Criança adventista: um estudo sobre a evangelização infantil
This dissertation is the proposal of thinking children and religion, where I started the idea of junior pastors, and reaching observation of children in Adventist church evangelism. Start with a presentation, as I will talk about children, back to memories of my childhood. Do a general introduction, stating what will be presented in each chapter, from the choice of the name of the dissertation, the religion in the city of João Pessoa. Divided into four chapters that work. So I detail in the first chapter the methodology used and the role of the researcher to Sociology, stating what worked, and what did not, and showing brief field notes. Then follow the second chapter to bring observations, description, analysis and interpretation of the field studied in Sabbath School, the group of Primary Adventist church, a chapter, I could watch and see the contributions of evangelization for socializing children through school I attended the drawings I had with the children, and talks with them, and with teachers. I continue watching activities and data of the study group, with drawings. The third chapter is constituted as a theoretical chapter on children and childhood by examining theories about this social actor, the child, observing the concept of agency, and the union of religion and child concepts. The fourth chapter conclude the idea of evangelization and show socialization through which noted the church, uniting with theories that help to interpret the actions of children and adults Adventist church, because the concept of socialization helps to think about the concept of agency child. So also bring issues like body that socializes in religious education.I conclude by summarizing important ideas and concepts finalizing the text.

Práticas sociais e espaço urbano: diferentes cartografias e representações sobre o Bairro Frei Damião
This work takes as field Frei Damião district, in Juazeiro do Norte city, Ceará, to reflect on the images of outskirts that has been built about this place, the social practices of its inhabitants and its urban space. The area of Frei Damião neighborhood is defined by the municipality as a wide area that makes boundary with others counties. However, residents and other inhabitants of the city restrict the neighborhood to a region of rectangular geometric shape, densely populated. Taking this last representation of the territory as research locus, it was realized that this region is divided into three different areas, either by neighborhood residents and other inhabitants of Juazeiro do Norte. These areas, called by us as “territorialities” are: “Vila Real”, “Frei Damião” and “Baixa da Raposa”. In addition to this segmentation, the social networks of relationships around the four religious chapels that are in the neighborhood and the soccer games played by young male men in improvised fields, the "rachas", operate new cartographies of the space. To understand these areas is necessary to know the specific characteristics of each one, the relations between them, the understanding of the neighborhood as a whole and the relations between the district and the city. These territorialities are marked by symbolic boundaries and socio-spatial hierarchical stratifications constituted by: images and self-images, nomination systems, historical origins, the regulation of social life intensity, distribution of public and private facilities and patterns. These territorial and social dynamics lead us to question the very notion of district and think about the friction between different mappings and social practices of the residents. of housing. In addition, the historical origin of the district Frei Damiao also helps us clarify this urban dynamics and its presentations in the city and by the city, assigning the district as a “slum” or periphery. The structuring of the neighborhood, after the urban settlement that originated it, was planned keeping in view his arrest as peripherals / slum. It turns out forms of trading of its representation and its implications on the local urban space.

Travestis, o gênero inventado: um confronto com o estado da arte
This thesis seeks to understand the process by which the transvestites enter the discourses of gender as elements of social exclusion. Ie, this Thesis is to seek the most fundamental meaning of this supposed exclusion held by disciplinary power. Demand, of course, question the foundational bases under which the transvestites appear in your reality genre as well, resize your entire oppositional political character. Thus, transvestites are not presented as individuals who touched the disciplinary power merely delete them for reasons of irregularity rules, but to bring it to the place where they have always been: to his statement. So do not play that character overdue, humiliated and excluded as common in the group of transvestites individual research on this thesis. I searched through solid arguments demonstrate the strong and independent constitutive character transvestite, ie, sought to demonstrate that the basis of gender was less of transvestites seated under revolucinarias, insurrectionary, contesting political bases. As will be seen, its foundational character finds in his will to dominate.
A construção da imagem pública das parlamentares paraibanas eleitas para a Assembleia Legislativa no pleito de 2010
This dissertation aims to analyze the process of building the public image of four state deputies occupying a seat in the “Assembléia Legislativa”, located in the city of João Pessoa, Paraíba. They are: Léa Toscano, Iraê Lucena, Daniella Ribeiro and Gilma Germano. Our purpose is to understand, through the reports uttered during interviews with these parliamentarians, how they placed themselves in politics, what they think about that universe and what are their future plans in that sphere. The theoretical basis of our work is related to the literature that deals with the political inclusion and participation of women, as well as on political culture and public image building. We know that for too long women have been excluded from this area of power, being men mostly the universal protagonists of the political scene. The participation in political fields as active citizens was only granted to our women after several struggles for rights. Persons that always have lived in a subordinate situation, women are currently managing to break down the barriers of prejudice and gender discrimination. It can see, in the speech of parliamentarians interviewed, strong trace of a policy anchored on the family name and this justified precisely because all had as input in public life the family heritage. It is also evident in the discourse of informants that women as candidates tend to use symbols that refer to ethics and morality, or even "feminine values" that always have been allocated to "natural" way simply because they are women, such as: sensitivity, gentleness, sincerity, kindness, among others. All this works, however, for political women in general, as an strategy affirmation in this power space.

