Psychoanalysis, labour and social bound
Although Sigmund Freud himself had already emphasized the importance of labour as a source of satisfaction to the libido, many analysts still ignore the relevance of studying this particular theme. In this article, we intend to explore the questions on work and labour, discussing Jacques Lacan’ s theory of the four discourses and reviewing the contributions of some authors in social sciences.

Experiences on time for work and leisure
This article results from an exploratory study about work and leisure. Its objectives were to check how workers with higher education assess the quantitative distribution of their time and also to analyze how they assess the quality of the experiences they come across during both their work and free time. A questionnaire was used with 62 postgraduate-level students who are active workers. The data was analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The main results indicate negative assessment on time distribution for work and leisure and on the quality of the experiences lived in each of these moments although the experiences which happened during leisure time were more valued by the subjects. The conclusion was that it is important that leisure, as part of a whole human experience, be redefined in the workers’ lives, and that they relearn how to live their lives in a slower, lighter, and more meaningful way.

No ordinary rules. More on organizational behaviour: a discussion on forms and hibrydisms of post-bureaucratic organizations
The topics discussed in this contribution are founded on two basic assumptions; the first considers a complex organization as a social subsystem in which all the specific characteristics of the “macrosystem” may be found. The second (consequential to the first) favours the interpretation of “organization-as-culture” (or as a sociocultural system). Assuming what has been said above, then, it follows (and this is the sense of this essay) that complex organizations, in as much as they are sociocultural (sub)systems, cannot be considered, perhaps today more than in the past, systems impervious to the sociocultural world of which they are a part, or in other words, it is not possible to speak of a culture of organizations as if it were a unique, coherent system of models and values: the plurality of cultural influences present in the highly differentiated contemporary societies is reflected also on the situations inside these organizations.

Subjective well-being and compromise with the faculty career: examining their relations
The changes faced by the university education in Brazil take place simultaneously with those occurred on a broader view in the world of work, especially regarding the occupation of faculty members as units of important analysis for investigations in the arena of organizational and work psychology. Studies addressing compromise with work highlight the relation with the career as a focus of continuous growing significance in the lives of individuals, which work environments are becoming increasingly uncertain and mutant. This objective of this study was to examine the associations between compromise with career and subjective well-being among faculty members. For such purpose the author carried out a quantitative cross survey using self-applicable closed-type questionnaires responded by 551 teachers throughout the national territory. The main results include the high level of compromise with the career, as well as a positive and significant correlation between the compromise and the subjective well-being of faculty members, thus confirming the trends reported by the international literature and broadening the possibilities of associations between the compromise and non-work variables. Intensive and qualitative studies are recommended in order to understand the meaning of these associations and how those two variables are correlated.

Career paths: narratives of human resources professionals
The idea that the career consists of a linear trajectory structured by the company has been changing to a new reality in which the career is seen as a journey, open to possibilities and uncertainties. Several models have emerged in an attempt to understand this journey, among these, the model of career narrative, which assumes that, while narrating, individuals give meaning to their trajectory. The present study aimed to investigate the career trajectory of human resource professionals working in the Greater Natal. For this purpose, the model of career narrative was used. From the methodological viewpoint, the project was divided in two stages. The first was characterized by conducting a survey through the application of a semi-structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and analysis of clusters included 117 participants. The second stage was characterized by the completion of 17 narrative interviews. In reviewing the results, we found that the identification with the activity is a decisive factor for choosing and remaining in the HR field. The lack of recognition appears as the main difficulty faced by professionals. The analysis leads to discussions about the career path in HR and reflections for the category, representative bodies and educational institutions.

Understanding youth prolongation: explanations from the experiences of young people from Brazil and Spain
This paper aims to understand how young people explain the phenomenon of youth prolongation from their own experiences and their evaluation of the social and historical context in which they are inserted. A qualitative research with a cross-sectional design was developed with people aged 25-29 years old from Brazil and Spain. Individual in-depth and semi-structured interviews were conducted with men and women in both countries, totaling 50 respondents. The interviews were recorded and transcribed, organized and categorized with Atlas-ti® software and analyzed through semantic content analysis. The analysis makes it evident that the interviewees highlighted two different explanation models that refer to extrinsic and intrinsic aspects. The formers refer to the economic crisis and the difficulties in labor insertion of young people, the increase in life expectancy, the social permission and encouragement of the family to carry on with a young life, and the influence of the media in this same direction. The intrinsic explanations would be characterized by value changes-linked to the priority given to financial aspects and professional life-and the growing appreciation of a hedonistic ethics observed among young people.

