Understanding the concept of limit-situation: dialogues with the crisis ide
This work presents a theoretical study based on the framework of Liberation Social Psychology. We aim to reflect about two main concepts: crisis and limit-situation within from the standpoint of Leonardo Boff and Ignacio Martín-Baró. For this, we propose a reflected reading of three important articles written by each of them: Crisis – growth opportunity from Leonardo Boff and War and Psychosocial Trauma of the child in El Salvador and War and Mental Health for Ignacio Martín-Baró. The reflected reading is a methodological perspective that aims to find the similarities and differences or possible matches between the crisis and limit-situation ideas within the Liberation Social Psychology paradigm. Thus, it is expected to share and help to better understand the practical possibilities arising from Social Liberation Psychology.

Freudianism and the Frankfurt school: study about the relationship between metapsychology and critical theory
This paper is the result of a literature research which aims to demarcate the relationship of the Critical Theory of the Frankfurt School with Freud’s psychoanalysis, in particular its metapsychology, referred here as freudianism. To archieve this, we made a detailed analysis of the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt while epistemological Mark, and not as an individual production of its members. This paper was divided into three parts: 1) a brief introduction to the suggested topic and some explanations of the research procedure culminat in this article; 2) A historical contextualization of the events that led to the rapprochement between Freudianism and the Frankfurt School; 3) The ratio of Critical Theory with freudian psychoanalysis in its philosophical, sociological and cultural critic aspects. Thus, We tried to identify these fields approach and displacement movements that symbolize the conflicting relationship between the historical and dialectical materialism and the Freudianism mainly because we assume the premise that the dialogues Critical Theory with Freud’s psychoanalysis had the metapsychology as a mediator instrument. The purpose of this work is to show the importance of the Frankfurt School for Critical Theory and the understanding of phenomena involving the subject-society relations.

Identity under the perspective of critical social psychology: revisiting the ways of edification of a theory
Think about the aspects of identity in contemporary production means to quest for understanding meanings assumed by individuals and attributed to transformations experienced throughout their lives and still one of the greatest theoretical challenges of today to the different areas of the humanities. In the context of a Critical Social Psychology, this debate is especially relevant because the discussion calls for the development of theoretical constructs that contribute to a successful result reading of social reality, taking into account the undisputed political commitment of the theoretical and epistemological intentionality social psychology historically situated. Based on these guidelines, the aim of this study is to revisit the paths taken by the work of Antonio da Costa Ciampa, from a reading of his doctoral thesis toward the theoretical construction of the phrase identity-metamorphosis-emancipation, seeking to clarify the main conceptual and epistemological design of your work. And to assess the analytical potential of the writings of the author, argue that his work constitutes a theory of identity and not just an analytical category, whose building aims, especially, find vanishing points, emancipatory alternatives to the framework of individualism, coercions and dissension caused by the inversion of values in modern societies.

Life projects and political identities: a way to emancipation
This paper brings the reflexion, in the context of social psychology, of the importance of considering in studies at the field of Identity, the analysis not only of history but also the life project of individuals, in order to collect information about your identity process. The theoretical framework for this discussion was the sintagma identity-metamorphosis-emancipation proposed by Ciampa (1987/2009), as well as their basis in Habermas theory of communicative action (1975, 1983, 1987). The existence of a political identity, coupled with an autonomous life project lead the individual to this condition. Appears at the end of the article, a case in which, to give up the adherence to heteronomous identity politics and taking a political identity, the subject achieved emancipation fragments in his life project.

Violence against women: analysis of women’s identity who suffer of domestic violence
Violence, as a social phenomenon, is historically present in everyday social relations, intrinsic to the process of civilization and it is manifested in different ways. Violence in relationships between partners expresses affection and the dynamics of power and, mostly, denounces relations of subordination and domination. It is largely directed against women, regardless of their social status or the degree of economic development. This study tried to make the analysis of the woman’s identity in relation to violence with their partners, identifying values and identity processes in everyday circumstances and dynamics of the actors involved. For this, we used as methodology the actionresearch, which had as instruments of data collection the “Diário de Campo”, “Escuta Terapêutica-educativa”, buoyed by psychosocial intervention. The results that was obtained by the analysis of the woman’s identity showed us the difficulties faced by women who suffer domestic violence in exercising the ability to guide her own life, when she needs to make some decisions and, also, to construct new identities and to make them understand that gender violence must be changed, through deconstructing relationships of inequality between men and women and restructuring the affection, personal values that can transform her social relations.

