A presente pesquisa, tem como objetivo avaliar a situação atual da empresa estudada no que tange ao gerenciamento de projetos e propor um modelo mais adequado para sua estrutura, uma vez que esta organização emprega grande parte de seu orçamento em diversos tipos de projetos e não possui um processo definido para gerenciamento deles. Esta pesquisa foi realizada em uma empresa do ramo industrial, fabricante e revendedora de máquinas para pavimentação de rodovias e extração de minério. Com base na pesquisa, pode-se afirmar que não existe uma fórmula única para implementação nem mesmo um único modelo de escritório de gerenciamento de projetos: cada organização pode desenvolver uma configuração específica, baseado em suas características, recursos e conhecimento. Conclui-se que a implantação de um gerenciamento de projetos adequado à estrutura da empresa, trará benefícios concretos para ela, proporcionando um maior controle sobre os investimentos empregados nos projetos de negócio e disseminando o conhecimento em gerenciamento de projetos na empresa como um todo. Diante da comparação apresentada, foi possível identificar o quanto a empresa perdeu na execução inadequada do segundo projeto, onde o custo ultrapassou em 107% e o prazo em 48 dias úteis do planejado. Propõe-se que a empresa implemente o escritório de gerenciamento de projetos conforme modelo elaborado nesta pesquisa, cujas características foram baseadas na metodologia MMGP e, realize o acompanhamento das atividades durante o primeiro ano de operação.

Since March of this year the Covid-19 theme has been addressed from various angles. However, what draws our attention is the low visibility given to the Brazilian prison system, and the situation faced by male and female inmates. This article aims to raise awareness of this issue. Based on data from the National Survey of Statistical Information of the Brazilian Penitentiary System and from the Prison System Monitoring and Inspection Group, the analysis shows that the global health crisis caused by Covid-19 has been deepened by structural problems in prisons, which has increased the number of cases and deaths across the country.

The citizen's profile has changed in relation to the impacts caused by high consumption and the incorrect disposal generated by its waste; As a result, citizens have continuously sought solutions that minimize the impacts of their actions. Thus, the present study aimed to identify the best location for the installation of the Sorting Center link for the reverse logistics of paper chips generated in schools in the Vila Mariana neighborhood, taking into account the decision variables. Through the chosen methodology, the following specific objectives were defined: mapping schools in the Vila Mariana neighborhood, in the city of São Paulo; identify the decision variables that influence and should be taken into account to determine the estimates; evaluate the installation of a Sorting Center to serve the region using a location model, center of gravity. Considering the method chosen, schools in the region were mapped, making it possible to define the best location for the Sorting Center, as well as to evaluate its installation according to the criteria of volume of paper chips generated by the mapped schools, cost of transporting the waste from schools to the Sorting Center and the distance between schools and the Sorting Center.

Neste texto, propomos uma reflexão sobre o espaço ocupado pela infância na sociedade ateniense do período clássico (séculos V e IV a.C.). Partiremos da dificuldade de demarcação e conceitualização dessa faixa etária entre os helenos e da sua visão social negativa para entender a importância das crianças em Atenas, para além da perpetuação do grupo doméstico e da pólis, pensando nas suas relações de afeto familiar e na sua socialização por meio de jogos e de brincadeiras infantis. As imagens áticas pintadas em suporte cerâmico serão a documentação essencial para o presente estudo.

O artigo oferece uma reflexão sobre as condições de trabalho do Sistema Único de Assistência Social (SUAS) no cenário pandêmico do Covid19. A análise reconhece as determinações do mundo do trabalho desenhadas pelo modelo capitalista e pelo déficit do sistema protetivo, ambos incidindo sobre a desigualdade social brasileira, agravada pela primeira grande pandemia do século XXI. A leitura de classe social se constituiu como categoria central na compreensão dessa realidade e, por conseguinte, da realidade dos usuários do SUAS, como também foi fundamental para analisar a condição dos trabalhadores nesse Sistema Público. A pesquisa empírica foi realizada pelas Gerências de Vigilância Socioassistencial do Nordeste e os resultados postos aqui analisam dados do estado da Paraíba, notadamente os que revelam os vínculos empregatícios, salários, condições objetivas e mudanças nesse cenário atual.

