Mounts are considered structural parts. Generally, mounts utilize metals such as aluminum and steel. These metals have high fatigue strength and its degradation temperature transmitted by the engines is very small. This work aimed to study the replacement of the aluminum mounts engine by glass fiber reinforced polyamide composite in order to reduce the mass. Polyamide reinforced with fiberglass is the choice that offers the best compromise of a recyclable material, with adequate thermal and fatigue resistance. The composite used was the commercial polyamide PA66 with 0%, 30%, 35%, 50% glass fiber. This study will focus mainly on the fatigue properties of the composite at temperatures of engine operation. The fatigue tests of the composite with glass fiber additions were performed on flexure specimens at 120°C. The fatigue behavior of the composite was analyzed using the staircase method. The results obtained in fatigue tests showed that the polyamide with 50% glass fiber has the lowest deflection. The observations of the fracture surfaces of the tested specimens were made by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). These observations by SEM showed an excellent adhesion of glass fiber in the polyamide. Analyzes will also be conducted by simulation using the Finite Element Method (FEM) from fatigue results and the conditions of use of the component. The comparison by the FEM of the mounts manufactured of glass fiber reinforced polyamide composite and of aluminum alloy indicated similar results with respect to stress levels. The fatigue tests results and of the simulation by finite element method showed a good possibility of substitution of the aluminum alloy by glass fiber reinforced polyamide composite in the mounts, with a reduction in weight of 0.2 kg (32%).

This paper proposes the solution of a problem arising from the performance of the company Hoken, of drinking water purifiers for the promotion and sale of its products, in a poorly integrated way, with the individual and corporate segments. This problem has made it difficult to take advantage of market opportunities for its expansion, given the isolated actions of its franchisees, direct sales by the company and e-commerce. A diagnosis was made through research with interviews with managers, franchisees and customers, which revealed the depth and extent of the nonexistent integration of actions in the segment. Nevertheless, customers recognized the superior quality of products and service over competitors. To solve the problem, a sales management model was proposed, including a new, more integrative process, and the development and maintenance of effective communication with customers, both individuals and companies. The solution should be implemented gradually, taking into account the realities and practices already consolidated in the company. The development of the solution involved great complexity, mainly due to the lack of data from this market segment and the need for interviews with different people in distant geographic locations. The innovation of the work was due to the fact that the solution was sought from outside the company, according to the view that problem solving should result in improved business performance. With the implementation of the proposal, directed to the company's management, it is expected to improve sales results, especially in relation to companies, seen as the segment where the best business opportunities are located, despite demanding greater efforts and costs than in relation to individuals. The proposal includes indications of the expected results with its implementation, the necessary resources and capacities, the specific actions for its feasibility, the specific actions proposals, the risk analysis, the intervention strategy for changes and the forms of evaluation of the results.

Debates and research on literacy have become constant not only because of the importance of the theme, but also because of the constant concern about the results that tests applied in public schools from 1st to 9th grade present. Contrary to the objective for Elementary Education cit ed in our National Education Guidelines and Bases Law – LDB, which is to develop the ability to learn trough the mastery of reading, writing and calculat inf, Brazilian students results are very low. Reading and writing are essential in modern society and require specific skills that must be worked on in order for these skills to be acquired, such as phonological awareness. Studies are being conducted with the intention of searching for causes and solutions for the school failure that is more evident in the full domain of the reading and writing process. This research aimed to analyze the phonological awareness, reading and writing skills in children from 1st to 4 th, grade of elementary school in a publici school in the greater São Paulo region. For the purpose of the rearch we used phonological awareness assessment test, reading and writing. The results indicated a strong correlation between writing ability and reading ability. Reading and writing skills also showed a strong correlation with phonological awareness ability. Both writing and reading skills were correlated with phonemic and supraphonemic phonological awareness. These results highlighted the importance of phonological awareness at the beginning of writing and reading acquisition. Through the analysis of variance it was possible to observe significant differences bewtween each year performance difference according to the leve of education, suggesting that, with the school progression, there is a tendency to an improvement in the performance in the proposed tasks. In general, most of the statistically significant differences were in relation to the 1 st to 4 th grades. Research with different samples should be performed to verify 10 the difference between school years. Research suggests that helping children to clearly and consistently relate graphemes to phonemes is necessary in order for educational institutions to achieve one of their ultimate goals literacy

O presente trabalho tem o intuito de analisar o enquadramento de indivíduos portadores do transtorno da psicopatia no ordenamento jurídico penal brasileiro a partir do juízo de culpabilidade que pode ser inferido a eles, sendo esse o da semiimputabilidade, sob a ótica do Código Penal. Doravante, o labor intencionará trazer à reflexão a discrepância de posicionamentos doutrinários no tocante à categorização de indivíduos com psicopatia como doentes mentais, à possibilidade de tratamento satisfatório do distúrbio com base em pesquisas já realizadas e à eficácia das duas sanções penais aplicáveis aos psicopatas atualmente, tais quais a medida de segurança e a pena privativa de liberdade. Através de pesquisas na doutrina e em artigos científicos brasileiros e estrangeiros, decorrerá no desenredo de que, nos tempos contemporâneos, não existe uma imposição penal apropriada aos psicopatas e que atinja suas finalidades, devendo ser exigida uma mudança na perspectiva sobre o tema atual, para que seja promovida uma futura reinserção social de tais indivíduos.

