Influence of vegetation on thermal and urban comfort in a municipality in the south of Tocantins
The urban environment must be a place where user comfort is achieved. In many cases, however, urban environments do not offer adequate conditions of comfort, be it thermal, acoustic, luminous or visual. The city itself is a major climate change, due to the large paved areas and the decrease in green spaces, the air layer in urban areas tends to be warmer than in rural areas. In addition, the human activity developed in cities generates profound changes in the local climate, which can also alter the temperature and rainfall in the region in this way. The objective of this research was to evaluate the influence of urban vegetation on the temperature and relative humidity of the air. in the municipality of Gurupi in order to awaken the possibility of proposing urban projects and constructions using wooded areas. For analysis and comparison of the influence of vegetation on the aspects of thermal comfort / temperature and air humidity, the measurements will be carried out in five areas in the central region of the municipality of Gurupi-TO, for data collection, a digital thermometer will be used. collection of environmental parameters of temperature and relative humidity of the air. As for the relative humidity values, area 01 showed an average of 36%, area 2, average humidity in 34%, in area 3, the average was 34%, in area 4 averages 38% and in area 5 averages of 40%. The results allow to assist the planning of the city of Gurupi, which can be adopted for proposing urban spaces with a higher quality of life for the population.

Gestational syphilis: an epidemiological study in Northeastern Brazil
This study aimed to assess the incidence of reported cases of women infected with syphilis during pregnancy and who lived in the Northeast region of Brazil, in the period 2013-2020. It was an epidemiological, cross-sectional and descriptive research that used data obtained from the Notifiable Disclosure Information System (Sistema de Informação de Agravo de Notificação), available on the electronic platform of the Informatics Department of the Unified Health System (Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde). Between 2013 and 2020, 63,908 cases of gestational syphilis were reported in the Northeast region of the country, with 2018 having the highest number of cases. It was found that syphilis had a higher number in young pregnant women, between 20-29 years old, brown in color and with low education, which revealed that the disease affects mainly the most vulnerable populations, with reduced access to health, education and information. The lower occurrence happened to women ager over 40, indigenous and yellow skin women and those with higher graduation degree. The Ministry of Health has been evolving in the control of gestational syphilis, creating strategies to strengthen health care networks, and this commitment is perceived from the year 2019, with the significant drop in notifications compared to previous years. And this effort needs to be maintained, with the help of the entire population, so that not only the Northeast region, but the whole of Brazil is able to control and increasingly reduce the incidence of this disease in pregnant women.

Comparison of methodologies for determining the thermal performance of houses with a concrete wall-type structural system
The thermal performance of a building is an important factor in homes when it is concerned with offering the user the thermal comfort that the user is entitled to have. A building must be designed for the climate in which it is inserted in order to have a greater potential in providing thermal comfort, and still save energy. This work aimed to evaluate the thermal performance, according to the guidelines of the Brazilian Performance Standard NBR 15575 of a single-family building located in the city of Águas Belas-PE, Brazil. The evaluation of thermal performance was performed through two procedures present in NBR 15575: the simplified procedure and the computational simulation. As a methodology, an exploratory research and a case study were carried out. The evaluation through the simplified method was given by calculations of thermal transmittance and thermal capacity of the building envelope, that is, of the facade walls and roof. The computational simulation was performed using the EnergyPlus program, which with climatic information and a three-dimensional model of the building was able to test the climatic conditions on the building and determine its thermal behavior. The results obtained through the analysis by the two procedures previously mentioned were compared and analyzed according to the requirements of NBR 15575, were small divergences between them was noted. Computer simulation proved to be more effective when compared to the simplified procedure.

The importance of Physiotherapeutic care in palliative care in cancer patients
The malignant neoplasm that is defined as cancer is a pathology with characteristics of uncontrolled cell enlargement that triggers an accumulation of malignant cells. Palliative care requires intervention in the care of patients in early, advanced or terminal stages, stimulating a process of easing or controlling the signs and symptoms. In this context, the role of the physiotherapist is to act in a complementary way to palliative treatment, with the aim of improving the individual's recovery, restoring the functions of different parts of the body. The objective of this work is to discuss the importance of physical therapy intervention in oncology, with a focus on palliative care. Refers to a narrative literature review. For this article, manual searches were made on the Google Scholar platform and selected articles related to the theme. From the data presented, the role of physical therapy intervention is related to rehabilitation in all stages of the disease, in which pain is the most relevant occurrence causing great discomfort to the patient. Physiotherapy is an important area in the treatment of terminally ill patients, rehabilitating the motor condition and, therefore, inserting this individual in the resumption of functional independence. Finally, studies prove that physiotherapy has an important role in palliative care, however, definitions of care for palliative patients are necessary to be propagated among physiotherapists and research is necessary for a good professional improvement.

