The process of semivocalization of lateral fluids in pre-vocalic position: a theoretical revision
The aim of this work is to analyze the process of semivocalization of lateral liquid consonants, prevocalic position through a bibliographic review of the subject. First, these consonants are characterized and justifications for the appearance of the process which make them being released as glides. Afterwards, this phenomenon is discussed in the area of Language Acquisition and the area of Linguistic Variation. Thus, it was taken concepts from Câmara Jr (1953 and 1987), Hernandorena (1988, 1990 and 2001), Azambuja (1998), Silva (2003) e Aragão (1999). Based on these authors, among others, it can be said that, in Language Acquisition, semivocalization is a natural stage of liquids acquisition, due to the articulation complexity of this kind of consonant. In Linguistic Variation, semivocalization involves two processes: despalatalização and iotização, which are referred only to the consonant //. Besides that, in the recent phase of our language, the tendency of some communities is the opposite process of the evolution presented from Latin to Portuguese, i.e., despalatalização and iotização, because, by the principle of economy, those would be typical tendencies to be established, once they promote a facility of articulation.

"Our reality": historiographic problems in the representation of the environment in Brazilian literature
In the early brazilian historiographic tradition, one may notice a certain inclination towards the definition of the rising brazilian national literature through the identification of typical elements which told it apart from the “original” portuguese literature. Redeeming these trend in some of our earliest historiographers, this study aims at picking out echoes from this tension line in the contemporary historiography produced by Alfredo Bosi and Luciana Stegagno Picchio regarding their evaluations of the body of work of Cecilia Meireles and Murilo Mendes, considering that these poets do not fit in perfectly in the “local” or “picturesque” necessities established by the historiographic tradition of which they belong to. Keywords: Historiography; Brazilian poetry; Cecília Meireles; Murilo Mendes

THE TELLER'S VOICE AT THE DETAIL READING IN LITERARY AND FILM TEXTS
This paper accomplishes a study about media languages: it makes a comparative analysis of O Primo Basílio romance fragment, by Eça de Queirós, and its adaptation into the cinema, the homonymous film of the Director Daniel Filho, analyzing the transcodification process from the literary narrative language to the cinematographic language. We aims to accomplish a reading that seeks comprehend the meaning of some primordial factors of the Romanesque structure: the details- the sofa, the divan, the ambient illumination, the objects color – in the romance and in the film. The study will focus the analysis of aspects that help to verify how the configuration of choices in the literary speech was, seen as starting point, and transposed into another configuration, the film. The intertextual dialogue in the narrative speech will be evidenced through theoric basis supported in several authors of the cinematographic and narrative theory. The omnipresence of the mass culture in the contemporaneous life can be made as an instrument for the work of transformation people and relations with life, from approaches, between the two focused languages, that move to new knowledge.

Morphological variant forms in morphological acquisition: evidence of child sensitivity to language grammar
The study of Language Acquisition requires an investigation that rests on interfaces. The interface between Language Acquisition and Morphology offers interesting ways to investigate the grammatical knowledge that children early acquires. The morphological regularization process, verified in Brazilian Portuguese verbal forms like “fazi,” “trazo,” “sabo,” or “ponhei,” and the inflectional suffix changes in forms like “mexei,” “suji,” or “usia,” make us consider children’s recognition capacity of language morphological resources and the emergence of such grammatical knowledge. Furthermore, through this interface we can think children’s capacity to deal with the productivity of new forms in language, from language input and children’s own knowledge. Through this perspective, we find that it is not appropriate to think of this sort of production as ‘errors.’ In the study “Formas Morfológicas Variantes na gramática infantil: um estudo à luz da Teoria da Otimidade” (Lorandi, 2007) we searched for linguistics evidences of child sensibility to language’s morphological resources from morphological regularization data and, in the Optimality Theory framework, explanations of why this phenomenon occurs in child language. Our present work brings the results of this investigation, and gives support to a new terminology for these productions, ‘morphological variant forms,’ instead of ‘errors.’ It also develops on the use of this information on the understanding of human capacity to deal with the resources that language disposes and that are available during child language acquisition.

Phonological disorder; Phonological awareness; Speech therapy.
This article aimed at collecting and discussing the results of researches that emphasized the search for the relationship between phonological disorder, in its various degrees of gravity and levels of intelligibility, and phonological awareness, two subjects that are frequently found both in phonological clinical practice and in scientific investigations in the area of language acquisition. The results of the studies in analysis showed that there is a relationship between the quality of the phonological system and the performance in phonological awareness abilities, and that the phonological awareness abilities have been lower than expected in children with phonological disorders.

FL/SL Learning; The Process of Reading and Writing/Literacy; Critical Period; Children
The aim of this paper is to incentivize the foreign language (FL) or second language (SL) insertion in the first to fifth grade curriculums at basic education schools, and justify it. Therefore we bring some authors who, based on their studies, corroborate the idea of how fruitful such learning is from several points of view to 6-10-year-old students. Based on the bibliographical review, we conclude that the FL/SL insertion in the first grades of elementary school does not affect the process of reading and writing/literacy in mother tongue.