Consumismo, compulsão e felicidade: a representação social da felicidade nas práticas de consumo compulsivo
This research results from an attempt to deepen a sociological study on the relationship between consumerism and happiness. We sought from a survey of compulsive consumers of the city of João Pessoa /PB and compulsive consumers recovering from Natal /RN try to understand how widely gives the relationship between the practices of compulsive consumption and the idea of happiness. The theme of this dissertation is conceptually located in consumer culture using as reference a culture that, from modernity, reorganizes itself symbolically and materially articulating key issues relating to the form of organization of everyday life. Consumer culture is presented as a key area of contemporary societies and directly affects the formation of identities and subjectivities of individuals, putting into focus the ways in which it articulates the central issues relating to the organizational forms of postmodern society has implications in construction of values and identities that articulate the phenomenon of consumerism. The idea of happiness itself is modified in this social context. Thus, the objective in this dissertation is to understand how the idea of happiness represented among binge practices, and between the behavior of compulsive consumers of the city of João Pessoa /PB and Natal /RN. To arrive at such an understanding, we will on the theme of identity processes, as well as the thematic mechanisms of a capitalist consumer society, such as advertising and other marketing and financial craftsmen in a postmodern society has been busy assigning meanings and values to the goods and the subjective experience of consumption. These mechanisms, as we shall see, are primarily responsible for reprocessing and/or reframe the idea of happiness as the ideal of the current consumer society. There emerges another key point of this dissertation, the pursuit of happiness that becomes compulsive as well as the urgency and the purchase by the consumer. Thus, we analyze how happiness is represented in the practices and behavior of nine women by compulsive consumption activity and the activity of buying, becoming a goal and purpose in life.

Um framework para testes de software na nuvem
Cloud Computing infrastructures can be used to make the testing process more efficient and effective, resulting from lower costs of acquisition of infrastructure to the flexibility of using only the resources actually required to perform the tests. However, exploiting such infrastructures to assist in the testing process requires automation and setup procedures not always available. In this context, we identified the lack of tools that effectively automate the entire process and make a cloud computing infrastructure part of the development and testing environment. This work presents a solution that distributes and coordinates the parallel execution of automated software testing in distributed and heterogeneous environments. This solution, called CloudTesting, provides the necessary support to developers to perform unit tests in the cloud. Experiments performed with CloudTesting in a cloud computing infrastructure showed reductions of more than 20 hours of execution time spent of a condensed set of unit tests.