Soil Chemical attributes under different management systems in Cerrado-Amazon ecotone
The Cerrado-Amazonas ecotone occupies 4.85% of the Brazilian territory, with almost 60% of its area deforested. Inadequate soil management practices cause changes in the physical, chemical and biological soil attributes. This study aimed to characterize soil chemistry in different management systems, identifying its efficiency. Ten areas were divided into two soil classes (Ultisol and Entisol quartzipsamment), each comprising a management system (1 - silvopastoral with 30% shade (SP30), 2 - silvopastoral with 60% shade (SP60), 3 - secondary forest, 4 - native forest, 5 – pasture conventional (CP)). The samples were collected at depths of 0-10, 10-20 and 20-40 cm. The chemical attributes of the soil analyzed were pH, P, K +, Ca2 +, Mg2 +, H + Al3 +, Al3 +, sum of bases (SB), effective cation exchange capacity (CEC), CEC at pH 7, saturation base (V%) and aluminum saturation (m%). The data were submitted to principal component analysis and analysis of variance and Tukey's test (p <0.05). There were minor changes in the attributes analyzed in the Entisol management systems, comparing the other systems with the reference system (native forest); however, SP30 was more suitable, as it increased the pH and the values of essential cations in the soil. In Ultisol, the SP60 and CP systems showed higher averages in the studied attributes, it is inferred that these systems have similar efficiency in land use, positioning them as the best systems studied in this soil class.

Vegetable coverings in the off-season of crops affecting the weed seed bank
The present work is based on the hypothesis that the cultivation of different vegetation coverings could suppress the weed seed bank, in addition to improving soil conditions and increasing productivity. The objective of this work was to evaluate the weed seed bank with different vegetation cover. The experimental design used was in randomized blocks with nine treatments and four replications. The treatments consisted of vegetable coverings: crotalaria (Crotalaria juncea), millet (Pennisetum americanum), forage turnip (Raphanus sativus), sorghum (Sorghum bicolor), Urochloa brizantha, U. piatã, U. ruziziensis, seed mixture (forage turnip + millet) and fallow. The germinative flow of weeds was evaluated from soil samples, taken from the areas where the treatments were sown and taken to the greenhouse, where the quantification and identification of germinated weed seeds was carried out. The families Asteraceae, Convolvulaceae and Fabaceae stood out with the highest number of vegetation coverings. The use of plant coverings reduces the emergence of weeds from the seed bank. The turnip, turnip + millet and U. piatã coverings were the ones that most reduced the germination flow of weeds, while fallow, crotalaria and Urochloa ruziziensis had less capacity to reduce this flow.

Evolution between forestry education and timber education: Definitions, formations, chronologies and perspectives
The first forestry schools were created in the Western Europe in the mid-eighteenth Century. In the late of 19th Century, Forest Education was structured to intervene in forestry ecosystems and ensure the sustainable management of their resources. Thus, forestry chain advanced in the quest for higher value and quality solutions. In the early of 20th Century, Timber Education was designed to approach the wood and its processing. Then, this paper aimed to examine, in the global and Brazilian scenarios, Forest Education and Timber Education to understand their features, chronologies and perspectives. Broad consultations in the websites of universities and scientific literature were carried out to ensure the necessary information to support discussions. Forest and Timber Education undergraduate courses have been titled by different designations, where generalist nomenclatures are frequent in the forestry areas and more specific names are common in the wood fields. The Forestry Education initiated in Europe and spread across the world over two centuries, arising in Brazil in the middle of the 20th Century. From modern industry technologies, the Timber Education was developed in the Northern Hemisphere, and it spread globally over a century until its insertion in Brazil at the end of the 20th Century. A student decline has been globally observed in these careers, reasons why new stimuli and policies are required by a society eager for sustainable bioproducts and genuinely concerned about environmental issues.
