In a society that has an increasingly significant imagetic and audiovisual content, it was understood that was imperious the analysis of how the audiovisual narrative through its different means of reproduction - especially the cinema - can become a dialectical medium between architects and audiovisual producers regarding the interpretation, representation and creation of spatiality. From the study of the methodology of other authors that deal with this theme, it is concluded that for an approach of the interface between architecture and audiovisual narratives the adoption of an audiovisual work as object of study is more productive due to the variety of the architectural content contained in it and the range of interpretive possibilities. To do so, we consider the analysis of the nine “live-action” films (which are not produced entirely by computer graphics) of Star Wars from a period of forty years (1977 - 2017). Due to the extension of this set, we will select some more relevant and recurrent scenarios for a more defined comparison. The interface, in this case, will occur through the understanding of the various interpretations of urban contexts and architectural elements of our society (especially in archetypes) that were somehow represented on various planets in the films. By examining the imagery and mediatic transformations of spatial representation, it was possible to point out how the audiovisual narrative is a tool of architectural representation that is closer to the actual experience of the user than purely documentary or static filmic representations. The new media will be brought as a contribution to the idea that there are resonances with the cinematographic medium, in addition to approaching even more of the traditional spatiality of architecture with the aid of interactivity and immersion. By maintaining the same thematic object (Star Wars), parities and distinctions become even clearer. Finally, there will be evaluations of some works and architectural projects after the films that may contain clues to a possible resonance of this vast repertoire of images of the audiovisual narratives in which the Star Wars universe contributes to relevant degree and in which the architects are inserted.

This study aimed at identifying types of employees’ profiles of a national banking organization from the Meaning of Work and Personal Values Realization in the organizational environment – PVR. The assumption is that organizations are not mere environments where it draws sustenance, but spaces that enable the realization of the covering both the concrete aspect of materializing a task, how to develop a process of identity and personal story based on the experience social which, over time, relations and impacts meaning of work. This entire process has been valued by organizations, especially after the productive restructuring that took place from the twentieth century, who brought the concept of human capital. Thus, individual perceptions need to be known and understood. The Meaning of Work is the subject that has developed as a scientific research object from the work of the Meaning of Working Group (MOW, 1987). One of the most relevant studies in Brazil based on the MOW was carried out by Borges (1998b), who drafted the model adopted in this study, treating the meaning of work as a subjective and social cognition, influenced by socio-historical aspects. Already the RVP construct (MAURINO, DOMENICO, 2012) seeks to measure the perception of fair values people in the workplace, the main basis of the theory of Schwartz values (1992). This research, survey type was performed by use of two questionnaires: Inventory Labor Meaning, adapted for this research, and the Inventory of Personal Values Realization in the organizational environment. The liquid sample included 2,649 respondents, most married men, averaging 40 years. Data analysis was performed by multivariate statistical techniques. The results showed high absolute centrality of work, that is, the level of importance of the work, bringing the work as the second most important sphere of life, preceded by the family. Employees of the bank aims to working conditions, self-fulfillment and self-development, however, describe the concrete work as a source of security, which demands responsibility, commitment and agility in the face of everyday activities. In addition, they realize the routine wear and pressure as associated to the work. Mostly, they realize Self-Transcendence values, which show the highest scores. Data analysis also allowed to raise a hypothesis for future research, which verifies the existence of a positive relationship between centrality of work and RVP. To identify the types, we used the cluster analysis technique, resulting in three clusters, typified as Engajed, Responsible and Critic Persons.

This research aimed to investigate the evaluative practices carried out by the Technical Course teachers. The intention was analyze the extent to which the practices include the proposed evaluation guidelines institutionally. This analysis was performed based on the understanding of the teachers of two Senac (National Service of Commercial Education) sites, in Osasco city and Lapa district (São Paulo - SP). For the accomplishment of the research, we chose a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative) and adopted the following methodological procedures: documentary study, application of questionnaires and interviews with teachers. The theoretical framework used was based on the different ways of understanding the evaluative process and its contributions to the students learning and evolution, among them: Hoffmann (1999, 2009, 2013), Mizukami (1986), Perrenoud (1998) and Weisz (2002), and in studies on the different conceptions of teacher learning, based on the relationship between knowledge and educational practice. We find that all teachers know the institutional documents and speak clearly about the proposal, but they carry out an evaluation by measure and verification. Another point to emphasize is that many consider the students commitment as the main criterion of approval.

In this study it will be carried through the translation of the protocol of Study of the Family s History of Autism of the University of California and posterior application in the TID-MACK. In conclusion to the gotten results, it can be observed that great part of the questions contained in the protocol is contemplated in other studies that investigate the family history of individuals with TID. However, had the extension of the questions and some similarities, an adaptation for it s becomes better necessary utilization.

