Dizeres sobre e na sala de aula: aspectos da constituição do professor de LE a partir da relação entre teoria e prática
This thesis aims at analyzing aspects of the foreign language teacher\'s constitution to what concerns the relationship between theory and practice. The main goal of this work is to enlarge the dialogue between theory and practice in the context of the language teaching and learning. The specific goals are: (i) To verify the regularities in teachers\' utterances enunciated in the classroom, identifying marks of interdiscursivity among theories on the teaching and the learning process of foreign languages; (ii) To identify and to analyze the incidence of traits of the teacher\'s theoretical formation, recovered from the analyzed utterances about the foreign language teacher\'s constitution; (iii) To discuss the relation between the formation received by the teacher and the foreign language teachers constitution. The hypothesis that guides this research considers that far away from establishing a simple tension between theory and practice, what is realized in the teachers performance, given the contingency of a classroom, is the traits of the subjectivity that the teachers established during their constitution as teachers with the theoretical knowledge and with the experience with the language learning and teaching. That contingency, in the teaching and learning process, mobilizes, or not, through discursive memory, something of the teachers theoretical-practical formation resulting from their subjective investment on the language teaching and learning. It is certain that such a process affects their constitution as teachers. In order to compose the corpus of the research, classes given by two English teachers from the sixth grade of elementary public schools were recorded. Interviews with these same teachers were also collected. Theoretically, this research is founded on concepts of Discourse Analysis that assumes the subject being constituted by the flaw, for the non possibility to say everything; marked by the contradiction and obstructed by the real of the language. Thus, it was assumed that the teachers constitution, given their relation to the teaching and learning process, can suffer displacements that result from discursive crossings that (re)constitute their relation to the knowledge production in the classroom. Three discursive crossings were noticed constituting the teachers from the subjective processes promoted and suffered by them. The first comes from the academic formation, in the form of traits of theories with which they maintained contact. The second results from their experiences with the language teaching and learning process. Finally, other discursive crossing was an imaginary that seemed to constitute the teachers, under which they showed they did not believe the possibility of teaching and learning a foreign language within public schools. Results have shown that a discursive vision of the teachers and of their relationship to the theory and the practice of foreign language teaching can represent a base for any kind of the (trans)formation wanted in the process of teaching and learning a foreign language at public schools.

Diretrizes curriculares para o ensino de Língua Portuguesa: poder e produção de subjetividade
This thesis discusses the relationship between Portuguese Language teachers from Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Uberlândia and the Curriculum Guidelines for the Portuguese Language Teaching (DCELP). In particular, this relationship was investigated from a review of the document undertaken by a group of teachers designated for such a purpose. Thus, the overall goal of the research is the discussion of these guidelines as a reference tool for Portuguese teachers. The guiding hypothesis of this study assumes that there are relations of power exercised by both DCELP and teachers. This exercising of power produces a resistance that becomes evident through the way teachers silence the DCELP. The hypothesis also takes into account that this resistance is not necessarily reversed in favor of a relationship with the teaching of Portuguese language that would be differentiated and able to promote shifts. Methodologically, the corpus of the research consists of two groups of discursive excerpts. The first is from a search form addressed to the group of teachers who have reviewed the DCELP in 2011. The second comes from the teaching annual plans drawn up by Portuguese teachers. Theoretically, the research sought to support the dialogue between the discursive approach as understood by Foucault and theoretical contributions brought by Discourse Analysis, especially as developed by Michel Pêcheux. Concepts such as power, discursive practices, interdiscourse, intradiscourse and resistance composed the theoretical framework. In general, the results of the analysis confirm the hypothesis. The utterances enunciated by the review team analyzed showed that silencing of DCELP occurs by a theoretical lack of teachers to what concerns the understanding of the methodological and theoretical proposals found in the DCELP. Similarly, the teaching plans analyzed indicated that there is a distance between the propositions of DCELP and the theoretical purposes mobilized for its preparation. In both analyzed discursive excerpts, the effect of silencing the guidelines makes their potential, with respect to their theoretical and methodological proposals for the teaching of Portuguese, reduced. As a result, resistance to DCELP does not produce a different relationship with the teaching of Portuguese.

