ESTUDO DO COMPORTAMENTO E PERFIL DO CONSUMIDOR EM CONTEXTOS ESPECÍFICOS DE TURISMO: O TURISMO DE GOLFE NO NORTE DE PORTUGAL
Sports events are able to promote the sustainable development of a place and at the same time promote the country where they are held and these are also suitable to generate a large economic income (Huang, Lin, Chang and Chen, 2017). Golf is a major activity in the world and between 1985 and 2000 the number of players increased from 35 to 56 million, and the countries with the largest population and the greatest habit of practicing this sport were the ones that had the greatest growth (Correia e Martins, 2004). Portugal, due to its location and weather conditions, has become an important golf destination in Europe. There are now 82 golf courses spread all over the country, and in the Algarve is where the great majority of these fields are located (Portuguese Golf Federation, 2017). Golf in the north of Portugal is a complement to the tourist offer, but it is important to mentioning the diversity of golf courses in the region. There are mountain courses (Amarante and Ponte de Lima), fields built next to the beach (Miramar and Estela) and in thermal zones (Vidago field) (Ribeiro, 2006). The main objective of this dissertation was to understand the profile of the consumer of golf in the North of Portugal as well to know their behavior. For this, a conceptual model was elaborated that allowed to study a set of hypotheses that were tested based on the data collected through the questionnaire surveys applied in the North of Portugal. The questionnaires were applied in paper form in the club house of three golf courses of the region, obtaining a total of 119 valid answers. The results of the empirical analysis prove that the players in the North are mainly men of Portuguese nationality, adults between the ages of 35 and 44, holders of degree, employees and with relatively high salaries, between € 1000 and € 2500 and more than 4000 €. Regarding to consumer behavior, it was possible to verify that the destination image, quality and satisfaction have a strong impact on the post-purchase behavior of golf consumers in the Northern region of Portugal (return and recommend), and it was also possible to verify that players intend to return as well as recommend the destination.

DETERMINANTES DA CRIAÇÃO DE VALOR EM APLICAÇÕES MÓVEIS NA EXPERIÊNCIA TURÍSTICA: ESTUDO EXPLORATÓRIO NA PERSPETIVA DO TURISTA EM GUIMARÃES
With the possibility of accessing internet anywhere and anytime, the use of smartphones and other mobile devices to use mobile applications is increasing. Thus, this study focuses on the use of mobile applications in tourism context, and its importance for its development. This research seeks to understand the user's view of technologies, namely mobile applications in a tourism context, understanding which features and characteristics that the mobile user considers most relevant to be integrated into a mobile touristic application. It is also sought to understand the perceptions about the price in the use of an application and the difference of importance between the usefulness of the application and its ease of use. For this research was used a questionnaire survey applied in an hotel in the city of Guimarães, a reference for the tourism in the north of Portugal, located in the centre of the city, with a sample of 98 people, hosted in the same, in order to be considered tourists. Of the respondents, 94 reported using mobile devices in their travels, being the smartphone the most used and accessing social networks, taking photos and videos and using GPS the most accomplished tasks. The research has revealed that the price has an influence on the decision to buy a mobile travel application, and it is verified that users have a preference for free applications. Regarding the functionalities integrated in the mobile applications, the creation of itineraries proved to be the most important, verifying also the influence of the functionalities in the use of applications in a tourist context. The use in offline mode is the most valued feature, along with the use throughout the year and the availability of up-to-date information. Thus, the characteristics revealed to exert influence in the adoption of mobile applications in tourist context. Regarding utility and ease of use, it has been found that the most important factor is the usefulness of the application and not the ease of its use, demonstrating that tourists prefer to face difficulties, nevertheless, to obtain more useful information.

