Franciscana dolphin (Pontoporia blainvillei) diet from Northern Espírito Santo State coast, Brazil
The franciscana dolphin (Pontoporia blainvillei) is the most threatened dolphin species in the Brazilian coast. The study area is the northernmost distribution range of the species and the stock inhabiting the northern State of Espírito Santo is isolated from other populations. Likewise, there is no information on feeding habits of franciscana dolphins in the study area. Hence, the aim of this study was to describe the diet of franciscana dolphins from the Northern Espírito Santo State coast. Stomach contents of 18 individuals stranded in the study area between January 2012 and March 2015 were analyzed. We ranked each specific prey item found in stomach contents using the frequency of occurrence, the total count of prey items, and the relative abundance of prey. It was found novel records of prey species for the franciscana dolphin and we explored possible feeding strategy patterns. The fish Isopisthus parvipinnis was the most common prey consumed by the dolphins. Our report agrees with previous studies showing demersal fish species, mainly sciaenids, as the most common preys consumed by the franciscana dolphin followed by pelagic fish species.

The Brazilian capitalist state: Analysis of social rights in times of neoliberal orthodoxy
This article is based on theoretical and documentary research and aims to analyze the document Uma Ponte para o Futuro [A bridge to the future], as well as the measures carried out by the (illegitimate) Brazilian government headed by the Brazilian Democratic Movement (MDB) in the period 2016-2018. Among the measures analyzed are the labor counterreform, the Constitutional Amendments (EC) 93 and 95, and the bill proposing a social security counterreform. The article emphasizes the impact of such measures on the working class. The study is based on the understanding of the capitalist state as ontologically subordinated to the interests of capital, which is expressed in the characteristics of the policies adopted and proposed by the MDB’s government in Brazil. When analyzing the scope of the economic and social policy of the period, the article makes clear who is penalized with the measures put forward by the government.
The references of François Dubet in the scientific journals of Physical Education: limits and continuities
The objective of this article is to map the presence of the sociologist François Dubet in the scientific production of the field of Physical Education (EF) and analyze how their theoretical contributions flow to the area. Dubet is a French sociologist reference in the current academic world. It presents Dubet's description of the "sociology of experience" and the contemporary democratic school, demonstrating a possible deinstitutionalization of this space. The text will be responsible for carrying out a bibliographical survey in the main periodicals of the area in order to see those articles that referenced Dubet. He also points out that there is little dialogue between EF and the French sociologist, however, the field seems to initiate a critical approach to Dubet's theories

An Objection to the Dispositional Conception of Unconscious Mental Phenomena
This paper attacks the dispositional theory of unconscious mental phenomena. First, I assess different aspects of consciousness as a property of mental states (section 2). After that, I discuss the description of phenomena in partially dispositional terms (section 3). The assessment of some real cases of our psychological functioning shows that there are at least some unconscious states which have an occurrent mental existence, not a dispositional one (section 4). So, the dispositional theory cannot save the Cartesian view (section 5).

Energy sources and some STS interrelations conceived by Natural Science area’s undergraduates
The fiction of uncontrolled growth in a finite planet has proven itself as unsustainable. In this regard, it becomes relevant that joint actions for more effective control of economic activities be agreed on, especially to avoid further deterioration of the biosphere. It is in the face of this issue and in light of STS (Science-Technology-Society) education’s input that, on this study, there will be answered how undergraduates from Natural Science area comprehend the exploration of different sources in energetic matrix. In accord with this questioning the objective ends up being to analyze the information about energy sources as well as STS interrelation conceived by a team of 16 participants of the survey. Besides recognizing a specific unfamiliarity with respect to the undergraduates concerning the energy source’s feature in different matrixes (both national and worldwide speaking), with the need of enlightenment in respect of particular basic phenomena such as acid rain, could be observed a predominance of conceptions about STS interrelation that endorse the superiority myths of the technocratic decisions model, the salvationist/redemptorist perspective attributed to Science and Technology, the technologic determinism and the unlimited economic growth. This study is expected to be a revival for educators, especially on the Natural Science area, in order to minimize these gaps on professor’s qualification.

The Program Puntos de Cultura and its beneficiaries: A case study in the region of Buenos Aires
This article analyzes the process of implementation of the Puntos de Cultura program in Argentina, based on the voices of the program’s beneficiaries – especially the organization El Culebrón Timbal, which is taken as a case study. The study addresses how the program has been implemented since the new federal government took office in 2016, observing the changes and continuities in the daily work of the beneficiaries in comparison to the first part of the program in the years 2011-2015. The research adopted a qualitative approach, privileging the construction of meanings by the subjects about their daily practices, supported by an anthropological perspective. During the field research, it was possible to observe that the social organization mobilizes and debates, in its daily activities, the different meaning of culture, cultural policies, youth, popular culture and, more specifically, what it means to be a Punto de Cultura.

Conceptual profile of equation: a study about the conceptions of prospective mathematics teachers
The centrality of the concept of equation in Mathematics and in other areas, both in Basic Education and in Higher Education was one of the main reasons to develop this research whose objective was to identify and to understand the conceptions of equation from prospective mathematics teachers. Grounded on Theory of Conceptual Profiles and researches about Conceptual Profile of Equation, the investigation was constituted on a qualitative research, in an interpretative perspective, whose data were analyzed according to the Content Analysis method. It becomes evident, in its findings, that the conceptions of equation of future mathematics teachers investigated are related to some zones of a Conceptual Profile of Equation under construction, especially with those that refer to the pragmatic and procedural character of the equations. The data analysis also allowed the elaboration of a new zone of the Conceptual Profile of Equation, denominated Formal Zone, besides the reorganization of the other zones of the profile.

Formation and Vocation: Scientific Dissemination Lectures for High School Students in Amazonia
Despite the range of research performed in Brazilian universities and institutions, in the most diverse areas of knowledge, the scientific career has remained little sought by young people planning to enter in higher education courses. In addition to the variety of socioeconomic factors that can be addressed in an attempt to explain this low demand, the small number of scientific outreach specialized initiatives focusing on science and technology-based professional choices can also be evidenced. With the possibility of bringing students closer to the reality of scientific and academic careers and establishing young people's contact with researchers and their researches, one can contribute to professional choice, reducing university dropout rates caused by the lack of knowledge about the intended course. We report the promotion of lectures on scientific dissemination since the 1960s in the Brazilian Amazonia, the influence of these educational actions over the years in the Amazonian community, as well as other activities currently carried out by scientific dissemination initiatives of the Federal University of Pará.

Authenticity and intermediality in William Blake's illuminated books: a translatorial impasse
This paper looks at how translations of William Blake into Portuguese treat the visual materiality of his illuminated books. It will assess the translatorial solutions used in Jerusalém (translated by Saulo Alencastre, Cânone Gráfico, 2015) and “A rosa doente” (translated by Augusto de Campos, Viva Vaia, 1979), among other translations.
