This M.Sc. thesis research discusses the phenomenon of residential condominiums in District Sapiranga in Fortaleza, from the point of view of its relationship with the city. Presenting itself as implementation of residential condominiums, discusses the transformation of the built environment that has resulted in significant differences in the ways urban insertion of these residential complexes. The objective of this work is to characterize the phenomenon of residential condominiums homes, identifying determinants for the production process of this type, and performing a critical analysis of its features and its significance. Relates to the phenomenon of dynamic real in Fortaleza, and the time from 1995 to 2009 is justified because it represents a specific moment of this dynamic real estate in the good economic times facing the country and the availability of credit contributed to the explosion of residential condominiums. The methodology used in this work consisted in field observation, in order to register the impact on the perception of the built environment and public space in the neighborhood, in records obtained from aerial photos on the occurrence of residential condominiums and reports and interviews of architects designers of these condominiums. This M.Sc. thesis research found that the studied phenomenon is causing problems in urban space, especially residential segregation; provided mainly by the migration of high-class and middle-income of the neighborhoods in Fortaleza, influenced by the real estate marketing for the area southeast of the city which until recently was characterized with low density.

The present work deals with the development of a real estate development business model for the company Rossiplan, taking advantage of the implementation of a studio apartment complex in the Lapa neighborhood of São Paulo. For this, an applied scientific methodology was used, with clearly defined steps, to guarantee its consistency and validity. Although the business is in progress, the experience of using a real situation was fundamental to the development of the business model, helping to think strategically and in the long term the growth of the company. The applied work involved making decisions and overcoming the problems that have arisen, from the financial and legal issues of the partners, the definitions of the architectural design, to the legal requirements. The innovation of the work is in the way the real estate evelopment can be developed with the participation of the landowner, the partners and the company, in the planning and the decision making, focusing on the needs of the clients. This model does not treat the landowner only as owner of the property, involves him as a participant in the development of the enterprise, transferring technical and business feasibility information, making him confident about the results to be obtained. The complexity of developing a business model like this is in the high risks and difficulties of integrating the different interests of the participants, that is, making clear the creation of value for each one of them. Here, time is a crucial element, as each postponement or non-compliance with deadlines results in unnecessary transaction costs, operating costs and expenses. Negotiation with the landowners required a survey of their financial and legal pending, mortgage liens, attachment, among other aspects, which eventually required the resolution of pending issues. The lifting of permits from the various construction legislations, beginning with that on zoning, required great care given their complexity and breadth. With regard to the preliminary architectural studies, there were many discussions and adjustments, since different versions of the product had to be elaborated, especially after diagnosis on demand, with interviews with brokers and potential clients. Notwithstanding the demonstration of the feasibility of developing a business model based on a study of studio apartments, it is necessary to be perfected for application in other segments of this market, since the participants should not vary.

The challenges of the business environment in the 2010s are becoming increasingly complex, with fast-paced changes and different kinds of pressure from competition, customers, regulatory agencies, unions, the economy, etc. In this context, organizations need to be more responsive to change and learn quickly in the face of new demands. In the 80s and 90s, the quality of products and services was the rule to differentiate between companies on the market, which made organizations seek models and systems to ensure compliance with the highest standards of quality required in different markets. In addition, companies increased their standards of operational efficiency, productivity and reliability, but also ended up becoming more similar and only slightly differentiated among themselves. Organizations now face the challenge of adopting more flexible systems, standards and structures in order to facilitate adaptation to the current context, which is extremely dynamic. In this scenario, innovation can help organizations become more competitive, as long as they can continually learn, by taking advantage of the informal learning in the workplace, which represents more than 80% of the total number of learning opportunities. Considering the current levels of complexity, dynamism and uncertainty present in the work environment, errors or failures are by-products of organizational processes and are not necessarily bad; it is important that organizations can quickly learn from the mistakes, through people. Some factors may influence the creation of an environment where people can learn from mistakes, experiment and apply ideas, by adopting innovative work behaviors. This quantitative study seeks to examine the relationship between the factors that influence learning from errors and the innovative work behaviors in a multinational organization in the pharmaceutical segment. The research with employees from different areas received 146 valid responses which were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis with the SmartPLS 2.0 M3 software. The hypothesis that the Factors that Influence the Learning from Mistakes have positive relationship with the Innovative Work Behaviors was confirmed. The structural coefficient obtained between the two dimensions was 0.618 (p< 0.001), which means that the construct Factors that Influence the Learning from Mistakes explains 38% of the variation in the indices of the Innovative Work Behaviors construct. The companies ability to quickly learn from mistakes and experiments, taking advantage of the human capital potential, particularly through innovative work behaviors, can be a critical aspect of differentiation in the marketplace and a way for companies to obtain competitive advantage. This study aims to contribute to the expansion of knowledge on the subject, highlighting the importance of the proper management of the factors that may influence the learning from mistakes in the work environment. In addition, this study contributes with the validation and adaptation of the original scales of constructs studied to the Brazilian context.

