This article proposes to contribute for the existing debate on prevention and strategies to avoid gender violence against women. The study sought to research how this theme has been portrayed in Brazilian Academic Productions at the field of psychology, aiming to problematize how the intersection between markers of race, gender and social classes are addressed by author's field, and analyzing the psychosocial repercussions of violence against women. A literature review on the topic of domestic violence in scientific articles published specifically from the SciELO database was used as a method. As a result, it was found that the phenomenon of violence needs ample care, improving support and supporting those women and families affected by the context of violence, and that there is a great need to consider the discussions and interventions in an intersectional way. In conclusion, it was possible to understand through the evaluated studies that there are factors that interfere in the production and maintenance of the experienced oppression.  As conclusion it is understood the need for psychology to dialogue with other fields of action, in order to contribute to the construction of knowledge based on social problems, and in order to encourage the development of preventive studies with more effective strategies.

This integrative literature review aims to map Brazilian articles from the maternal sensitivity perspective, based on a search in the CAPES Portal databases, more specifically in BVS Brasil and SciELO, carried out in 2019, and updated in the first half of 2020, using the descriptors “maternal sensitivity”, “maternal sensitivity and brazil" and "maternal sensitivity and vulnerability". The inclusion criteria were empirical articles carried out in Brazil, published in the last 10 years (2010-2020) in Portuguese, with unrestricted access in full text. 685 references were found and only 14 studies were analyzed in full because they met the criteria established in this research. It is noticed that some factors have a negative impact on maternal sensitivity, such as living in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability; the mother's mental health and the fragility of her support network. There is a shortage of Brazilian productions on this theme and of interventional research with the mother-baby dyad, demonstrating the relevance of this article.

The study aims to provide bibliometric data of the theses and dissertations presented between 2001 and 2019 in the Brazilian graduate programs in Psychology. Through a bibliometric analysis, it was possible to verify the number of studies by Higher Education Institutions, number of pages, number of studies per year and the themes most searched by the authors. The most important contribution is about the most used keywords, and the five most frequent are: Psychoanalysis, Psychology, Family, Social Psychology and Mental Health. The article allows a very broad view of the development of graduate studies in Psychology in the analyzed period.

This study aims at discussing the mentally ill criminal category in light of the former Heitor Carrilho Custody and Treatment hospital female inmate´s life remains for more than three decades, named Maria dos Anjos by taking into account: a.  the articulation between two conundrums of human nature, crime and madness encompassed by the term mentally ill criminal; b. the damaging consequences of one among many diagnoses assigned to her, namely psychopathy; c. the subjective damages that arose from long periods of institutionalization as well as her life remains and some practices of resistance employed throughout her institutional career. Inmate´s file records, research field notes that have registered activities in and out of the institution and transcripts of research interviews granted by the patient integrate the research data. The analysis has pointed out that a winding life story is marked by a path on different custodial and treatment institutions and by nuances which indicates that the selected intervention strategies have not been followed by the expected clinical effects since Maria dos Anjos remained delusional. It is also highlighted that the doubt whether the intern would have benefited more from a treatment in a forensic hospital or a prison has remained.

Há mulheres na perversão? Essa pergunta serve de título para o livro de Lígia Furtado Mendonça (2018), a qual é resultado de seu percurso significativo de pesquisa acadêmica dedicada à temática das perversões. O livro trata das relações possíveis entre a estrutura perversa e o feminino, a partir da Psicanálise. Como afirma a própria autora, o seu objetivo é o de confrontar posições teóricas, não unânimes, que reservam a possibilidade da existência de uma estrutura perversa ao campo do masculino. Encontra-se  dividido em sete capítulos que orbitam em torno de  três tópicos: o primeiro dedica-se ao modo como a perversão era compreendida antes do surgimento da Psicanálise,  e por seu entendimento propriamente freudiano e lacaniano. De forma mais específica, diríamos que o livro retoma a teorização acerca das perversões em Freud a partir de um marco teórico lacaniano, o qual serve à delimitação das concepções diferencias do feminino e do masculino a partir da lógica da sexuação e de sua consequente aplicação ao domínio das perversões.

This development does not, however, seem to be exclusive to Brazil: the fascist state of mind has been spreading in other “democracies” across the planet.

