However, for this article, we seek to introduce the theme through the discussion of the concept social class, a concept of great importance, in order to articulate the culture to a transformative project of society, that was linked in the past with the world of labor, and nowadays, it appears fragmented. Thus, it is needed to raise some questions about the concept of class which in the post-modernity, seems to loose centrality, which is understood as a repercussion of society’s transformations in course at the current historical moment. These transformations, since the decade of 1970, have been developed as a product of economic and political strategies for overcoming the structural crisis of capital that is placed in that period. Due to the late and subordinated inclusion in the capitalist society, such effects are here more deep and severe. As a result, the work aims to call the attention for the importance of Social Work to face this debate in a critical manner once the conflict capital X labor still remains central in society, and so, the profession still continues facing day by day the expressions of this conflict. Key-words: Culture. Class Identity. Post-modernity. Conflict capital–work. Social Work.

Infrational act in adolescence: problematization of the access of the justice system
This article leads to a reflection about the matter of the infraction act in the juvenile penal law system, historically demarked by two distinct periods: from the Irregular Situation Doctrine to the Integral Protection Doctrine. This doctrinaire change represented a qualitative leap in the assistance policy to the Brazilian childhood and adolescence, since the promulgation of the Child and Teenager Statute, determined by the Federal Law number 8069/90. However the juridical/normative consolidation of the rights concerned to the peculiar conditions of the children and teenagers did not mean its effective applicability, fact which reveals the contradiction of the access to law: the teenager author of the infraction act reaches the law system through the infraction via and not through the perspective of law, once the State has revealed to be unable to assure the law operation, deficit related to the lack of public policies for the childhood and youth concerning their needs and rights. Key words – Infracting teenager. System of the juvenile penal justice. Public policies.

User’s attendance: contributive factor for suffering in the health’s work
In considering the issue of suffering that health care workers undergo, one must connect it with attendance to health care service users when this aspect of the work process in public health care is most emphasized. As one can learn from Botazzo’s (1999) studies there are clearly conflicting needs and views between the users and the users and the working people involved concerning health care. Campos (1997a) also states these different social roles which often cause conflicts of interests. This study is a qualitative approach in which interviews are analyzed by a content analysis method. The subjects of this study were 17 female workers in the municipal health service. The data obtained were compatible with theoretical references that were used, and showed conflicting interests between attendants and users. The precarious state of this service brings about suffering situations to workers since, because of unprovided means, they have to cope with the situations with means at hand to minimally attend the increasing requirements of the population, often regarded as improper by the public servants. Also, there is a great influence of the environment where these relations between users and attendants take place. So it is vital to find a mediating answer to these conflicts pattern to a preventive and self-promoting pattern of public health care. Word-keys – Suffering in the health's work. Assistence to users. Conflicts.

The doccumentation in the daily life intrevention of social workers: some considerations concerning the field diary
The article draws attention to the importance of documentation in the daily professional interventions and focuses on the recording of professional actions in the field diary. It is assumed that documentation is crucial in the process of data gathering and analysis, since it makes it possible to systematize the intervention developed by social workers and social work students both in order to investigate social reality, the people involved and the process of professional intervention and to find orientation for their actions when they are articulated in different intervention processes. Nonetheless, one sees that documentation as an instrument that improves the quality of professional actions is little explored by social workers. This applies particularly to the field diary, which is usually restricted to descriptions, occasional observations and mere scheduling of daily tasks. Hence the article’s insistence on the importance of analyses and/or diagnoses of the social reality and the unique demands of the people served by social workers, as this gives visibility to the forms of planning and carrying out professional actions and helps to identify limits and possibilities in the process of meeting the demands. Documentation is considered a constitutive element of professional action because it can positively influence the processes of planning and evaluation by making their execution easier. The field diary contains not only information, but may contain daily reflections that, when theoretically interpreted, foster progress both in the area of intervention and of theory. Key words – Documentation. Field diary. Social work. Professional intervention.
