O presente relatório de pesquisa é uma revisão bibliográfica acerca do e sports. Trazendo para o leitor uma breve contextualização do início dos consoles, videogames, passando para como ocorrem as transmissões dos eventos competitivos. Mostra quando começaram os campeonatos no mundo, aproveito para contar como é a situação no e-sports no Brasil e para finalizar dou uma breve explicação do competitivo dentro do FIFA. Com base numa pesquisa teórica sobre livro-reportagem e jornalismo literário pude descrever a viagem para a cidade de Manchester na Inglaterra para o mundialito de FIFA em 2018, tema para a peça apresentada no livro-reportagem como título: “FIFA: um sonho possível”, na qual é passado para o leitor as principais aventuras e acontecimentos durante esse período. Com toda essa bagagem pude chegar a conclusão de como realizar, de maneira jornalística, um livro-reportagem com uma visão profissional do e-sports.

Literary production of the nineties and the early years of the twenty-first century is characterized the release of some literary genres, specifically what Literary Theory defined as being a novel, which do not fit the standards of Classical Literature or the peculiarities of the so-called Best Sellers. Therefore, this thesis has as its object of study the book Leopardos de Kafka, by Moacyr Scliar, which is part of the collection of detective novels Literature and Death, released by the publisher Companhia das Letras. This study aims to show the narrative resources and how they were used in the novel aforementioned, so that we can show that they break the existing boundaries between Classical Literature and Best Sellers and the standards of the traditional detective novel. For this objective to be achieved, the theoretical foundation of this thesis was based, mainly, on studies of the detective novel, done by Boileau and Narcejac (1991), Albuquerque (1979), Reimão (1983, 2005) and others; in researches on Best Sellers, done by Sodré (1978), Caldas (2000) among others and on studies of Historiographic Metafiction, postmodernism and narcissistic narrative, made by Hutcheon (1984, 2002).

Quem anda pelo centro de São Paulo, impressiona-se com a dinâmica encontrada pela agitação das pessoas que trabalham nessas regiões e pelo dinamismo dos comércios e serviços. Porem essa mesma agitação que contribui com a vivacidade do centro no período comercial, pode dificultar a percepção de um visitante distraído em relação a quantidade de imóveis abandonados nessa importante região histórica da cidade. A região central foi escolhida por ter relevância histórica, cultural, local de concentração de pessoas, comércios diversos, com vasto potencial de uso, mas que apresenta a maior quantidade de imóveis ociosos que foram notificados pela Prefeitura, por não cumprirem a Função Social da Propriedade, termo que se designa para imóveis que estão não edificados, não utilizados ou subutilizados, ou seja, sem cumprir sua função para a sociedade, beneficiando apenas o proprietário do imóvel. A pesquisa analisa as políticas habitacionais, ao longo das décadas 1940 e 2010, tendo o centro de São Paulo como foco de estudo. O projeto de Habitação Social desenvolvido a partir da análise crítica deste tema, busca preencher a cidade através do uso social dos seus edifícios, contribuindo para eliminar a real problemática de “edifícios ocos”.

This work intends to identify who is the reader of Awake! magazine and which are the main strategies used in order to convince the reader. To achieve this objective were analyzed the 12 main articles published in 2010 by this magazine in order to identify its implied readers. At first, it was presented a brief historical research about the Jehovah s Witness and the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, group and association responsible for publishing Awake!. After that, it was showed a brief historical research about Awake! and its changes since its creation until nowadays, in its contents and organization. This research showed the magazine s importance for the development of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania and to spread Jehovah s Witness doctrines. Finally, it was presented who is the possible reader of Awake! based on its 12 main articles published in 2010, which are the main strategies used in order to convince the readers and the importance of the typographic elements to build the meaning of the articles. This work offers the opportunity to know who the target public of Jehovah s Witness is.