O livro Enfermeiras e famílias: guia para avaliação e intervenção na família, traduzido para os idiomas português, francês, japonês, coreano e sueco, é conhecido como o Modelo Calgary. O material aborda a atuação da Enfermagem de família com o objetivo de melhorar o conhecimento clínico e as habilidades de atendimento, com foco na unidade familiar, além de prover atualização sobre o tema. Publicado em 2012, encontra-se em sua quinta edição, com 365 páginas, tendo como organizadoras as enfermeiras doutoras canadenses Lorraine M. Wright e Maureen Leahey. Ambas são docentes da Universidade de Calgary, em Alberta, no Canadá, e membros da Canadian Nurses Association. Desde fins da década de 1980, elas vêm desenvolvendo e aperfeiçoando o Modelo Calgary, o qual tem tido boa aceitação e sido aplicado em muitas partes do mundo.

Veicula-se na impressa leiga e científica informações sobre o crescente número de mulheres acometidas pelo câncer mamário. Como poupar mulheres e familiares de tamanha dor ao vivenciarem esse fragelo? Quais direitos asssitem as mulheres com câncer?

There is not any statistics related to encouraging breast cancer along the past century, and there has not been any in present century. It has been published in the scientific and lay press information on the crescent number of women attacked by breast cancer. How to spare women and family members of such pain when they experience this disease? Which rights provide assistance to the women with cancer?

Objetivou-se identificar o risco cardiovascular de diabéticos cadastrados por uma Equipe de Saúde da Família. Estudo transversal, realizado em Aracaju, SE, Brasil, em outubro e novembro de 2012. Foi utilizado o escore de Framingham em 80 diabéticos de ambos os sexos. Os participantes tinham entre 30 a 74 anos, e a maioria (70%) era mulher. Pelo escore de Framingham houve maior proporção (45,8%) de risco alto entre os homens e 41,1% das mulheres apresentavam risco médio de desencadear as doenças cardiovasculares. Não foram observadas diferenças estatisticamente significativa entre os sexos e os níveis de LDL-colesterol e HDL-colesterol. Estiveram presentes, portanto, risco cardiovascular médio entre mulheres e risco alto entre os homens, o que permitiu apontar possibilidade do desencadeamento de alterações cardiovasculares entre pessoas com diabetes atendidas na Atenção Primária de Saúde. Urge adotar estratégias de promoção da saúde que possibilitem um aumento do controle do risco cardiovascular na população assistida.

One aimed to identify cardiovascular risk of diabetics registered by a family health team. Cross-sectional study, conducted in the city of Aracaju, in October and November 2012. Framingham score was used in 80 diabetics of both genders. The participants were between 30 to 74 years old, and the majority (70%) were women. By Framingham score, there was a higher proportion (45.8%) of high risk among men and 41.1% of women were at medium risk of triggering cardiovascular disease. No statistically significant differences were observed between genders and the levels of LDL-cholesterol and HDL-cholesterol.  However, average cardiovascular risk among women and high risk among men was present, which points to the possibility of triggering cardiovascular changes among people with diabetes attended in Primary Health Care. Adopting health promotion strategies which allow for increased cardiovascular risk control in the assisted population is recommended.

Objetivou-se identificar como a gestão de segurança é aplicada pelo enfermeiro no âmbito do gerenciamento do cuidado de enfermagem, e analisar os seus desafios nas enfermarias de onco-hematologia pediátrica. Pesquisa descritiva, qualitativa, realizada no Instituto Estadual de Hematologia Arthur de Siqueira Cavalcanti, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brasil, em agosto de 2013. Seis enfermeiros foram entrevistados e utilizou-se a análise temática. Os aspectos fundamentais relacionaram-se à importância do treinamento e educação permanente, ao trabalho em equipe, aos desafios no cuidado à criança hospitalizada e às particularidades da doença, e à sistematização, ao uso de instrumentos e protocolos. Para a segurança da criança, a articulação entre a administração e assistência é fundamental, em prol da qualidade.

This study aimed at identifying how safety management is applied by nurses to manage the nursing care, and at analyzing their challenges in onco-hematology pediatric wards. Descriptive and qualitative research, conducted at the Instituto Estadual de Hematologia Arthur de Siqueira Cavalcanti, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in August 2013. Six nurses were interviewed, and the content analysis was used. The key aspects relate to the importance of training and continuing education, teamwork, with the challenges in the care of hospitalized children and particularities of the disease, and the systematization, use of instruments and protocols. For child safety, the relationship between the administration and support is critical to the quality of care.

