The digital television reception system has a number of possible technological changes in its architecture. One of the changes is the transition from the VHF broadcast band to UHF. This fact requires a change in design, size and electrical characteristics of the radio receiver antenna side. Among the desirable characteristics of an antenna operating in this frequency band are: omnidirectionality, gain, directivity and wideband required to cover the entire range, combined with low cost and easy construction. This work proposes a new antenna, formed by a planar monopole acting as irradiator element and supported by a conical structure attached to a cylindrical shaped element with sleeve format that promotes an increase and control of the bandwidth required to cover the entire UHF band, including GSM850 and GSM900 bands. The design of the proposed antenna was performed with a full wave electromagnetic field simulator. A prototype was built and simulated and experimental results showed that the proposed antenna could cover the range of 469.6 MHz to 1387.4 MHz, with a steady-state wave ratio of less than 2. The performance of the proposed antenna was compared with other monopole antennas in relation to the received power level. A digital TV receiver was used to verify system performance in a closed and urban environment.

This work approaches the evolution of tattoos from the first evidences of their existence to the present time and it also shows the different uses in each culture as a resource to express different messages on someone s body. It discusses, through the Discourse Analysis theory, the Ideology, discourse and Subject concepts. Culture and Identity are also examined in order to provide an analysis to prove if there is a specific tattoo type according to the sex and age of the tattooed person, as well as the reason a person decides for a definite tattoo. Based on the analysis of a questionnaire sent by internet, we listed the most common tattoos in the group of volunteers who answered it. We also analyzed the Gerative Sense Course, i.e., the fundamental, narrative and discursive levels in the discourse of each tattoo according to the French Discourse Analysis theory. This work is concluded with the comments about the achieved results and analyses the tattoo as a group identity element and as a symbol of freedom of the contemporary men and women.

O retrato inconsistente do circo pela imprensa cultural digital e impressa tem suas razões verificadas tanto pela falta de familiaridade de jornalistas com a linguagem circense quanto pelas circunstâncias atuais do próprio ofício, o qual é permeado pelas dinâmicas de mercadoria e pela ampliação das plataformas midiáticas e de público. Nesse ínterim lógico, a apreciação crítica dos espetáculos contemporâneos desvela uma escrita marcada pela confusão de conceitos basilares do circo, tais como “tradição”, “picadeiro” e “novo-circo”, bem como, a anulação do “circo” como uma categoria suis generis dentre as apresentações vivas. Para trabalhar a referida problemática, a investigação emprega o revezamento entre teorias comunicacionais e de cultura, a avaliação prática da cobertura jornalística e o envolvimento empírico da autora com o mundo circense para sugerir escritas mais assertivas sobre o circo.

Trata-se do estudo da vinda dos imigrantes coreanos para o bairro do Bom Retiro, localizado na zona central de São Paulo, tendo como objetivo entender o que torna o bairro uma zona multicultural conhecida como o bairro dos coreanos. Através desta, procura-se conhecer as tradições da cultura coreana que ainda são mantidas no Brasil preservando assim, a sua memória.

The research “Evaluation of the criteria of the municipal certification IPTU Verde Salvador toward the production of a sustainable architecture” analyzes the certification IPTU Verde, which is an instrument that aims to give incentives to sustainable attitudes and mechanisms to diminish the consumption of natural resources and to reduce environmental impacts, through property tax incentive. The main goal of this work is to analyze the requisites for obtaining the certification IPTU Verde Salvador. This theme was chosen due to it being a potential alternative in addressing and solving the environmental damages in architecture, through the adoption of sustainable measures applied on the building, which is also able to generate benefits for the users and for the city. Therefore, the research had the goal of analyzing the requisites that are part of the certification IPTU Verde in the municipality of Salvador, and its methodology consists of literature review including the study of the concepts of sustainability applied to architecture; the study of IPTU Verde of Salvador, which aims to stimulate the building sustainability certification with focus on the criteria for the concession of the certification, and how it is structured; presentation of the 70 requisites which make up the certification, which are items related to water management, efficiency and energetic alternatives, sustainable project and greenhouse gases; a comparison between the IPTU Verde Salvador certification with two other sustainable municipal certifications, QUALIVERDE in Rio de Janeiro and BH Sustentável in Belo Horizonte; and finally, an analysis of IPTU Verde Salvador within three developments certified in the municipality of Salvador.

Williams-Beuren syndrome (WBS) is caused by microdeletions in the region 7q11.23. The main clinical features of the syndrome are congenital heart disease, typical facial dysmorphisms, friendly personality and intellectual disabilities. Previous studies have shown that polymorphism in the gene encoding the enzyme responsible for conversion of T4 to T3, the deiodinase type 2 (D2) does not alter its catalytic activity, but are positively associated with neuropsychiatric disorders and intellectual impairment, bipolar disorder and depression. Later it was demonstrated that polymorphic D2 (Thr92Ala-D2) alters the expression of genes involved in oxidative stress also altered in individuals with Alzheimer's disease. Taken together, we hipostenizamos the Thr92Ala-D2 might be related to cognitive impairment in individuals with SWB. Thus, this study aimed to track the frequency of polymorphism in a group of 63 patients with SWB and correlate the presence of the polymorphism with its indicators of intellectual functioning. Participants were 4-37 years on molecular diagnosis of SWB and were matched for sex and age. The DNA from patients was obtained from the collection of buccal epithelial cells using Swab and mutation status was determined by the technique of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). Intellectual performance of participants was assessed by the instruments: WASI, WISC-III or WAIS-III. 10 individuals were identified polymorphic (A / A) and 39 heterozygotes (T / A), featuring 15.88% and 61.90% of the study population, respectively. 21 patients were evaluated and the IQ values ranged from 37 to 72, characterized intellectual deficit, mild to moderate, as described in the literature. There was no significant correlation between the presence of the polymorphism and IQ patients, even when the sample was stratified according to gender. Two patients heterozygous for the polymorphism had subclinical hypothyroidism and IQ values were 42.2 and 37. We note a full IQ downward trend as there is an increase in serum levels of TSH, although no statistical significance.