In the current context of the graphic sector in which the digital services have progressively replaced traditional production, the challenge of the companies in this area has been to restructure the supply portfolio in order to modernize and feed the increasing demands of their customers. Accordingly, the present work aims to introduce the path taken by a graphic company, Graphis, for analysis and consequently the identification of an opportunity to make the most of the leasing equipment segment, leading to the offer of new digital services anchored in an innovative business model. Marcondes, Miguel, Franklin, and Perez (2017) protocol of technological report was used in order to introduce the course taken by the entrepreneur in his analysis and decision-making process. The observation included: on-site visit to the company, product, and process analyses; interview with the entrepreneur and access to the company’s reports and data. With the purpose of offering further opportunities, the BCG matrix tools and SWOT analysis were taken into consideration. In addition, to propose a solution, the business model was designed with the use of Business Model Canvas. Despite the analytical tools presented to the entrepreneur, it was possible to notice that his decision-making process, considering the analyzed alternatives, was guided by his personal perception of taking advantage of the identified opportunity to meet the request of a commercial partner, who ordered an on-demand solution for digital posting. Finally, the work analyzes the decisionmaking process of the entrepreneur, who finds support in the theory of effectuation, by presenting the bases of his behavior which is mainly influenced by feeling, personal ties and minimization of risks.

This research aims to establish a methodology for the creation of a convolutional neural network in situations where there is a reduced number of data for training. The scenario adopted is the identi_cation of facial expressions in images and their respective emotions. Through the validation of the proposed method, in addition to the availability of the methodology itself, a public access interface is also available for providing information about the emotions detected in an image. In this context, human behavior studies such as Paul Ekman's analysis and definitions of universal emotions are used. Diferent techniques of computer vision and machine learning with convolutional neural networks were used to create the software. The aim of this work is to verify the possibility of real-time analysis, aiming to provide data in situations in which feedback can be fundamental for making certain decisions (eg in reactions in statements, for example). Even on a reduced training data set, it was possible to achieve an average final test accuracy of 65 % with an average training time of ten minutes.

The present study aims to analyze aspects of the building, implantation, occupation, and consequent transformation of the Roosevelt Square (Praça Roosevelt, located in the central region of São Paulo) from 1967 to 2018. This analysis will firstly include a presentation of its four most relevant projects: the first and second of 1967; the third of 2008; and the fourth and last of 2010 – the last two being re-qualification projects. In the 2010 project, we will analyze morphological issues of the architecture based on authors such as Francis D.K. Ching (2013) and Geoffrey H. Baker (1998), and qualitative or humanistic issues, based on the author Jean Gehl (2015). The analysis takes into account how the population appropriated and currently makes use of this public space, which contrasts with the occupation originally designed for the area. In the current occupation of the Square, we can highlight its use as space for skateboarding and for cultural manifestations, such as theater performances. In summary, this work consists of the description of the urban insertion of Roosevelt Square from the metropolitan scale to the local scale, the presentation of the detailed history of the Square and its four major projects conceived from 1967, as well as the analysis of the 2010 project – effectively implemented and currently in use. This analysis aims to examine the morphological, qualitative and humanistic aspects of this project and seeks to emphasize the importance of taking these issues into account for the design of a public space.

In a context of various tools being used for electoral communication, the present work aims to discuss and analyze the characteristics of the Internet as a new media for political and electoral propaganda. To reach this goal, a series of arguments were created a from a social psychology point of view, to understand the human and sociological aspects of the relationship between the target of political messages and the communicators of such messages. For a deeper understanding of the Internet as a media, an analysis of the Internet was carried out giving due attention to its essential characteristics to show that the virtual environment is effectively a new media capable of carrying political messages. In order to understand the use of communication tools for electoral purposes, a literature search was carried out to discriminate different forms of political communication in Brazilian history. Finally, the Barack Obama campaign was used as case study to analyze and understand the Internet as an election tool. From this, it was possible to identify, the real innovation brought by this media to the electoral communication culture

Workmanship of legal matrix focusing the some aspects of the citizenship and its co-relation with the adoption of children and adolescents. It presents description of the citizenship, as well as its construction in the Brazilian reality. It still brings, the history of the child and the human rights attributed to the this. It traces parallels between the current reality of the attendance to the child and adolescent and looks for to show new forms of procedure, always searching to guarantee to the child its basic rights. Finally, it brings some problems found in practical of the work with adoption and the statistical data prove of the reality in question.

