Práticas pedagógicas para alunos com transtorno do espectro autista: processos inclusivos no contexto escolar

This work is part of the research line of Pedagogical Management in Educational Contexts, of the Postgraduate Program in Public Policies and Educational Management at the Federal University of Santa Maria/RS (Universidade Federal de Santa Maria/RS). The study focuses on building strategies that qualify the reception, as well as favoring the process of adaptation and interaction of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the school context, based on the teachers' contributions which are involved in this process. The main theorists who contribute to the reflections of this research on public policies and educational management in the school environment are: Dourado (2007), Libâneo (2002) (2015) regarding the inclusive perspective of the school are: Baptista (2009), Freitas (2008), Mantoan (2008), Canabarro (2018), Pavão (2019), Pereira (2014), Oliveira (2017), (Pereira 2016). When approaching reflections on teaching in the emerging context of inclusion, we searched for studies by Bolzan (2016) (2002) (2009) (2019), Garcia (2005), Schmidt (2014), Pereira (2016), Oliveira (2020). The investigation begins from the challenges faced as manager and teacher of Public School. It was used, as methodology, the qualitative narrative approach of sociocultural nature, which has as data collection instruments narrative spaces in formats of meetings with pre-school and 1st grade teachers of an Elementary School of the Municipal Department of Education. Subsequently, the narrative contributions of the research collaborators were guidelines for the interpretation of the findings, as well as for the elaboration of a guiding document with propositions that contribute to the goals of the educators regarding the reception processes and initial interactions of these students in pre-school education and 1st grade of Elementary School. The context in which the study was developed concerns an Elementary School in the Municipal Department of Education of Santa Maria.

Transações com partes relacionadas sob a ótica da propriedade piramidal

In the context of concentrated structures, shareholders acquire power due to excess of control rights, compared to their cash flow rights (ownership). The difference between control and ownership is called deviation, common in pyramidal structures. In the pyramidal ownership, the controlling shareholder exercises control through at least one publicly traded company. The business ties established may facilitate the attainment of private benefits, through related party transactions, because the use of these transactions may generate conflicts of interest. Due to these aspects, this research aims to analyze the influence of the deviations of rights from the indirect structure in the related party transactions (RPTs) of companies with pyramidal structures in Brazil. The data were obtained on the Reference Form (document with a wide range of financial, operational, and non-operational information for the organization) for the period from 2010 to 2017, combining OLS panel data and quantile regressions. The deviation between control and ownership was calculated using two methodologies exposed in the literature. In characterizing RPTs, social networking techniques were used, demonstrating that financial transactions, such as interbank deposits and mutual contracts, predominate. In addition, some communities of companies were identified, which establish relationships based on a common controlling shareholder. As for the quantitative analysis, it was observed that the deviations of rights positively influence the total value of related party transactions. This influence was also observed for specific transactions between controlling and/or controlled companies. Regarding the analysis of the influence on the company’s performance and value, it was found that there is an inverse relationship between the value of transactions and performance, represented by the return on assets (ROA). For the firm's value, in most models, there was no statistical significance. Another pertinent contribution refers to corporate governance, which showed a positive relationship with the RPTs. In companies with a pyramidal structure, corporate governance did not exercise the role of moderation in expropriation channels.

Percursos e desafios na atuação dos conselhos de acompanhamento e controle social do município de Cachoeira do Sul/RS

