In this theoretical and didactic essay, the aims are to show and discuss a graphical model for the management and organizational studies field of knowledge. We analyze the scope, limits, and relations between management and organizational studies (OS). In the end, we present a visual model of representation that integrates management and organizations as the main objects of the field. The method employed was the integrative systematization of references and logical deduction. The thesis of the paper is that the typical objects of the management/OS field—management practices and organizations—are respectively phenomenal manifestations of the technical and social divisions of labor in the capitalist mode of production. Therefore, the interests of the field would be within the scope of the dialectical and dialogical relations between theses social processes.

This article discusses aspects of the character Conceição, protagonist of O Quinze, a regionalist romance by Rachel de Queiroz, published in 1930, but already presenting advanced proposals for her time regarding the female issue. Therefore, some themes that permeate the plot are elaborated, which we bring to the discussion today: the pressures that women face, including in all age groups, such as marriage and motherhood and the much desired female emancipation. , difficult to be conquered by the most disadvantaged layers of society. To reach the proposed objective, the studies by Judith Butler, Carole Pateman, Virginia Woolf and others who contributed to this debate, taking it to the literature, were used as theoretical support. As a result, we find a woman from the last century in an avant-garde position in the Brazilian context of the time, who managed to say no to male oppression, achieving the status of living well, even alone – without a man – in the face of patriarchal society.

As condições de prófugo e de sobrevivente do caos estão diretamente atreladas a Eneias, o herói troiano, filho de Vênus, que recebe papel de destaque nas narrativas fundacionais romanas. O presente artigo tem por objetivo rastrear as evidências pertinentes à construção do Eneias prófugo nas fontes escritas pré-virgilianas, o que permite ampliar a compreensão sobre as apropriações poéticas do mito na própria Eneida.

This article is about the women’s travels who lived between the 4th and 5th century AD. The study analyzes the issue of displacement to the Holy Land through the Itinerarium Burdigalensis and then seeks to understand the discourse about four women who traveled to Palestine. Helena, mother of Emperor Constantine, Egeria the pilgrim who wrote his travel diary and two Roman matrons Paula and Melanie who not only decided to travel, but also acted in a unique way, living in new places, building and interfering in the landscape with the building of monasteries, assistance to pilgrims, etc. Finally, understanding how the memory of these travelers contributes to feed a collective imagination, because the trip provides an identity to the territory and, also for the traveler herself, who makes her journey a fundamental element of her life, in this sense, the trip is much more than a metaphor for expanding new horizons, it is a practice of alterity.

Este estudo pretende estabelecer uma rede dialética entre voz, palavra e performance a partir de canções de Aldir Blanc e João Bosco gravadas por Elis Regina, em especial a canção Jardins de Infância, uma das faixas de seu álbum Falso Brilhante. As enigmáticas e por vezes herméticas letras de Aldir Blanc produzidas nos anos 1970, permeadas de alegorias e construções metafóricas encontram em A Metáfora Viva, do teórico francês Paul Ricoeur um vasto arcabouço teórico que aliado ao conceito de performance de Paul Zumthor e elementos da semântica tensiva, propostos por Luiz Tatit, estabelecem uma interlocução, moldando a estrutura deste trabalho. A fusão de elementos como a construção textual e sua interação com a melodia/arranjos e a ação performática da intérprete aliando palavra e voz são fundamentais para que se compreenda melhor esse jogo de relações que é criado sugerindo novas equações ao ouvinte/interlocutor que passa a agenciá-las no intuito de refletir sobre o que encobrem.   Abstract This paper aims to establish a relationship between voice, word and performance based on Aldir Blanc and João Bosco´s songs recorded by Elis Regina, in particular the song Jardins de Infância, one of the tracks on her album named Falso Brilhante. The enigmatic and sometimes hermetic lyrics of Aldir Blanc produced in the 1970s, composed of allegories and metaphorical constructions, finds in The Rule of Metaphor, by the French theorist Paul Ricoeur, a vast theoretical framework that, combined with Paul Zumthor´s concept of performance and elements of tensive semantics, proposed by Luiz Tatit, establish an interesting interlocution, contributing to the structure of this work. The fusion of aspects such as the textual construction and its interaction with the melody/arrangements and the performative action of the interpreter combining word and voice are fundamental for a better understanding of this combination of elements that is created by suggesting a new guide to the listener/interlocutor who starts to arrange them in order to reflect on what they cover up.

Life history is a means of qualitative research that seeks to understand life as it is reported/interpreted by the subject, who performs a reflection on his/her life. Its ability to uncover aspects of the human experience, and of understanding how people interact, interpret and construct their meanings, can be very useful in consumer behavior studies. This article checks the purpose of the Brazilian Administration research from the last ten years in the SPELL database that has used life history as a means of research, in order to find out to what extent their authors followed the suggestion of turning their attention to the Marketing field, specifically in the consumer behavior area. Having found a lack of interest for this investigative path, assumptions about it are proposed, as well as suggestions for mitigating this gap.