This study aims to analyze the National Financial Education Strategy – ENEF established by the State in 2010. The present study adopts the qualitative research procedures and analyzes the national financial education strategies of four foreign countries besides Brazil. It considers the performance of those countries on international assessments regarding financial education, which are promoted by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Content analysis techniques were applied for the analysis of the selected documents. This study follows steps of pre-analysis, investigation of the documents, processing of the results and interpretation, as described by Bardin (2011) in the content analysis technique. Data were collected in 2019 and, after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, it was reached a sample of ten documents, which were investigated, based on different categories. The creation of ENEF was based on the OECD’s recommendations and ENEF reflects to different aspects of the national strategies of financial education that were investigated. On the other hand, there are limitations regarding ENEF and the programs’ continuity depends on new legal and political definitions. This study concludes that legal and political actions are required in Brazil, which should be coordinated by State to increase financial education of all Brazilian people. The development of the financial market taking into account the interest of consumers, social justice and full citizenship depends on public policies coordinated by State. These policies should focus on the financial knowledge and the citizens’ awareness of their rights regarding access to financial market.

The object of this research, is identify and quantify the Public Architecture of some cities near form the city of São Paulo (Santo André, São Bernardo do Campo e São Caetano do Sul), during the years of 1960 till 1973. This research looks to realize a documental reference for new researchs, and to help in process of preservation, and the most important, give a new value to the buildings studied in this work. In the case and period studied, the documentation is very important, because shows, in general lines, a production that is part of what is called Arquitetura Brutalista Paulista . This work gives not only a grafic document, because compare, and make a description based on the general ways of the Modern Architecture in São Paulo at the period.

O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso busca abordar os aspectos teóricos relacionados aos Meios de Solução de Conflitos no Direito de Família, tendo como objetivo apresentar os meios, as possibilidades e limitações acerca da aplicação desses institutos no Direito de Família. Nesse estudo, foi realizada uma breve apresentação do conceito de família, seu princípio da afetividade e seu momento histórico, bem como a sua evolução ao longo dos anos. Não se pode olvidar que a família, com o passar do tempo, veio sofrendo mudanças consideráveis, com adaptações e novas perspectivas. A não intervenção do Estado nos conflitos relacionados ao Direito de Família é um dos temas desenvolvidos, bem como a qualificação de profissionais que atuam nas ações de família. Foram apresentados os meios passíveis de solução dos conflitos e seus respectivos conceitos, além das possibilidades de aplicação ou não dos institutos. Houve um estudo do procedimento arbitral, analisando suas espécies de convenção, sendo elas cláusula compromissória e compromisso arbitral a fim de relacionar as vantagens e desvantagens da arbitragem frente ao processo judicial. Foram analisadas a interdisciplinaridade do Direito de Família e as formas como os meios de solução dos conflitos extrajudicialmente ocorrem no cenário mundial. As Normas de Direito Material aplicáveis à solução do conflito pela via arbitral, ou seja, havendo cláusula arbitral, as partes possuem discernimento e livre arbítrio para escolherem a norma aplicável. O trabalho tem como escopo analisar o uso dos meios de solução alternativos dos conflitos por meio da ética profissional e o princípio da boa-fé objetiva e da função social no direito contratual, pois constata-se que todo contrato tem por dever observar a uma função social. Por fim, foi analisado meios de aplicação e as limitações desses meios alternativos no Direito de Família, nos seguintes tópicos: separação e divórcio e nas ações de alimentos.

The religious endogamy is a social institution historically well established in the Presbyterian tradition. However, an important part of church members get involved emotionally, dating and marrying people outside of approved religious group. This study researched how was the spread, maintenance and social legitimacy of endogamy concept in the Brazilian Presbyterianism, since the missionary Presbyterianism introduction in the country, trying to understand how religious endogamy has been justified in brazilians social and religious plurality. This study is specially importante nowadays, qhen some people believe that religious institutions legitimacy determine behavior patterns is getting out of use. Comparative studies on endogamy among immigrant populations, the history of endogamous precept in Christianity, the analysis of biblical texts that underlie endogamy and a field survey among attendees at a Presbyterian community on São Paulo, Brazil, contributed to the understanding of the issue from the point of view of the institution and from the perspective of its faithful ones.

The national question was constantly questioned by national thought. The national question was, in general, related to the idea of delay. At the end of the century and early nineteenth century XX, the national question and the alleged delay in Brazil was explained from the bio-psychological paradigm, the ideology of national character. The criticisms of anthropology and sociology to that paradigm, at the beginning of the century XX caused its gradual weakening and, later, its downfall, in Brazil, driven by the work of Caio Prado Junior. During the second half of the century XX, in the 50s and 60s, the bio-psychological paradigm gave rise to economic development. Since then, the national question before explained from racial elements, or the relationship between race and environment, has to be explained by the economic position of Brazil in relation to nations considered developed. In this context comes into play Development and Culture, written by Mario Vieira de Mello in 1963 to join the dialogue on the country's development. The purpose of this study is to assess the role of Mario Vieira de Mello, his work Development and Culture, and his notion of aestheticism in Brazilian culture to the understanding of the national question.