This study is part of the Programa de Pós-graduação em Políticas Públicas e Gestão Educacional (PPPG), at the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria - RS (UFSM), developed in Linha de Pesquisa I: Políticas Públicas e Gestão da Educação Básica e Superior, linked to the set of works and productions of the research project (umbrella) of the Study and Research in Policies and Educational Management REDES/UFSM group, which carries out research and studies on public policies and educational management considering the dialogue between Basic Education and Higher, which has as its theme the investigation of the paths and challenges in the performance of the Conselhos de Acompanhamento e Controle Social (CACS) of the Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e de Valorização dos Profissionais da Educação (Fundeb) and the Programa de Alimentação Escolar in the municipality of Cachoeira do Sul/RS. The research proposal is justified by the importance of establishing a dialogical analysis with the course of action of the Conselhos de Acompanhamento e Controle Social (CACS), which are expressed through a democratic space, which encourages the shared management of different social segments in the supervision and social control of resources for the financing of public education. The research problem is: how are public education resources used and how is this action linked to the monitoring performed by society through the CACS, and how is this construction and/or consolidation of public policies for education management being perceived? To meet this intention, it was defined as a general objective to analyze the paths and challenges in the performance of CACS Fundeb and Alimentação Escolar in the daily life of educational management in relation to social control and the application of resources for the financing of education in Cachoeira do Sul/RS; and as specific objectives: To investigate the perception and action of the Conselhos de Acompanhamento e Controle Social (CACS) linked to the legislation that instituted them; to verify the system of monitoring and follow-up of the councils with respect to the effectiveness of the role in social control; to identify the revenues destined to municipal public education and destination of the expenses that are pertinent to the educational public policies; to elaborate an advisory guide on the mechanisms of social control and the application of resources destined to the financing of education in Cachoeira do Sul/RS. The methodological choices are based on a case study (YIN, 2010 and GIL, 2008), of qualitative approach (BOGDAN; BIKLEN, 2003). In addition, it was based on investigative analysis, which uses data triangulation (MINAYO, 2010), interweaving the legal documents, the bibliographies related to the theme and the data constructed throughout the research. The construction of the data came from the application of interviews with the presidents of CACS Fundeb and Alimentação Escolar of the municipality of Cachoeira do Sul/RS, supported by content analysis and document analysis of Bardin (2009). In the conclusion, it was evidenced the analysis of the categories of public policies and the financing of education: adjustments of the mechanisms, approval of accounts, budget 2022 and rational use of resources; categories of educational and social management: articulation between CACS and SMEd, planning and monitoring of actions and participation of social segments; and categories of training and information about the CACS: dissemination of the function of CACS, the role of councilors, guidelines for analysis and work reports. The proposed product is an advisory guide on the mechanisms of social control and the application of the resources destined to the financing of education in Cachoeira do Sul/RS, tied to an agenda of disclosure and training with the school communities, seeking to give access and expanding the information about the scenario of the financing of public education.

Proposta de um retificador ajustável para transmissão de energia sem fio e metodologia de projeto de retificadores differential drive baseada em simulações

This work presents a simulated model of a rectifier with adjustable efficiency for wireless power transfer systems. The adjustment is possible through a control block that, by the combination of 3 differential drive rectifiers, is able to change the power transmission efficiency for a constant output load. In addition, a differential drive rectifier design methodology is presented, in which the rectifier dimensioning is done through graphical analysis based on the rectifier input amplitude and the output current on the load. The proposed adjustable rectifier is designed using GlobalFoundries 130 nm technology process and operates at a frequency of 1 GHz supplying a 20KΩ load. It has 3 adjustment settings where it is possible to obtain a plateau of efficiencies greater than 60% when the input amplitude is greater than 450mV .

Desmistificando as criptomoedas: a contribuição das moedas virtuais na diversificação dos investimentos