Itinerários terapêuticos e novas tecnologias reprodutivas: estudo sobre acesso de mulheres na busca por filhos no hospital Universitário Lauro Wanderley
This paper discusses about the Therapeutic Itineraries and New Reproductive Technologies conceptive . In this sense, we intend to understand how low-income couples are having access to technical and medical procedures that allow couples somehow unable to have their children. This work aims to understand the therapeutic itineraries that are traversed by couples wishing to have children , that is , the paths taken by women in pursuit of biomedicine to overcome the difficulties in having children . The research was conducted at University Hospital Lauro Wanderley ( HULW ) in João Pessoa ( PB ) through semi-structured interviews applied to women who are seeking family planning services because they can not get pregnant . Research has shown us some interesting points , such as : most women have several difficulties to access the services of HULW . The analysis of therapeutic itineraries of these women revealed that the search for a child is part of the “social pressure " to have children and , further , that the desire for children is a social desire, which was socially constructed , and that women will submit to medicalization to account for the realization of this desire . Or, some of these women said it was not only their dreams , but their husband's dream. It is noteworthy that although the State says that there is a family planning we realized that there is a plan , but that this planning is only focused on the female's body and health, considering that such plan does not include man 's human boby and health .

Nas entrelinhas da moda: uma análise da experiência do consumo de moradoras do bairro São José, em João Pessoa - PB
To make contemporary western societies centrality, consumption has become the reason of interest as sociological theme and centrality in the scientific field also won, becoming the subject of academic papers in various areas of knowledge in an interdisciplinary exchange. So, Bringing this broader debate about the centrality of the consumption in contemporary Western societies to the specificity of the studies on consumption and practices within the different social segments that examine these practices in different social strata reveal a set of own meanings that extend the studies on this topic, considering that for a long time managed by that logic material individuals of popular classes were disqualified as consumers, was denied to this social segment meanings themselves. In this sense, recognizing that the different social classes have differentiated representations and understanding the importance of knowing the meanings present in consumer practices of individuals, this research seeks to contribute to the debate about the phenomenon of consumption and its unfolding in the daily life of popular classes in the panorama of Brazil. We propose then reviewing the experience of consuming sets of a group of women living in a popular class neighborhood located in the city of João Pessoa, capital Northeast. We will show that this experience of consumption takes place based on the tension between the assertion of an identity as a way of denying the fashion and the search for social recognition that end up influencing the choices and consumption practices of these women.

Ninguém é de ferro: a construção da corporeidade em uma academia de ginástica feminina de um bairro popular em João Pessoa
The following research is centered on the construction of the female body in contemporary society, from the development of an ethnographic experience in a women’s fitness gym, located in a popular neighborhood in the city of João Pessoa, during the period from December 2012 to December 2013. The objectives of the study are to investigate how the body is built on the practices and discourses of a women’s fitness center, which control mechanisms, and profiles of femininity constituted in everyday fitness facility. Moreover, it is also a main interest of this study to examine the practices of an organized sociability, as to understand the socio anthropological construction of the body in the context of those health centers. The research involves middle-aged adult women attending a women's fitness club and the results are structured into main axes of analysis, namely: the morality of practices around the body, the represented tangible types and the not stated performance identified by body movements. The study revealed that the corporeality is constituted by a broad network of meanings that involves my own body as revealed the survey. Therefore, the femininity stands out and pervades the maternal, the marital, the media and the religious fields, such as the changes that happen during the middle-aged period; a dynamic of permanent construction between subjects and the social environment.

Modelagem e simulação do deslocamento de pessoas para estimativa de formação de grupos
The use of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) has been widespread in many areas of research and application. The purpose of this work is a study on how to use sensors to monitor people on the move, having a WSN as a way in which the search will occur, but in order to predict the formation of groups in certain regions. For this work the network was designed and tested in the simulator Ptolemy II, using the ZigBee Communication protocol, where the sensors were positioned according to a Cartesian coordinate system. The WSN will detect people and identify common patterns of movement, such as speed, direction and type of movement, using parameters set in the simulator. People involved in the groups will be identified by RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) attached to his body. The movement of the crowd had its mathematical formalization based on parameters such as position of the group, number of people per group and duration of movement that define the characteristics necessary to simulate this scenario. From the formalization of the movement of the crowd, many data are collected at predetermined time intervals and interpreted by an algorithm, through the exchange of messages between sensors, estimates the crowd forming in the region defined as the target. In this work, were inserted charts and graphs that reflect the actual number of people moving towards the real target. These data are generated from the intense exchange of messages between sensors, obeying some parameters that favor established and the algorithm that estimates the crowd at the target formation at any given time. The accuracy of the prediction was measured by the amount of alarms issued that estimate and the formation of agglomerations of people in a given region. Thus, the identification of individuals by sensors is interpreted according to the possibility of formation of groups and their values disseminated by the network. The proposal is that this action will facilitate the process of decision making and thus help to characterize the formation of crowds.
Dispositivos de informação: arquivos, memórias e informação
This piece of research analyzes the dynamics of the information phenomenon as a tool for the development of the logics and values present in the tables of Social Memory built and managed within the archival spaces. Therefore, this study favors the notion of "device" as elaborated in the work of Michel Foucault from a circular axis idea involving knowledge/power/ ethics and derivations as "information devices". The employed concepts and notions are developed in a privileged perspective of the interrelation among Information Science/Philosophy/Social Sciences.