Singularidade e subjetividade : relações discursivas entre palavra e imagem na obra de Valêncio Xavier Minha mãe morrendo e o menino mentido
This thesis aims at discussing the singularity of the book Minha mãe morrendo e o menino mentidoby Valêncio Xavier, taking into account that the way the relationship between the verbal and the visual happens can offer a singular output for the subject who, in this post-modernity, keeps a deadly enjoyment with the visual. In order to do so, we seek thetheory developed by Jacques Lacan to define singularity, which led us to address concepts such as subject and enjoyment, as well as the notion of sinthome. We have analyzed the author\'s relationship with one of his fundamental artistic strategies, montage, understood as a form of sublimation. The montage would bethe equivalent of a sinthomewhose task would be of linking the three registers (Imaginary-Symbolic and Real). Bearing that in mind, we have shown how the visual and the verbal in the work analyzed is in opposition to a socially widespread enjoyment, which emphasizes the imaginary aspects of the subject\'s relation with the visual. Images and words, far from having a complementary relationship between themselves, indicate a constant point of problematization to what concerns such a relation. In order to reflect on the forms of relationship between the verbal and the visual forms, we have also used Jacques Rancière s ideas whose theoretical assumptions helped us understand the concept of montage and its transformation throughout history. The ideas developed by Vladimir Safatle about the sublimation in Lacan was also of our interest. Thus, the analysis of Minha mãe morrendo e o menino mentidosupports the idea that in the relationship with the visual and the verbal, the montage is the way the subject finds to produce meaning and anenjoyment of his own. Thus, we went over the chapters of the thesis, scanning themes and the structure of the book by using the concepts alluded before: singularity, synthome, sublimation, and enjoyment. We have found that Valêncio met a complex and unique way of using the visual because, there, the subject does not submit himself to an imaginary way of dealing with traumatic or pleasurable visual experiences lived in childhood. By (re)living the impact of images to which he was subjected in childhood, Valêncio transformed the deadly power of images such as the dying mother or the severed heads of Lampeão s gang into a singular work. Therefore, Minha mãe morrendo e o menino mentidosuggests a creative alternative for the plethora of images to which the subject, especially nowadays, is submitted: he can make use of signifiers that come from the Other and find, beyond a meaning, his own way of enjoyment. Even though art is not the only way to subvert the surplus scopic enjoymentpresent in our contemporary world, Valêncio Xavier indicates a possible way: to work with the fragments of verbal and visual discourse that crossed his life in order to produce a meaning and an enjoyment of his own.

A voz do caminhoneiro no rádio amador : prática discursiva e seus possíveis efeitos
In this research, considering the use of the amateur radio by truck drivers who are members of the PX group, we intend to understand and to show how these workers deal with social questions (life conditions and images) in the discourse relations they keep, via amateur radio, among one another and with other members. A way of dealing with these questions is by means of the playfulness, which is, in the discourse practice of the PX group, a social functioning, since it is characterized as discourse regularity. The playfulness, result of plays of language, is our conducting wire, allowing us working with the following research question: what the playfulness of the truck drivers, in the practice of this group, can reveal/veil about them and about their condition in the society? We hypothesize that the playfulness indicates the truck drivers perform a self resistance, so it means the continuity of and in the way of life. We also hypothesize the playfulness, besides being a discourse functioning and discourse effect of the PX group practice, seems to be able to producing effects of symbolic resistance against the mourning in relation to hard aspects of the life conditions. We show, by investigation of the corpus, that the relation made by us between plays of language, playfulness and symbolic resistance seems to be according to a discourse play which makes functioning opposite meanings. We point out how this discourse play happens in the investigated cuttings, what were divided into themed cuttings: linguistic plays, laugh plays and musical voice plays. In this work, we are based on Pêcheux‟s Discourse Analysis, mainly in its third epoch, since this theory deals with the notion of discourse subject, social subject, who is the subject of the recurrence of and in the sayings, functioning according to a discourse practice. The truck driver who is a member of the PX group, by means of the playfulness functioning, is our discourse subject. Considering that the discourse practice of this group seems to provide a subjective way of existence to the truck drivers, we cogitate our work can contribute to the explanation of the importance of this practice to them. Therefore, this contribution, that can give visibility to the PX group, is related to the discussion we make concerning to the playfulness, result of plays of language produced by truck drivers via amateur radio, seeming to produce effects of symbolic resistance.

