The Paranapiacaba's Railway Village is a living example of an urban agglomeration, scenario of socio-cultural events built by man in a memorable season, paced by technological advance, marked by antagonism of territorial and cultural occupations that consolidated its identity. With more than a century, the Paranapiacaba's village, built by the british company Sao Paulo Railway - SPR, became an important historical and cultural heritage, due to technological innovations introduced by the british in the nineteenth century, which enabled the construction of the railway, the use of modern rail equipments and the introduction of an urbanization model far beyond from the known in Brazil. In the period between 1999 to 2014, were developed and partially implemented a sustainable development plan of Paranapiacaba's village, called Heritage Plan, which aims to promote the social, economic and environmental development of the village, from tourism and preservation of some tumbled buildings in order to promote areas for visits and culture. This work aims to critical analysis of the so called Heritage Plan, as its design and implementation process, whose results depend on a set of forces and actors, as well as a non neutral system of decisions, fruit of technical-political postures and actions, in addition to tensions that engenders. Currently it is observed that despite this plan, residents do not seem to benefit from consistent results with regard to the development of the region. We look into what are the causes of this apparent stagnation and results below expectations, and this questioning is that led to the motivation of this work and the definition of its temporal and spatial boundaries.

This work intends to analyze design as the object that generates answers to the user's (gamer's) expectations based on the collective imaginarium. In turn, this imaginarium originates in a specific social-cultural context. Considering men as symbolic beings, they look for the reason of their existence by attribuing meaning to objects. Those meanings are interpreted by society, creating values, behaviors and cultural references. This work presents fundamental concepts about design and its presence in the social-cultural context, being design the language that interprets and re-signify the electronic game based on the collective imaginarium.

Em que pese o fato de o feminicídio carregar o fardo de ser uma das mais novas figuras penais no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, tem-se que sua edição buscou satisfazer aos anseios mais pretéritos de uma sociedade que convive com a violência contra a mulher como algo corriqueiro desde os primórdios dos tempos, com a urgente necessidade de combatê-la. Neste estudo, abordaremos com ênfase o contexto histórico, pois não há como se olhar para o contexto atual, ou eventuais reflexos futuros, sem antes nos direcionarmos ao passado para descobrir suas raízes, de onde se originou a cobiça humana pelo corpo da mulher e a inexplicável banalidade de matá-las, pelo simples fato de as serem. Abordaremos ainda, os pormenores legais da inserção deste instituto no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, destacando suas particularidades, e a análise técnica da natureza jurídica e de como o feminicídio, enquanto qualificadora do crime de homicídio, vem sendo interpretado pelos tribunais e pela doutrina, principalmente no que tange aos reflexos que causam no Tribunal do Júri

The objective of the research is to implement an interventionist process for the professional training of managers of health care plan cooperatives (Operators), according to the dictates of Normative Resolution No. 443/19 of the ANS. As for the approach to the problem, the research is classified as qualitative because it seeks to measure the added value of knowledge of the participants in professional training applied in their organizations. The methodology applied is action research, one in which the researcher interferes in the phenomenon, with a follow-up procedure for on-the-job training (work in progress), the implementation process, seeking to understand the perception of these managers regarding their technical qualification to apply to RN 443/19 according to the specific needs of each Operator. The expected result is the improvement – in light of RN 443/19 – of corporate governance practices, including internal controls, risk management and compliance at the Operators, through trained leaders. The expected practical implication is the implementation of a structure of good corporate governance practices, with self-management, a sense of justice, transparency, education, internal controls and risk management, in addition to representing a relevant step towards improving the management of Operators, as well it can contribute to the development of a culture of continuous training that meets current regulations. Managers feeling able to apply the dictates of RN 443/19 is the big question and the research result points to an evolution in knowledge and training of leaders. The Operator Size and the Participant's Education Level were the most significant results, while the others, of the 7 variables of the inquiry process, Hierarchical Position, Length of Service and Function, Level of Education and Location of the Operator, showed an evolution, but not significant at 0.10. The hierarchical position in the Operator showed smaller deviations between the initial and the final perception, after the intervention process, but not significant at 0.10. After the interventionist process, in general, the Participants feel more capable of implementing Corporate Governance and the Integrity Program, which includes Money Laundering and Anti-Corruption, and Risk Management, Internal Controls and Internal Audit did not return significant to 0, 10. The Operator's perception was signifcant at 0.10, only in Risk Management and Internal Audit. The result of the survey points to an evolution in knowledge and training of leaders, however, the effective progress of implementations was not expressive, due to the short period of time elapsed.

