I still have a right from an ancestor of that color: struggles of the Brazilian quilombola population
This article aims to approximate original and contemporary quilombos, trying to understand their organization and struggles agenda. Through Marxist authors recognized in the analysis of the Brazilian historical-social development such as Caio Prado Júnior (1907-1990), Jacob Gorender (1923-2013) and Clóvis Moura (1925-2003), the intention of this article is to discuss the meaning of slavery and how the quilombos organize themselves as a predominant collective form of resistance. The conclusion presents the level of racism present in Brazilian society, which operates to hide the instruments of struggle of the black people and how this had impacted today’s Brazilian working class. Bibliographical reviews were carried out to systematize the knowledge of the authors on the subject.

Articulations between Marxism and Feminism: Yesterday and Today
This article introduces the analyzes of three feminist authors that approach the relation between production and reproduction, in the perspective of historical materialism. The articulation of the feminist and the Marxist perspectives in the authors used for this study, allows to visualize the relations between class and gender, and even more significantly, the intersection of different spheres of social life. The study is a theoretical research structured in four parts: in the first three, the contribution of each of the authors is briefly exposed and, at the end, some of their interpretations are discussed based on a Lukacsian perspective of historical materialism. The aim of the discussion is to strengthen the connection between feminism and Marxism, relying on the radical potential of this encounter at the theoretical and political level.
Anti-racist struggle, unity and transformation: a theoretical essay
This essay reflects on the debate about race and class in Brazil, starting from the analysis of the central hypothesis that this debate is still rooted in a supposed impossibility that race and class form a unit. This old-fashioned idea, however, appears as a form of legitimation of the bourgeois ideology and expresses the real fragmentation of the working class as whole. In this sense, its progress involves a collective effort of mobilization and systematic organization and union between antiracist struggle and the fight against all forms of exploitation and oppression of class societies, that are observed in reality.

Gender diversity in patriarchal capitalist sociability: trans identities in perspective
Based on a feminist and critical-dialectical perspective, this article is the result of a theoretical research and seeks to situate the field of gender diversity in the totality of social relations, highlighting the relations of class and gender. The article discusses the centrality of work from a bibliographical review on the ontology of labor and its new social determinations by the capitalist mode of production, exposing fundamentals of capitalism and reflecting on the symbiosis between capitalism-patriarchy-racism that structures Brazilian social relations based on the work of Heleieth Saffioti. This study develops a Marxist reflection on trans issues using the Marxist view on the research on gender diversity, which are guided by the culturalist and poststructuralist theories. At the same time, we seek to insert the debate on trans identities in Marxist studies.
GP Brazil Formula 1: a sport mega event and its relationship with the city of São Paulo
The theme of sports mega events has gained wide discussion in the national political and sports scene in the last decade. Sports events attract large numbers of visitors and promote the sale of large amounts of tickets; have international media coverage and relevance; require a large investment by the organizers, represented by governmental entities together with non-governmental entities; generate significant economic activity for host cities. Through a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research, these characteristics were analyzed and concluded that the Brazil GP is classified as a sport mega event. This study also demonstrates that hosting a sports mega event should be part of an efficient planning aimed at real benefits for the population of the host cities. An event that occurs consecutively, for several years, in the same place, is better able to generate an identification with its host city, facilitating the development of these possible benefits.

Learning constraints within communities of practice of mathematics teachers
The main goal of this paper is to investigate the contextual elements of Communities of Practice (CoPs) of elementary and secondary school Mathematics Teachers that offer learning opportunities to teachers who participate in them. The analysis, supported by the Grounded Theory, cover papers, theses and dissertations whose findings are associated to events highlighted within CoP. The overall findings offer a framework of teachers' learning career, from the following conditions: (i) engagement of roaming; (ii) repertoires sharing; (iii) joint commitment; (iv) dynamics of group/community; (v) shared and supported reflections; (vi) relationship of confidence and respect; (vii) vulnerability spaces and mediated agency; and (viii) dynamic nature of the expert and role of the trainer(s). In these terms, the findings suggest recognizing the Communities of Practice as a privileged environment for professional development of elementary and secondary school Mathematics teachers.

Teaching in early childhood education: origins of women professional constitution
This work aims to present a set of studies which the main goal is to analyze the definition of teaching in Early Childhood Education and also the conceptual construction about the specificities of the role on the issue of teaching in childhood. The study about the professionals of Early Childhood Education, their roles, educational action and the differences among professionals in the education of the children was inaugurated especially with Cerisara (1996) and Sayão (2005) who, in their theses, dealt with the contradictions between women and professionals, the identity of the teachers and the notions of gender involved in the functions and in the relations of work next to the small children. The concern in understanding the bases of this profession, its identity and gender, is allied to the concerns with historical origins of this teaching. In this way, the studies of Rock (2012) and Batista (2013) broaden the focus of the research about professionalization for the emergency of teaching, generating new critical questionnaires and investigations about the historical process that constitutes the teaching in Early Childhood Education.