In-determinação nos comentários às cibernotícias
The indetermination constitutes theme in the approaches of grammars and in the linguistic researches under varying perspectives. These ones, many times, (re)produce, even with a certain difference, the way of traditionally conceiving it, or rather, intrinsic to the use of some linguistic forms and aiming at certain intentionality: the intentionality of hiding, not knowing, can‟t reveal or not wanting to reveal. Noticing, since our first studies about this theme, the possibility of the indetermination happens related to other forms not commonly suggested and the need for, to investigate it, approaching questions about meaning, we start to conceive it as an effect of meaning and that, because of this, must be thought in the relation to other(s) (effect(s) of) meaning(s), what justifies the fact of, since then, saying in terms of in-determination. Therefore, effectively thought under the semantic perspective, the reference, to which we put to the definition of in-determination, comes to us as an important question. In view of the most part of our questionings about the in-determination occurred when observing the functioning of the commentaries to the political cyber news, specially the dissolution between the public-private limits, our aim is to investigate the functioning of the in-determination in these commentaries, to answer the following research question: how does the in-determination work and what does it make work, semantically, in such commentaries? We hypothesize that, in the commentaries to the cyber news, the in-determination is intensified to the level of producing certain functionings and effects proper to this discourse practice. To answer this question and ascertain our hypothesis, we investigate commentaries to political cyber news from the online newspapers Estadão and Folha de S. Paulo , having Michel Pêcheux‟s Discourse Analysis, mainly in its third epoch, and some concepts (reformulated) from the Theory of Language, by Émile Benveniste, as our theoretical basis, since these are semantic theories that allow us promoting a theoretical displacement/detachment to think the in-determination as an effect of meaning that happens, in spite of the interlocutors, as a constitutive functioning of the referential construction.

A vontade de verdade em José Saramago
The general aim of this paper is to problematize the formation of truth in the novels Acaverna (2000), O HomemDuplicado (2008), Memorial Do Convento (2008a) and OEvangelho Segundo Jesus Cristo (1997) for the purpose of understand the truth willingness and truth games functioning in these literary works. From that general objective, we have elected the following specific objectives: to point how history, truth willingness and truth policies , from the foucauldian bias contribute to the comprehension of discourses form; problematize the relationship between Discourse Analysis and the truth concept to show the usefulness of this concept to this subject; and analyze the truth formation in the saramaguiano novels, paying attention to headings which point to religious, historical and common sense themes, that emerge from the literary works selected to this research corpus. To the paper purpose development, based on the assumption that these discourses which permeate these novels production circumscribe itself to historical production conditions, that determinate discursive regularities which allow the truth willingness re-elaboration , and consequently, the truth games present in these mentioned literary works. From that assumption, we defend the thesis of the questioning of crystallized truth realized in the analyzed literary works emerges through an inversion in the narratives, since the certainties of common sense, historical and biblical discourses become fiction and what would be in the margins of these truths emerges aiming to point the fragility, changing and contradiction that last through both the subjects formation and its discourses. Thus, we conclude that the comprehension of the truth discursive functioning is essential to the Discourse Analysis, because it helped to show that when a given discourse is presented as true, we should pay attention to its emergence rules and consider it as relative, since we can question it and identify its formation rules, and consequently, it can lose its truth place. Besides, we have observed that the willingness truth which emerges from the analyzed literary works does not come to show another truth that replaces the first, but to test the constitutive contradiction of characters, and consequently, of discourses. Therefore, the willingness truth which forms part of saramaguiano literary works does not point to a centered truth, but for a future to be built by the characters.

A referenciação em textos verbo-imagéticos
This research has the main object to analyze the referential operation of objects of discourse in verb-imagery texts. Thereto, the theoretical validity is incumbent on the postulates of Textual Linguistics with social cognitive discourse basis, specially the referenciation (MONDADA; DUBOIS, 2003), by the referential approach and non-contextual mention (CAVALCANTE, 2011). The principles and categories of analysis of this approach are correlated to the model theory of context by Van Dijk (2012), for the observation of the operation of objects of discourse in 22 verb-imagery texts present in two different genres: the strip and the advertisement. The study shows that is possible to extend the categories of referential processing used in verbal texts into texts which commune, in its materiality, by word and image in a way that the principles which sustain the referenciation while a negotiated (re)building from objects of discourse keep itself assured. It still evinces that all the analytical categories of referenciation through the non-mention approach are contemplated in all the verb-imagery texts, preferably the referential introduction and direct anaphora, made by objects of discourse in verbal and imaging manner. The recategorization is confirmed as a phenomenon that surpasses all the referential processing, mainly performed by objects of discourse in the imaging manner. Linked by this finding, the preference by the argumentative orientation of referential processing is verified, since the analysis demonstrate that the same object of discourse can be observed in more than one reference category and assuming more than one role, stating the principle that deals with the simultaneous roles of referential processing as well as referential accessibility.

