Heteronormative dilemmas of femininity in copies of Playboy magazine where athletes are represented
This text aims the heteronormative dilemmas between the masculine and feminine identities, lived by fourteen women athletes who posed naked in the Playboy Magazine during the years of 1988 and 2012, bearing the argument of which these questions confront the feminine heteronormativity from esthetic and political tensions of gender and sexuality. It was a qualitative study which took a media product as an empirical field analyzed under the post-structural bias. As a result, it is possible to realize that the speech of these magazines carries out the political role of re-putting the feminine athletic body to the aegis of the feminine heteronormativity.

Submerged Citizenship. Domestic Labor in Italy from the 19th to the 20th century century
The paper discusses the history of domestic labor as invisible citizenship, making it a great contradiction within the bourgeois juridical order that was consolidated around the notion of the individual as a subject of rights: a society organized around the idea of equality between citizens defined as property owner, and where – at least in theory – there was no place for servitude of any kind. Thanks to the clear separation between family and work, domestic labor in the bourgeois family increasingly became a female prerogative: Labor without rights, still founded on the idea of benevolence, therefore opposed to the idea and the practice of contract. In Italy, legal regulations about domestic work were introduced in 1958, in a context defined by social modernization and “economic miracle”, and by the shrinking offer of domestic labor to the middle class families. Despite its general social decline in the following decades, domestic work had a new surge in the 1990s, associated with care work, and the growing need for assistance for elderly people with special needs. Two problems raised from this new situation, that the Law was only partially capable to see and deal with: on the one side, elderly people solitude and physical vulnerability, and on the other the poverty of the care workers, mostly female, that, facing the incertitude of the future, accept to work outside the legal parameters of the labor laws.

Labour cultures and pilots association in Manaus and Belém (late XIXth)
The river stretch between Belém and Manaus for many years was traversed by native communities and their navigation practices. The pilot is still today the sailor who guides and/or pilots ships of different drafts. From the capitalist push in the region, potentialized by the expansion of steam navigation, the need to compose crews with experienced pilots forced shipowners and commanders to negotiate with inhabitants and their work cultures. In the final years of the nineteenth century, with a greater nautical and port movement, shipping companies began to question the control of these professionals on the labor market and the direction of ships. In the advent of the Republic, the provisional government established a series of criteria that deprive the attention of these sailors. The associative process of thepilots of Manaus and Belém is based on the strength of tradition and the history of solidarity, the revelation of obstacles, political leaders and other social sectors. It was those elements that reinforced the defense of an associativism that went beyond the boundaries delimited by the federation.

Enhancing strategic planning through strategy instruction: the effect of two types of strategy instruction on learners’ oral planned performance
This study aimed at investigating the impact of two types of strategy instruction on Brazilian learners’ planned speech performance at the level of complexity, accuracy, fluency, and adequacy. In order to do so, three groups participated in the present study: (1) the integrated group received strategy instruction during their regular English classes; (2) the isolated group received strategy instruction in a separate course; and (3) the control group received no strategy instruction. The groups also performed two narrative tasks before and after treatment, preceded by 10 minutes of strategic planning. Learners’ oral performance was analyzed and the statistical results showed that (i) the groups that received treatment outperformed the control group; and (ii) the isolated group produced more adequate and accurate speech, while the integrated groups improved their performance in terms of adequacy solely. In conclusion, one can claim that, in spite of the type of treatment, strategic planning can be enhanced by strategy instruction, shedding light on both Language Pedagogy and strategic planning research.

Foreword
In this second issue of the Interthesis Interdisciplinary Journal, we bring you unpublished articles, reviews and even one translation. The article by Gilberto Montibeller leads to a reflection on how the international commercial relationships can generate an ecologically unsustainable situation concerning an environmental social space, presenting the coal region of the state of Santa Catarina as an example. Javier Echeverría discusses critically the progress and the economic development issues, emphasizing the importance of ethics in the analysis of the social and human cost in economy. The contribution of Paulo Krischke raises questions on the current political culture of the Brazilian youth and its likely future changes, based on the data examination of a nationwide research performed by "survey". Daniel Widlöcher makes a cognitive verification of the psychoanalytical silence, taking into account the neuropsychology of the aphasia and the communication ways present in the clinical work of Psychoanalysis, employing for that the theoretical frames of the communication pragmatics. The article by Rodrigo Duarte has, as its starting point, the discovery of an incongruity in the date of construction of a chapel in the state of Minas Gerais, and reflects upon the influence of the culture industry over the countryside Brazilian architecture, characterized by the "kitsch" element. In addition to the articles described above, we still count on five reviews of recently published books, written up by Leandro Oltramari, Carlos Serbena, Cláudia Silveira, Silmara Cimbalista and Clóvis Dorigon. Finally, we present a translation into Portuguese by Selvino Assmann, from an Italian text by Umberto Galimberti, still unpublished in Brazil. We would like to let you know that, from now on, we will be publishing articles only in Portuguese, Spanish and English. We have a great expectancy that the themes presented in the material published here generate reflection and disseminate knowledge. Thank you very much for your interest in our publications and we do hope you can profit from reading them, and can have a good time as well. We will be back in August, 2005! Rafael Raffaelli Editor

The Meaning of Work and the Future bond with the Employee Organization.
The present study examines the association between the meaning of work attributed by employer before joining the organization and the ties (Organizational Commitment, Organizational Entrenchment and Organizational Consent) formed after months of work. It also analyzes the variability of the meaning of work, seeking to know the factors that influence it. For this, a longitudinal study was carried out with workers of different organizations, before their entry in contracting organization, applying a questionnaire containing measures previously validated for the brazilian context. A new data collect was made nine months after the entry. The main results revealed that work is one of the main spheres of life of the individual, being surpassed only by the family. It was found that the meaning of work is a significant element in predicting the future bond established between the individual entering the labor market and the contracting organization.

The Gay Effeminate in Organizations: A Permanent Tension with Heteronormative Standards
In the organizational context, the gay subject is the target of prejudice and situations that put him in a position of embarrassment and vulnerability. In this sense, this article seeks to unveil how effeminate gays are perceived by other gays in an organizational context. In methodological terms, this article has a qualitative character and to produce the corpus of the research nine gay subjects inserted in public and private organizations were interviewed. Regarding the analysis of the corpus, we opted for the critical analysis of the discourse. It was concluded, from the interviews, that the subject who carries traits considered effeminate is understood as someone less capable for work, as well as masculinity is seen as a necessary attribute for the insertion of the individual in the organizational environment.

What can Richard Feynman teach us about the nature of science?
On May 11, 2018, it was celebrated the 100th anniversary of the American physicist Richard Phillips Feynman, winner of the 1965 Nobel Prize in Physics. Besides his contributions to the scientific field, Feynman is known for his activities on teaching and scientific dissemination. In this paper, supported by the textual discursive analysis and the whole science approach to nature of science, we make a critical analysis of the lecture given by Feynman when he received the Nobel Prize. We explore aspects of the conference fostering a contextualized and humanized views on the physicist and his work. In the analysis, we discuss several issues illustrating elements of the nature of science that are relevant to science education, such as the importance of conceptual errors, motivation, controversial positions, and how a prestigious scientist builds a particular version of his scientific work. From studies of this type, it is possible to promote more critical and well-informed views about science for teachers, students, scientists, and the lay public.

Theories of school financial education in the initial years of elementary school: how are they presented in mathematics textbooks?