In the past recent years the territorial management as a brand using marketing tools till now used by companies has been gaining ground. In that sense, more and more the people in charge of the territories have been proceeding to the destination branding in order to gain notoriety and differentiate themselves from their competitors. Although this importance has been increasing there are still gaps in the literature related to this mater, given that, the goal of this study is to understand what’s the role of cultural events in the brand building, image and perceived quality of a destination, applied to the specific case of the event “Braga Romana” in the city of Braga. A qualitative and quantitative investigation was carried out in order to understand what is the vision of those in charge for the areas under study, tourism and events and the perception of the event visitors. UTILIZAÇÃO DE FERRAMENTAS DIGITAIS EM CONTEXTOS ESPECÍFICOS DE TURISMO: UM ESTUDO NA ÓTICA DAS PESSOAS PORTADORAS DE NECESSIDADES ESPECIAIS
Web pages are currently the new face of any Tourism organization. They represent the entrance door for new consumers. For this reason, there is a constant concern in creating accessible digital tools that could promote the institution, disclose its tourism offer and favor consumption. Thus, using digital tools in Tourism and, more concretely, in Tourism focused to people with special needs, is of great significance, in order to inform potential consumers of a tourism service accessible to all. The way the organizations make use of digital platforms, and more specifically hotels groups and management bodies, reveals that WCAG accessibility guiding lines are not followed, being still a long way to go before a universal accessible tourism can be effective. To do so, there might be a more rigorous compromise from the sector’s regulatory authorities. Although not complete, the present study strongly suggests how are neglected the questions linked to accessibility in eTourism, this area deserving deeper insights. Indeed, incorporating accessibility in Web would stimulate the attraction of new markets and projects of higher quality, in addition to favoring a social and gathering gain.

Tourism has an important role in Portuguese economy due to the country’s own worldwide potential. With the natural evolution of tourism sustainable tourism was originated in whose concept ecotourism emerges. This is a type of tourism with a growing importance and one of the fastest growths among the new types of tourism. Ecotourism is based on the fundamental principles of sustainable tourism. It is a sustainable development tool which promotes long-term social, environmental and economic benefits. This type of tourism also allows the development of certain regions as, for example, the ones suffering from desertification, which would not develop otherwise, emphasising as always, the preservation of nature and cultural traditions of the local population and its interaction with the project and promoting environmental education. The relevance of natural heritage in Portugal is reinforced by the classification of Natural World Heritage sites by UNESCO. Thus, the present exploratory research has as main goal to understand the determiners in the process of the consumer decision in ecotourism contexts, as well as to verify the growing importance of ecotourism. The results show an evident growth in this segment, based on the conduction of 197 surveys in the form of questionnaire (online). The attained data lead to the conclusion that the destination image plays a fundamental part in terms of experience and the tourist’s own satisfaction, having the need to improve the degree of affectivity towards the hotel unit, as a consequence of the destination image and that has influence on satisfaction. In this analysis, a proposed conceptual model was tested and the correlation among the variables of the same model was evaluated, in order to establish causal relationships among independent variables (e.g. involvement) and the behavioural intentions of ecotourism consumers in specific contexts. Natural heritage is vital for tourism, as it is for ecotourism, being as such necessary to protect this asset which is fundamental for this type of tourism. Focus is also placed on the necessity of having more legislation for ecotourism and fostering of support funds for the creation of projects within this field.