O artigo aborda experiências na adoção de medidas de proteção social frente à pandemia de COVID19 na América Latina, com foco na Argentina, México e Brasil. O argumento central é que a pandemia requer medidas de proteção social, mas esbarra nas limitações dos sistemas implantados nos países. Assim, a crise sanitária, agrava as já profundas desigualdades sociais. Buscou-se identificar pontos convergentes, singularidades e desafios para seus sistemas de proteção social e conclui-se que as respostas produzidas, voltadas para segurança de renda, por meio de auxílios de emergência para indivíduos/famílias ou socorro a setores produtivos, se mostram insuficientes. É primordial articulá-las com medidas abrangentes de proteção social que fortaleçam o Estado para garantir direitos universais de cidadania, como saúde, trabalho protegido e renda básica de cidadania.

As disputas envolvendo as políticas sociais durante a pandemia de Covid-19 foram intensas. No âmbito educacional, as medidas de distanciamento social resultaram no fechamento das escolas e na consequente necessidade de adoção de políticas emergenciais para enfrentar os desafios educacionais impostos. Este artigo busca contribuir para a análise dessas políticas, indicando como consequência o risco de avanço da privatização da educação. Consideramos que o Estado desempenha papel central nesse processo, portanto a privatização deve ser entendida em sua complexidade, não como mero deslocamento de fronteiras entre público/estatal e privado/não-estatal. Para a análise, coletamos informações a partir dos pareces emitidos pelo Conselho Nacional de Educação e dos documentos divulgados por organismos do setor privado – nacional e internacional – que influenciaram os debates e decisões.

Book review of: CARROLL, M. Infancy and earliest childhood in the Roman World: a fragment of time. Oxford University Press: Oxford, 2018. 336 p.

Acknowledging the importance of games and plays in the social interaction process and knowledge acquisition made by small children isn’t exclusive from contemporary society. Over the analysis of ancient greek texts, such as Plato’s Laws, it’s possible to observe that those activities receive important reflections about its relations with the educational process of the future Athenian citizen. Beyond text documentation, toys and infant plays are depicted in greek ceramic from the classical period, especially on choes, child’s exclusive use vases and related to the context of the Anthesteria. The objective of this article is to analyse the way games and plays are conceived by Plato on Laws, also, how they are represented over three choes examples from centuries V and IV B.C., objecting to understand in what measures those activities were related to the educational process of Athenian boys from this period. 

Childhood studies in the late-ancient world have always been related to family history. Such integration ended up launching analyzes on the participation of children in legal and patrimonial terms into oblivion, something that both the civil and ecclesiastical legislative documentation contradict. In addition to the issues surrounding heritage and which are of essential socio-political importance in the context of the Hispanic-Visigoth kingdom of Toledo in the seventh century, we highlight the offering action on the part of parents or relatives of their children, a practice known as monastic oblatio. When offered to monastic communities at an early age, oblates did so without their consent, which ended up causing future problems, such as the attempt to abandon monastic life, something completely prohibited by ecclesiastical and secular authorities. In this study we sought to observe an interesting change in the legal paradigm that allowed the oblate to choose whether he wanted to remain in the monastic condition, an innovation that presents Hispano-Visigoth legislation as updated in that historical context in relation to the Roman legal and cultural tradition.

Centros de Distribuição (CD) são instalações fundamentais para a Cadeia de Suprimentos e são estruturados de acordo com a sua demanda e localização geográfica, para poder atender seus compradores. Quando estão estrategicamente localizados, os centros de distribuição de uma empresa, proporcionam redução significativa dos custos logísticos. Assim, este estudo tem como objetivo mapear a atividade científica (bibliometria) com base no tema: fatores que auxiliam na localização de um CD, utilizando a princípio todo o período de abrangência das principais bases de dados disponíveis: Web of Science – WOS, Scopus e Scielo. O processo selecionou 11 artigos relevantes, alinhados ao tema, realizou-se ainda uma análise bibliométrica qualitativa do portfólio a fim de caracterizar e analisar os artigos. A maioria dos trabalhos trabalhou com a teoria Fuzzy e outros métodos de análise multicritérios. E pode-se observar que acesso, custo, impacto ambiental e recursos são mencionados em vários artigos do portfólio final analisado.

In this article, we intend to examine the John Chrysostom’s ideas regarding the educational formation of children between 380 and 386, when he was a deacon of the Antiochene congregation, after living for six years in the company of the monks who dwelled on the Mt. Silpius. In such occasion he could acquire in loco knowledge about the monastic lifestyle. In order to do that, we analyse the Chrysostom’s arguments exposed in Adversus oppugnatores vitae monasticae, a treatise in which the author not only stands up for the monasticism, but settle the tenets of a Christian pedagogy according to which the parents should let the formation of their children in the monks’ hands instead of sending them to the school of the rhetors and grammarians, whereas the monks were the only ones capable of converting children into honourable men. Eventually, the Chrysostom’s ideas reveal a struggle against the classical school, whose curriculum was based on rhetoric and oratory, pivots of the paideia, but considered useless by him.

