The culture of convergence within Brazilian television fiction
This review makes a general content analysis of the work Ficçãotelevisivatransmidiática no Brasil: plataformas, convergência, comunidadesvirtuais [Transmedia Television Fiction in Brazil: platforms, convergence, virtual communities], which gathers the results of a collaborative research initiated in November 2009. Having involved Brazilian researchers belonging to the Ibero-American Observatory of Television Fiction, the study took as guiding axes the issues of production, circulation and consumption of the television fiction in the context of digital technologies.

Research-teaching: scholar communication in teacher’s education
The work Pesquisa-ensino: a comunicação escolar na formação do professor [Research-Teaching: school communication in the teacher’s formation] was chosen by Câmara Brasileira do Livro as one of 2010’s best books, in the category “Education”. Departing from the principle that “knowledge on teaching is produced from teaching situations”, this work highlights the role of teacher’s investigative intervention inside the educational process inside a theoreticalconceptual dimension and introduces teaching practices that can contribute to this knowledge area reflection and development.

Contadores de histórias, ou quando a imaginação, a criação e a atenção nos ensinam como olhar com os ouvidos e ouvir com os olhos
All cinematographic work, albeit fictional, bring itself traces from its author’s or the audience’s reality. In the same way, even the documentaries will have their percentage of inspiration and fictional reinterpretation of reality. The motion picture O contador de histórias [The Storyteller] joins these two elements – artistic and cinematographic creation- when retelling a real story, with fictional elements taken not only from the plot reinterpretation, but also from the protagonist’s nature. Based on this reflection, this article analyses the cited work confronting it with this country’scurrent cultural and historical context.

Na atualidade, as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) configuram- se como um importante território deprodução e transformação sociocultural, no qual se engendram novos valores, sentidos e práticas sociais pautados pela colaboração e interação em rede. Em um contexto de discussão sobre indicadores de acesso ao computador e à Internet, a presente pesquisa vale-se da netnografia para abordar as literacias informacionais emergentes e a inclusão digital de idosos no Programa AcessaSP.

Communitarian radio building Social Capital: rural women in radio production
The study analyzes the production of the Alternativa FM Communitarian Radio by the women involved in the actions of the non-governmental organization Nazaré da Mata Women Association – Amunam. The focus is how Alternativa FM contributes for the development of the human and social capitals of these women. This Radio Station is related to the human capital construction, through an educational effort in the female broadcaster´s technical abilities formation; and the social capital’s, as the work in the radio station stimulates contribution and political participation of these women who are involved in the radio practice.

Roland Barthes diante do signo fotográfico
Em A câmara clara, Roland Barthes elabora uma reflexão decisiva sobre a fotografia. Nessa obra, o semioticista que denuncia os mitos da fotografia passa a poeta das imagens pungentes, em um convite à difícil tarefa de reconhecer as riquezas singulares que podem vir a ser eternizadas em uma imagem fotográfica. Temos aí outro olhar em direção a imagens técnicas, bem diverso daquele vindo da tradição bem- -pensante, com seu veto aos simulacros. Nesse sentido, jogamos com a hipótese de que as teses de A câmara clara ganhariam se fossem entendidas como um pensamento sui generis sobre o signo fotográfico.

The toy, memory of a society
O brinquedo, carregado de conotação simbólica, reflete a identidade cultural de uma sociedade e consiste em um objetoque pode desempenhar o papel de espelho social. Ao deter o olhar sobre os brinquedos, eles se ressignificam, despertando nos espectadores atuais diversos graus de apropriação e reinterpretação desses objetos. É fundamental que a sociedade tome consciência da importância desse patrimônio, levandoem conta sua fragilidade – já que ele pode se perder – e seu pertencimento – já que é de toda a sociedade. Para fortalecer e afiançar a identidade cultural, é importante o resgate de brinquedos e jogos da cultura ou, mais especificamente, da sociedade à qual pertencemos. Ao conhecer e brincar combrinquedos e jogos de nossos pais e avós, reforçam-se complexas redes identitárias entre a criança, o adulto e sua comunidade.

Tradition and change: the challenges of the trademark claim at Andreato Communication and Culture
The present study brings up a reflection about the transition between the modern model concerned to economy, politics and cultural production that prevailed up to the middle of the twentieth century, and the post-modern model, which the nowadays generation in productive age experiences and constructs. The analysis closes itself, specially, on the trajectory of Andreato Communication and Culture studio. Taking into account the world and market transformations in the latest thirty years – which influence intensively in the organizational culture of the enterprise, as well as in the way the professionals from the organization deal with the main themes related totheir products: the Brazilian history and culture. Through the organization trajectory analysis – and specially the trajectoryanalysis of its founder, the graphic artist Elifas Andreato – and through market and relationship researches, this study intendsto show ways to strengthen, in front of the market, the enterprise’s brand vinculum to themes connected to the national culture. At the same time, it enumerates ways so that the organization can better express itself, and thus give continuity to its cultural production solid History by the use of new medias, in special Internet.

This is a concise bibliography of contemporary Cuban writer Leonardo Padura Fuentes, whose works are mainly detective novels. In his stories, the Young habanero Mario Conde, policeman, romantic and inveterate rum drinker, carries out his investigations, while presenting a poignant portrait of his country’s contemporary society.
Media education: from creativity to the free expression in school
Com o advento das mídias e da cultura de massa, ações de mídia-educação tornam-se cada vez mais necessárias nocontexto da escola. O presente artigo resulta de uma Iniciação Científica realizada com alunos do Ensino Médio público. Apesquisa teve como objetivo a construção de metodologias que exercitassem a leitura crítica das mídias e estimulassem a produção de conteúdos criativos utilizando as linguagens do som e da imagem. Para isso, foram realizadas oficinas de rádio e fotografia. Os resultados das análises obtidas mostraram que os estudantes, apesar de serem alvo de um aprendizado acrítico e passivo, possuem grande capacidade de expressão e potencialcriativo, quando são instigados a falar sobre algo por meio das linguagens midiáticas.
