Maranhão photography, specifically São-Luísense, has been manifested in diverse productions originating from different stylistic aspects and purposes. It is observed that the photographic production carried out in São Luís follows the continuous flow of growth in general level, due to the ease of access, cost reduction and sharing of the digital era. To give a brief overview of local production, it is necessary to observe the events, prizes, independent productions of the photographers and relate them to the exhibition platforms used by the authors. With that, it aims to point out ways to establish an independent photographic production from the recent productions exhibited in unofficial spaces, without institutional ties.

Portuguese culture, among many aspects, is strongly marked by the period of maritime expansion and by the construction of the colonial empire, a time during which the profane-religious symbiosis manifests itself in all its civilizational splendor, visible in the material and immaterial heritage of Portuguese influence spread all over the world. As a result of a strategy that identifies the first structural decisions in the early fourteenth century with King D. Dinis, Portuguese imperial success fell victim to its own greatness and to the umbilical relationship between the Church and the political power, whose sins would be fatal and would facilitate a rapid decline dating back to the sixteenth century, whose causes and consequences were pointed out by contemporary voices. The Portuguese cultural features survived the empire and find their best expression in Brazil, an example of a cultural expression built of the sacred and the profane.

Aiming to rethink and re-evaluate the way teaching is done in schools and seeking new approaches to improve traditional education forms, it was developed an activity containing 16 questions about the song “Aqui no Mar”, sang by Diogo Nogueira, that can be worked in the Science and Biology disciplines. It is expected that the Science and Biology teachers have access to this activity and can, according to their proposals, work the different biological contents that are present in the lyrics. It is intended also to awaken the creativity of teachers, so that they can develop other activities like this in their educational practices.

Along the years, teaching of Art in interface with disability has had an increasing interest in the academic research field, mainly, in regard to special education; yet, studies are less spread when this teaching is discussed from an inclusive perspective. Thus, this present text is part of our Master’s Thesis: Drawing and Visual Impairment: A Visual Arts Teaching Experience from an Inclusive Educational Perspective, defended in 2015 at PPGEd/UFRN, aiming to contribute to the above mentioned discussion. The study belongs to the Visual Arts teaching field in the context of educational inclusion of students with visual impairments taking into account the participation of typical and visual impairment students, focusing on reading and drawing production research. The methodology approach used, from a qualitative nature, was action research, under the light of Bakhtinian’s principles of dialogism and alterity, with characteristics of an exploratory study design. The research took place in a state school located in Alecrim neighborhood, in the East area of Natal, RN, near the Institute of Education and Rehabilitation of Blinds – (IERC/RN). The chosen class for the intervention was the 7th C grade of the afternoon shift, with a total of 27 children raging from 12 to 16 years of age. 3 students out of 27 presented special educational needs, two blind girls and one boy with a mild visual and hearing impairment. Along the research 10 workshops with multisensory didactic sequences were provided, entwining corporal, tactile and graphic expressions. In this paper we will focus on the session called “Objects of the daily life” that is part of the first workshop of the intervention, describing and analyzing tactile exploration, corporal representation and visual-tactile drawing exercises. These exercises were systematized as actions that belong to the process of drawing production in school context, using the figurative drawing from the students own bodies as reference. The process and the data built in the research cause a reflection about the interactions between typical and visual impairment students in the production and the analyses of tactile-visual drawings. Interaction between peers was observed to be developed by verbal, tactile and corporal interchanges, occurring in each step of the didactic sequence that was proposed. Thus, demonstrating the students’ creativity in their choices, when developing the individual compositions, in pairs and collectively, involving the body and the sensory stimulations. Moreover, this process and the data, indicate the construction of a drawing teaching approach in the context of a typical classroom, being oriented by the multisensoriality pedagogic workshops that enable artistic and esthetic interactions in the school inclusion perspective.

Neste artigo destacamos um projeto realizado no âmbito educativo, entre a dança e a expressão corporal, procurando analisar e discutir a implementação e desenvolvimento desta arte do movimento, como contributo do processo de ensino. No propósito de fomentar a simultaneidade dança-educação, destacamos um projeto – “iDance – A.M.I.C.A.F.” onde as atividades artísticas corporais são o foco mobilizador de conceções fundamentais para os intervenientes e tendo como objetivo o desenvolvimento biopsicosociocultural e motor global dos mesmos. Evidenciamos, como a dança proporciona um aprimoramento do senso estético, e funciona como um instrumento fundamental, permitindo uma consciência das limitações e competências, além de uma infinidade de relações benéficas e progressivas, na interação da criança com esta arte, em âmbito escolar.

