. Based on the outcomes, it is possible to assert that the concept of "active leisure" is predominant. In the documents analyzed, the proposals on leisure time were mainly related to the incentive to practice physical activities, as a way to combat sedentarism among other strategies of control of chronic non-communicable diseases. This conception of leisure seems to contradictory in comparison to the National Health Promotion Policy and the Primary Care Policy. These both documents highlight the expanded notion of health promotion, in which leisure is conceived as a social right to be guaranteed by the State. Futhermore, these policies afirm the integrality of the human condition, which presents other fundamental demands for the production of health that extrapolate the accomplishment of bodily practices/physical activities and that can also be developed in the leisure time.

RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN LEISURE AND HEALTH IN SOMATIC CULTURE TIMES

In contemporary times, most of our daily actions have been thought, lived and decided under the parameter of what is more or less healthy, including leisure. Considering this context, inherent to somatic culture, we work with the idea that the limits between leisure and health are increasingly tenuous so that as obligatory as having fun is to have fun in a "healthy" way. We argue, introductory, that the imperative of healthy leisure acts both in physical body dimension - in which leisure activities and health care must be confused, keeping in tune with ideal healthy life and therefore happy - as in mental body dimension - in which entertainment must consist of numbness, distraction intended to thought denial.

SPORT AND SOCIAL STRUCTURE: LEISURE AND PUBLIC HEALTH IN THE LIGHT OF THE PRINCIPLE OF SEGMENTARITY

The present theoretical essay aims to investigate the mimetic structure of sports leisure, in its relationship with affective health. It evokes the principle of segmentarity, an absolutely nuclear category for anthropology, as a operator concept of the interpretation elaborated. The central argument suggests that sport organizes in more stable terms, processes of social segmentation that, in everyday life, are endowed with great uncertainty. In this sense, the ludic practice of sport offers a laboratory of emotional experimentation that contributes to the formation of subjectivities accustomed to interact with conflicts and differences; therefore, subjectivities resistant to the avoidance of otherness and, consequently, to fear and malaise that mark the forms of life based on identity standardization.