The research aimed to develop and validate an instrument of evaluation of assessing the accessibility for people with physical disabilities in places of recreation. The instrument was developed and proposed based on two documents: The standard 9050/2004 of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) and International Classification of Functioning Disability and Health (ICF). The theoretical research included the concept of accessibility, accessibility and social inclusion, accessibility and recreation for people with physical disabilities, and the International Classification of Functioning Disability and Health. The field research was conducted by two groups of evaluators who made the evaluation and implementation of the proposed instrument in five places of leisure in Salvador-BA city. The group I of expert judges was composed by experts physiotherapists, and group II was composed of people from wheelchair users and with limited mobility. These groups participated in meetings of training for the instrument and received a manual of guidance for completion of the same. After the instrument the data collected were analyzed as the observations on the use of the instrument and the handbook for guidance. Following this analysis, the observations made by judges were considered by researchers and was held to adapt the manual for guidance. We also observed a high degree of agreement on the final score from the judges. This made it possible to conclude that the proposed and produced instrument can be used to evaluate accessibility for people with physical disabilities in places of recreation. Besides showing up simple and effective to be also used by evaluators with diverse skills, which as long as preliminary contact with the manual for guidance is provided.

This paper aims to analyze the effects of the social value orientation and the social interdependence on the Budgetary slack. Budgetary slack is a subject very studied by international researchers as a dysfunctional budget problem, however until now, with no clear conclusion about your causes. Assuming that this subject impacts organization process of planning, results and competitiveness, this paper intend to contribute to budgetary slack knowledge based on social theories of social value and interdependence and slack theory, originated in the economics, most specifically, in the agency theory. It was applied a questionnaire, a budget experiment and an instrument to measure social value orientation among 41 leaders oh Tower International Company. According to statistic analysis, it was not possible to validate the hypothesis of this research, but considering the theories used on that, It is clear that there is a vast potential on the search of best practices in the management accounting area.

A proposta desta monografia é analisar como a comunicação organizacional integrada é aplicada no trabalho de assessoria de comunicação em órgãos públicos. Partindo dos estudos teóricos que compõem a definição dos conceitos da comunicação organizacional integrada e da comunicação pública, a pesquisa estabelece parâmetros entre a teoria e a prática, apontando tendências de atuação entre os profissionais de jornalismo, a crescente utilização de ferramentas digitais para a transmissão de conteúdo e a aplicação do princípio do interesse público como fato norteador da divulgação de informações. Para ilustrar o referencial teórico trabalhado nas obras de Margarida Kunsch, Jorge Duarte, Elizabeth Brandão, entre outros autores, realizou-se um estudo de caso da assessoria de comunicação de uma secretaria da Prefeitura de São Paulo. A análise reúne publicações de materiais feitos pela equipe de comunicação durante as primeiras semanas após o decreto de estado de emergência na cidade devido à pandemia de Covid-19, além de pesquisa feita com os assessores para elucidar como o trabalho de divulgação para a sociedade é planejado.

This study contributes to confirmatory evidence of asymmetric information to explain the equity issuesdecisionsat hot periods, as predict a time-varying adverse selection version ofthe equity market timing theory. Through testing with data from US companies for the period 1988-2012, it was found that the companies held their IPOs in hotperiods (hot market) showed a higher degree of information asymmetry compared to companies that issues in hot periods (cold market). For companies that have made seasoned primary issues in hot periods, the information asymmetry was lower compared to those companies that issued in hot periods. The information asymmetry was measured by quantitative variables of market microstructure and subsequently grouped into two factors, and only one of the factors was significant in the tests. It was also noted the influence of information asymmetry in the amount of equity issues and in financial leverage throughstatic and dynamic panel data regressions in all sub-periods (1988-1999 and 2000-2012) analyzed. The information asymmetry exerts inversely proportional influence on the volume of annual equity issues for considering companies. In the case of leverage, inversely proportional influence was noted.

This work has the objective of investigating and describing the relevance of the use of the Lot Sizing Economic calculation tool as an instrument for management decision making in industrial organizations regarding the optimization of the production process and management of demands and inventories, as well as the minimization of production total cost. The basic theory used in this study was Old Institutional Economics using the Burns and Scapens (2000) model. The research method adopted is characterized by the applied nature, through interventionist research and data analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection was done through a bibliographical and documentary survey, as well as a case study from the action research that aims to propose the implementation of a new model of production system through the adoption of the integrated Lot Sizing Economic calculation tool to the Department of Planning, Programming and Production Control, of the company object of the study. The use of the economical production lot for the company's most important product resulted in a 1,86% reduction in the total cost of the product sold which impacted the increase of 5,30% in consolidated operating profit or R$/thousand 7.530 in the year. 2018.