Psychometric evidence of the future expectancy scale in reduced version
The future expectancy concerns the preparation of plans, aspirations and fears in relation to various aspects of life in the near or distant future; It is believed that studies of this construct are rather relevant in which the image that is made of the future results in influencing both groups and individuals behavior in present. In Brazil, the scale has revealed statistical indicators that confirmed the existence of three factors: Society Conditions, Professional and Financial Success and Personal Fulfillment; however, there were some limits in this study (e.g., from a lack of statistical options of the classical theory – TCT, from psychometric studies to insufficient factor scores, which hinder the association item-factor). This study aims to assess the consistency of the factorial organization contemplating the TCT and modern statistics. The study included 500 subjects, men and women (students and the general population) of the city of Seropédica - RJ and João Pessoa - PB, ages ranging from 18-65 years old and they responded to the Future Expectancy Scale and also to socio-demographic data. Through TCT, there were indicators that suggested the reduction of the scale, which was proven in the confirmatory analysis.

The notion of suffering: possible contribution of the phenomenological lens of multiple contours
This article discusses the notion of suffering through the lens of multiple contours of Merleau-Ponty’s ambiguity phenomenology. We start at the notion of suffering and its historical evolution since Ancient Greece to contemporaneity, by conducting a literature review and discussion seeking scientifical articles in the last ten years in databases such as Scielo and Ebsco, as well as a books that relates to the theme. The notion of suffering is a historical construction that was influenced by several economic, social and cultural changes and, nowadays, is seen as something to be avoided the fastest and easiest way and as a sign of weakness and failure. We consider that problematizing the notion of suffering and its comprehension under the lens of multiple contours based on Merleau-Ponty’s philosophy gives us the possibility of understanding it from various perspectives, contributing to the comprehension of the demands that are brought to the contemporary clinic.

Verification and validation’s possibility of DAVID® system as evaluative instrument in orthopaedic diagnostic in the process of reintegration for the work – pilot study
This research aimed to support the physical assessment and functional capabilities, for the validation of symptoms in orthopaedic diagnoses in the process of reintegration for the work. Analysis of the functional state of the vertebral column of a random sample of 236 patients, through the measurement of the maximum isometric force using the Assessment System DAVID® was accomplished taking into account the socio-economic status of these patients. The test protocol is coherent with the report of the Rehabilitation Center assessment. The data of biomechanical functional analysis were found using the Excel program. In accordance with the brief study developed it is possible to say that there is a significant difference in the development of maximum strength during rotation movement of the trunk (to the right, p = 0,018; to the left, p = 0,046) between the socio-economic groups “employees” or “unemployed” in patients with low back pain. Since the study is not able to demonstrate correlation between chronic pain of the lumbar region and strength development, the concerned pathological special features remains irrelevant.

The insane, the child, and the analyst: contributions of Maud Mannoni to psychoanalysis
We aim to point out to the major contributions of Maud Mannoni in the history of psychoanalysis. For this, we want mention to the influences that marked its trajectory and the key aspects of her work: the conceptions of madness and the child. The idea is to try to understand how these aspects, being repeated, get a fundamental importance for the reading of her work. It summons for two questions: Why the child and the insane? In what does the psychiatric issue and the place of the analyst are related? In this way we will try to discuss about the rupture Maud Mannoni operated in the clash caught by her against the Psychiatry and psychiatric institutions, and their relationship with the place of analyst in the clinic with children.

The relationships between satisfaction, commitment and longevity at work in a company of segment of metallurgy of Fortaleza
The objective of this paper is to study the relationship between seniority and organizational commitment as indicators of satisfaction in a family company in Fortaleza. Its relevance comes from the necessity of undertaking new themes that bring together possibilities of articulation to the theme of organizational commitment from the multidimensional pattern proposed by Rego (2003), namely: affective commitment, common future, alternatives shortage, substantial sacrifices, norm commitment, and psychological absence. The survey was conducted in a large company in the metallurgical segment. Two hundred and seventy two employees from operational, administrative, coordinative, managerial and directorial levels participated in this study. Concerning the approach of the problem, the outline of this study has its base on quantitative and qualitative grounds, and its method is based on case study. The analyzed data was collected from a questionnaire. The theory used employs concepts as “organizational commitment”, “seniority”, “satisfaction”, and “management of family business” as a way to undertake patterns of relationships and influence among them. We highlight as main results the high level of affective commitment, normative commitment and communal future, as well as the low level of substantial sacrifice commitment, alternatives shortage and psychological absence perceived among all the employers of the company; we’ve concluded that employees with seniority display a slight increase in affective commitment and significant increase in normative commitment; and, finally, we have verified that employees who are not part of the family demonstrate higher levels of commitment in all dimensions of commitment as proposed by Rego (2003).
