Orientação individual para exploração (exploration) e explotação (exploitation) e prontidão para tecnologia

This dissertation involved four constructs in organizational strategy area: exploration, exploitation, ambidexterity and technology readiness. The main objective was to evaluate the degree of association between exploration, exploitation, ambidexterity and technology readiness. To achieve this main objective it was developed a quantitative research study with students as unity of analysis. The research was conducted in Business Administration and International Business courses in a private university located in São Paulo city. The questionnaire was developed using two scales. The first one was adapted for the measurement of the guidelines for exploration and exploitation developed by Popadiuk (2012) and the other scale was developed by Parasuraman (2000) to measure technology readiness index. To describe results, it was used descriptive statistics. The research hypothesis was related to the comparison between means of the technology readiness index according to individual orientation to exploration, exploitation or ambidexterity. Structural equation modeling method and ANOVA analysis was used and applied by the PLS PM technique for checking and comparing the relationship between the constructs. The results showed that is possible to develop a scale for measurement exploration, exploitation or ambidexterity individual orientation based on model developed by Popadiuk (2012) and using a competency model proposed by Cheetam e Chivers (2005) as base of desired transposition. The statistical analysis results, based on 392 answered questionnaires, confirmed that some dimensions of technology readiness construct can vary by individual orientation to explorer, exploiter or ambidexterity.

Uma análise lingüística de algumas peças publicitárias: os efeitos de ambigüidade e de humor

The studies about humor are uncountable and so are that about what make people laugh. Although, most of them presents general questions and few presents the linguistic aspects that humor evolves. The best way to establish the difference between the linguistic treatment of humor and other any approach of the same texts may be the use of terms in wich linguistic explains the way , not the reason of humor. In here there is no intention of explaining what humor texts mean, specially the ambiguous ones, but how they can work. It is intended so, to describe the linguistic keys wich are the way to unleash people s laugh. The Textual Linguistic , by Ducrot, woks with a particular object of investigation, not the word or the sentence any more, but the text itself. It can be used to analyze the different types of language manifestation, yet, eventually, some areas of this science can supply instruments to clear certain aspects of humor language, so, this labor has as objective to analyze specifically the ambiguity on the humor production in advertising texts once it is crucial information. Also it has some advantages: it can be found in large amount and probably, in all cultures; they are pieces of information permanently enunciated by (the) speakers; it is not necessary to create ad hoc to limit-experiments; in addition most of them can be funny. Then, Abaurre, Bakhtin, Bateson, Becker, Bergson, Bigal, Brait, Carvalho, Carrascoza, Chiaro, Chomsky, Dascal, Dias da Silva, Fernandes, Freud, Huizinga, Jameson, Mennucci, Perelman, Piatelli-Palmarini, Raskin, Salmon, Sant Ana and Ullmann will be the theoreticals bases.

Violência doméstica: análise jurídica do estupro marital

Using contributions from feminist theory, such as the concepts of gender, patriarchy, sexual division of labor, division between public and private spheres and false neutrality of law and institutions, the aspects and consequences of social, civil and family subordination of the women are analyzed. Domestic violence is shown as a cause and effect of gender inequality, a tool used by men to punish women for behaviors seen as contrary to their dominance within the family, establishing authority over them, with serious consequences for their physical and psychological integrity. The legislation protecting women's rights is then analyzed according to its evolution in the country, in chronological order. First, it analyzes the colonial period, in which women were only property, whether white or slaves. Then the imperial period, when the influence of liberalism allowed women to claim the right to education. In the period of the first Republic, there is talk about the struggle for the vote, as well as about the first organizations of women's movements. In the Vargas era, there is talk about women workers and the achievement of political and labor rights. As for the dictatorship, the role that the women's movement played in the struggle for the recognition and guarantee of social rights and for democracy is mentioned. The rights they fought for are finally recognized with the enactment of the 1988 Constitution, which recognizes full equality between the sexes and positively influences the legislation that comes in its wake, such as the 2002 Civil Code, which enshrines equality in the family, the Maria da Penha Law, which criminalizes domestic violence, and the Feminicide Law, which makes homicide committed based on gender against women a qualified crime. Next, the criminal type of rape is analyzed in order to demonstrate that it has only recently become a crime against a human rights subject, and not against the man who owned his property. It analyzes the concept of rape, the consequences for the victim, the rapist's psychology, the cultural concept of the crime and its main causes. It is estimated that the second highest rate of rapes is within love relationships, so that their specific aspects and their relationship with domestic and family violence against women are analyzed. Finally, judicial decisions from all States of the Federative Republic of Brazil are analyzed in order to establish the permeability of the Judiciary to rape crimes occurring in the domestic and romantic sphere.

