The Minimalist Program, PRO and Case
The present work has, through a theoretical cut of the Generative Syntax, to use the Chomskyan research program, the Minimalist Program, for the analysis of the PRO category. This category is considered phonetically empty, but syntactically present, being responsible for syntactic relations such as those belonging to pronouns, whether they are defined or not, and even referential expressions. In this work a brief comparison of the discussions of Chomsky & Lasnik (1996) and Martin (1996) on the presence or absence of Case in the syntactic relations of the PRO category is also carried out.

Eduardo Marciano and the difficult process of influence and misreading in "O encontro marcado" by Fernando Sabino
Eduardo Marciano, character in the book O Encontro Marcado by Fernando Sabino, had a dream: writing a novel. For this would go a long way throughout the literature with authors and their works ever stablished. But to get the creation to his novel, Eduardo Marciano would have to walk a lot more difficult, this would have to take ownership and to dispossess themselves of strong poets, would have to suffer the anxiety of influence and then misread their precursors, through a critical reading and a literary revisionism to then launch themselves as strong poet. Therefore, it is proposed to the theories of Bloom (1995, 2002) examine the route of the Sabino’s character in the struggle for appropriation and expropriation, influence and misreading of the strong to constitute themselves as a writer and write his novel.

The recreation of the Pícaro in Brazilian literature
In the present article, we search for studying the configuration of the trickster in brazilian literature, who can be seen as a re-creation of the spanish pícaro character. We also accomplish a commentary of the novel Malditos paulistas: romance policial-picaresco, by Marcos Rey with the purpose of detaching the main characteristics of the literary trickster and the approaches that can be established between the picaresque character and the trickster.

Grammatical relation direct object: the interface between syntax, semantics and pragmatics
The present article aims to investigate the discursive manifestations of the direct object grammatical relation, based on the syntactic-semantic and discursive-pragmatic levels that underlie the manifestation of this element. For this, the research is oriented by the theoretical framework of the functionalism, in its North American and Brazilian side. This theoretical current shares the view that language is a living and malleable organism, subject to the pressures coming from sociocultural contexts. Grammar, in turn, is the result of linguistic standards created, maintained and systematized in and for language use. The analysis prioritizes the semantic types of verb and its relation with the argument syntactically coded as direct object. Direct objects are classified as morphological coding (lexical Nominal Syntagma or pronominal Nominal Syntagma), thematic paper and informational status. The source of the empirical data is the Corpus Discourse & Grammar: the language spoken and written in the city of Natal (FURTADO DA CUNHA, 1998), composed of texts in the spoken modality and their correspondents in written form.

Literature, elderness and interculture
This article presents aspects of the memories of South American writers, older than sixty years, detaching the old age they experienced. The comparison detains in comparative poetics, intercultural with a semiotic obliquity, which prioritizes the style of each writer, which allows the seizure of meanings that serve as marks of identity of writers.

Syntactic Inferences in Interface
In this article, we attempted to demonstrate how syntax, semantics, morphology, and pragmatics are related in the formation of meaning in natural language. Special focus has been given to syntax, because sometimes, how this can interfere in the sense of a sentence is underestimated. For the analysis of excerpts from Folha Online to illustrate how linguistic deviations can affect or initiate an inferential process, the approach adopted was based on Relief Theory (Sperber and Wilson, 1995) and studies developed, also, from the perspective of this.

On the acquisition and the creative aspect of language: Noam Chomsky's answers to Plato’s and Descartes’s problems
This study intends to do a reading of what Noam Chomsky called the Plato’s Problem and the Descartes’s Problem. The first seeks to answer the question about how it is possible for adult human beings to possess such a complex and rich knowledge of the language system, since their contact with the world can be considered limited and the initial stimulus they receive during language acquisition are so poor; and the second is related to the creative aspect of language, which allows the elaboration of an infinite number of sentences from a finite number of elements and structures.

Onomasiological microstructures of FISHERMAN in the Baiacu-Vera Cruz-Bahia community
Onomasiological fields of the specialized fishing activity at Baiacu-Vera Cruz-Bahia community are analyzed. These analyses are based on the theoretical and methodological approaches on Onomasiology and Semasiology, which are based on the proposal from European Structural Semantics, by K. Baldinger (1970), as well as debates in the field of Lexicology. We present a survey developed from the application of linguistic surveys with people who work in fishing, and supplemented with data from general and etymological dictionaries.