O TECIDO EMPRESARIAL DO TURISMO NA REGIÃO NORTE DE PORTUGAL: OS IMPACTOS DOS FUNDOS COMUNITÁRIOS EUROPEUS NO DESENVOLVIMENTO DO SETOR
Tourism is an industry with an undeniable relevance, by the influence it exerts on the development and creation of wealth in the regions. Tourist activity generates jobs, increases income and boosts the economic growth of the receivers countries (Lim, 1997). The community structural and cohesion funds are the financial instruments of the European Union's regional policy, which aim to reduce the differences between the regions of the Member States. During the period between 2007 and 2013 the program of the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) was implemented, which defines its guidelines for the national use of structural community funds and for the structuring of thematic operational program and regional. Within the framework of the NSRF, the system of incentive to innovation in the tourism sector was implemented, which aimed at the innovation of the business tissue. Given the importance of this theme, this research has as an object of study an analysis of the business tissue of the tourism sector. It aims to evaluate the economic and financial performance, the competitiveness and innovation of the entire business fabric of the tourism sector in the northern region of Portugal. A second objective is an empirical study of the impact of the incentive systems allocated in the field of NSRF to companies in the tourism sector based in the region under study. The methodology used was based on the collection of financial data relating to all active companies in the tourism sector of the northern region of Portugal, specifically 11 611 companies, during the period 2006 and 2016. The second face of the study addresses the public investment projects carried out in the tourism area in the period from 2007 to 2013 in the northern region of Portugal, comprising a total of 96 companies benefiting from the public incentive system to innovation, that integrate the thematic operational program – Competitiveness factors (COMPETE). In this sense, the study intends to assess the existence of a differential in the economic and financial analysis between the ex-ante and ex-post periods to the fund receipt. The data were collected from the Simplified Business Information (SBI), collected in the database of Iberian balance sheet analysis (SABI), a database where you can obtain official annual financial statements of Portuguese companies. From the analysis of the quantitative results we can conclude that companies generally lost competitiveness and innovation in the period under review. The results of the economic and financial indicators of the tourism sector companies based in the northern region of Portugal have decreased. With regard to the companies under study which benefited from projects approved by NSRF in the period between 2007 and 2013, we can conclude that their public investment in tourism has shown positive contributions to companies, fundamentally under the point of in view of the productivity, iv although financially it does not have any added value, these companies specifically present worse results in the financial indicators.
EXPERIÊNCIAS TURÍSTICAS EM CONTEXTOS RELIGIOSOS E DE PEREGRINAÇÃO. UMA ABORDAGEM NA ÓTICA DO CONSUMIDOR DOS CAMINHOS DE SANTIAGO
Pilgrimage tourism, of which the Camino de Santiago is also an example, has shown a growing interest in a tourism segmentation perspective, and is therefore included in tourism planning activities. Considering the economic effects of the existence of these pilgrimage routes, as well as the way in which these same routes are positioned next to the market, there is a growing importance and orientation for different experiential searches. However, the existing literature seems to reveal a gap in planning and management of tourism destinations in specific tourism contexts (eg religious tourism and pilgrimage). This study aims to understand the behavior of the consumer in the context of pilgrimage tourism, in the particular case of the Santiago Way. As such, the main objective of this master's thesis was to understand the profile of the consumers of the Santiago de Compostela roads, as well as to understand the behavior of this type of tourist. A conceptual model was developed to study a set of previously presented hypotheses that were tested based on the data collected through the questionnaires collected from the pilgrims from Santiago de Compostela. The purpose of this dissertation is to understand the role of certain affective bonds in the behavioral intentions of tourist consumers, in particular as regards the motivations that lead tourists to carry out the various routes of the Santiago Way. The understanding and analysis of the dimensions of the present study may be, in parallel with the conclusions obtained, a tool to support the management of pilgrimage routes.
O IMPACTO DO MARKETING RELACIONAL NA DECISÃO DE COMPRA DO CONSUMIDOR DAS AGÊNCIAS DE VIAGEM
The travel agency sector is going through one of the most challenging moments in its whole story. From the first trip through intermediation, in 1841 by Thomas Cook, the sector has been improving its strategies and policies, ensuring a proeminent place and an extreme importance in the tourism market. In its turn, tourism has achieved encouraging economic indicators worldwide which is due in part to the demographic and social changes. Despite these encouraging indicators in the sector, the evolution of the technology allows the quick and easy interaction between costumers and producers leading to a sensation of instability felt by the intermediaries never observed. The trend of disintermediation causes anxiety and uncertainty among travel agents, leading many to pursue strategies that enable them to maintain desirable levels of competitiveness by seeking new markets and different ways of approaching these markets. The intimate relationship with the customer is a strategy that many travel agents take as core in the creation and maintenance of customer's loyalty, being this a criterion defined as differentiator, that allows them to explore a human side that technology, by itself, does not fully cover, being the opportunity to demonstrate their experience and know how, generating a relational position with the client that allows them to provide a sense of security and reliability, making them a partner. Through the characterization of relational marketing, this study allows the understanding of its influence on the purchase decision of travel agencies customers, using a qualitative methodology, consisting in the review of literature, data collection through interviews with those responsible for companies in the sector and the gathering of a focus group with clients of travel agencies.