Brazilian culture, an important source of funds for music education, provides the human being experienced spontaneous learning and enriched by multiple factors. The five regions of Brazil: North, South, Northeast, Midwest and Southeast, have combined their states with similarities in physical, human, cultural, social and economic. Climatic and geographical conditions differentiated contribute significantly to the population acquire and cultivate their peculiarities as well as cultural influences from other countries and continents due to immigration of their peoples who settled here. This work will be addressed artistic expression characteristic of some states, highlighting the importance of multicultural integration with an emphasis on music, dance and poetry, as a fundamental resource for the Brazilian musical education.

In this paper we draw up a critical path of the concept and practice of the so-called postmigrant theatre, that has been developing itself as an independent theatrical practice since the dawn of the 21st century, first in the city of Berlin, but the in other German-speaking theatrical milieus. From the reconstruction of the background, history and fluctuations of the phenomenon, together with the consideration of some examples of postmigrant theatre in recent years, we provide a general theoretical-descriptive framework and we place special emphasis on the discussion of certain traits and ways of this kind of theatrical practice, as inciting changes in processes of institutionalization and consecration of theatre in the German cultural sphere. Finally, we propose a reflection of the phenomenon beyond the immediate contingency of his appearance, in order to discuss it as a “cultural ecology” (LADDAGA, 2006) that links its production and dynamics of work with the ones of other artistic formations of the beginning of the XXI century.

In the nineteenth century, there was a paradigm shift in history books published in Galicia; change that would be influenced by the incorporation of new romantic ideas and the emergence in the 40s of provincialism. This new time begins with the History of Galicia by Verea e Aguiar (1838), who exposed through his work a new vision of Galician history marked by the appearance of Celtism, having Manuel Murguía as the most representative. These historical accounts not only focused on historical facts, but also seeked to collect "traditions" and "customs", in line with what was already happening in other European countries, and which would be known as "Folklore". Then, within these "customs" there will be references to music and dance, which will be treated very differently by the authors.

This article aims to analyze the practices and interventions of the Community Music Degree students from ESELx / ESML in the context of their internship during the academic years 2015-2017. Following recent theoretical discussions on concepts such as Community Music or Intervention, we seek to situate the internship interventions and reflect on the methodology used by the students. In this sense, we highlight the Project Methodology as the main used methodology, namely in the planning, implementation and evaluation phases. The analysis allows us to characterize the interventions in terms of the internship contexts, target audiences, as well as which are the objectives and strategies of the projects. Through data analysis, it is possible to identify the flexibility of this methodology, designed to meet the characteristics of each context and acting as a catalyst for the creative energy of the different target audiences. The research allowed us to conclude that the interventions in this context are closely linked to the project methodology, reflecting the different phases in which it is structured and that it constitutes a central methodological reference in the scope of Community.

The point of view of this text is that of the anthropology of art or, more precisely, that of the anthropology of music, which aims to clarify, in the light of the contexts in which the life of the composer and his interpreters is shaped, the symbolic meaning of his work. If it is true that anthropology has the analytical, digital, diachronic and syntagmatic language of science, it is also increasingly evident that it is also endowed with the synthetic, analogical, synchronic and metaphorical language of art. If the first, dominant in the history of anthropology, tends to create an “objective” discourse about the artist as an actor and about his work taken as a distant “other”, the second seeks to create an understanding of his being as a “close”. By what processes does pure or program music acquire meaning in its interaction with the contexts (natural/cosmic included, psycho-socio-cultural, historical-political) of its creation and interpretation? This is the theoretical problem of this text. Critics and musicologists seem to converge on one point: the “bucolic”, “nostalgic” or “melancholic” character of much of Luiz Costa's program music, arguing with the composer's love for nature as a source of inspiration for these works. This is their point of arrival. As an anthropologist, this is for me the starting point for a more general question: how does the artist's music acquire meaning for his performers and his listeners? Just for your love of the nature of your homeland?

This article discusses the current relationship between design, local contexts, their communities, popular creation, self-creation, craftsmanship, autochthonous products, and territorial and social valorization and sustainability. At present, factors considered as secondary, such as "esteem value, emotional, aesthetic and psychological factors, perceived quality, «terroir» concept" (as recognition of the community and of the territory where it is produced), as Dijon de Moraes (2009) contained in many of these productions are determining factors and competitive differentials for the development of new typologies of industrial products In this work the importance of design in this process is evidenced by immersing the complexity of the scope of this area at present.

