Antidumping measures are an important tool of the state in the strategy of domestic industry protection, aimed at developing the country. Currently, it s the main mechanism used by the Member States of the WTO to curb the entry of foreign products in the domestic market. Brazil has been one of the biggest users. Looking at the history and at the development strategy of the currently developed countries, it becomes clear certain pattern, consisting of activists industrial, commercial and technological policies, such as infant industry protection, tariff protection, and a host direct and indirect intervention in the economy. Moreover, these countries achieved development, adopted in his period of catching-up, protectionist policies, in order to benefit its domestic industry by mainly tariff protection, from advocating trade liberalization only after reaching the technological frontier and have industries reached their international competitiveness. These strategies must be observed by countries that today seek to achieve development, such as Brazil. Economic liberalism eventually leading Latin American economies to specialization. That countries producing and exporting primary products and importing manufactured goods from abroad. The consequences of adopting such a policy are reflected even today, even after industrialization through import substitution occurred during the last century, the development has not been achieved. The movement of international trade liberalization and development of the multilateral system of international trade meant that tariff barriers fall gradually in trade relations among the countries participating in the GATT and especially after the agreement that gave rise to the WTO. Brazil, on account of these trade agreements, was forced to lay aside the use of tariff protection, passing in the last decade, the use of trade defense mechanisms, especially the anti-dumping measures, the greater ease in application, and little international effect, disputes and retaliation. The entry into force of the a new Decree Antidumping modernized Brazilian antidumping proceeding, leaving him, in theory, more quickly in the investigation of dumping, and more effective in the application or otherwise of measures; and as more inclusive and detailed has given greater legal predictability for the private sector.

This paper discusses the recent Urban Projects in the metropolis by analyzing the Contemporary City in order to understand how interventions are made in a Brazilian metropolitan area, in this case Grande ABC Paulista. Since the late 1990s, the region has shown significant changes, especially with regard to the occupation of available and obsolete land, inherited in the restructuring process that municipalities in ABC have suffered. The alternatives that have emerged in response to this process attracted investor interest, particularly in the real estate market. Large areas available to meet an important requirement for the type of product sold by those investors: closed condominiums, horizontal or vertical, residential or varied uses of trade and services, such as hotels and office condominiums. The case studied in greater depth is Projeto Cidade Pirelli , which began its process with a great and innovative urban design , has enacted a specific law to allow its Urban Operation . After fifteen years, the project has undergone several changes. Part of the area allotted to it was sold and is under construction a new real estate development. The work seeks to associate the concepts advocated by leading experts and scholars of the reconstruction of cities around the world with the reality of Região do Grande ABC. The goal is to understand how our interventions are performed and reflect on a possible contribution to our processes.

The purpose of the present research was to understand the perspective of the administration of a small and medium-sized company on the usefulness of one of the products of an audit work: The auditor's letter of recommendation submitted to the administration. Through a descriptive and exploratory quantitative and qualitative research, an analysis of 108 letters of recommendations from 54 different companies in the state of São Paulo was carried out, companies in which had consecutive years of audit. As well as interviews with professionals in the field and administrators of small and medium-sized companies that received the letter of recommendation. For the analysis of the data collected, the Microsoft Excel tool was used. In general, it was noted that all 54 companies used some of the recommendations made by the auditors, thus regularizing many of the identified inconsistencies. In addition, it was noted that the audit of the financial statements and recommendations can be used as a management tool, through the control of activities, review of procedures, to prevent frauds, failure and inconsistencies and to help the company to get updated on changes in accounting, tax and labor regulations. Regarding compliance with the recommendations, it was observed that small and medium size companies, despite having the desire to adopt most of the recommendations and become an organized corporation, have certain limitations related to their structure and lack of resources. Finally, it was noted that small and medium size companies operate within the limits of the market in terms of resources and also that during the audit, strategy and management recommendations that may improve the processes and speed procedures of these companies are well received by the administration. Given this context, it was concluded that small and medium-sized companies generally observe the recommendations in a positive way, using good part of the recommendations for the management of their company and "filtering" recommendations that somehow do not fit the structural reality and resources of small and medium-sized enterprises.

It dissertation sought to investigate the reasoning used by the Supreme Court in decisions involving the fundamental principle of freedom of expression and to compare it with the theoretical model proposed by Marcelo Neves. We conclude that the Supreme Court takes the position of the judge Hydra with strong appeal to principles arguments without compromising methodological consistency and soundness of decisions. The research followed the quantitative and qualitative forms and timeframe set as the trial date "Ellwanger case", in September 2003, up to the limit of December 31, 2013. Starting point was the hypothesis that the constitutional court has a vacillating jurisprudence on the subject, not using insurance technical arguments to provide the necessary predictability to pronouncements. To achieve the proposed objective analysis of the characteristics of State Legislative and Constitutional, successful presentation of the characteristics of judges Hydra, Hercules and Iolau was performed. Then were enrolled why freedom of expression is understood as a fundamental right, as well as theories in vogue on the restriction of the right in question. The finding that the Supreme Court judge resembles the Hydra was made by analysis of three factors: the prevailing theory of restriction on a fundamental right, the constitutionality of the restriction of message content and dynamics of limiting the disclosure of matters of collective interest.

