Evidence about Health Education for elderly who lived the falls
Identifying scientific evidence on factors that potentiate and limit health education for the elderly experiencing a fall is the goal of this study. Integrative review conducted in the PubMed and LILACS databases in May 2015, selecting 15 articles. Evident factors that enhance health education to elderlies who fell, as bond construction and the ability of professionals, and factors that limit this process, as their lack of knowledge about falls, shortness of orientation and aspects related to the elderly.

Concept of Aging in the voice of a focal group of elders: Experience report
The objective of this work is to relate the experience of approaching the concept of aging from the voice of the elderly through a focus group. A qualitative study was carried out with the technique of a focal group consisting of ten elderly people who attend Coexistence Groups in a community in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The following categories emerged: Stage of life, Physical changes, Social changes, Emotional changes, Motivation, Coexistence. Older adults define aging as a stage of life where physical changes, social changes and emotional changes are experienced.

Psychometric Properties of the Inventory of Reasons for Migration in Retirement
Migration processes can be defined as a phenomenon composed of population currents that move from one area to another. The objective of this study was to gather evidence of validity for the Inventory of Reasons for Migration in retirement. In order to do so, 12 items were elaborated to evaluate the reasons that lead retirees to migrate. The inventory was applied to a sample of 284 retirees, living in the Região dos Lagos, in Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil, and the majority being female (51.4%). The results of the confirmatory factor analysis, indicated that the instrument has three dimensions: Environment, Leisure and Safety (α = 0.82), Social Support (α = 0.72) and Mobility and Services (α = 0.56). In addition, correlations of these reasons with other variables were verified: affective / conjugal relationship and prior knowledge of the place, and the positive and significant correlations of weak to moderate were identified with the Migration Reasons Inventory. This study provides the researchers a tool to measure the reasons for migration to the national context, municipal administration and academic area.

The profile of the elderly in Primary Health Care of a middle city Brazil
ABSTRACT: The aim of this study was to describe the profile about the elderly in Primary Health Care in Brazilian meddle city. Cross-sectional study with 162 participants. It was verified that majority of women, advanced age, reduced per capita income, high prevalence of cardiovascular diseases and most of them obtained service on the last on the last attempt. The reality that circumscribes the elderly connected with primary health care is permeated by positive and negative aspects.

Pension programs for the elderly in the economic alternative, raise different variables for obtaining benefits, in the present empirical study, the descriptive results are analyzed and a factor analysis is achieved to know the determining factors to address the economic vulnerability through of the pension program 65 and more, in the state of Nuevo León.

Sao Sebastiao Market Old Workers: Reflections on Old Age and Informal Work
This study aimed to understand the meanings of work and living conditions of old workers in São Sebastião Market, located in the city Fortaleza, CE, Brazil. Data collection was conducted through literature and field research, with observation, registering in journal field and the application of semi-structured interview, with qualitative approach and hermeneutic dialectic method of analysis. The results showed that the importance of working for the respondents is related to maintaining their roles as family providers, the space for socialization provided by labor and ensured income that is enough to fulfill their needs and those of their relatives.

Living in a condominium for the elderly under the perception of their residents
The objective of this study was to describe the perception of the elderly about their experience in a condominium for the elderly. Descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, carried out in a municipality in southwest Goiás. The sample consisted of 18 elderly, of whom 8 were female and 10 were male. As a result, it was highlighted that among the reasons that led the elderly to reside in the condominium was for not paying rent. Residents feel satisfied and happy to live in the institution.

Influence of dual task in functional performance in institutionalized and not institutionalized elderly
This cross-sectional study evaluated the influence of dual task in functional performance of institutionalized and not institutionalized elderly. For it, they performed simple and dual task activities, with a lower performance in the dual tasks and in the institucionalized elderly, and it was concluded that the addition of a double task reduces functional performance, especially in the institucionalized elderly.

Lifestyle associated to serum levels of HDL cholesterol in oldest-old people: the AMPAL Study
This article intended to identify significantly determinants related to HDL cholesterol serum levels in oldest-old (≥ 85 years) in a South city of Brazil. It could be expected the declining of 2mg/dL HDL cholesterol value by each one day of increasing on the weekly frequency refrigerant consumption. The HDL cholesterol levels were inversely associated with being man, to have higher waist circumference, serum triglyceride levels and frequency refrigerant consumption, regardless the kind of it.

Preparation and drug administration in elderly hospitalized
Estudo descritivo observacional, desenvolvido em um hospital público de Fortaleza, Ceará, Brasil, com 12 técnicos de enfermagem, que objetivou identificar as ações realizadas pela equipe de enfermagem durante o preparo e administração de medicamentos em idosos hospitalizados. As observações possibilitaram a identificação de falhas ou problemas no processo de preparo e administração de medicamentos, revelando, portanto, a necessidade de uma prática profissional fundamentada em conhecimentos científicos e evidências clínicas.