Parrhesía e produção de subjetividade em Arnaldo Antunes : escrita, autoria e poder
Considering that the practice of parrhesia is committed to truth-telling, and in relation to art this concept is reformulated, I analyze productions of Arnaldo Antunes in this thesis, taking into account the written notions of authorship, power, parrhesia, subjectivity, and identity from the perspective of Foucault s discourse. I established names as input for analysis, conceived as that which functions as specifier and differentiator of meanings, always tangent by the system (language), by subject, and by history: the tripod of sustainability of construction of the senses. I observed the recurrence of names in arnaldian works (Che Guevara, Simone de Beauvoir, Pinochet, Lao Tzu, Stalin, Hitler, etc.), which made me inquire about the ability to study these productions from the perspective of Foucault s discourse. To constitute the corpus of this study, I resorted to the works 40 escritos, Como é que chama o nome disso, Outros 40, and the Official site of Arnaldo Antunes (www.arnaldoantunes.com.br). I proposed the hypothesis that there would be arnaldian productions in a veiled way of discourses materialization that would throw-open power relations and would enable the practice of parrhesia and the production of subjectivity. This throwing-open of power relations would take place through the opposition between discourses, which would materialize themselves through the memory, immersed in the names in the tension between the spoken and unspoken via speech, enabling even in certain cases, the construction of subject identities. As theoretical and methodological subsidy, I based the study in Foucault s L archéologie du savoir1, from the notion of speech as the elementary unit of discourse (p.90). Thus, it was possible to collate statements in order to show that parrhesia, in the present day, takes place differently from the Greek era. However, it is still a means of commitment to truth (as a construct), in a comparison of historical, social, and cultural issues from what is permitted by the arts: a privileged place for transgression. In the first chapter, I discussed aspects of the study of arnaldian productions and I justified the choice for analyzing these productions from the power relations postulated in Foucault s texts. In the second chapter, I traced the theoretical and methodological path in order to observe some concepts that were key to the development of this research to be precise: appellative, articulation, statement, speech, historical discontinuity, writing, authorship, relational character of the power and forms of resistance, parrhesia, production of subjectivity, and other discussed concepts that were bound to the former concepts (the being of language, memory, history, subject, identity, difference, etc.), based primarily on Foucault s texts and authors who join the Discourse Analysis from the perspective of that author. In the third chapter, I analyzed arnaldian productions making comparisons with the principally addressed concepts, in order to reach the goal of this thesis and to see if the hypothesis could firmly stand. Finally, I resumed the discussion of arnaldian production and its relation to contemporary literature, as well as the reconfiguration of the notion of parrhesia and its relation to subjectivity, writing, authorship, and the power from the productions of Arnaldo Antunes.

Aspectos discursivos da constituição da autoria em resenhas acadêmicas
This paper has as its main goal to characterize, from a discursive perspective, some aspects of the process of authorship constitution in academic reviews published in scientific publications in the Linguistics field (QUALIS A), specifically the published reviews in the journal DELTA, in its digital version. To accomplish this, we began the analysis work identifying the discursive positions which pointed to different ways of insertion of the subject while authorsubject within the scenic picture academic review. We assumed that the authorship is conditioned, regulated by the enunciation scene, particularly by the discourse scenic picture, as the subject inserts itself in the enclosing academic scene, but it only constitutes itself in the authorfunction within a generic scene. To proceed to the analysis of the 20 reviews that compound the corpus of the research, we took as basis the analyticaltheoretical device of the French line Discourse Analysis, considering as theoretical reference to the authorship matter Foucalt s (1969, 1971) and Possenti s (2001, 2002) reflexions and as central axis of the discussions the scene notion of enunciation formulated by Maingueneau (1987, 2006), particularly what he defines as discourse scenic picture the enclosing scene and the generic scene as reference to the analysis of the class category and its coercions over the authorship constitution processes. The data analyzed indicate that the subject of the discourse inserts itself in different ways in the enclosing academic scene, and these insertions produce different authorship effects, depending on the position that the reviewer assumes towards the Other, such position materializes itself in the texts, among other ways, on the demonstrated marks of heterogeneity.

