This study has as purpose to know what is the meaning of work and its organization for urban transportation drivers. In addition, it is intended to identify how the drivers understand and relate experiences of pleasure and pain to the work and the Organization of their work, as well as verify the effects produced by work in the lives of drivers, in the same perspective. The theoretical reference used in this research was the Psychodynamics of the Work. The research has been carried out through a qualitative approach, descriptive-exploratory character. As Collection instruments were achieved observations in working environments used by drivers, such as bus terminals, in the lines and at the company. After the selection of participants was completed along with the subjects of the survey a questionnaire of personal and professional data that had as its purpose to assist in the understanding of the information obtained. On the sequence the media conference was used as the main instrument of data collection. The Content analysis was used and the project answered the 466/12 Resolution of the National Council of health. As results showed that the work of these drivers is loaded with multiple meanings, among them include the providing financial support, like what you do, the profession of driver to be present in different generations of his family, the possibility to be near family, combining the personal and professional lives, and have a goal and people that depend on this service. The experiences of pleasure and pain related to work were understood through three categories, namely the relationship network of the driver, the satisfaction and recognitionat work and the relationship personal life and work. Referring to the work organization related experiences, it was realized that this is hard, with overcharging on some working procedures and often with the lack of knowledge and experience of who carries out these collections. These data can assist in planning strategies that contribute to the construction of a health promoter work every day for these workers.

The experience of sexuality during adolescence is considered a normative aspect of adolescence marked by the influence of biological, familial and cultural aspects that will be the pattern of sexual identity and sexual behavior of adolescents. However, many adolescents do not have adequate knowledge and skills to implement safe sexual behavior may lead them to engage in sexual behaviors that create risk to their health. These behaviors are considered risky, and can lead adolescents to have an unwanted pregnancy or getting a sexually transmitted disease. National and international studies identified factors that may influence the development of these behaviors in sexual initiation and management of contraception. The age and education can act as protective factors related to delay of first sexual intercourse. Gender have a strong influence, especially in the management of contraception along with parental support. These factors can influence the choice of contraceptive method used in subsequent sex initiation. Observed few national studies with a focus on relationships between parental support and sexual risk behaviors in adolescents. To address the proposed objectives, this dissertation presents itself divided into two articles. In the first study, a systematic review of literature on sexual risk behavior from national studies were conducted. In the second study, we investigate possible relationships between parental support and sexual risk behaviors and other factors that could be exerting influence these behaviors, in adolescents in public schools. Participated in this study 508 students from elementary and secondary education in public schools in a city in the central region of Rio Grande do Sul. We used to collect data the Brazilian Questionare Phase II which investigating risk and protective factors in adolescents. The adolescents have their first sexual intercourse at about fourteen years old, with a steady partner. During the management of contraception it was found a decrease in the consistent use of condoms during sexual intercourse, particularly by girls who start using the pill as a contraceptive method. These data call attention to the fact that adolescents are preventing themselves from pregnancy and not STDs.

This master s dissertation comes to meet with our concerns about how is the phenomenon of adherence to brands in behalf of other social valuations traditionally accepted and anchored in the personal skills to interact with their peers than by dictates artificially constructed. We un-derstand that to achieve this goal is to start from a historicity of how a brand is does exist for both chose Network Fast Food McDonald's because of it being positioned as a leading pro-vider of the world's food and have about seventy years of existence. To build our theoretical model we rely primarily on the teachings of psychoanalytic Winnicott and Melanie Klein for the initial training of the human psyche. The present study aimed to assess whether there is an association of Early Maladaptive Schemas (EMS) in acute Axis I disorders in a mixed clinical population of 21 women and 10 men, aged between 18 and 57 years. For this purpose, two evaluation instruments were used: the Young Schema Questionnaire - Short version (YSQ-S3) and the MINI diagnostic interview Plus Version 5.0.0. For this method, cross-sectional descriptive study with a quantitative approach was performed. The sample allowed us to evaluate the association of EMS with the diagnostic category of anxiety, mood, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and comorbid panic disorder with agoraphobia and GAD. After collecting data, the data were subjected to statistical analyzes, performed by Fisher's exact test procedures. The results were the significance p 043 Subjugation of the EID for the group of anxiety disorders and a significance p 048 second schematic Domain - Autonomy and impaired performance for comorbid panic disorder with agoraphobia and GAD, compared to other diagnostic found in studies of anxiety. No associations of EMS for bipolarity GAD and mood disorders were found. The current literature indicates that the Schema Theory has been applied most often to personality disorders, however the stability of Early Maladaptive Schemas combine as a vulnerability factor for mood disorders and anxiety. Therefore, Schema Therapy has shown relevance for acute disorders, especially among the more chronic cases of mood and anxiety disorders, which have high levels of EMS. Research is needed to strengthen this assertion and better identify cases that may benefit most.