Written production analysis of higher education students: a semiotic approach
In this paper we present results of a research developed with students of Chemistry Degree in a discipline of Differential and Integral Calculus 1 whose objective was to analyze as written productions, through the signs produced in activities that deal with functions defined by more than one sentence. Thus, theoretical references dealing with semiotics as a science of signs and reflections on the Written Production Analysis in Mathematics have subsidized our qualitative and interpretative analysis. As analyzed activities were solved in the classroom and composed, along with other issues, one of the three tests developed during the semester (semester regime) and proposals at the end of the study of a block of contents. The test whose activities were analyzed was the first to be, made by the students and evaluated, also, the study of limits and continuity. The notes we generate have as a premise the written signs produced in student resolutions, in which we could know, as well as identify some weaknesses as to knowledge about the functions defined by more than one sentence.

Gender, sex and sexuality in early childhood education: what the documents of the municipal network of Florianopolis say
The present text is a of a research, at the level of specialization, which had the problem and objective to locate, in the documents of the Municipal Network of Education of Florianopolis, conceptions regarding gender, sex and sexuality. To achieve this goal, the methodology used was qualitative documentary research in selected documents: a) National Curricular Guidelines for Early Childhood Education (2009); b) Curricular Guidelines for Early Childhood Education of the Municipal Education Network of Florianopolis (2012); c) Infant Education Curriculum of the Municipal Education Network of Florianopolis (2015). For the analyses, we used the Content Analysis Technique to locate the presence and / or absence of the keywords selected for the search in the documents: children, girls, boys, diversity, gender, sex, sexuality, masculine, feminine, masculinity, femininity, woman and man. For the analyses of the theoretical references of studies on gender and sexuality, especially those dealing with this issue in educational contexts were rescued. The analyses indicate that some of these words are used to universalize a given subject, others are not contained in some documents, and others are reducing their use from one document to another. What is evident is that the use of words is not neutral and reveals conceptions and reproduces stereotypes.

Gender stereotypes and linguistic sexism present in books in educational context for children
In Italy, since the 1970s, there has been a significant debate on the studies on linguistic sexism that have contributed to the problematization of the presence of gender stereotypes in children's literature. This article presents a historical reconstruction of the debate developed in Italy in the last forty years. The debate showed the importance of problematizing the patterns of identity and behavior transmitted through reading in educational contexts for children. This context also led to the drafting of the Polite Project, which invites editors to be respectful with gender differences, both text and images. It presents important research on the problem of the presence of stereotyped messages of gender present in books for children and the changes that have occurred throughout this process.

The spatial dimension of children´s sociabilities: analysis of the interactions between girls and boys in the bathrooms of child educations
In this work, we will discuss the gender relations that permeate the organization and use of the bathrooms of an institution of Early Childhood Education, through the different uses and appropriations that girls and boys daily make of these spaces. Considering that bathrooms are spaces of symbolic high density for the investigation of gender relations and sexuality, we will question the power relations present in these manifestations. The empirical scope that integrates this reflection is based on an ethnography carried out in an institution located in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. The results indicate a spatialization process from a gender perspective, showing how space is an important element of children's control, based on adult logic and based on power structures. We identify a profitable interaction of children with the spaces of the bathrooms, in an intense movement of collective construction of strategies to circumvent and subvert the binary and dichotomous logic according to which these spaces are structured.

Remarks on Ludwig Wittgenstein’s Whole aim in his way of doing Philosophy
In The Principles of Mechanics, physicist Heinrich Hertz argues that instead of replying to the question “what is force?” like physicists and philosophers had been doing unsuccessfully, Newtonian physics should be reformulated without considering “force” a basic concept. Decades after Hertz’s book, Ludwig Wittgenstein considered the physicist’s proposal a perfect model for how philosophical problems should be solved, to the point that he made it the foundation of his way of doing philosophy. This article addresses Wittgenstein’s way of doing philosophy, while it also proposes the reason why he failed in solving the philosophical problems — as did Hertz in his project on reformulating Newtonian physics without considering the concept “force”. And to illustrate Wittgenstein’s failure, it examines his disputes with mathematicians Kurt Gödel and Alan Turing on the foundations of mathematics.

What do children think about family and gender relations?
The paper explores children’s representations about family and gender relations. This is a new treatment of data elaborated by Gibim (2017) with children who attend Early Childhood Education. From children's drawings and narratives, it was possible to capture gender stereotypes from a society built on patriarchal bases, which reflected in intrafamilial practices that involve children. It deals with transformations in the domestic unit, mainly due to the emergence of different family dynamics and a female repositioning resulting from the exhaustion of the traditional conjugal model. In this context, Early Childhood Education arises in the sharing of education and care with families, promoting the redefinition of parental roles in the construction of social contexts free of prejudice.