Autores velados e revelados: uma análise do discurso de alunos de letras
This paper presents the construction of a possible trajectory in the constitution of authorship by three students from the CAJ Modern Language course. To tread along the route of this reconstitution came from the analysis of these students essays, done in their last university year, as an obligatory inquiry in the Portuguese Teaching subject. The Modern Language student, who is about to graduate, seen in this work as a subjectauthor, is a reader who happens to read themselves, assuming texts in order to compose others. We know that writing exists after the subject s reading, who wishes a unique view and, from this point, they (re)construct it from the first reproduction. In this manner, authorship is viewed in this study as a single process, with the presence of the Other that allows the (un)veiling process in a non-organized and unpredictable way inside of the subject-constructor of their own authorship. To analyse students discourses in their essays shows how singularity occurs truly and goes beyond the ready and used concept of students education: after all, they educate themselves based on their own manners and with their Others, and all the time.

Uma análise pragmática/desconstrutora da obra: educação a solução está no afeto-ecos e efeitos desses dizeres no contexto educacional
This piece of work had, as its object of analisys, the formerly published "Educação: a solução está no afeto Chalita (2001), being our corpus consisted of some knowledge, education and identity concept-related discoursive manifestations materialised in the aforementioned work. In order to complement some parts of this analisys, we made use of one teacher's speech, so as to dicuss on which ground the 'chalitian' propousal might produce effect on the classroom practice and happenings as well as in the school context as a whole. The, previously mentioned, work choice was not, at all, made randomly. However, for being, at least in the State oof Minas Gerais, considred as a "miraculous potion", capable of solving a number of Educational issues. Based on a deconstructive reading of the refered piece, we endevour problematising some excerpts, aiming at the dicussion of some conflicts, representations and present weak points, besides the devised teacher and student related identity profiles. We opted for an qualitative, descriptive research on an interpretative basis proving the hipothesis leading our enquiry, which states that the knoledge contruction, major school foundation, is fragilised or, to say the least, relegated to a less-expressive ground because the affectivity-related discoursive manifestations have been legitimated in the educational contexts as illusions able to solve almost all learning prolems. For the development of this research's data analisys, we took, as theoretical grounds, the Pragmatics preconceptions, more specifically, the notion of performativity, as proposed by Austin (1990), associated to the Deconstruction project, proposed by Derrida (1973). We searched for, as well, reference through the French discourse-analisys principles, specially in Pêcheux (1975). The complementing theoretical grounds of this research bases itself on the post-modern cultural studies of Hall (1997) and Silva (2005), who sustain discussions concerning the identity questions. We do consider important to restate that the results presented in this research are a product of the researcher's clivaring and the metadiscoursivity process, therefore, they do not close themselves either within an unique and definite conclusion once that, for an assured deconstructivist, a text will always be a fertile ground to be, once again deconstructed. On this manner, the hermeneutic or the heuristic stages installed in this discoursivity process are unique. In relation to the results, we notice that, in the observed context, the affectivity sayings are taken as performative. This way, The subjects circumscribed to the school understand that the affective manifestations may act on an efficient manner as a solution for the most varied teaching/learningprocess related problems. We did evidence, however, the fact that the aforementioned analised work readers, in the investigated context, do not perceive that Chalita enunciates, from a subject position in which he abides political religious and ethic issues. We do judge pertinent clarify that we consider affectivity may potentialise the teaching/learning processes. Nevertheless, we cannot, in a naive manner, think that there is only one remedy for all educational illnesses and that this remedy should, at all costs, be affection.