Proteção às crianças e aos adolescentes em processo de escolarização à luz dos direitos humanos: o serviço de convivência e fortalecimento de vínculos
This work had the analysis of social protection measures as its object, in their relation with the process of schooling of children and adolescents and its main goal was to analyze the effects of the service of companionship and strengthening of bonds, in the schooling of children and adolescents in the rural community of Odilândia, in SantaRita/PB. Using the principles and theoretical reference of the Human Rights as a reference, the study sought to identify the students‟ school development after the implantation of the SCFV, aiming to measure its possible contributions and to guarantee students‟ insertion, reinsertion and permanence at school. In total, 12 people participated in this research, 6 adolescents and 6 educators. The instrument used was the semi-structured interview and with it, it was possible to obtain information about these people‟s everyday life with the programs PETI and “Projovem Adolescente”. Besides the interviews, the study also used institutional documents such as reports and planning regarding the SCFV (data obtained from the Brazilian System of Protection and Income Transference Programs), the school (students‟ frequency, students who pass, fail and evade) and the IDEB (result s of the evaluation of “Provinha Brasil”, done by second-grade students and “Prova Brasil”, for fifth to ninth-grade students at Arnaldo Bonifácio School). The research had a qualitative character and used as its theoretical-methodological reference the critical thinking and the presuppositions of the human rights such as: democracy, plain citizenship, right to human and intellectual development and to social policies. In order to do so, the following analysis indicators were adopted: insertion, permanence and frequency at school and at SCFV; the intersections between these policies; students‟ level of learning, number of students who pass and fail; and the separation from SCFV and returning to work. The information regarding the interviews, as well as all of the documents were systematized and analyzed using the technique of content analysis proposed by Bardin (1977). Lastly, concerning the difficulties observed at the school, it was evident that the combination of governmental measures and strategies, such as the Income Transference Programs (PETI and PBF) and “Projovem Adolescente” (currently SCFV) didn‟t result in the assessment of the problems related to children‟s and adolescents‟ schooling, presenting a disconnection and disarticulation with the reality of the rural community in the activities performed, depriving preventing and anticipatory actions from their character and not guaranteeing their definitive separation from work.

Recomendação semântica de conteúdo em ambientes de convergência digital
The emerging scenario of interactive Digital TV (iDTV) is promoting the increase of interactivity in the communication process and also in audiovisual production, thus rising the number of channels and resources available to the user. This reality makes the task of finding the desired content becoming a costly and possibly ineffective action. The incorporation of recommender systems in the iDTV environment is emerging as a possible solution to this problem. This work aims to propose a hybrid approach to content recommendation in iDTV, based on data mining techniques, integrated the concepts of the Semantic Web, allowing structuring and standardization of data and consequent possibility of sharing information, providing semantics and automated reasoning. For the proposed service is considered the Brazilian Digital TV System and the middleware Ginga. A prototype has been developed and carried out experiments with NetFlix database using the measuring accuracy for evaluation. There was obtained an average accuracy of 30% using only mining technique. Including semantic rules obtained average accuracy of 35%.