Having as major premise to evaluate and redefine the role of Law regarding law enforcement action which affect specially in a negative form the citizenship rights, the current study considering Law as a domination instrument and based upon the althusserian concept of the State Ideological Apparatuses (SIA) undertakes a deep investigation about the juridical teachings supplied to the officialdom of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo since 1964, aiming to extract the sense that the juridical phenomenon mainly the idea of justice takes at each possible to be delimited period. By those means, a research about the police praxis and the officialdom thinking at the same period is made. The hypothesis is that the ideological conditioning whose object was Law teaching during the period at study might have been determinative for the construction of a peculiar law , which had decisive influence on police praxis and officialdom thinking - not only by the most obvious forms in which teaching influence is observed, but mainly because of the ideology infused to it in a way that this praxis and thought, by these means structured, conditioned and condition in a relevant manner, the behavior of the Military Police about the protection of citizenship rights. Therefore conceived, as a "peculiar Law conditioned above all by ideology, a more active role can be reserved to Law, regarding the argument that explains police violence and that goes beyond the passive role of violated rules.

This work presented a proposal to deal with the dissatisfaction of the students of the Escola de Pós-Graduação em Administração e Inovação (EPGAI), identified from a statement from the head office requesting information about the annual drop in enrollments at the Lapa unit. The name EPGAI was adopted in a fictitious way in order to maintain the company's anonymity. Based on the survey of the students' reaction evaluations, it was found that dissatisfaction was caused by the performance of the invited professors and characterized by the existence of communication failures in the pedagogical model and premises of the institution. A proposal was elaborated, the survey of the necessary resources and capacities, the action plan, the financial feasibility analysis, risk analysis and the implementation of the proposal to solve this problem through the application of online training. It is expected that the proposed solution will correct the failure in communication between EPGAI and the hired invited professors, so that the classes taught are focused on professional practices, reducing student discontent and promoting the sustainability and development of EPGAI in its market, with the guarantee of the existence and implementation of its competitive advantage, generation and capture of value to the involved stakeholders: students, invited professors and companies. The proposed solution suggests as a strategy, innovation in processes and incremental, with the application of online training to the invited professors, through a digital platform, aligning them to the expectations of the institution through the transmission of knowledge about the pedagogical practice defended by the company, that enable practical and adequate learning for the labor market communicated by EPGAI and expected by students. The complexity in the development of this work was initially due to the fact that the team realized that the problem should be known to everyone and be solved proactively, without the need for charges from the head office. However, the facilitating item originated from meetings that focused on understanding and eliminating barriers, and thus an alignment was reached that facilitated the execution of the next steps of this study. Part of the development of this work took place in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, considering that the analyzed scenarios would not change significantly, and that the analyzed internal and external conditions would remain valid. In this sense, the creation and improvement of value generation strategies, started from the recognition and understanding of values identified from the customers' perspective. From this context, this work contributes to meeting the expectations of EPGAI Lapa students. Thus, it is expected that the strategic model of innovation and business development presented, will be replicated in all units managed by EPGAI. The methodology for practical and applied work (PSPE/AO) by Marcondes, Miguel, Franklin and Perez (2017) was followed, using interviews, the Kano Model, the Ishikawa Diagram and the SERVQUAL Method.

Este trabalho de conclusão de curso apresenta estudos que abrangem a área do jornalismo literário e abordagem humanizada na construção de uma grande reportagem. Foram pesquisadas informações sobre o tema escolhido, além de características exclusivas da linguagem literária como narrativa cena a cena e descrição detalhada de personagens. Além disso, o projeto trabalha com ilustrações fotográficas e mostra a importância da fotografia em uma grande reportagem. Por meio da linguagem literária, o projeto aborda a carência de sonhos dos moradores da tribo de Muzumuia, em Moçambique, além de histórias vividas por voluntários da ONG Fraternidade Sem Fronteiras no local. Mostra também o jornalismo humanizado e sua importância durante a realização da matéria. O trabalho teve sua fundamentação concentrada em autores especialistas em jornalismo literário, como Sergio Villas Boas, Edvaldo Pereira Lima e Eliane Brum; além de Boris Kossoy fundamentando teorias sobre fotografia. Pretende-se responder a seguinte pergunta-problema: Como o jornalismo literário pode mostrar a ausência de sonhos em uma tribo africana?

The present research proposes to study the transformation and urbanization process of the Urbanova neighborhood, located in the São José dos Campos western area, during the period from 1970 to 2019. Such period comprises since the idealization of a neighborhood planned from a plan director coordinated by the architect Jorge Wilheim, pass trought spatial transformations conducted by public and private agents, until the forms of urban fabric configuration present nowadays and out of step with the initial plan: predominance of residential use and low density characterized by closed allotments turned for the higher income classes, besides considering a mobility model based on individual transport. In this regard understanding that cities are fundamental to the global transformation on the path of sustainability and out of the elements brought about by the research of Jorge Wilheim's plan, an analysis is necessary to contribute to the urbanization debate experiences experienced nowadays, the socio-spatial dynamics, the dichotomies, the burdens and the potential of the forms of dispersed intra-urban configuration, in contrast to the trend of new centralities with planned neighborhoods.