Um estudo da arquitetura textual do gênero entrevista
It was investigated, in this study, the textual architecture of the genre journalistic interview in two magazines of national circulation: Veja magazine - section Yellow - and Superinteressante magazine section Superpapo/Papo. The main hypothesis of study was that, although the interview genre is an activity of highly standardized language, that implies specific normative expectations of the part of the text producers, it makes possible, in its architecture, bigger heterogeneity of the textual sequences. In this direction, the characteristic of stability of the interview genre is determined from the regularities presented in the thematic content, the composition construction and in the style; and the dimension thematic content can be investigated when it begins from the studies of the text sequential organization. That is why, three genre constituent dimensions according to Bakhtin s conceptions were identified thematic content, composition construction and style. After that, it was carried out the study of the composition structure of the interview genre based on Adam s sequences theory (1997) and on the Bronchart s dialogue statute of the sequences (2003). For the development of the research, two corpora were studied: a corpus of analysis of the interviewees profile, corresponding to all interviews published in the years of 2004, 2005 and 2006; a corpus of analysis, that is constituted of twenty interviews, being ten interviews of each magazine, in these same years. In this corpus, the analyses were carried out through the successive phases of the interview internal construction: opening; presentation of the interviewee and subject; development; and closing. From these studies, it was concluded that, in the language action plan, the interview genre cannot be understood, produced without reference to the elements of its production situation, so, the aspects of the interaction and the social-historical conditions of production must be considered. In the style plan, the investigation showed that when interviewer and interviewee pronounce the sayings, they incorpore social roles linked to the exercise of the journalistic press rituals and, thus, they reveal the discourse midiatized character. The style also reveals the dialogic and poliphonic character of the saying, the inseparable characteristic between the genre analysis of their ways and nets of transmission and of the social picture of its production and publication. In the composition construction plan, although the interview constitutes itself of dialogue sequences and presents an explanatory sequences domain - that justifies the genre stable character - in both the magazines, it was significant the variety of sequences occurrense - argumentative, narrative, descriptive - that intercross and constitute this genre. In relation to the identification of the dominant sequence by interview phases, the results were still more differentiated, proving thus, the nature composition heterogeneous of the language. The analyses evidenced the direct relation between the thematic content and the way of genre planning, because the sequences adapt themselves to the content that can be said in order to deal with the text producers intentions. Although the characteristics described of the genre investigated are determined from regularities presented in the thematic content, composition construction and style, the genres changeable character allows that the interview genre presents its singularities in the organization way of the said and in the linguistic means that operate to say it.

A descaracterização da gíria nos blogs
This dissertation has the main objective to analyze the distinction of the use of the slang in blogs when divulged by the means of communication, especially in the Internet. It is undisputed the influence of the Internet in the diverse human activities of the contemporary world, therefore practically all the aspects of our lives are influenced by the technological development. Thus, the internet take on a primordial role in the spreading of the slang providing a bigger acceptability in some sectors of the society. This way, the presence of the slang in the blogs has contributed for an increasing acceptance and use on the part of the society and its consequent distinction. In this direction, this work intends to show how the slang is treated in the electronic dictionaries of language Aurélio XXI (1999) and Houaiss (2001). The use marks that are used to treat the present linguistic variation in the dictionaries constitute a considerable and serious problem. The divergences in the use of the marks slang in the dictionaries are clear mainly due to incorporation of these vocables to the daily language of speakers. Thus, the spreading of the slang by means of the internet contributes for an increase of acceptability and use for all and any speaker in the most diversified situations. Of this form, the slang vocables lose their characterization of slang becoming common vocables.

Era uma vez - coesão e legibilidade em histórias infantis para leitores iniciantes
This present work studies how the modern children s stories are organized in texts, analyzing its textual functioning, and based on its referential cohesion, thematic progression and referenciation. Aside from that, we will verify the relation of those elements as facilitators of the textual comprehension (that produces the cohesion), considering the young readers, the potential readers of this texts. Modern children stories use referential cohesion and thematic progression, as well as more simple types of referenciation, as resources to simplify the comprehension (the prodution of meaning) of the young readers. Those resources are believed to cause consequences in the development of this readers and producers of future texts. The corpus of this research is formed by 50 (fifty) modern brazilian children stories, that are analised both in terms of quality and quantity. In a certain moment, after the organization of the theoretical referential about the matters of cohesion (referential cohesion, thematic progression, referenciation), those children stories are analised observing the number of ocurrences and the frequency of the referential cohesion, as defined by Koch (1988, 1989). In case of referential cohesion by means of substitution, they are made with the use of ellipsis and the pre-forms (pronominal, verbal, adverb and quantitative substitutes). In case of referential cohesion by reiteration, are observed the defined nominal term, nominalization, the synonymous or almost synonymous expression, the generical name, hyperonimous or class indicator, repetetion of lexical item and the referential form that classifies it. On the same perspective, are peformed the quantity analysis of the types of thematic progression, as were defined by Danes (1974): linear thematic progression, thematic progression with a constant theme, progression with a derived theme, progression by development of a subdivided theme, and progression by thematic leap. After this quantitative analysis of the referential cohesion, we proceed to analise what are the implications of those as assistant elements in the production of the text meanings. Following, we use the theoretical referential to make such analysis. Therefore, at the same time, we intend to trace the possible relations between the recurring types of cohesion resources, to verify their occurrence in the chosen texts (modern children stories), how this relation influences their own constitution, as well as what are the implications of the recurrent use of certain types of cohesion referentials and thematic progression, as text elements that assist in the textual comprehension. In fact, we verified that the more simple cohesion elements are the more recurrent in the chosen stories, and that helps the interpreting process of the beginner reader.