Labor precariousness, race and gender: brazilian women immigrants and the portuguese labor market
The main objective of this dissertation is to investigate work’s centrality on Brazilian women’s entrance in the Portuguese labor market. Two principal axes support the analysis: the current labor market transformation and the feminization of the immigration flow. The recent global geopolitical transformations resulted, inter alia, in the increase of economic inequality among countries, the restructuring of the modes of production, the intensification of the labor precarization process, to the decentralization of the production and to the opening of domestic economies to an international market, directly affecting the international flow of migration. Based on this transformation and its impact on labor, this study examines the immigration of Brazilian women and its relation to the Portuguese labor market. Regarding methodology, a qualitative approach was chosen, and 21 in-depth interviews were carried out with Brazilian women, from 25 to 35 years old, who work or used to work in Portugal. The Critical Discourse Analysis was used to analyze these interviews, as discourse analysis allows access to symbolical structures that forge and frame everyday life. The understanding of the process of discourse formation took priority over interpretation.

Brazilian education: the complexity and polysemy of its contemporary destinations
Contemporary studies on Brazilian Education demonstrate how much the interpenetration of multiple fields of knowledge became feasible as a resource increasingly needed to account for the complexity of the study of its object. And this is motivated by the paths of Education itself, in view of all the theoretical and methodological progress it has made in modernity and in our day. Because of these, it can no longer be understood except as a dialectical process which must both take into account the historical-social and material bases of its conditions, but also can not forget the singular dimensions that permeate the constitution of the subject of pro- learning process. Subjectivity refers to the formation of the conscious activities involved in the apprehension of the real at stake in the process - including ideological formations - as well as that which refers us to the work of the unconscious. The collection "Brazilian Education: prumos "is a living example of this state of the production of knowledge about the educational reality of our country at the present moment, such is the diversity of subjects and disciplines of the most diverse as of cultural practices and, even lay, that inform us about the relevance of the efforts to delimit what is the task of all: the aforementioned directions and the prognoses of our Education.

Work satisfaction among truck drivers: a comparative study of self-employed and employees
The aim of this study was to analyze the work satisfaction of independent truck drivers and employees of carriers. It is understood that job satisfaction is essential to improving the quality of life for professionals who spend much of their time outside the home and in natural conditions. We interviewed 342 drivers in various states of Brazil, with a mean age of 44 years (SD 10.88), and more than half with only primary education. The results show a strong influence of loading demand and employment contract with companies for the best satisfaction. Drivers report great dissatisfaction with the work, which includes basic conditions (health and safety) issues marked (offering loads, waiting time in queues). An ethic to serve the subject
This paper aims at discussing the fundaments of psychoanalysis, in order to give an overview of how the psychoanalyst operates in his/her practice, thus delineating what is known as a clinic of desire – the traditional device of psychoanalysis, seeking to understand the way in which the analytical device operates with the subject under analysis, as well as, envision possible scopes and limitations of this métier. To do so, we will also discuss, briefly, the formation of the subject with which psychoanalysis exerts its clinical work, understanding that this subject is, for psychoanalysis, built. Thus, it is pertinent to conduct a reflection, in the form of a critical analysis, both from a cultural perspective, as taking the psychoanalytic framework of the theoretical, technical and practical point of view, in order to understand what some authors have discussed about the position taken by the subject in contemporary times, as well as by the psychoanalyst facing the conflicts that this subject brings to his/her clinic. In this sense, texts of Freud and Lacan, who contributed to build this same theoretical framework were used. As well as texts of secondary references, commentators who explore and clarify themes and concepts developed by Freud and Lacan throughout their theoretical constructs.