Quality of life of family-caregivers of patients with dementia
This study aimed to evaluate the profile and quality of life of family caregivers of elderly with demential syndroms. Data were collected using the SF-36 instrument and a sociodemographic questionnaire. Descriptive and correlational analyzes were performed that showed influence of age, schooling, religion, physical activities and perception of dependence on quality of life. It was verified that it is possible to gather that the dependence level of the patient and the good economical condition of the families are important aspects to the maintenance of the caregiver’s quality of life.

Violence against elderly in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil: analysis of notifications from 2009 to 2016
A descriptive and documentary study was carried out by means of an online search on Sinan-Net, with the objective of analyzing the reports of violence against the elderly, in Rio Grande do Sul, from 2009 to 2016. There was a growing increase of notifications of violence against the elderly in the state, especially among women and whites. Most cases of violence occurred in an urban environment, with a greater frequency of physical and psychological violence, by corporal force and threat.Keywords: Aged; Violence; Notification.

Epidemiological pr¬¬¬ofile of elderly patients with proximal fracture of the femur treated of Regional Hospital of Low Amazon, Santarém, PA, Brazil
This cross-sectional, retrospective study characterized the epidemiological profile of elderly patients with proximal femoral fracture (PFF) treated in a hospital of high and medium complexity. Data were collected from the medical records of the elderly with FPF attended in the year 2016. There was a predominance of females, with a mean age of 78.1 years, browns, widows, with low level of education, submitted to osteosynthesis. The most common type of fracture was the neck of the femur, the fracture mechanism being the fall of the height itself. The mean number of hospitalization days was 8.4 (± 5.9) days and the mortality rate was 2.2%.

Aging in the perspective of the active elderly
A study with a qualitative approach, semi-structured interview and delimitation by saturation criterion and data content analysis had the objective to understand the aspects promoting healthy aging from the perspective of active elderly. The results point to the need for an articulated, interdisciplinary work based on the dialogue between psychology as a science, society and professionals working in the different health sectors.

Multi-professional approach in Health Promotion: from the professional view and the subject of care context
Objective: To evaluate the multi-professional approach in the professional view and the subject of care contexts of a regular physical activity program. Methodology: Mixed method study, based on RE-AIM (Reach = Efficacy = Adoption = Implementation = Maintenance), carried out between October, 2015 and August, 2016, in the countryside of Bahia, through a semi-structured interview with professionals and adult-elderly people with a chronic non-communicable disease, participants of a regular physical activity program, and review of medical records. Results: They showed the benefits of integrating work to the collective social health approach in people's health, in professional training and in the improvement of people's health, impacting blood pressure indexes, so as to reduce them to levels that promote quality of health and human life. Conclusions: The promotion of quality of life and health of people living with a chronic disease is improved when performed with a multi-professional and interdisciplinary approach, which are necessary elements to the improvement of public policies and health programs that impact public health.

Senior Universities and Active Aging: the impacts on the elderly in Portugal
This article discusses the theme of senior universities and active aging and their importance in the lives of the elderly. This is a critical literature review that addresses the issue of aging in the social context from the current offer of participation of older people in senior universities. In this context, the foundation of these institutions, at an international and national level, is analyzed, highlighting a senior university located in the interior of Portugal, more concretely in the city of Castelo Branco, known as Senior University Albicastrense (USALBI).

Analysis of Retirement Preparation Programs (RPA) developed by Brazilian public institutions
This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of the Retirement Preparation Programs (PPA), developed by 35 managers or coordinators in an equal number of Brazilian public institutions. Through a questionnaire, the managers evaluated items such as time of existence, methodology, topics covered in the programs and the process of monitoring and evaluation. Half of the programs were up to two years old, most used lectures, dynamics, experiences, workshops and coaching. In general, few organizations performed systematic monitoring and evaluation, especially to prove its effectiveness in the well-being of retirees after leaving the organization. Recommendations are provided for the systematization, expansion and evaluation of the PPA in Brazil.Keywords: Retirement preparation programs; Profile; Contents; Organizations.

Acute cardiovascular responses to different functional tests in elderly
Chair stand test, timed up and go, and the 6-minute walk test are often used in clinical and scientific settings. However, cardiovascular responses to these tests require investigation. Thus, the objective of the present study was to evaluate the behavior of heart rate, blood pressure and respiratory rate after the tests. Our findings demonstrate that the investigated tests promote only modest cardiorespiratory changes in the elderly.Keywords: Elderly; Cardiovascular System; Physical Exercise.