This study seeks to understand the merger and acquisition strategy as a source of competitive advantage for small and medium-sized companies in supermarkets located in interior regions of the State of São Paulo. In order to better understand the phenomena to be studied, two companies in the supermarket segment operating in the western region of the State of São Paulo were researched and using or already used such a strategy. Therefore, we sought to know through a qualitative exploratory research carried out with the six executives responsible for the management of the companies. This study aims to analyze if the merger and acquisition process generates Competitive Advantage for the company and if it is Sustainable. Data collection was performed and treated through content analysis. The referred study resulted in the identification of strategic actions carried out by companies in search of a strategic positioning differentiated in the market in which they are inserted. The present study presents in its final considerations the use of the Fusion and Acquisition Strategy by the companies focus as a factor of important development of a Sustainable Competitive Advantage.

This master consists in identifying which the dogmatic religious contents would work as good as a factor of psychological incentive to the moral, economic and political activism, in order to understand the possible influences of those contemporary reformed protestant ethos in relation to the work. Leaving from the analysis by Max Weber in the work "The Protestant Ethics and the Spirit of the Capitalism" that identified that psychological incentive factor to the doctrine of the predestination, the author tries to presents what the Protestant reforming understands about that doctrine. Try to establish a new relationship [doctrine versus work] through the theory of social representations application, according to the model developed by Serge Moscovici, treading opposite road to Weber, in order words, the expression of learned principles to connect them to the dogmatic content. To know the way contemporary reformed protestant express his inner principles a research have been taken in one of the Brazil’s Presbyterian church communities, located at the east of the city of Sao Paulo. Leaving of the research, it is showed: a) importance of the religious content amid the modern society. b) Which are the possible influences that it exercises on the Protestant ethos. c) Recognize that influence in creating work concepts and the individual s relationship with himself. d) If there is some contribution that interests to modern private organizations positively.

This research evaluates the work of the Hospital Chaplaincy Illness Therapy. And the main focus is to analyze the influence and validity of the work of a chaplain in a hospital. In this research we make checks historical, theological, and pragmatic, and work development is sought to prove the hypothesis that the chaplaincy has always been, always will be relevant today in the context Hospital. The Chaplaincy service in scope, validity and importance is for a hospital as well as spirituality and religion is for humans. The path crosses the findings essentially a historical road from its genesis to its rules and extensive practice today. Does the person of God and the human person and in this regard God and Man, one sees that this needs to encounter with the sacred, and this need is analyzed within the hospital environment and this we find the Chaplaincy, which is called: Hospital Chaplaincy, from being considered a legal institution. The chaplaincy in a hospital is largely a social tool, as had reached the sick, their families and staff throughout the hospital. Finally, the path taken by this researcher is part of their professional practice as pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil.

A possibilidade de ocorrência da perempção no âmbito do processo administrativo tributário se revela à luz dos princípios constitucionais e da necessidade de estipular um mecanismo de sanção que garanta a aplicação do art. 24 da Lei nº 11.457/07 e do prazo peremptório. A problemática envolvida na positivação da perempção no âmbito administrativo permeia o cotrassenso doutrinário e jurisprudencial, cujo argumento desfavorável versa sobre a impossibilidade do curso de prazos decadenciais, prescricionais e peremptórios, no âmbito do processo administrativo fiscal; já o argumento favorável expõe a irregularidade da posição inerte da administração pública, lesando o contribuiente e ferindo os princípios constitucionais; é nesse viés que a perempção se revela como mecanismo viável para que a Administração Pública realize os atos necessários à conclusão do processo respeitando o prazo de cinco anos sob pena de extinção do crédito tributário.

O tema dessa pesquisa partiu de um processo extremamente pessoal e introspectivo. Quando tive a oportunidade de fazer intercâmbio para a Bélgica no início de 2018, tive que enfrentar meus medos, minhas inseguranças, mas que ao mesmo tempo trouxe novos aprendizados e me deu a chance de construir minha independência.O trabalho serve como um processo de reflexão que acredito que precisa ser feito, porque é impossível pensar arquitetura hoje em dia sem levar em conta a questão da identidade e o rumo que nossa sociedade está levando. Da mesma forma que eu só terei respostas vivendo, as questões levantadas só serão respondidas ao longo dos anos.