En este trabajo nos proponemos compartir la descripción, comparación y análisis de sucesos, expectativas, concepciones de la danza y lo escénico en dos festivales de danza contemporánea en el espacio urbano de la ciudad de La Plata, provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina: el Festival Danzafuera y el Festival Diagonales. Desde un abordaje etnográfico detectaremos consideraciones de la relación entre este arte y el espacio público, abriendo a una serie de preguntas acerca de las vinculaciones entre arte, política y sociedad.

O presente trabalho aborda uma análise das investigações realizadas e publicadas na área de música por alunos, professores/pesquisadores em Roraima - Brasil. Roraima é um dos Estados mais novos do Brasil e é constituído por imigrantes de todas as regiões brasileiras e comunidades indígenas. Sua miscigenação cultural o torna com características únicas de um povo que fala e faz música europeia, brasileira, que mantêm as tradições indígenas e tem um contato forte com as culturas venezuelana. O objetivo desde ensaio é de apontar quais sãos as áreas dos estudos musicais predominantes nas investigações realizadas no Estado, os principais trabalhos, além das inquietações e espaços para o desenvolvimento de futuras investigações na área de música em Roraima.

Para la puesta en escena de una obra del repertorio romántico-clásico tradicional son muchos los elementos dentro del lenguaje escénico a tener en cuenta. Este tipo de repertorio, en la mayoría de los casos, debe seguir unos cánones que marca el estilo específico de la pieza que se lleva a escena, lo cual determina en su ejecución el respeto por la tradición ya sea bien del romanticismo, el clasicismo, u otras vertientes estilísticas que surgieron después como es el caso de estilo Balanchine, que con algunas variaciones dentro de la técnica misma se desarrolló en los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica en la década de 1940.

Con el propósito de indagar las relaciones entre psicología y estética en la Argentina desde una perspectiva histórico crítica, se analiza el caso de la fotógrafa Grete Stern como personaje clave de una de las vías de recepción de la psicología de la Gestalt en su intersección con los desarrollos de la Bauhaus. Se tiene en cuenta para ello dos tipos de fuentes. En primer lugar, algunos datos biográficos que la ubican como representante de la “experiencia Bauhaus” y la transmisión oral que de ella hizo. En segundo lugar, los testimonios de algunos artistas y el material bibliográfico (en especial, los Bauhausbücher) que les aportó a quienes incursionaban en los años ’40 en el arte no figurativo de tendencia concreta. A partir del análisis de uno de aquellos volúmenes, se reflejan los debates que tomaban saberes psicológicos para fundamentar postulados del arte abstracto y el papel de la ciencia del arte de finales del siglo XIX como antecedente de ambos.

Neste artigo, após uma introdução geral na qual abordamos conceitos básicos sobre a memória e o cérebro, os esforços desenvolvidos no século XX para entender os mecanismos subjacentes ao funcionamento da memória humana, referindo de passagem os progressos alcançados com as pesquisas levadas a cabo pelas neurociências, que têm tornado possível, entre outros aspectos, uma melhor compreensão de quais as áreas do cérebro envolvidas nas etapas de aquisição e consolidação da informação (e sua evocação), analisamos exemplos de obras de arte contemporâneas, de diferentes áreas de expressão, que nos permitem discutir alguns aspectos relativos ao funcionamento da memória, como actividade cerebral. As obras abrangidas assentam em modelos filosóficos ou psicológicos, num estudo pioneiro sobre a relação da memória com as emoções dos cientistas americanos Roger Brown & James Kulik, que introduziram na literatura científica o termo “flashbulb memories”, e nas possibilidades abertas pela utilização de tecnologias de imagiologia científica.

Este artigo tem como propósito relatar propostas e atividades desenvolvidas na disciplina de estágio supervisionado, do curso de Licenciatura em Música da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR), na Creche da Penitenciária Feminina do Paraná, entre os meses de agosto e dezembro de 2013. A proposta de educação musical elaborada durante este período visou contemplar quarenta mães encarceradas e seus filhos, quarenta bebês e crianças com idade entre zero e três anos nascidas em espaço de privação de liberdade. A inserção dos alunos de estágio neste campo específico se deu por meio do Programa Ciência e Transcendência, fruto do acordo firmado em 2012 entre a PUCPR e a Secretaria de Justiça, Cidadania e Direitos Humanos (SEJU). A equipe de estagiários foi formada por quatro alunos, tendo como supervisora de campo uma pedagoga implantada pelo Programa Ciência e Transcendência, que atua de segunda a sexta-feira, dentro da creche da Penitenciária. Dentro da Universidade, juntamente com a professora responsável pela matéria de estágio supervisionado, construímos planos de aulas semanais que foram desenvolvidas nas tardes de quinta-feira. Procuramos através da educação musical, elaborar estratégias que conduzam e propiciem um ambiente de socialização por meio da relação entre mães, filhos e agente mediador (estagiário), onde a condição de isolamento social é permanente. Nesse sentido elaboramos um repertório de músicas e atividades que pretendiam apoiar um aprendizado significativo, que explore o universo afetivo materno e ofereça uma experiência h harmoniosa para bebé e para a criança. Também buscamos estimular as crianças e bebês para o universo dos sons, ampliando os aspectos afetivos, cognitivos e psicomotores baseados principalmente na formação de um cenário que produza afabilidade, tendo em vista a violência do ambiente carcerário. Utilizamos da educação para construir de forma reflexiva a significação e autodisciplina das mulheres encarceradas na sociedade. Descobrimos neste cenário a escassez de pesquisas que permeiam o espaço prisional, entretanto, em contrapartida, as múltiplas possibilidades evidenciadas com a utilização da música no que concerne ao relacionamento entre mães e filhos, gerando por fim, propostas facilitadoras da inserção social.