Within the wide range of available financial assets are cryptocurrencies or virtual currencies. This financial innovation is based on encryption and all its transactions are recorded and stored digitally by a technology that shares accounting data, known as blockchain. In this context, the study’s objective was to verify the contribution of virtual currencies in the investments’ diversification and was based on the portfolio’s theory of Markowitz (1952). This diversification between assets can be specific to each case, according to the levels of risk preferred by the investor's aversion or affinity. Therefore, five portfolio composition models were selected: average variance, average semi variance, expected loss, average absolute deviation and omega. The sample was divided into 5 sub-samples in order to avoid bias and provide greater robustness to the results. Each sub-sample consisted of 100 shares and 5 cryptocurrencies. The cryptocurrencies used in this research were Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin and Stellar. The period was delimited from January 18, 2017 to March 30, 2021. Also, an additional analysis of the assets’ behavior in the portfolios was carried out, considering the periods before and after the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results showed that Bitcoin was the cryptocurrency with the most consistent performance, participating in most portfolios in all periods analyzed. However, Ethereum and Ripple also showed good results. Litecoin did not obtain consistent results, as it was selected from only one portfolio in the post-pandemic period. Stellar was the only cryptocurrency that was not selected for the portfolio’s composition in any of the applied methodologies. Thus, is confirm that cryptocurrencies can generate diversification benefits and contribute to investments’ return when allocated by investors in their portfolios.

Decisões institucionais episódicas e seus reflexos na internacionalização de empresas de mercados emergentes

The strategic decision-making process can be related to factors based on the industry, the specific resources of the company, or even use both together, added to the institutional conditions that the companies are immersed in. Peng (2008) presents a possible way for companies characteristic of emerging countries to use the strategy tripod (firm resources, specific company resources and institutional conditions / transitions) to formulate the strategies that these companies will use in environments of institutional uncertainties. As internationalization in emerging countries can be impacted by the strategic decisions that governments adopt, either to boost or to restrict international trade (CUERVO-CAZZURA et al., 2019), it sought to verify the reflex that the episodic decisions/actions of governments of an emerging country have had on the internationalization of companies in this context. Through the collection of secondary data and the construction of analysis categories, this dissertation used a longitudinal approach, with the Brazilian footwear sector as the focus of study, which presented episodic government decisions and reflected these in sometimes positive, sometimes negative ways. Data available at Comex-Stat, Abicalçados, UNCTAD, TIC, Statista and previous works that somehow addressed the sector and/or its internationalization were collected and analyzed. It is concluded that episodic decisions by federal government institutions, such as the opening of the market, implementation of the real plan, antidumping measures, exemption from payroll and labor reform reflected in the sector, even if some indirectly. The decisions of state governments were reflected in the relocation of industries in Brazil.

Rede colaborativa virtual: conectando saberes entre professores

This study, linked to the research line Management of Network Educational Technologies, of the Professional Master's Degree in Network Educational Technologies (MPTER), at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) addresses the contribution of a collaborative virtual network in the process of continuing teacher education of the early years of elementary school. Therefore, the research question is how a collaborative virtual network contributes to the continuing education process of teachers in the early years of Elementary School of the Municipal Network of Santa Maria. The methodology involved applied research, with a qualitative approach, of the descriptive type, characterized as participant research. The subjects of this research were municipal teachers participating in the Literacy training program (PROMLA) in Santa Maria municipality. Data collection took place through questionnaires prepared by Google Forms and answered by respondents entirely remotely and digitally. Therefore, three categories of analysis were listed: digital culture, virtual collaborative network and continuing education of teachers. The analysis of the results is characterized as categorical. Finally, the conclusions indicate that for a collaborative learning network to contribute to continuing teacher education, three points must be taken into account: local and current context and needs; environment and tools; collaboration and mediation. It is necessary to communicate, access and disseminate information, as well as to collaborate to exchange experiences and to exchange experiences to qualify teachers. The final product consists of a guidebook organized digitally through a website, containing suggestions for virtual environments that can be used, applications for gamifying content, resources, activities and tools to be used in virtual training meetings, with their respective ways of use.