Objetivou-se caracterizar as chamadas do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência que não geraram atendimento no Estado de Santa Catarina, SC, Brasil, no período de 2007 a 2010. Estudo documental, cujos dados foram coletados de relatórios do serviço, sendo observadas 393.912 chamadas falsas (trotes). O principal motivo para que as saídas das equipes nãoresultassem em atendimento foi à remoção da vítima do local por terceiros. Os demais foram recusa do atendimento, evasão do local e endereço incorreto. Houve diferenças significativas (p<0,05) entre os anos estudados, quanto às chamadas recebidas pelo serviço móvel e o número de trotes recebidos nas macrorregiões do Estado. Os resultados indicam a necessidadede investimentos em ações de educação em saúde, reduzindo custos e aumentando a resolutividade. Também é necessário melhorar a comunicação entre o serviço móvel e os demais serviços (Polícia Militar e Corpo de Bombeiros) diminuindo o número de saídas.

It is a documentary study to characterize Mobile First-Aid Medical Services calls that did not provide assistance in the state of Santa Catarina, SC, Brazil from 2007 to 2010. Data were collected from assistance reports, being noticed 393,912 prank phone calls to the institution. The main reason for the assistance not being provided was the removal of the victim by thirdparties. The others were refusal of care, the removal of the patient and incorrect address. There were significant differences (p<0.05) between the years under study concerning the calls received by the Mobile First-Aid Medical Services and the number of prank phone calls received in the state macro-regions. The results indicate the need of investment in health educationactivities, reducing costs and increasing effectiveness. It is also necessary to improve communication between Mobile First-Aid Medical Services and the other services (Military Police and Fire Brigade) reducing the number of assistance.

Objetivou-se analisar a influência da graduação no preparo para o gerenciamento em Enfermagem com 22 egressos de uma Universidade Pública do Sul do Brasil. Pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, cuja coleta de dados ocorreu nos meses de fevereiro a abril de 2010, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os dados foram analisados pela técnica do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. Como resultados surgiram as ideias centrais: influência da graduação na capacitação; utilização de instrumentos gerenciais nas ações gerenciais; lacunas na parte prática das disciplinas; sugestões para mudanças. Apontou-se a fragmentação dos conteúdos das disciplinas, ações gerenciais com enfoque produtivista no fazer, necessidade de reestruturação curricular, melhoria nos campos da prática e das parcerias ensino/serviço. Há dificuldades para o enfermeiro perceber a dimensão gerencial no seu processo de trabalho e desenvolver competências gerenciais na prática profissional.

A study with a qualitative approach aiming to analyze the influence of undergraduate education on preparing for management in Nursing. The study was conducted with 22 graduates from a Public University in Southern Brazil. This research had data collected between the months of February and April through semi-structured interviews. Data was analyzed by the Collective Subject Discourse technique. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Paraná. The following central ideas were found as a result: how undergraduate studies influence professional performance; use of managerial tools in managerial procedures; gaps found in subjects’ practical training sessions; suggestions for improvement. The research revealed fragmentation of subject contents, managerial procedures of doing with a productive approach, the need of curricular restructuring, improve training in the field and teaching/work partnership improvement. It is difficult for nurses to understand the managerial scope of its working process and to develop managerial competencies in professional practice.

Trata-se de um estudo transversal realizado em três ambulatórios especializados no atendimento às doenças infecciosas no município de Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brasil, com o objetivo de identificar a prevalência de coinfecções e comorbidades em pessoas vivendo com HIV/Aids. Foram analisadas variáveis demográficas e clínicas de 498 prontuários de pacientes do período de dezembro/2004 a junho/2010. Os dados analisados por meio de estatística descritiva mostram média de idade de 39,3 anos, variando de 17 a 71 anos, com 295 (59,2%) indivíduos do sexo masculino. Foram observadas 390 (78,3%) comorbidades, destacando-se a dislipidemia 126 (25,3%), trigliceridemia 68 (13,7%), hepatite C 68 (13,7%), candidíase oral 60 (12,0%), doenças sexualmente transmissíveis 57 (11,4%) e tuberculose 51 (10,2%). Em função das diferentes comorbidades considera-se oportuno que sejam traçadas estratégias especiais de acompanhamento, visando o diagnóstico e intervenção precoce.
