A Evolução do Défice Tarifário

Characteristics and human factors of senior drivers: improvement opportunities in the automotive interior design
This paper analyses the characteristics and the human factors of the senior drivers and how those can influence the driving experience. We analysed recent studies in ergonomics, iteration and influence of the technologies applied to design the physical interfaces and their respective board devices, with the aim of identifying improvement opportunities in enabling usability design onboard tasks. The research methodology is descriptive with the collection of baseline studies within the auto industry, ergonomics, health and senior mobility. We concluded that even the latest car models do not provide the highest levels of safety and comfort that could be achieved, opting some manufacturers to include extra resources to mitigate  the changes that result from aging. It is suggested to create a script of automotive interior design recommendations to improve the safety, the comfort and the inclusion of the senior drivers.

Interaction and tactile interface design: the specific case of design for deaf children
Touch screen devices are a reality that, although recent, has a considerable impact on today’s society. Digital technologies have become a means of facilitating and enhancing information and communication. As children are among its main enthusiasts and users, it is up to designers to interpret this change of paradigm and face the challenge of designing specifically for this group. It is considered that these devices become especially effective as a communication interface for children with some sort of difficulty. Several authors have conducted researched concerning interaction and interface design for children, but regarding deaf children the information is still scarce and disperse. Thus, this article presents a number of aspects to consider, relating to the design of interfaces and interaction, when designing applications for touchscreen devices (iPad), for deaf children. To highlight the principles underlying the project for that group of users, is taken as an example the application (app) in development "o rato do campo e o rato da cidade" although some other references may appear.

The importance of identity design(er) in the organizations
The article presented here, is a reflection on the role that the designer and communication can currently play in organizations. The importance of the designer, while value creation agent applied to the strategy and communication of organizations, it is not always taken into account, it is often regarded as a professional that only solves aesthetic problems and responds to some demanding challenges, punctual and isolated. Given all this, we intend to address in this article and reinforce concepts that cover the areas of design, communication and management considerations being made about the importance and relationship between these, identity, strategy and organizations. In order to make sense of all this, this study will support base a practical intervention on a research unit, INET-MD - Institute of Ethnomusicology - Centre for Studies in Music and Dance, aiming to observe, collect and analyze the institution in order to meet conditions to design and manage the diversity of their identity. It seeks so the unit reaches, throughdrawing, a coherent identity with the visual discourse associated with it and be able to add value and contribute to its affirmation and recognition.

The interaction between users and health animations
Accessing the facts in a drug description leaflet, whether digital or printed, is indispensable for the correct use of a medicine. The use of technology such as animations, which are already proven as an aid in the process of teaching and learning, may be an interesting resource to assist and facilitate the understanding of this information. Thereby, considering studying how this contribution can be made, this research sought to investigate user interaction with animations of topical and injectable medications, following the phases: literature study, experimental study and discussion of results. The interaction was investigated with a total of 40 participants: 20 health professionals (satisfaction and interview about the description leaflet) and 20 potential users (content, comprehension and simulation of use). The results, obtained by a qualitative analysis, showed that the participants are satisfied with the animations, as they considered them clear and a good way to simplify the understating of the information. Therefore, interest in animated materials can contribute and facilitate access to data.
