LITERARY READER TRAINING IN CHILD EDUCATION: READING FABLES

This article aims to present to the readers a discussion and consequently a proposal on the teaching of literary reading in early childhood education. We methodologically organize the discussion in two sessions, namely: The first discusses, based on psychodrama, the value of the spontaneity of children in the conduction of the work. And in the second session we present a proposal of reading with fables, having as didactic the devices interchangeable readers. Thus, as reinforcement to the discussion, the article emphasizes the professionalization of the reader lecturer in the production of reading activities for classes of early childhood education. Keywords: Reading. Childhood. Professionalization.

THE PLACE OF CORDEL LITERATURE IN THE TEXTBOOK: REFLECTIONS AND ANALYSIS

The present work aims to reflect on the space reserved to the cordel literature in textbooks by analysing part of a unit from the book Português Linguagens, by William Cereja and Thereza Cochar Magalhães, relating such an approach to reading and writing practices. For this, we adopted the socio-interactionist perspective of language based on Bakhtin (2003); linguistics and discursives considerations of Fiorin (2002) and Orlandi (2012); Pfeiffer (2003) and Serrani (2005) about reading, writing and language teaching. In addition, some of the propositions of Marinho and Pinheiro (2012) are presented on the work of cordel literature in the classroom and a critical study by Luciano (2012) about this literature. Finally, we observed how the cordel literature is placed in a secondary role in the analyzed textbook, thus pointing to a devaluation of this literature and its culture in the teaching of Portuguese Language. Keywords: Cordel literature. Classroom environment. Textbook.

GENDER READINGS AND DISCUSSIONA AT SCHOOL

We present a work experience with the theme of gender in a public school of Basic Education, in Irecê, interior of Bahia. Initially, we bring a theoretical topic in which we explore gender problems that persist in classrooms and school corridors; we show alternatives for such questions to be resolved and we anchor our discussion in authors such as Joan Scott, Guacira Louro Maria and Jane Felipe, considering gender as a necessary and useful category for analysis in school programs. Next, we present the development of activities and justify the need to discuss gender in school, in the face of cases of machismo that are still occurring in school and in the places where students live. BRAZIL SEEN FROM EXILE IN THE NOVEL STELLA MANHATTAN, BY SILVIANO SANTIAGO

We seek, in this article, to perceive the peculiarity of the external vision derived from the experience of exile, from the characters of the novel "Stella Manhattan", by Silviano Santiago. In order to do so, we resorted to the problematization of the relation between literature and nationality and to the discussion about mourning, exile and colonial stereotypes to understand the images of Brazil projected in the novel. INHUMAN ANTHROPOLOGY IN FOUCAULT AND SAFATLE

This article aims to problematize education according to the concept of inhuman in Foucault (2007) and Safatle (2012). To a last extent, this is meant to confront a way of thinking man in Anthropology. These philosophers put in check the subjects, the man; they question the very way of being man and the anthropology. The capacity of representation as the organizer of the human ways of life is put in question. It should be asked: if education seems to be directed towards the formation of man, what would be an education from the point of view of an inhuman anthropology? Keywords: Inhuman. Education. Representation. Philosophy.

NECROPOLÍTICA E IDENTIDADE NACIONAL EM HOME FIRE, DE KAMILA SHAMSIE

In Home Fire (2017), Kamilla Shamsie approaches themes such as the instability of national identity for minorities as well as islamophobia and racism. By adapting Sophocles’ Antigone to a contemporary setting, she reimagines the contrast between the law laid down by the gods and the law enforced by men to introduce a discussion about the discrepancies between law and justice in twenty-first-century Britain. To discuss how Shamsie presents the tensions between the State and ethnical and religious minorities, this article will analyse her novel under the light of Decolonial studies. Achille Mbembe’s Necropolitics (2003) will support a discussion of how Shamsie’s plot illustrates the instability of the rule of law for the colonised, while Boaventura de Sousa Santos’s conception of “abyssal thought” (2007) will allow us to investigate the structures that uphold patterns of inequality and institutionalised violence against minorities, one of the novel’s main themes. The Family struggle to survive and the political disappointement are some of the issues raised and show na author who is interested not only in describing her own story, but also in giving a mute colletive a chance to express themselves. (DE)CONSTRUCTION OF FACE OF THE WOMAN IN THE HEADLINES ABOUT FEMINICIDE

Estudos Críticos do Discurso. Polarização Discursiva. Notícias.

IS IT ONLY MIMIMI? METAPRAGMATIC DISPUTES IN ONLINE PUBLIC SPACES

In order to confront violence against the youth, the “Viva a Palavra Programme: language circuits, peace and black youth resistance in Fortaleza’s periphery” has aimed to strengthen social movements and cultural groups of the periphery youth of Fortaleza. This work has its starting point at the cartographies of political practices used by the periphery youth realised inside the Viva a Palavra, using the cultural pragmatics as participant research.

WAYS IN PRAGMATIC RESEARCH: POLITNESS, VIOLENCE AND GENDER

MARGARET ATWOOD: SF, ETHICS, GENDER, AND ECOLOGY

This chapter analyses Margaret Atwood´s dystopian novel Oryx and Crake (2003), the first of the MaddAddam trilogy, by focusing on the juxtapositions of ethical, gender and ecological issues. We look at the figuration of the major women characters, especially Oryx, regarding the ways Atwood´s SF can be aligned to contemporary theories about women´s body, and the mascarade (Russo, 1986; Grosz, 1990; Butler, 1990). By observing the functioning of the dystopian principle of world reduction (Jameson, 2005) in Atwood´s narrative, we stress the gender politics underlying the portrayal of the women characters as we deal with the following questions: how to understand the author´s problematizing of women´s trajectories in the context of the patriarchal ideology as still configured in the future depicted in the novel? To what extent do women´s bodies reenact a potential identification with the oppressor? What are the literary metaphors at play in the construction of the interactions within the human and the more-than-human (Alaimo, 2008) universe? Bearing in mind gender and ecological tropes, how ethical is the world created by the Canadian author? Viewed as SF, in the sense that it combines science fact, science fiction, speculative fabulation, and speculative feminism (Haraway, 2016), Atwood´s works may raise provocative reflections as regards the future of humanity (?). KEYWORDS: Women´s sf. Ethics. Gender. Margaret Atwood. Feminist Ecocriticism.