GenNormas: um processo genérico para a conformidade legal na engenharia de requisitos
In software development process, Requirements Engineering is responsible for identifying what are the objectives of the desired product, its features, activities and constraints, based on the understanding of the scenario where this product is used and/or expected behaviors by users. To interact directly or indirectly with the people, the products and the processes impacted by them, are required to comply with the legal regulations related and found in the legal rules or laws. At the organizational level, these regulations determine how business practices should be, which will be reproduced for their products/processes. The Legal Compliance is a requirement imposed on organizations by government departments and their non-compliance may result in legal and financial problems for these organizations. It is the role of Requirements Engineering dealing with legal compliance in these scenarios. In this context, the Nòmos framework extends the i* framework to achieve legal compliance requirements of information systems and business processes. Nòmos proposes a systematic and cohesive method to achieve this goal, from the execution of activities of elicitation, modeling and negotiation of requirements and laws. However, Nòmos was designed to be used in requirements models represented in i*. Since i* is not widely used in industry, dependence on i* can hurt the adoption of Nòmos as a process to achieve legal compliance in Requirements Engineering. In this sense, this work proposes to adapt the process of Nòmos, making it less dependent on i* and more flexible to be used with other modeling languages requirements. So, was created the GenNormas, in order to guide the acquisition of legal compliance of software requirements or business processes specified in other modeling languages, in addition to i *. Finally, to illustrate the use of our approach, it has been applied in the specification of a hypothetical system, connected to the e-commerce domain, applying GenNormas in requirements specification models, such as the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), in Use Case Diagram and the User Stories.

Geração de layout de interfaces gráficas baseado em ontologias para documentos do Registro Eletrônico em Saúde
Health informatics is a domain that presents several challenges to be overcome. Electronic Health Records (EHR) are one of its most important subdomain, in charge of storage, exhibition, and manipulation of patient clinical information, among others. EHR systems require domain flexibility, which allows modifications in the structure of documents without application recompilation or redeployment, for instance, in a web server. Current approaches in the literature propose generic models to represent domain and presentation, without ontological definitions for user interface (UI) layout and style. These, when properly organized, improve the acceptance of the system by users. This work aims to develop a framework to layout and style generation for graphical user interface of EHR documents, based on Web Ontology Language (OWL) ontologies and using restrictions. By centralizing and combining metadata from biomedical and documents domains, it was possible to apply layout and style to EHR documents, with the use of grids, including additional ontological definition of presentation formats for the medical field, facilitating UI development and maintenance.

Recomendações para avaliação da experiência de usuário em aplicativos móveis para surdos
The use of mobile devices brings great benefits of connectivity to its users. However, access to information through these devices is a new challenge of interaction for users who have some kind of disability. Currently, most mobile applications have accessibility barriers that make it difficult or impossible the usage for many individuals with special needs. To ensure access to the content to all users regardless of their health status, this paper proposes a model for evaluating user interfaces accessibility focused on mobile devices. The proposed model takes into account the users experience without neglecting the specificities of mobile context and accessibility scenario. As a result, there is a group of perceptions observed from the tests performed to evaluate the three mobile applications developed for deaf. As a contribution, there is a group of recommendations for the evaluation of the user experience and the challenges and new perspectives to evaluate the mobile accessibility, given that few methods consider these two contexts in a coupled way.

Um estudo sobre os impactos dos relacionamentos sociais na avaliação do mérito científico
Social network analysis techniques can be used to extract knowledge from the network by analyzing the interactions between its members. In this work we intend to apply echniques of social network analysis on networks formed through scientific collaborations among researchers. Our objective with this study is to analyze if these collaboration connections may have any influence in the evaluation of scientific merit. We will focus our work on two specific scenarios. The first scenario targets the evaluation of individual merit for granting scholarships to researcher and is conducted by CNPQ, the Brazilian Research Council. The second scenario focus on the evaluation of graduate programs in the country and is conducted by CAPES, the governmental body entitled to evaluate and coordinate the graduate education program in Brazil. On both scenarios we will restrict our analysis to the Computer Science area.