Processo de inclusão de alunos com necessidades educacionais especiais: um olhar pragmático
This study, which focused on the process of inclusion of students with special educational needs in the context of regular schools in Uberlândia, MG, aimed at investigating how this process is being perceived and handled by teachers who work in both state and private schools. The main objectives of the research were: 1) to analyze the politics of naming and predicating adopted by those teachers, in order to refer (and designate) to the students (with special educational needs), as well as to the teachers attitudes and practices during the referred process. Our analysis was developed based on the theoretical background of Pragmatics and the so called Critical Linguistics. The hypothesis underlying our study was that the process of inclusion of students with special educational needs in the context of regular schools is characterized by contradictions. In a general sense, results show that when schools (represented here by the teachers) try to implement the process of inclusion, they, in fact, seek to form homogeneous classes, and, in an attempt to handle the differences, they end up by adopting stances and attitudes of complacency, almost compassion. As a consequence, schools reinforce the essencialization of what they consider to be the norm(al) , the natural , thus, excluding, in a veiled form, those who do not fit their parameters. It is our belief, thus, that the process of inclusion of students with special educational needs in the context of regular schools is not yet being accomplished because the way schools are dealing with the different result in a veiled form of exclusion.

Práticas de subjetivação e construções identitárias em Cora Coralina
Theoretically based on the principles of French Discourse Analysis formulated by Michel Pêcheux , our study presents some reflections about the subjectivity practices and the identity constructions in Cora Coralina s work. For that purpose, we chose a literary corpus which is composed by poems from three of Coralina s books: Meu livro de cordel, Poemas dos becos de Goiás e estórias mais and Vintém de cobre meias confissões de Aninha. Assuming the principle that the subject (or subjects?) in the mentioned literary corpus is built by historical, ideological and social elements, our study in a discoursive orientation intends to explicit the constitution of the subject by analyzing the elements of the sociohistorical reality. Therefore, our focus is the discoursive subject that is manifested in the discourse, considering that, in the Discourse Analysis domain, the empirical author category is erased: the author disappears and the discoursive subject emerges, built as an enunciator of different subject-positions, of other discoursive subjects. The notion of subject becomes then the guiding concept for this research, which is based both on Michel Pêcheux s subject-form concept and on Michel Foucault s subject-position theory. We intend to present some reflections about subjectivity, singularity and identity in order to better understand the discoursive subject, which nature refers to its own constitutive exteriority. We also intend to underline the pertinence of the articulation of these concepts to the identity practices, which are built by the discourses themselves. For that, we used both the notion of subjectivity, according to Michel Foucault s theoretical postulates, and the notion of identity by scholars such as Tomaz Tadeu Silva, Kathryn Woodward and Stuart Hall. By considering that the conditions of production of the discourses are historical, political and mainly contradictory, we mean to analyze how social relations permit the configuration of the discoursive identity characterized by plurality. We also present the enunciative heterogeneities as a theoretical fundament according to what is postulated by Jacqueline Authier-Revuz , which are explored in order to show the dispersion of the discoursive subjects and the notion of discoursive formation in the perspective of two theorists: Michel Pêcheux and Michel Foucault. Finally, considering the decentralization of the subject, we intend to analyze the subjectivity movement and also to identify the assumed subject-positions, according to the discoursive and ideological formations in the sociohistorical imaginary of the discoursive sequences. It is our purpose, as well, to show the subjectivity processes and the identity constructions of the discoursive subjects in Cora Coralina s work.