O presente trabalho realiza uma análise da necessidade de observação dos direitos humanos pelo Estado de modo a garantir a humanização de pena e devida ressocialização do preso. O desenvolvimento de temas como a construção dos direitos humanos, as garantias fundamentais na Constituição Federal de 1988 e a visão do Estado Democrático de Direito no que diz respeito aos direitos humanos são trazidas aqui como peça chave para o entendimento do momento em que o Estado falha em prover devida segurança aos cidadãos encarcerados. O princípio da dignidade humana, bem como o poder de punir do Estado, devidamente interligados, são abordados de maneira a se compreender o porquê de o Estado ter chegado ao ponto que chegou no que tange ao cárcere, principalmente nas prisões brasileiras, as quais não são detentoras de mínimas condições de se manter a dignidade dos encarcerados. O ápice da monografia em epígrafe é o estudo do caso das prisões em contêineres no estado do Espírito Santo, no ano de 2010, cenário no qual os presos eram postos em situações sub-humanas e torturantes.

The demands and characteristics of the field capixaba multigrade schools are very diverse (maroon, fishermen, coastal, indigenous people, small farmers and large estates), but their characteristics are not considered to be developed curricula and teaching methodologies of thought. This study sought to identify characteristics of teaching proposals that best adequasse the demands of teaching in multigrade schools field. That were used for the references of scholars who re ected on popular education in particular on rural schools as Paulo Freire, Miguel Arroyo and others, as well as institutions like RACEFFAES working with teacher training in Pedagogy of Alternation and the Theory of apprenticeship significant Ausubel (1963) according to the interpretation of Moreira e Masini (1982) and Masini e Moreira (2008). The data collected and analyzed in the research pointed to the conclusion that children star in their knowledge when they are enrolled in schools where a curriculum developed is specifically designed for rural communities and teaching practices promote the active participation of students considering the previous knowledge as a point starting to build new knowledge, this is a teaching that enables meaningful learning for children.

Os torcedores são a principal razão do futebol existir. O objetivo da reportagem “Elitiza, geral” é discutir como a modernização dos estádios de futebol no Brasil excluem parte da população mais pobre do país. Para isso, o autor deste trabalho conversou com jornalistas, sociólogos, especialistas e torcedores, para entender melhor o movimento que acontece no futebol brasileiro. A parte teórica é composta pelos eixos: elitização do futebol e webjornalismo. A peça está em formatado como uma grande reportagem para a internet.

This dissertation deals with the relationship between resources and capabilities and the generation of competitive advantage in cases of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The overall objective is to characterize the features and capabilities and management of these related to the generation of competitive advantage, relevant in mergers and/or acquisitions of various businesses. This study is exploratory, based on a research question and whose method was qualitative, considering its aspects and procedures of scientific rigor. The study sample consisted of nine companies from different business sectors (food, education, health, technology, among others) and had carried out transactions of mergers or acquisitions in recent years. The theoretical study was based on the RBV approach, which enabled the link between resources and capabilities of the company and the operations of M&A. Resources, especially tangible prevail in companies that employ much of their investments in physical assets. For these companies, classified as tangible-intensive, physical assets deemed strategic can be considered rare and/or difficult to develop. On the other hand, companies classified as intangible-intensive, strategic focus is on capacity, in some cases represented by the knowledge, skills or specific skills - needed to provide products or services properly and extend the service to its customers. The management of these strategic resources and capabilities involved the pursuit of strategic opportunities in mergers and acquisitions, but faced threats from the competition. To do so, companies made detailed analyzes of the internal and external environments through monitoring. The competitive advantages sought by these companies aimed to raise the perceived value by customers and maximize returns for shareholders and benefits. The adoption of the strategy of M&A possibilities for broadening the portfolio of products and services offered to customers. Economies of scale and synergies fostered the growth and expansion. Among the relevant findings, we verified the existence of mechanisms for integration of resources and capabilities - primarily to try and get best practices and prevent the escape of strategic talent.