In view of the need to adopt adequate procedures for the implementation of a new educational model, we sought to draw up a descriptive mapping of the insertion process that has already been taking place in higher education institutions. The emerging educational model insertion process is configured through a scheme of the higher education institution as an organism composed of three dimensions: (1) Learning System; (2) Administration and (3) Infrastructure. Where, each of the three dimensions (1, 2 and 3) would be seen through three prisms: (A)Agents; (B) Material resources and (C) Processes and their elements.

Leadership is able to influence follower’s behavior, involving different aspects of their motivation. Thus, this research correlates leadership and motivation, based on questionnaires whose answers were structured by the Likert scale. Sixty-one people were interviewed, mostly aged 25 to 45 years old, working in different institutions and under different leaderships. All correlations were positive. Highest correlations, although less than 0.5, were computed between autonomy versus recognition feelings; receiving feedback versus appreciation and recognition feelings; leader control versus appreciation and recognition feelings and, finally, identification with leader's principles versus importance feeling. Recognition and appreciation feelings tend to be stronger when there is autonomy and feedback, in addition to leadership control of who is carrying out the activities. There is also a need to identify with the leader's principles for to develop recognition and appreciation feelings, and, especially, for valuing the work.

Traveling is a constant activity in everyday social life. It frequently involves logistics, displacement, food etc. When considering Antiquity, images of travels and travelers in the works of authors such as Seneca and Aelius Aristides can be observed and, in a dialogue with material culture, there are testimonies on the inscriptions of passages, bridges, journeys, pavements, among other elements. This study aims at analyzing two aspects of traveling in the Roman society: first, producing reflections on the roads because they were converted into communication sources and the basis for imperial power. For this purpose, the case study turns to Via Appia which connected Rome to Capua. From this point, the second aspect contemplated follows through philosophical voyages presented in the Letter LXX by Seneca.

The human perception of work has undergone changes: from punishment to essential to life. Thus, the study of the meaning of work became important to understand the relationship between subject and organization. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the meaning of work for teachers at the Municipal School Unit Conveniada Belo Campo, in Belo Campo, Southwestern of Bahia. This research is empirical in nature, descriptive-exploratory and the research strategy was the case study. Adopting a probabilistic sampling, 37 teachers answered a structured questionnaire and, due to accessibility, eight teachers were interviewed. The results revealed a feeling of devaluation, triggered mainly by low salaries and lack of recognition by students and the government, in addition to tiredness caused by work overload. However, teachers are satisfied with their work and are proud of what they do.

Atualmente pensa-se e se discute muito sobre as novas metodologias de ensino estando elas nas diferentes etapas da educação básica, para que se aprimorem nos alunos: a aquisição dos conhecimentos, a interação e a integração desses conhecimentos com as situações reais de trabalho, onde se aplicam de forma mais assertiva esses conhecimentos, além do afloramento do protagonismo, autoconfiança, empatia e solidariedade e sustentabilidade, ressaltando também todas as demais habilidades e competências que o mercado profissional demanda. Mas, ao mesmo tempo que isso tudo seja instigante e atraente para todo corpo acadêmico, principalmente para corpo discente, é muito assustador e desafiador, pois é tudo novo e diferente do método tradicional de ensino que está sendo utilizado desde o início do processo de transmissão de conhecimento. Tanto para nós, os professores, os alunos, quanto para as instituições, ocorrem dificuldades para adaptação da metodologia tradicional para as novas metodologias. Logo, a proposta deste trabalho é avaliar o sentimento do corpo discente frente à todas mudanças propostas para o sistema de ensino. Foram realizados questionamentos aos estudantes, através de uma pesquisa on line com estes, verificando de forma detalhada, as expectativas, as dúvidas e outras informações quanto a mudança para as novas metodologias de ensino. Os resultados estatísticos mostraram que os estudantes estão cientes que as mudanças são pertinentes em função das novas demandas do mercado, mas conclui-se que ainda se sentem receosos de como estas mudanças estão ocorrendo e se as instituições, o corpo docente e eles próprios estão preparados para tal.

O texto propõe uma reflexão acerca das relações de trabalho, os significados envolvidos nestas relações e as trocas sociais estabelecidas. Neste contexto, buscou-se compreender as relações de trabalho dos catadores de materiais recicláveis na sociedade capitalista e qual lugar esses trabalhadores ocupam nessa sociedade.

O presente estudo se volta à análise do processo de implementação da intersetorialidade envolvendo o acompanhamento das condicionalidades da saúde do Programa Bolsa Família no município de Niterói (RJ). Busca identificar inovações e desafios postos à intervenção governamental em nível local. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada nos anos de 2010 e 2011 e contou com um levantamento prévio das ações intersetoriais em desenvolvimento no município, entrevistas com gestores e profissionais, além da realização de grupo focal com beneficiários do PBF. Os resultados demonstram que apesar da previsão da intersetorialidade no desenho do programa, fatores como descontinuidade administrativa, desconhecimento do programa pelos profissionais, frágil controle social, falta de transparência na sua condução e interferências partidárias configuram alguns dos obstáculos à intersetorialidade.