The bio/graphy in paratopies of Antonio Lobo Antunes
In this article, we reflect on António Lobo Antunes’ work in the light of Discourse Analysis, especially drawing upon the concept of paratopia as an insightful basis to appreciate the autobiographical dimension of this Portuguese author’s books (autobiographical dimension admitted by the author himself). Thus, on the one hand, we will use the novels “Memória de elefante”, “Conhecimento do inferno” and “Os cus de Judas”, which make up the initial trilogy of Antunes’ career. On the other hand, we will rely on interviews by the writer, to the extent that such statements make the autobiographical components of the books explicit. All the journalistic material consulted was collected by two recent works, namely, the volumes organized by Blanco (2001) and Arnaut (2008).

The constitution of signification in the language by the infant: an enunciative approach on Language Acquisition
My goal in this paper is to analyze the infant’s speech in process of language acquisition, trying to interpret it from an enunciative point of view, and having as theoretical support the Theory of Énonciation, elaborated by Émile Benveniste. For this purpose, I analyze dialogs between infant and adult, suggesting hypothesis that may explain the process of constitution of signification in the infant’s speech through the relation between form and meaning in the sémiotique/sémantique scope of language.

Theory of dialogue: a contribution to teaching activity
This paper aims to reflect on how work of exploration of dialogical situations could be developed in a Portuguese Language Textbook (LDLP). The theoretical framework is based on the structure of LDLP, according to Bezerra (2001) and PCNs (1998), and the Theory of Dialogue , Campos (2004). We conclude that the LDLP analyzed does not explore the dialogue completely and if the cited Theory was applied, students would learn more about the linguistic wealth, enrich, well, teaching work with dialogue as the object of analysis.

SPEAKING “APAISANADO”: A MANNER TO DESIGNATE BORDER LANGUAGES
This research in Language Studies finds support in both the Theory of the Utterance and Discourse Analysis, benefiting from the dialogue between these two theories while discussing the designation of the language of “the others”, that is, trying to understand how a name can be given to a language that is already named, taking into consideration the utterance space in the border, according to Sturza (2006). Our corpus is constituted by pieces of oral utterances produced by speakers at the Brazilian-Uruguayan border, in the cities of Livramento/Rivera and Bagé. Based on the utterances collected, we believe that it is interesting to consider the relation created between the language and the speaker, and to perceive the constitution of the linguistic materiality of these utterances. There is in language a discourse about itself materialized in the collected utterances.

Dialogue on Large defects
This paper presents the theory of dialogue (COSTA), in which it assumes there is a natural tendency for connectivity, allowing it thus explain the natural propensity that a man has for communication. In this theory articulated four levels are considered to describe the dialogue: the so-called explicit, implicit said, the intentional and inferential. We discussed the theories and inferential models to build an interface for describing the inferential level dialogue, as proposed in the theory of dialogue (COSTA).

Musical culture and dialogical behavior: a cognitivist approach for interaction through musical language
The present work brings a cognitive model that proposes communication through musical language. We consider communicative manifestations as behaviors aiming to elicitate other behaviors in social interactions. From this point on, we can argue that songs are tools for dialogue, with communicative behavior triggering listener's behavior through music interpretation and meaning attribution. In this sense, the communicative interaction bases itself not only in informative content, but also in the interaction between cognitive domains of individuals involved in every human activity.

Emotions in communication: intention or relevance?
The purpose of the present article is to show that communication is guided by an intimate relation between emotions, intentions and inferences. We present Sperber and Wilson’s (1995) Relevance Theory, whose conviction in rationality does not permit an adequate explanation of the interference of emotions in communication. Them, we describe Campos’ (2010) Dialogue Theory, which demonstrate a greater potential to explain the relationship between emotions and intentions.

The informality of virtual-interactive language
It is assumed that written speeches in interactive sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, represent a direction of informality in written communication in virtual environments, in order to illustrate (i) the centrality of intentionality and emotion and (ii) the simplifying in the mediation of language in the virtual environment. Accordingly, we analyze a set of linguistic tags of this rhetoric of informality in which the speaking and writing language become close.