This research work is primarily based on the analysis of the Bartoons a series of comic strips made by the Portuguese cartoonist Luís Afonso. Special attention is drawn to the voice that emerges from the enunciation of its discourse and how it has contributed to make the Portuguese reader reflect upon the independence of East Timor from Indonesia. For the purpose of this study, seven Bartoons published between the 6th and the 24th of September 1999, in the Espaço Público section in the Portuguese newspaper Público, were chosen at random. Since the Bartoons re-create, intertextually, the social political moment prior to the arrival of ONU s Peace Force and the conquest of East Timor independence, a brief historical retrospective and some contextualization of the country s situation are presented. In order to provide a detailed discussion, it was necessary to refer to the constituent elements of the comic strip genre. Thus, McCloud (2005) and Eisner (2001; 2005) were taken into account. Considering the general aspects involving the construction of the ethos in the Discourse Analysis, Maingueneau s theory (1997; 2005) revealed as the most appropriate one. At last, this analysis tried to reveal the satirical voice used in the making of the strips wisely associated with the discoursive denunciation presented in the drawings. Moreover, by using irony, the analysis empathizes with the East Timorese s suffering and disqualifies their oppressors, trying to touch the reader and persuade him/her to feel indignant and think over the subject.

The speech “I Have a Dream”, delivered by Martin Luther King, has echoed throughout the world over the years for political, social and religious reasons. Despite being a deeply studied text, this dissertation aims to approach it within the scope of a hermeneutical analysis of the discourse, seeking to better understand its pertinence and adequacy, both at the time of its pronouncement and in the present day. In its original context, Luther King's speech points to the struggle against racial segregation and the exclusion of civil rights of black Americans. The manner in which the speech and the objectives of the March for Rights and Labor were presented took over the US capital city with people aggrieved for suffering segregation and sensitive to this intolerant attitude. For this, this dissertation, as it aims a Hermeneutic Analysis of the Discourse, recovers historical, social, political and religious contexts. The present study also makes intertextual connections to other Luther King’s conferences, as well as with several moments in which the presence of the text of the Sacred Scriptures can be recognized. Finally, under a contemporary view, this research verifies the current relevance of the theme of "I Have a Dream", a discourse that is constantly re-contextualized and whose theme is always urgent.

The present work sought to identify the relationship between the amount of access managers have to managerial reports and financial performance on projects, as well if the managerial report tools are being adapted according to the managers need during the project. A study using a Single Survey Entity method was applied to an information technology company, in order to analyze its data. The results shows a positive correlation between the access given to managers, the managerial reports and the gross margin; and a negative relation between the access to reports and worked hours. In order to identify the relationship between the access and the Project Margins, the data available in regards of time allocated by managers and project gross margins were extracted from the company database and its history access information. All the data obtained was consolidated into a single database and sample normality tests and a correlation matrix were performed in order to identify if the relationship between the user accesses and their margins were related. By using the method of analysis through the correlation between the variables, this analyse seeks to explain casual yet complex relations through the study of historic data. In the theoretical references, Project Management and Management Control System were further discussed. From the data analysis, it has been confirmed the existence of Simon's dynamic tensions (1995), therefore it is concluded that the manager has a distinct vision of the management, while seeking and researching information from sources other than managerial reports, such as tracking the on-side performance, monitoring and executing task control as proposed by Merchant & Van der Stede (2007).

Busca do entendimento sobre o processo de apropriação de território e da paisagem urbana pela arte experimental e caráter social das estruturas parasitas. Direcionamento do olhar para as novas possibilidades de intervenções em empenas cegas, especialmente em áreas de espaços que parecem esquecidos. Os percursos pela cidade de São Paulo nunca mais serão os mesmos, a cada parede cega observada, uma nova possibilidade de redescobrir, redesenhar e reapropriar pensando nos inevitáveis atos de intervenção. O presente trabalho busca desenvolver uma abordagem projetual, experimental e especulativa visando criar soluções para cicatrizes do passado e amenizar os seus efeitos atuais.

In the present work we applied the Lomb periodogram and the wavelet transform to the light curves of three extragalactic radio sources observed by the Michigan radio telescope at 4.8 GHz, 8.0 GHz and 14.5 GHz. The results obtained using the two spectral analysis tools are complimentary to each other in the sense that the wavelet transform provided the perspective of the temporal behavior of the Lomb periodogram content. In order to take into account as much information as possible, we included VLBI data to the analysis of explosions detected in the radio light curves. Moreover, we searched for correlation between the zero-separation times and maxima/minima found in the periodicities curves revealed by the wavelet transform. In the case of the quasar OJ287 we found a new oscillatory behavior in the ~1.6 yr periodicity detected by Hughes et al. (1999). This modulation showed a ~6 yr period sinusoidal profile that agrees with the existence of a binary of black holes regulating the ejection rate of plasmons from the central region of OJ287. We detected approximately 1.6 yr and 3.3 yr periodicities of the quasar OV236. As a future work, these periodicities and their temporal behavior could be associated to the accretion dynamics of its black hole/disk. We added the radio source 0333+321 to the present essay because it presents excellent sampling and a much higher redshift when compared to OJ287 and OV236. We also plotted the spectra of selected outbursts and calculated the parameters of the related radio emission regions such as the variability radius and the brightness temperature.