A Justiça é divina. O poder do jornalismo. Independência do poder económico. Independência do poder social. Independência do poder político. Independência do poder cultural. Independência do poder religioso. Somos intolerantes perante a intolerância. Humanismo. O objectivo é portanto prosseguir e aprofundar o trabalho do Volume I. Summary: "Justice, Science & Politics with Seasoning II," is the continuation of Volume I, also published in Editora Juruá in 2016 as a set of chronicles that we have carried out between 2014 and 2017. This is a critical written approach, always from the constructive point of view, of a series of problems. An approach in the media. Through the written press. Problems of Justice. Problems of Science. Policy issues. And all in a "tempered" way. It's a metaphor. In fact, all language is always a metaphor. Seasoning in the sense of harmony. Of spiritual condiments. Seasoning is also a remedy, a palliative, a cure. The Greek classics have already said that Justice is the highest human value: Aeschylus, Euripides ... Justice is divine. Athena is the goddess of Justice. But also of wisdom. But also of war. Acting, however, with calm, tranquility and consideration. It is logical that justice has connections with science. And these two issues with the Policy. Everything is intertwined. There are no absolute autonomies. And if the original powers are the executive power, the legislative power, the judiciary; It is also certain that economic power is a very concrete and practical power. The Constitution subordinates economic power to political power. Just as the power of media is very influential. The power of journalism. The power of journalism may be, or may not, however, be associated with other powers. The newspaper we write in is Portuguese. It is named "Diário do Minho" and is the largest daily newspaper of the Christian and Portuguese Catholic Church. It has a print run in paper and is present in the virtual network: http://www.diariodominho.com; Https://en.facebook.com/diariodominho. The chronicles are, however, independent chronicles. Independence of economic power. Independence of social power. Independence of political power. Independence of cultural power. Independence of religious power. If it is true that the point of view is a Christian point of view - assumed - it is no less certain that it is a point of view which respects all other points of view. Provided these points of view are tolerant. Fanaticism can also be "Christian" or "Islamic," etc. And all bigotry is intolerable. We are intolerant towards intolerance. War on war. It is the pursuit of the rule of law, social, democratic, free and true. The juridical aspects, the questions of Justice have, however, an influence in our writings. The legal aspects, the jurisprudential aspects, are fundamental aspects for us. Our central perspective is even this: Fundamental Rights, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedural Law, Criminology, Criminal Policy. Humanism. With special emphasis on economic crime, financial crime. And so also, the prevention of money laundering. Prevention of terrorism. The prevention of corruption in the broad sense. The aim is therefore to continue and deepen the work of Volume I.
The crime of insult, threat or the practice of an unlawful act against any worker, such as abuse of power, with the more or less concealed purpose of interposing, to the recipient of the message or to a third party, a disciplinary process and / or aiming to manipulate reasons for the dismissal, even becomes more serious, as regards the violation of Fundamental Rights, in case the target or targets are unionized. Imagine if any of them are eg trade union delegate or member of an elected national body.

Abstract: The Germanic and Teutonic roots of the crime of insolvency in the Portuguese legal system are fundamental to understanding the crime itself. It is from this assumption that we can discern the legal good. Without legal good it would not be possible to criminalize as we know. There is an option for the legal good that is the property of others. But there is also the chance to be the confidence in the market economy, trust in the credit economy. In view of all this, it is urgent to make it possible in law for companies to be able to commit insolvency. The aim is to better protect the legal assets in question.

ABSTRACT: Due to the unprecedented levels of people traveling around the world caused by environmental reasons and the challenges faced by international society in the search for effective protection of the human rights of this group of people, the study focuses on the theme of environmental refugees, categories of people who were forced to flee their homes as a result of climate change. The method used to perform the work was deductive. The technical procedures used in the research for data collection were bibliographic and doctrinal research. The urgent need for a specific treatment of the subject in order to seek recognition and legal protection of environmental refugees has been proposed, but in the meantime the application of the pro homine international principle is of fundamental importance in the face of which involve refugees and climate issues, phenomena that tend to increase considerably over the next few years.