Periódicos científicos eletrônicos nacionais de biblioteconomia e ciência da informação: estudos produzidos entre 2003 e 2013
With the documentary explosion and the multiple possibilities to access information provided by information and communication technologies, we see the proliferation of publications of all kinds, such as electronic journals, which facilitate access and dissemination of the research undertaken and allows greater flexibility in information retrieval. Due to the care undertaken by Brazilian funding agencies, such as the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (originally Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior – CAPES) and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (originally Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico – CNPq), it is evident the role of scientific journals in the academic context as indicators performance both for the institutions and for the researchers. After all, it is they which make public the researches developed after proper peer review, ensuring value to the publicized contents. The purpose is, therefore, analyze the production of postgraduate studies in information science (CI), through the national electronic journals listed in the Capes Journal Portal and qualified at concepts from A1 to B2, to identify the current state of research in the area. After that, operational objectives are: (1) discuss the science, their relations and contextualization within contemporary society; (2) explore the academic production in the contemporaneity contemplating the prospects of electronic journals; (3) identify the most debated topics in CI, through the analysis of articles published from 2003 to 2013; (4) detect the topics of articles aiming to project thematic similarities and differences within the interdisciplinarity, including the identification of important issues and not covered. To achieve the objectives, in theoretical terms, discusses, initially, the science in contemporary society, following chapter about the foundations of CI and its relation to scientific communication, in which emphasize perspectives and interdisciplinary relationships and research lines of the area of knowledge focused. The fourth chapter evidences the scientific journals with emphasis on electronic context. The methodological approach (chapter five) covers the typology of search (bibliographic of nature descriptive / case study) in time that discusses the techniques of collecting and analyzing data. Among the results discussed (chapter six), it is impossible review them all, cited some items. Regarding the current research situation, it verifies that increase research in CI follows the expansion of the Graduate Programs in Information Science (originally Programas de Pós-Graduação em Ciências da Informação – PPGCI) and expands as found in electronic journals, the means to intensify scientific communication and ratify interdisciplinary relations. Thus, records 48 theme categories in CI. Among them, Management has the highest incidence (191 articles), as opposed to classes as Administration and Environment and Sustainability, both with only seven studies. The year 2012, among the analyzed period, is the highest production rate. The library science, in turn, it has the highest number of interdisciplinary relations. In the end, are the concluding remarks of the study and the list of bibliographic and electronic sources consulted in drawing up the text.
A memória circunscrita: adoção e uso dos conceitos de memória nas dissertações do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação da Universidade Federal da Paraíba – PPGCI/UFPB.
One of the themes of study interest of Information Science is the memory, that constitutes the element of research in some graduate courses in Brazil, such as the Graduate Program in Information Science at the Federal University of Paraíba – PPGCI/UFPB, with concentration in Information, Knowledge and Society and two research lines: Memory, Organization, Access and Use of Information and Ethics, Management and Information Policy. From the perception of the need to build a memory very own concept of Information Science, and after reading the article entitled "The memory concepts in Information Science in Brazil: preliminary study on the theme of occurrence in the scientific production", authored by Eliane Oliveira Braga and Georgete Medleg Rodrigues, raised up the idea of researching the concept of memory in Information Science. Thus, the main objective of this research is to apprehend how it has been appropriated and used the concept of memory adopted in the dissertations of PPGCI/UFPB, from the analysis of these academic works. The specific objectives are: to map the dissertations in PPGCI/UFPB that use the concept of memory, locate the memory concepts found in the dissertations of the research line Memory, Organization, Access and Use of Information, recognize the concepts of memory used in the dissertations of that line of research and identify the theoretical frameworks of memory used in dissertations. To make possible this study, with regard to the methodological approach, research, document character, was descriptive regarding the objectives. Information sources used were the dissertations of PPGCI/UFPB, defended between 2009 and 2014. The approach was qualitative and the information sources used was the dissertations of the PPGCI/UFPB, defended between 2009 and 2014. The chosen empirical field was PPGCI/UFPB and dissertations constituted the corpus of the research. After this realized study, the 26 (twenty six) dissertations analyzed, it was revealed the predominance of socio-anthropological and historical senses in studies related to memory, especially by repeated citation of some names as Pierre Nora, Jacques Le Goff and Azevedo Netto, Professor‟s PPGCI/UFPB, which was the most cited author in the works. Although the objective of this research wasn‟t to suggest its own concept, based on Information Science, it hopes, somehow, to contribute to the construction of the Information Science with more consistent, in the sense that the data presented may raise new discussions that they can benefit from it.
