Many researches related trust with transactions performance (for instance, KRISHNA; MARTIN; NOORDERHAVEN, 2006; DAS; TENG, 2001; KROEGER, 2012; TEJPAL; GARG; SACHDEVA, 2013). Those researches directly tested the relationship between trust and performance, and all stated that such an influence occurs through the trust influence on alliance management activities, related to relational capacity. In other words, they argue that trust moderately influences the relationship between relational capacity and performance. However, there is no work directly testing this relationship. In this context, the aim of this research was to test the role of trust between partners in the relationship among relational capacity and alliance performance of cargo agents, as well as importers and exporters in cargo transportation sector. Some hypotheses were tested: the first concerned the related capacity positively influencing an alliance performance. The second concerned the trust positively influencing the relational capacity; the third tested whether the trust positively influenced the alliance performance, the fourth was whether the trust moderated the relationship between relational capacity and performance and the fifth tested whether the relational capacity mediated the relationship between trust and performance and the fifth. This research may add a critical point of view to logistic sector, because there are no other works considering service providers´ opinions (cargo agents) concerning trust in alliances. Many works tested trust perception in clients´ point of view, but not the providers´. The methodology applied in this research was the quantitative. The target population involved cargo agents located in São Paulo State, experienced in strategic alliances, identified in Guia Marítimo Magazine. The questionnaire was applied through telephone, email and personal interview, relating interest constructs. Moreover, the analysis was made through structural equations model. The theoretical contribution of this work was to test the moderate action of trust in the relationship between relational capacity and alliances performance. The research implications for companies’ management are to deep the knowledge of trust impact on cargo agents.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder describes a set of effects that may occur in an individual who has been exposed to alcohol during their intrauterine development. In this sense, the purpose of this research was to develop and evaluate a brief training on this disorder for professionals of the Family Health Strategy program in the city of Franca/SP. The method used was the experimental intervention. The relation to knowledge change was evaluated by means of a questionnaire of specific knowledge, applied in two distinct moments: before and immediately after the course. To verify the acceptance of the course, a satisfaction questionnaire was applied. The course was attended in class and lasted for three hours and thirty minutes. Twenty-nine Community Health Agents (83% of the total number of professionals working in the municipality) were attended by 4.500 families. The results indicated that there was a statistically significant retention of knowledge (Z = -4.014: p<0.001), the mean initial guess was 6.7 and the final 8.5. The minimum scores achieved before and after the course were 3 and 7 points respectively. Regarding the qualification of the participants to identify a child with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, the most severe case of the spectrum, the percentage ranged from 14% in the first moment to 76% after the training. Regarding the level of satisfaction of the educational intervention, 80% of the sample indicated the concepts "Very Good and Good". Therefore, there was a significant improvement in the knowledge about the immediate and late fetal effects of the alcohol consumed in the gestation among the professionals who did the brief training. Further research should be done to ensure these results by applying a follow up to verify long term content retention.

The result of an interdisciplinary formative experience and an empirical, theoretical and documentary research, this work consists in the union of a cultural network , composing an audiovisual ethnography of Canudos in the its backlands, from the point of view of women during the twenty-first century. The historical invisibility to which women were subjected confirmed again when Euclides da Cunha in the book Rebellion in the Backlands, reduces the narrative and the registers of their stocks to almost null, even though they were the majority of the population in Antonio Conselheiro group. The past acts inevitably on this, especially when living in a soil that absorbed the blood of thousands of victims of genocide filed in the name of the order, hidden under the cloak of the democracy and silenced by the ideological apparatuses of the state for a long time. Canudos went through the extermination in a bloody war promoted by the State (1896-1897); It reorganized in 1910 on the ruins of Belo Monte, which was totally flooded by the construction of Cocorobó’s Dyke in 1969. Canudos waz reconfigured around the dam, constituting a municipality in 1985. The force of history, culture and society acts on the people who develop their range of meanings, from perspectives about themselves, others and about the world, powered by their own personal imagination and life story. The union between biographies and cultures is the main object of this research, which plunges into the imagination and reality of women who now live in Canudos. Ethnography and ethnobiography are methodological principles that guides this research, which we conceptually foresee an experimental and transmedia material, that combines different views such as photography, audiovisual, textuality and orality in order to cover the complexity of the cultural dimension of the characters as well as the expression and dissemination of the narratives constructed by the author, arranged in a postmodern cultural network, to be consolidated in a web documentary.