This paper aims to analyze and understand the beginning of the process of trade liberalization that started in the 1990s which was considered the boom of globalization into the historical events that occurred in that period. Understand how the trade liberalization was intensified by the consequences of globalization and how the World Trade Organization has been working to support and defend legal trade practices. The WTO must act in this direction, reducing borders and developing greater capacity for cooperation between different governments. The research seeks to show the organization's guidelines for achieving the elements that govern the globalization process, the WTO as an agent and the trade liberalization as a result of this relationship. The globalization process has its positive and negative points that will be raised in order to justify that globalization is a partner of the WTO in the international trading system. The Rare Earth question is better observed in mining sector, those minerals have a high price and ended up in comercial problem involving different countries where the OMC act efficiently.

The research addresses the relationship of work in agribusiness of sugar cane in the State of São Paulo to identify the reasons and economic policies of his historic building from the first division, occupation and productive use of their lands, directed since the colonial times in its legal constructions, get to identify the legal limits of the economic power that can or not to be can showing in this relation for the identification of the State s function in a development in this process. From then will be required score the possibilities of legal and political performance of the employees, through union organization, undertake the modifications that result in effective improvement of their living conditions and work.

São Paulo que é uma cidade rica em oportunidades, mas extremamente desigual, reflexo, inclusive, de um processo de urbanização acelerado desde o início do século XX, possui inúmeros edifícios desocupados em lugares dotados de infraestrutura urbana, em contraponto a um déficit habitacional de aproximadamente 300 mil unidades. A escolha do tema do Trabalho Final de Graduação se deve ao incômodo de observar as dificuldades em tratar da questão do déficit habitacional, na cidade de São Paulo, por meio de propostas ‘’pouco’’ utilizadas e difundidas no ambiente da construção civil nacional. O projeto é sobre a mudança de uso de um edifício garagem, localizado na região da Praça da República, lugar onde se concentram inúmeras modalidades de transporte coletivo, portanto, a demanda por estacionamentos é menor configurando-o como imóvel subutilizado. Desta forma, se propõe a transformação deste edifício, localizado em um endereço central na cidade, por meio de Retrofit. Entende-se retrofit como uma das possibilidades, um caminho possível, como alternativa de habitação para minimizar o déficit habitacional na cidade de São Paulo.

This research is based on the use of design as a reflection and analysis tool on the plastic values which are inherent to architectural works. For that purpose, a laboratory method has been devised, which uses designs to identify intuitive and subjective data which, jointly worked, lead to objective conclusions. Another research aspect aims to demonstrate, and originating from this tool, the interest in the study of architectural plastic themes in a separate mode, clarifying an issue which is clear and usual among the producers of architectural projects, with broad understanding being made possible by means of a visual reading, not literary. The key issue of the study searches for a conceptual definition, for didactic purposes in architecture, of differences between “volume” and “volumetry”. The research had its focus on vertical buildings, of mixed or commercial use, preferably located on corners, as the characteristics of this type of building facilitate the theme visual identification. The adopted method was the separate design of “volume” and “volumetry” from photographs of buildings, thus providing conditions for comparative analysis. Said analysis identifies if the “volumetry” work has been changed, has been kept or has reinforced the “volume” characteristics. The photographs elect a unique viewpoint and limit the surrounding visualization focus, also restricting the design and its intuitive readings. With those data, one has come to the conclusion that there is interest in proposing a didactic separation between the “volume” and “volumetry” concepts, also demonstrating that the understanding of the issue comes through an “insight” process, a perception which matures and materializes after repetitive readings of elaborated designs. For that purpose, two laboratory pieces of research have been developed: The first aimed at gathering a comprehensive number of examples, by searching for a broad spectrum of plastic analyses. Those examples constitute a broad essay made up of selected buildings among those which have been built after the invention of elevators. The selection did not aim at making a history of architecture of vertical buildings but the purpose was to elect those, which could with their form, guarantee the necessary elements to the research. The buildings have been analyzed one by one and in the end, jointly, by means of linear graphics formed within a time frame. The second essay aimed at experiencing the same method in examples of personal works. The research has been applied in the buildings which have been published, almost all of them located on corners and of commercial use. The conclusion confirms the interest of the method also for the plastic analysis of own projects. In this case, it has been revealed that the projects contain “volumes” which are worked on a plastic mode and “volumetries” which reinforce them, opposing to the functionalist and simple principles which intended to be contained in its conception. This latest essay tried to identify the existing interest in applying the method developed in an in-depth mode. Therefore, one may be concluded that it is possible to identify, in details, the concepts and differences between “volume” and “volumetry”.