O fechamento de fronteiras foi uma medida tomada pela maioria dos países no combate à pandemia de Covid-19, inclusive o Brasil, mediante portarias interministeriais do governo federal. A proposta desta pesquisa é analisar tais portarias, quais as motivações do Poder Executivo, e o que esses atos significam para a democracia e para os direitos migratórios. Pelo método histórico-dedutivo, utilizando-se de pesquisa bibliográfica, realizou-se uma revisão teórica sobre o governo burocrático e autoritário na perspectiva de Arendt. Por meio de pesquisa documental (portarias, Ação Civil Pública e reportagens), analisou-se a legalidade das portarias que determinaram as restrições migratórias. Concluiu-se que o fechamento de fronteiras, no Brasil, é um projeto político autoritário de contenção migratória, não do vírus: as portarias interministeriais sob análise representam a utilização da burocracia pelo poder político, para subverter o sistema legal. Palavras-chave: migrações; pandemia; democracia; burocracia.   Abstract The closure of borders was a measure taken by most countries facing the Covid-19 pandemic, including Brazil, through interministerial ordinances of the federal government. The purpose of this research is to analyze such ordinances, what are the motivations of the Executive Branch, and what these acts mean for democracy and migratory rights. Through the historical-deductive method, using bibliographic research, a theoretical review of bureaucratic and authoritarian government was carried out in Arendt's perspective. Through documentary research (ordinances, Public Civil Action and reports), the legality of the ordinances that they determined to be migratory restrictions was analyzed. It was concluded that the closing of borders, in Brazil, is an authoritarian political project of migratory containment, not of the virus: the interministerial ordinances under analysis represent the use of bureaucracy by the political power to subvert the legal system. El propósito de esta investigación es analizar tales ordenanzas, cuáles son las motivaciones del Poder Ejecutivo y qué significan estos actos para la democracia y los derechos migratorios. A través del método histórico-deductivo, utilizando la investigación bibliográfica, se realizó una revisión teórica sobre el gobierno burocrático y autoritario en la perspectiva de Arendt. A través de la investigación documental (ordenanzas, Acción Civil Pública e informes) se analizó la legalidad de las ordenanzas que determinaban las restricciones migratorias. Se concluyó que el cierre de fronteras, en Brasil, es un proyecto político autoritario de contención migratoria, no del virus: las ordenanzas interministeriales analizadas representan el uso de la burocracia por el poder político para subvertir el sistema legal. El presente artículo analiza la coexistencia y relación entre dos enfoques que ha mantenido el Estado hacia la población migrante en Chile durante la actual pandemia por COVID-19. El primero está asociado a la perspectiva universalista de derechos humanos, que ha guiado los avances en el acceso a la salud de la población migrante. El segundo, en cambio, es de carácter excluyente y se desprende de una visión securitista con foco en el control de la migración irregular. En una primera lectura ambos enfoques pueden parecer opuestos, pero lo cierto es que se vienen aplicando simultáneamente, aunque con variaciones de intensidad de acuerdo a los distintos contextos políticos. A partir de trabajos previos realizados por las investigadoras analizaremos cómo ambos enfoques han impactado a la población venezolana en el país. Nos centraremos en el caso venezolano puesto que hoy día representa el 30% de la población extranjera y porque ha sido uno de los focos de las medidas implementadas por el gobierno en el último año. Palabras claves: migración venezolana; pandemia; COVID19; derechos humanos; salud.   Abstract This article analyzes the coexistence and relationship between two approaches that the State has maintained towards the migrant population in Chile during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The first one arises from the universal Human Rights approach that has guided the advances in the access to the health system for the migrant population. The second one, arises from an exclusionary approach developed by the national security perspective, with a strong focus on the control of irregular migration. At a first glance, both approaches may seem opposite, but the truth is that they have been applied simultaneously, although with variations in intensity according to the political context. Based on previous work carried out by the researchers, we will analyze how both approaches have impacted the Venezuelan population in the country. We will focus on the Venezuelan case since today it represents 30% of the foreign population and because it has been one of the focuses of the measures implemented by the government in the last year. Keywords: Venezuelan migration; pandemic; COVID 19; human rights; health.   Resumo O presente artigo analisa a coexistência e a relação entre dois enfoques que o Estado manteve em relação à população migrante no Chile durante a atual pandemia de COVID-19. O primeiro está associado à perspectiva universalista dos direitos humanos, a qual tem norteado os avanços no acesso à saúde da população migrante. A segunda, por sua vez, é de caráter excludente e decorre de uma visão securitista com o foco no controle da migração irregular. Em uma primeira leitura, ambos os enfoques podem parecer opostos, mas a verdade é que têm sido aplicados simultaneamente, embora com variações de intensidade de acordo com os diferentes contextos políticos. Com base em trabalhos anteriores realizados pelas pesquisadoras, analisaremos como ambas os enfoques têm impactado a população venezuelana no país. Vamos nos concentrar no caso venezuelano posto que hoje representa 30% da população estrangeira e porque tem sido um dos focos das medidas implementadas pelo governo no ano passado.