This project aims to understand and analyze the narratives of one of the empowerment women groups of the 4th edition of the extension project "Sexual and reproductive rights: talking about Health", focusing on representations about "the experience of the passage of time" for women in present time. This research is a ramification of a project entitled "Sexual and Reproductive Women s Health: The Group as a Device", linked to the Research Group "Health, Social Minorities and Communication". It is configured as intervention-research, in which one of the researchers acts as mediator/observer in this group. For the analysis of the qualitative information was used the clinical listening, working with the floating attention, to identify the characteristics of speech, noted the peripheral elements and the characteristics of argument. The interpretation of the set of information was built from the Critical Social Psychology, establishing a dialogue with the Gender /Feminist Studies, Group Psychology and Psychoanalysis.

The Associação de Familiares, Amigos e Bipolares (AFAB) (Association of Family, Friends and Bipolars) is an extension project of the Federal University of Santa Maria/RS. AFAB was founded in 1997 as a nonprofit association that has as main objective to offer people with Bipolar Mood Disorder and their families a complementary therapeutic approach to the clinical treatment, which includes psychological, educational, cultural, family and social aspects with the aim of rehabilitating its participants psychosocially through comprehensive care. This qualitative study sought to understand the role of AFAB in the treatment and course of life of its members. Semi-structured interviews were performed with patients and their families and were analyzed using the method of categorical thematic content analysis. The benchmarks used were the pedagogical theories of Paulo Freire, the principles and guidelines of the National Humanization Policy, the model of health education through psychoeducation, and the prospects for empowerment of individuals. We analyzed three main issues of the interviews i) AFAB, history and meanings; ii) Bipolar Mood Disorder and its impact, and iii) Psychoeducation: health education and autonomy/citizenship. Based on these issues we inferred various categories that showed an influence of AFAB in improved self-esteem and quality of life of participants as well as an increase in their capacity for autonomy and empowerment. Furthermore, we observed an important role of AFAB in the learning process of its members, not only regarding health education to increase adherence to treatment, but also the development of skills that enabled a greater social impact and an improved worldview of their members.

This Master Dissertation provides a discussion about subjectivity production, collaborative inventions and cyber activism in neoliberal capitalist and network society. It aims to analyze how subjectivities are built on and configured in the production of discourses on collaborative social spaces in the network society. For this purpose, the research is organized in the form of three articles, intending to (a) construct a methodological pathway that enables an approach to collaborative production, (b) reflect on what collaborative inventions propose in their productions and how they arrange collectively the collaborative inventions and (c) provide a reflection on the knowledge that compose and produce cyber activism. This qualitative research has its reflections based on Critical Social Psychology, but dialogs with other theoretical approaches, such as the phenomenological tradition and hermeneutics, whose epistemological assumptions underpin the reflections developed in the first article, and the philosophy of difference, which provides important concepts for the development of the two following articles. Participant observation and focus groups were proposed as method. This discussions and reflections lead to consider that collaborative productions work and in network and provide resistance and invention processes in search of social transformation.

Surgery is an experience that brings uncomfortable examinations and discomfort and can often become an incomprehensible and traumatic experience. In the case of pediatric surgery, there is a belief that children are not always in a position to understand and deal with what surgery encompasses, considering that their psychic apparatus is still being formed. These procedures are, obviously, accompanied by numerous fantasies in an attempt to defense themselves and recover emotional balance to be able to face the situation. Therefore, this was a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study to investigate children s fantasies the day before surgery, in psychoanalytic theory. Seven children were included, of both sexes, five to twelve years old, admitted in a public hospital for surgery during 2014. Play Time and Fables Test were used as instruments. The implementation of the instruments was performed in a single moment, recorded, transcribed verbatim and the data was then passed through content analysis. The participants expressed the perception of themselves as defective and possessed feelings of fragility, helplessness and had many fears. The presence of frightening and elaborative fantasies was identified as a defense attempt and a way of making sense of surgical experience. It was concluded that the fantasies had a paradoxical role; that is, even if they constituted a regressive defense, they proved to be protective structure and helped to make sense of the surgical experience.

This study aimed to understand the meanings of people submitted to limb amputation surgery attributed to body change process, based on the psychoanalytic theory. For that, we sought identify the specifically relation between amputation surgery and narcissism, as well as describe how is the articulation of this procedure and the body image. To activate the objectives, we choose qualitative research, with descriptive and exploratory approach. For data collection was used semi-structured interviews with 9 people who did limb amputation surgery and had medical monitoring in a Rio Grande do Sul s public hospital. The data collected were analysed by Bardin s Content Analysis and, all that were in agreement of this technique were listed in 5 repetition categories, showed in the results of this study. It was found that limb amputation was a traumatic event for the interviewed people, motivating an abrupt break in their symbolic constructive base, threatening them. This threat reflected directly in body image and narcissism, and they needed a grief process for the lost member and the body image that they had until that moment in order that happen the new body reintegration process. This grief process was essential for building new body s auto image, that is a basis for the narcissist action of body unification. Although, the grief process that isn t satisfactory is harmful for the restructuration self-image process, and can turn this process like a dead of the limb amputated. Then, this study concluded that limb amputation people can reframe your body even with the absence of a member and experience the potential and possibilities that this body still has.