Modelo de sistema de custeio gerencial aplicado à indústria de bens de capital sob encomenda

Capital goods industry by order is peculiar because it manufactures products in small quantities – often unique pieces - that they possibly never made and that they will never make again because they are designed based on customer specifications. Therefore, they deal with a wide variety of products and calculate their costs for each business proposal. The design, procurement and production only start when the customer’s order is formalized and, generally, delivery times are long. These companies take big risks and during the execution of the contract they must take difficult decisions at all times. A big dilemma is how to deal with fixed costs, especially when there is not enough production volume. The Cost Accounting literature has long advocated methods for costing this type of production, however many companies limit themselves to applying financial accounting procedures and the absorption costing method, often wrongly, solely to obtain the Financial Statements for external disclosure and compliance with tax issues and shareholders, which, most of the time, is insufficient and inadequate for an efficient financial management and may induce managers to take wrong decisions. This work proposes a management model that segregates costs and allocates them based on the use or consumption of resources, to determine the effective contribution of each sector in the company’s overall result and provides objective information for daily decisions. At its core, it suggests the calculation and inclusion of financial costs on assets (CAPEX) and working capital (OPEX) in internal transfer prices and decentralized cash control with financial rewards and punishments based on the balance, giving market reality to transactions. In this sense, company’s functional areas, operational or support / services, gain business characteristics that drive their managers to act as “owners”, encourage them to continually pursue improvements, induces the correct use of resources and promotes cost reduction. This study was developed based on the needs of a Brazilian midsize company that manufactures capital goods by order and was built in a didactic way. It is a technological contribution to the practice of management accounting and can be very useful to other organizations, similar or not.

Besides, the observed nowadays phenomena of abusive use of psychoactive substances originates from the emptying of existential meaning in human society, what affects both its interpersonal relationships and also its cultural elements, here included the psychoactive substances. Based on the bibliographic investigative method, this work has realized a theoretical construction that points to a possible attempt to set out this mental health issue by reestablishing the meaning of both the relationships and the cultural elements, and also showing that religion, even when pathologically manifested, may be a factor of prevention to the abusive use of such substances as it expresses a deep and religious experience. The social and symbolic condition found by the individual in the religious deal will make possible a more suitable environment to the human being, who is a symbolic being and needs signification to provide a healthy development of all its aspects.

This project discusses the possible continuity of the Paulista school of architecture as a line of direction within the contemporary architectural production of the city of São Paulo. There is a resumption of concepts of this language, mainly of the work and ideas of João Batista Vilanova Artigas, showing his most outstanding characteristics, based on texts of his own authorship and projects. There is also an analysis of contemporary architecture based on theoretical references from some critics such as Edson Mahfuz, Hugo Segawa, Ruth Verde Zein, Carlos Eduardo Dias Comas, Roberto Segre and Maria Alice Junqueira Bastos, Yves Bruand. Within this contemporary production, pieces of work were selected from different professionals. These professionals are known due to publications and awards received, in which it is possible to note the roots of the paulista school.

Estudo da relação entre a sociolinguística e a sala de aula: um embate no ensino da língua materna

The present study has the objective of developing a critical view that allows the recognition of the real Portuguese language teaching condition with impartiality and lucidity inside state public school system. This research has tried to reflect minuciously the relation of the sociolinguistic with the pedagogic practice and trying to recognize inside the documents that establish and parametrize the primary education second cycle, what is the curricular direction, the didact resources, the application and evaluation of the teaching-learning process of the mother language, valuing the different situations of use and reflections about the language this way, arguing how it works (or not) the language learning inside schools; not only related to its expression in the cultured language, but also to the possible intentionalities, variations and identities that the language can furnish while it is an comunication instrument and social recognition. For these reasons it became necessary to explore the sociolinguistic space and contribution in classes which base is the conception of language as interaction between man in society (sociointeractionist) in which it implies the capacity of the social subjects to take part in or also construct renewed grammatical knowledge, resulting in actions that refute the discrimination and the linguistic prejudice. Therefore it is necessary to the mother language teacher to have a great linguistic formation. As it is common to see many teachers misconceptions that deals with college teaching, descontextualized or that think about the Portuguese discipline as something apart and normative, without mentioning those who does not fully comprehend certain perspectives, ignore your important role in developing habilities and skills turned to the language analysis, as well as its intervention at correction and the reflections about writing and speaking.