O estudo é uma análise exploratória dos discursos produzidos por um grupo de jovens que participaram numa fase de uma investigação sobre os sentidos dos espaços escolares. A primeira parte da actividade relaciona-se com a recolha de elementos que revelam o modo como os alunos são sensibilizados pelas características afectivas e sensitivas dos espaços escolares, isto é, a forma como são sensibilizados pelas suas características imateriais. Para tal, o grupo procura, com ajuda de mecanismos de activação apropriados, construir experiências (afectivas e sensitivas) na relação directa com as cores, formas, volumes, texturas e sons desses espaços. Simultaneamente o grupo expõe, num debate conjunto, as ideias, críticas, opiniões, sugestões pessoais que vão surgindo sobre a realidade estudada no sentido de ir construindo e reconstruindo as suas narrativas a partir das experiências vividas. É nossa pretensão explorar o sentido e potencial do que designamos atrás como “imaterialidades dos espaços” ou ainda as “imaterialidades arquitectónicas da escola” a partir da construção e desconstrução desses debates. De seguida o grupo de estudantes reproduz, numa maqueta, a escola como uma nova realidade, uma realidade recriada a partir dos seus estudos e considerações, procurando reproduzir, na arquitectónica dessa maqueta, esta ideia: a Escola tal como nós a desejaríamos (The School I´d Like!).2 Pretende-se assim saber se as experiências vividas pelos estudantes, no seu conjunto, correspondem a um novo posicionamento sobre a arquitectura da escola na sua estrutura física e se a partir desse posicionamento adquirem uma nova perspectiva sobre toda a vida da escola. O trabalho tem pois, como principal objectivo, apresentar uma perspectiva crítica dos alunos sobre o espaço escolar e sobre a participação dos alunos na arquitectura dos ambientes da escola.

Reginaldo Carvalho (Guarabira-PB, 1932 – João Pessoa-PB, 2013) compôs e arranjou centenas de obras para coro. Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as peças As Flô de Puxinanã e A Cacimba, do referido compositor, sob texto de Zé da Luz, numa perspectiva histórica, estrutural e retóricomusical. A análise tomou como base os estudos de Bartel (1997), Brait (2008), Duarte (2006), Fiorin (2006), Preti (2003), Rosa (2008), Salles (2009), Sankovitch (2006), entre outros. Os resultados demonstram que existe uma estreita correlação entre música e texto nas obras estudadas e que o compositor dialoga com os elementos da tradição e da contemporaneidade, explorando aspectos semânticos dos textos de Zé da Luz que potencializam a ironia e a sátira.

O corpo que pretende dar vida a este artigo nasce do projeto de tese “in progress” e é pensado na área da Educação Artística. O projeto situa-se precisamente num panorama híbrido que inicia o seu percurso no clown convocando áreas como: artes circenses, dança, kung fu, e estabelece uma relação de criação com a técnica “Viewpoints” de Anne Bogart. O corpo e o movimento são sem dúvida o ponto de encontro da ação e a “escuta” é o tema principal. A construção da personagem hibrida que parte do clown não terá um fim específico, ou seja, situa-se num constante espaço de modelação e vai ser criada através de processos criativos laboratoriais que se vão desenvolver e que resultarão na elaboração do espetáculo de apresentação da tese que terá de se autoanalisar na passagem à escrita e vice-versa. Aqui, neste artigo tento explanar um conjunto de conceitos que estão diretamente relacionados com este projeto de investigação e se situam num discurso em que as linguagens utilizadas representam parte essencial da formação deste ser metamorfizado, assim como a parte metodológica do trabalho laboratorial que visa mostrar uma futura ação na Educação Artística.