Políticas públicas e gestão educacional: distorção idade/ano na rede pública de educação no município de Santa Maria/RS

This Professional Master's research comes from the Graduate Program in Public Policy and Educational Management at the Federal University of Santa Maria. Its general objective is to understand the Public Policies related to the age/year distortion, as well as its implications in the correction of the school flow in elementary education in the Santa Maria/RS municipal education network. The following specific objectives were defined: survey age/year distortion rates and school performance indicators at national and municipal levels; to identify the factors that contribute to the occurrence of the age/year distortion in elementary school; to verify which public policies are proposed or adopted by the municipality of Santa Maria in order to reduce the age/year distortion rates; to prepare an illustrative and explanatory e-book on the data obtained in the research and disseminate it on the Network. It is based on a qualitative approach research (Minayo 2010 and Flick 2013), of the Yin case study type (2011), carried out in the municipal public education network of Santa Maria/RS. The research subjects were the managers of the municipal education department and also the managers of municipal schools. As research techniques, semi-structured interviews and online questionnaires were used. Data analysis was based on three categories and their subcategories: Public Policies – Preventive, Remedial, Intersectoral Actions; Factors – Intraschool, Extraschool, Coronavirus and Education; School trajectory – Concept of School Success, Non-Learning, Assessment. Thus, the age/year distortion rates have been decreasing by about one percentage point since 2006 in Brazilian public schools. It is pointed out that the age/year distortion in Elementary School is a complex issue, and they are related to public policies, family culture, issues of social vulnerability or more specific personal situations. In the municipality of Santa Maria, the public policy Connection of Knowledge stands out for being directly linked to the strategy of correcting school flow, based on two initiatives: one preventive and the other restorative. As it is a research linked to the Professional Master's, the educational product is an e-book on the topic age/year distortion and school flow correction in the municipality of Santa Maria. It is concluded that the researched subject still opens possibilities for the development of other investigations in greater depth or specificity, such as the hearing of students and/or family members who are in age/year distortion, their conceptions of education, life plans, among others. It is hoped that this research can contribute to overcoming the number of students with age/year distortion in elementary school in the municipality of Santa Maria/RS, allowing to qualify and optimize teaching, even interfering in the better use of public resources invested in education.

The present study is linked to the Professional Master's Degree of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) of the Graduate Program in Public Policy and Educational Management. The research aimed to understand the implications of the literacy block in the ways of thinking and producing pedagogical work. To do so, it defined as specific objectives: identify the regulatory frameworks referring to the policies of the literacy block; recognize the evolution of the rates of approval and retention at the end of the literacy block of the state network in the period 2011-2019; build an informative material containing the rates of approval and retention at the end of the literacy block in the coverage of the 36th CRE; recognize the implications of continued progression to the literacy block in the pedagogical work. Studies by Dourado (2009), Freitas (2009), Gatti (2004), Jacomini (2010), Minayo (2002), Rodrigues (2018), as well as the Federal Constitution (1988), the Laws of Directives and Bases of National Education (1961, 1971, 1996), and the National Curricular Guidelines (2010) for the 9-year elementary school were references for analysis and problematization. From a quanti-qualitative approach, developed in two stages, the study included: survey and systematization of data on retention and approval of students in the coverage of the 36th CRE and organization of conversations, in the perspective of the ECER (Powaczuk et al., 2021) with the institution that had the highest average retention in the period investigated. The analysis of the quantitative indexes showed no great discrepancies between the institutions, demonstrating the homogenizing perspective of these indicators, since it annuls the contextual conditions from which the indexes emerge. Regarding the narratives from the conversations, the analysis was based on two categorical dimensions: extra-school and intra-school policies; and teachers' conceptions about learning in the school context, which unfolded into four recurrences: external policies and their discontinuities; internal school policies; vulnerable contexts and the school as a refuge for learning; and learning: external factors and their implications. It is concluded that the pedagogical work is based on teachers' conceptions which tension the applicability of educational policies, generating a production of meaning that is unique to each context. Therefore, we reach the thesis that for the generation of a consistent policy on the literacy block, it is imperative that there is training work, because it is necessary to reflect on the work developed in the school context, establishing moments of dialogue, problematizing, collectively projecting actions that will qualify the pedagogical work in the literacy block and, consequently, improve the indexes, growing the educational field as a whole.