This dissertation presents the vertical growth of Vila Romana neighborhood, city of Sao Paulo. The research provides a list of residential buildings and makes an analytical description of different types of condos that has been changing the whole area from 1964 until 2011. The research points the increasing urban segregation derived from large gated communities that have settled in Vila Romana caused from the new guidelines for land use and occupation established in 2004. The work not only presents the evolution of housing, but also the city regression by the decreasing of city's public spaces.

Supply chain involves all the activities associated to the handling of products since the very stage of raw materials up to the delivery of the manufactured goods to the final consumer which includes information sources and the attainment of these, the production schedule, processing order, inventory management, transportation, storage and costumer service. The relation of existing dependence among the participants of supply chain activities and resources causes consequences of negative nature when variation in any section or stage of the process occurs, phenomenon known as bullwhip effect. This phenomenon, also known as effect Forrester, is related with the increase of variation that occurs due to the up making of decisions related to political and organizational choices of investment front to the customers demand. The way the companies react to this whip effect, that is, the performance achieved is evaluated by the customers within aspects such as product quality, schedule reliability, order flexibility, delivery punctuality and last but not least a competitive final cost. These aspects are known as performance measures or competitive priorities. The main objective of this research is verifying the influence of the whip effect management within the food industry companies and the specific aim is mapping the generating features of the whip effect in this sector, besides, acknowledging the existence of such effect in levels of the supply chain and highlight the measures of control of the whip effect which are being used by the plants and also verifying the direct relationship of the bullwhip effect with the performance of everyone involved in the supply chain system. Research of qualitative and quantitative order has been lead in association with supermarkets of São Roque and Ibiúna area, quantitative surveys with the supermarkets as well as wholesale companies and Food processing companies. The results of the research point to the existence of the bullwhip effect, perceived and caused by the consumers, and amplified for the existence of promotion in the supermarkets companies, lack of sharing information among the companies of the supply chain as well as the absence of tools of electronic integration. The bullwhip effect observed also influences the performance of the organizations, mainly in flexibility and trustworthiness, affecting the Food processing companies corporative image.

Accountability is a means of controlling of acts of the Public Power that presents two main modalities: vertical accountability and horizontal accountability. The vertical accountability refers to the control carried out through the elections, where the voters express their judgment regarding the performance of the politician during the electoral mandate. The horizontal accountability deals with the relationship of reciprocal control between state agencies or powers or checks and balances. The application of accountability to the Judiciary is necessary not only due to the great independence of this Power, but also because, unlike the other powers, this power is not affected by vertical controls, since it is not an elected power. Before the creation of the CNJ, the Judiciary did not have an effective control over its performance. The CNJ is an administrative and disciplinary control body of the Judiciary. It is discussed in the research if the CNJ exercises a horizontal accountability role and if with its creation the Judiciary reached an adequate degree of accountability.

This dissertation presents a study of the themes of nature and grace in C. S. Lewis' novel The Great Divorce. The first chapter introduces the theories of Mikhail Bakhtin, Julia Kristeva and C. S. Lewis concerning the relation between texts. From that theoretical foundation, the second chapter studies descriptions of the afterlife in the works Lewis borrows from most in The Great Divorce: Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy and Valdemar Thisted's Letters From Hell, and observes the way in which Lewis integrates these intertexts into his novel. Finally, in the last two chapters the dissertation examines different characters from The Great Divorce and the way in which they act out different aspects of human nature or divine grace, in order to determine Lewis' position as to the relation between nature and grace and his concept of salvation.

This work is about the trajectory of the arrival of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brazil, during its first stage of establishment, in a more specific way, until the year of 1941. Its starting in the state of Santa Catarina took place in the city of Joinville German colony and later, working together with the Lippelt family. This work describes the development of German immigration in the state of Santa Catarina. It will be analysed the appearing of the first cities, which will be the target of proselytizing work by Missionary Mormons and the establishment of the immigrant families in the founded colonies by the Brazilian government as well as by private enterprise, as it is the case of the cities of Joinville and Blumenau. The colonies had the goal of populating the Middle-West of Santa Catarina in order to protect the dominance of the Brazilian territory, which had been formerly required by Argentina, as well as protecting the territory of Santa Catarina and Paraná. This work also analyses the conflicts aroused by the construction of the São Paulo-Rio Grande EFSPRG railway and the benefits that it brought. The immigrants arrived through this railway, means of transport also used by Missionary Mormons for the settlement of the Church in the Middle-West of Santa Catarina. The family Lippelt, pioneer of the Church, is discussed as an important link for the establishment of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brazil in the region of Ipoméia, district of Rio das Antas SC.