Este texto analiza las implicaciones nocivas de la pandemia de COVID-19 para la política social como derecho de ciudadanía. Por tanto, demarca el actual sistema global de capitales, con su interminable crisis estructural, como elemento fundacional de estas implicaciones. Incorpora temas y enfoques emergentes o poco visitados, como el cambio climático, para ampliar el alcance analítico convencional y agregarle nuevas contribuciones fácticas y teóricas. En este contexto de doble crisis letal de lesa humanidad, la política social guiada por el compromiso con la satisfacción de las necesidades humanas sufre un violento retroceso: se reduce a satisfacer las necesidades de lucro del capital, volviéndose reacia a la sociabilidad democrática.

As the first European literary documents, the Iliad and the Odyssey ensure in the cultural history of the West a unique status: assuming itself since Antiquity as the first foundation of philological and philosophical research, and superior literary and artistic model, and today tended to be interpreted in the framework of slow creative elaboration of generations of aedos, based on a peculiar technique of production and transmission, both articulate in an enigmatic poetic plot, from their traditional nature, threads of mythic narratives and historical realities that modern archaeological investigations confirm. Starting from the poetic pretext offered by the two works, we propose to trace references to the universe of childhood. Some, generic, occur as images of a certain extract from human society, marked by peculiar characteristics, functions and needs. Others, supported by specific mentions of determined children, assume a specific dramatic functionality in the mythical plot of the two poems, which contributes to the peculiar symbolic density of the narrative.

Introduction: Violence against women is a global phenomenon that does not respect race, religion or social class. It is characterized by the use of words or actions that hurt as people and can result in injury, suffering and even death. It is a major social problem that knows no geographical barriers and is spreading throughout the world. Objective: Analyze the prevalence of violence against women in the Northeast and its impacts on public health. Methodology: an integrative literature review, in which the LILACS and SCIELO databases were used for research through Health Sciences Descriptors. As inclusion criteria, they were selected as publications in Portuguese and English, available in full and included in the time frame of the last 7 years. Conclusion: the results showed that violence against women is a serious social problem, but that every day it also becomes a serious public health problem. The services offered by Primary Health Care are essential for the identification of occurrences of violence against women. For the identification process to be successful, it is necessary that the health professionals responsible for care are trained. Many doctors, nurses and responsible health workers are not familiar with the topic. There are also professionals who readily identify the situation of violence, but feel powerless. Very often, the victim does not consider that a problem of domestic violence should be analyzed and recognized as a problem related to the health system.

O objetivo desse artigo é apresentar uma análise histórica do estudo da questão ambiental na área de conhecimento do Serviço Social brasileiro, visando identificar i) a emergência da temática ambiental e ii) quais conceitos de questão ambiental são cunhados e/ou mais referenciados. A partir da perspectiva teórica-metodológica marxista e da pesquisa bibliográfica, pode-se aferir que a temática tem um percurso de construção de cerca de três décadas, visto ser na década de 1990 quando ocorre o início da produção teórica, indo da ausência de formulação de um conceito de questão ambiental à sua construção, que é permeada por um conjunto de disputas e tensionamentos.

Estudo etnográfico desenvolvido no âmbito do doutoramento em Educação, cujo objetivo é analisar as sociabilidades de jovens integrantes do movimento hip-hop na capital do Estado de Santa Catarina. É na juventude que as sociabilidades se ampliam para além da família e da escola. Ao vivenciarem novas interações praticando Skate na praça do bairro, duelando freestyles nas Batalhas de Rap, discutindo suas poesias com outros internautas, via aplicativos digitais, os sujeitos observados nesta pesquisa constroem processos de resistência, denunciando a ausência de uma política pública efetiva para a juventude – que vá além das prescrições legislativas –, ou seja, que de fato se materialize em ações concretas nas suas vidas. Os dados etnográficos trazem à tona cenas de jovens oriundos das ‘quebradas’ da Ilha de Santa Catarina em processos criativos de afirmação que, através do ritmo e poesia, refletem sobre a sua condição juvenil na sociedade, os preconceitos que partem da população aos territórios periféricos da cidade, bem como a violência policial protagonizada pelo Estado.
