Looking for an unexpected heidegger’s philosophical anthropology

There is a possibility of seizing an unexpected Philosophical Anthropology resulting from Existential Analytic of Dasein undertaken by Martin Heidegger in Being and Time - although this was not his philosophical intention. His positions assumed in Zöllikon conference through dialogue with his fundamental ontology, is unequivocally an essential foundation for reflection and development of the human sciences in general and psychology and psychopathology phenomenological in particular. This task must to be performed through scientific and philosophical researches, in parallel, as a essential mission needed to base the practice of human sciences that claim for epistemological foundations in order to provide them to the advent of new scientific productions, and needed elements for inspired thoughts founded in existential-phenomenological precepts, according to their conceptions of intersubjectivities and otherness cooriginatedly expressed in lived stories, times and spaces. The dialogue between science and philosophy, largely imposes the need for a precise distinction between what is assumed as object for those two different sources of production of knowledge, remain in the instance of a mutual incitement, as a condition of possibility for the development and justification of both.

Considerations on the analysis of the category ‘belonging’ in migrant families

The paper presents the author’s doctoral research, “Migrant family affection: a Sociodramatic study” (UnB, 2008), whose main objective was understanding the internal reorganization (‘familility’) and social belonging of families who migrated from northeastern Brazil (Ceará) to the Brazilian capital (Brasilia), for professional reasons. The research was based on the conceptual framework and methodological proposal of Socionomy (Jacob Levy Moreno), which have been an important tool for analysis of groups in the process of transformation. The subjects were two families of middle socioeconomic class, who participated in four sessions of thematic Sociodrama in group: 1. Dynamics of belongings and idealized family images, 2. Historical drama (drawing) of the migration, 3. Sociometry of the migration, 4. Future perspectives of the migrant family. This study aims to: 1. introduce the main concepts that guided the problematics of research; 2. discuss the scope of Sociodrama as a qualitative research method; 3. display the table “belonging analysis”, presented in discussion of the thesis, from the critical aspects of the experience of the group; 4. stablish common elements for the investigation of new contemporary migratory movements in Brazil and the world.

Actions in oncology service’s waiting room: experience report

The “Sala deEspera” Extension Project, initiated in 2011, was created by the UFC Psychology Tutorial Education Program to act in “Centro Pediátrico do Câncer” (Pediatric Cancer Centre) in partnership with the “Associação Peter Pan” (Fortaleza), developing prevention, promotion and rehabilitation in Psycho-oncology. The project develops psychological, recreational and socio-educational interventions with children and adolescents and their parents or relatives while the patients are in the waiting room waiting the call to do invasive procedures. This paper describes the experience of the “Sala de Espera” Extension Project, discussing its importance in the psychological training.Every action is unique, despite the use of the same logistics: first the selection and the supply of materials for the local group then the presentation of the instrument produced by participants themselves – an illustrated album –in order to share, in a simple and reliable way, information on tests carried out in that space, which can generate fears and fantasies in patients and family memberswho do not follow the procedures. In addition to the benefits of the project to this public, the activities promote professional and social training of the students involved, through the daily learning and contact with patients and family members in this health care context.

Worker´s health in the university: a successful partnership at UFC

The changes on the labor world, that bring features like threats to the labor context and greater labor flexibility, have generated, as a consequence, an increase in psychological distress and illness in several organizational levels. Given the demand from UFC’s workers and managers, the Pro-Rectory of Personnel Management (PROGEP-UFC) and the Núcleo de Psicologia do Trabalho (NUTRA-UFC) develop, since 2009, practices whose main objective is to promote health and improve life quality in the work context. Among these practices, we highlight the ELABORar project and the “Saúde do Trabalhador em Debate” project. The first project is concerned about collective interventions with the federal workers, based in the theoretical and methodological framework of the Clinic of Activity, discussed by Yves Clot. The second project has, as its purpose, popularize discussions about workers’ health by posts in the blog “Vida no Trabalho” and also through participation on monthly programs on the UFC’s college radio for 2 years. The results of these projects have been positively assessed by the participants of the interventions, as the projects have eased a greater role of workers to develop changes in their work’s conditions and organization, encouraging interpersonal relationships in the workplace and thus contributing to improve health in the labor space.