In this work, the O-band discrete Raman amplifier gain bandwidth optimization using genetic algorithm of a commercial simulator is carried out. The main objective of the study was to optimize the wide Raman amplifier gain bandwidth obtaining values of gain variation less than 0.5 dB. Using a fiber DCF (Dispersion Compensating Fiber) as Raman amplifier medium, the pump number was varied and the gain variation for each pump configuration has been verified. For a fixed 70 nm (1275-1345 nm) bandwidth consisting of 62 signal frequencies points, the results were generated for one, two, three, four, five, six, seven and eight backward pumps, which with the last one it was obtained the best result of 0.35 dB gain variation. In addition to this analysis, it was also found the Raman amplifier noise figure for this band and made a brief comparison with the conventional profile bands.

Affirmative projects are actions that enhance student’s permanence in a school, providing necessary materials for possible daily academic needs. This study aims to analyze the connection between social environment, academic performance and sociometric status of elementary students participating in an affirmative project in a private educational institution. The research was conducted with 334 students chosen by convenience of said educational institution in São Paulo city. The parents of 37 students that were granted scholarships, known as Grupo Projeto, were interviewed following the guidelines of a sociodemographic survey prepared for the present study and a specific survey called Inventário de Recursos do Ambiente Familiar (RAF). 74 participating students, part of Grupo Pesquisa e Controle, had their academic performance compared in relation to others. In a second stage, descriptive statistical analysis were carried out to characterize the sociometric status. In addition, inferential statistical analysis were carried out to verify if there were differences between the Grupo Projeto and Grupo Controle regarding the variables analyzed. In relation to income, the groups have extremely distant socioeconomic realities. Regarding the educational performance, Grupo Projeto had a lower performance if compared to those among the paying group; in sociometric status, the students of Projeto Grupo did not indicate any level of social rejection. We hope that the results encourage measures of stimulation, protective parental practices and institutional changes regarding the acceptance of students of affirmative projects.

Este trabalho busca investigar a importância do térreo urbano para a cidade e como é possível difundir o uso público no espaço privado afim de conciliar a vida urbana com o incentivo privado, percursor do desenvolvimento dentro da cidade contemporânea. Com o objetivo de gerar espaços mais humanos que busquem, além de expandir a rua para dentro do lote, criar diretrizes projetuais que conciliam a cidade, em todo o seu âmbito urbano, com as necessidades que ela possui referente a sua evolução e desenvolvimento. Para isso foram realizadas algumas análises e levantados alguns conceitos que possibilitaram o entendimento do cotidiano da cidade e como é dada essa ocupação do espaço fornecedor de uso público e o que ele proporciona as pessoas que o habitam e a cidade a quem ele pertence. Posteriormente esses conceitos foram aplicados na área de estudo escolhida, a qual teve sua própria análise e investigações que buscaram entender de forma mais direta e objetiva a sua realidade viva e construída. Também foram realizados alguns levantamentos para fins projetuais, os quais esclareceram as necessidades, potencialidades, condicionantes e deficiências da região, que neste caso se resume a Rua Augusta, mais especificadamente ao Baixo Augusta. E finalmente, quais são as conclusões, tanto em relação ao âmbito de projeto arquitetônico e urbano quanto em relação a vida dentro da cidade, proporcionada e definida, muitas vezes, pelos próprios habitante, além de suas consequências e atributos para a cidade contemporânea.

O artigo tece considerações sobre a aplicabilidade da mediação e da constelação sistêmica como métodos alternativos às demandas judiciais para solucionar casos de abdução infantil internacional. Na primeira parte, será estudada a Convenção da Haia sobre os Aspectos Civis do Sequestro Internacional de Crianças, de 1980, seu desenvolvimento e os principais desafios enfrentados para sua total efetividade por parte dos Estados-membros. Em seguida, será abordada a mediação como instrumento de resolução de conflitos alternativo ao Poder Judiciário e sua aplicação no cenário atual, além das principais dificuldades encontradas pelas partes ao optar por este meio. Finalmente, será apresentada a teoria sistêmica de Bert Hellinger e como este método tem sido utilizado como uma técnica auxiliar à mediação no próprio sistema judiciário brasileiro em casos relacionados ao Direito de Família. Adotou-se como metodologia de estudo, a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental de fontes primárias e secundárias. Os resultados obtidos com base na revisão de literatura científica, mostram que a mediação, e a constelação sistêmica como método auxiliar, podem ser utilizadas na solução de casos de abdução infantil no âmbito internacional. Entretanto, por mais que a Convenção e os Estados-membros incentivem a utilização de métodos alternativos, a dificuldade de homologação de acordos privados estrangeiros prejudica a sua aplicação na prática.