The Drug Studies Center, called NUCED, part of to the Psychology Department of the Federal University of Ceará, founded in 2004, has worked in training students of psychology course to awakening them to the care of themselves and others, such as harm reduction actions (RD). In this work we seek to present the teaching work, research and extension carried out by NUCED, based in the inclusion of welcoming and not prohibitionist practices in the health field. Therefore, we stand in favor of strategic actions that corroborate with the “anti-asylum struggle”, we are against compulsory admissions, such as any discrimination of drug users. We encourage health actions that strengthen ties in the art of the meeting to reinvent our lives. The NUCED promotes transdisciplinary practices, promoting health and caring for yourself in the academic community and the general population, expanding the training curriculum of the students, encouraging them to develop studies and actions based on comprehensive health care.

The experience of extension in cine Freud, culture and art

This article aims to present the general objectives of the extension project Cine Freud, Culture and Art, as well as to bring some reflexions about the project in its nine years of existence. The expansion of psychology courses in Ceará: studying the teacher’s training through the documentary research

The report is a study about the expansion of Psychology courses in Ceará and the corresponding subjects of their academic programs, aiming to unveil knowledge about teaching practices and proposing actions that add quality to this expansion. The main question that this research attempts to answer refers to the profile of the curriculum presented in the courses which is part of compulsory subjects of the studying programs of the period between the second and sixth academic semester with respect to the professional formation, teaching methodology and assesment of the students’ learning level. It is a documentary research that uses the content analysis as methodological procedures in order to infer categories that help to know the practices of the psychological education. The results in the survey were analyzed from the perspective of the Critical Pedagogy. Disciplines programs seem to be very well elaborated. But it is clear the need for further studies that include in their methodolgy the listening to teachers because these considered programs do not correspond to the actual teaching practices. It is proposed as an educational challenge to revitalize these psycholgy teaching programs so that they can go beyond their crystallization in the form of a quod scriptum, scriptum est and in order to follow the dynamics of societal settings and contemporary subjectivities.

The development of the scale of transition and academic adaptation

The experience lived by new students in universities consists of many facets. During the first year of University, students go through a process of academic adaptation marked by change. This multidimensional and complex period needs to be investigated, especially in the Brazilian context, in which many changes have occurred in the process of the selection procedures to higher education and only few studies have been developed to assess the difficulties of adaptation of new college students. The aim of this study was to develop an instrument to evaluate the experience of academic transition faced by new students. 275 students of two public universities participated in the research. The instrument was inspired by the Academic Transition Experiences Questionnaire – QETA – introduced by Stocker and Faria (2008), in Portugal. The analysis used the SPSS – Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, and principles of factor analysis: principal components extraction techniques and direct Oblimin rotation, with the reliability test, Alpha of Cronbach. The scale was set in 5 dimensions. The results confirm the relevance of some dimensions, such as peers and teachers, and bring evidence of the importance of secondary education for the study on the transition and adaptation in the academic context.

The world of work as an impasse in the process of deinstitutionalization

Practices aimed at the deinstitutionalization process are still very recent in Brazil and are still developing. The purpose of this writing is to reflect on how laboring in the contemporary society can be a possible complication in this process. The importance of the issue is due to the fact that it is influenced by our work that we organize much of our lives and build our subjectivity, making us think that the labor sphere can influence the process of deinstitutionalization since patients, families and professionals are immersed in the contemporary working methods. Discussions raised are the result of a literature review on research bases Scielo, LILACS, Capes and BVS, using the keywords “deinstitutionalization” and “family.” (desinstitucionalização and família in portuguese). The thematic “work” is supported by authors such as Antunes (2003; 2015), Dejours (2004; 2010), Ehrenberg (2010), Lipovetsky (2007). From the reflections raised by theoreticians of Mental Health and critic streams of Social Work Psychology, this critical essay led us to considerations that link labor, in current form, as a complicator for the deinstitutionalization process. Also, the objective and subjective burdens resulting from the complexity of this process are taken in account.
