The purpose of this research is, from the matter of gender violence and its countless premises, to try to define the position adopted by women victim of aggression from their partner on the spaces, subjects and against themselves, so that it is possible to decide and/or to make considerations about the existence of acts of resistance, reproduction and/or repetition of the violence that takes them as their object by excellence. For that purpose, the Police Station for the Defense of Women in Ribeirão Preto/SP was selected as the place for execution of the analytical proposals from this research, during the period from 2007 to 2013. This study, therefore, consists of results from the application of a questionnaire to 30 battered women and to 10 civilian police officers, for whom it is guaranteed complete anonymity. As documentary sources, were used the police reports recorded by DDM Ribeirão Preto/ SP for the construction of a statistical analysis of the three most frequent offenses against women, as well as of the socioeconomic profile of 60 battered women. As for the academic approach, were prefered discussions related to culture, violence, family and, in particular, gender studies. Following that line, are highlighted in this paper authors such as Joan Scott, Michel Foucault, Bourdieu, Claudia Fonseca, Teresa de Lauretis, Heleieth IB Saffioti, Eni de Mesquita Samara, among others.

Fan identity is not a fixed construction, but a continuous process of relationship between the fan itself with his object of fannish behavior, other fans of the same object, and his only desires and aspirations. It‟s is constructed as an performance and not as an essence, being the result of all his fan practices, practices that does not happens in an social void, but inside deterritorialized communities made of people with the same fan interests. The brazilian comic fandom, that exists within a complex market, dominated by foreign productions e limited for domestic production, found in the fanzines its main media. Made, edited, published and distributed by fans themselves, fanzines was exchanged between fans in Brazil and abroad, becoming an communication network that cross thoroughly the brazilian comic book fandom. Through the fanzines the fans conducted a public debate about comic books in Brazil, it fans and their function within the fandom. Relating their subjective experiences to the discussions held, the comic fans had constructed their identities in conformity with the expectative of their fandom.

Analyzing the trajectory of life of workers searched for Arraial de Ipatinga , in the 1960 s, aiming to get a new alternative of survival, implies to deepen in a universe of information, fights and emergent contradictions of the difficulties found for them in that space. This project has as an objective to understand Ipatinga laboring class formation, as well as the undertaken work in those people routine that were expected to build their dreams from such Eldorado that did not exist, without giving a final enlightenment to all the subjects related in these pages, however. It also implies in clarifying the social issues consequences of their migration and giving visibility to the conflicts, to the emergent culture and marks left by those agents while constructing local history. The work induces to understand the power relations that had emerged from Eldorado construction, whose results in those early years were Ipatinga slaughter, in which dozens of workers had lost their lives, although the official speech informs that only seven ones had died. Considering it the biggest social conflict the marks left were registered in those people memory, it had been essential to build their society that emerged from this chaos and in this field, took place such briefing. Launching a light torch on the events constructed and reconstructed from that episode that is extend such search looking for the expectancy to infer as it gave the dispute for social control on mono-industry part, as well as the expectations run away to their clutch, through several resistance forms created by those laborers, including the politician power dispute. Moreover, the project appears in many ways, it has as main purpose to understand their geographic space as a tension place and set up visibility too many troubles caused by the actions through the time, whose contents certainly will present new challenging projects to be studied around this wide source of researches.

This study is considering to board of representation of facts occurred during the Brazilian military dictatorship, more specifically in the year of 1970, showed in the movie Pra Frente Brasil. We search in fixing them in this narrative that promoted to reread of the context politician and social Brazilian of the beginning of year 1970 and through this fílm source we try to catch and to analyze as this and other representations had operated a rescue of that historical moment at the moment of proper characteristics where they had been constructed. In such analysis to became necessary to establish a dialogue between History, Cinema and Fiction and therefore we search theoretical references in the field of the Cultural History, that considers the opening of the fan of documentary sources - as the use of artistic production - for the work of the historian. Pra Frente Brasil is a remade construction of the History that caused great controversy to the launched being, in 1982, year where the country still was governed for military. To the being forbidden for the state censorship, it got great prominence in the journalistic media and was the responsible one for the beggining of a great debate between sectors of the society regarding subjects as censorship, torture, cinema and society. Pra Frente Brasil, when represented a historical context (1970) in other (1982) particularly important to understand questions related to the military dictatorship, to became a reference mainly to think the relation between History and Fiction and between History and Cinema, question on which in we lean over them during the research that resulted in this work.

In the intersection of gestures, voices and feelings of the art crafters ladies of Uberlândia, this Master degree work analyses the meaning of experience impregnated in the know-doing of the manual work, in which it is presented a net knitted by the subjectivity and by the esthetics. Through the narratives of 16 ladies, unfolds the memories entwined of forgetting ness and reminding that color with intense and live colors the telling about learning and creation process of their handcrafted pieces. In this experience, it is presented a net knitted by the subjectivity, by the esthetics and by the constitution gestures of doing and thinking. Among with the doing and the learned and the apprehended by the sight, there are also the gestures of: doing, remembering and hands and body. The memory and the know-doing are ways followed, in this research, by these making ladies of manual objects in the search for life meaning and, by that, remean their growing old. Situated far away from the measure of time, the passing of years finds itself in the image that each person draws in the comprehension of the feeling ageing.

This work aims at approaching the historic heritage of Uberlândia, by means of the discussion of issues related to the history of buildings that compound the urban landscape. The research seeks to avoid the merely architectonic approaches and to emphasize the meanings built by the dwellers when they visualize squares gardens, monuments and streets. The proposition to be developed in this work relies on the idea that heritage is about memory and life experience of individuals who live, work and live together in the urban space. In this sense, we analyze the institutions of preservation and the different views of the Press, likes those promoted by the journals Correio de Uberlândia and Primeira Hora ; the documentation of public policies and the worker s narratives about preservation. This work permits the study of heritage from several standpoints, and it doesn t confine itself to the official sources and the ruling discourse.

As for the multiplicity of practical and revolutionary proposals that they had looked to remold aesthetic, mannering and cultural values in 1960 in the United States and that it is congregated under aegis of the "Counterculture", the movement hippie was, doubtless, the manifestation that obtained to elaborate one of the most radical and systematic critical to the occidental society and its institutions. This critical one of the occidental standards was propagated, in great measured, through the dressing composition adopted by the movement hippie, in result of this, the clothes, at a first moment, represented a code of identity of the movement and plea of the values legitimated conservatives for the occidental capitalist society. However, according to the cultural products characteristic of the movement hippie go being changed for the cultural market, they lose sensible while refuting code, a time which are entailed to an essence that before they rejected: the logic of the consumption society. Having, therefore, as control point the dressing hippie universe and leaving of a perspective that understands the clothes as a cultural product that it searches to mean the social relation, the main objective that guides the present work is the analysis of the potentiality of the fashion as language, its meaning and relevance as code of plea in the scope of the movement hippie and the examination of the process that it makes possible that, through the performance of agents (publishers, stylists, producers...) of the cultural market of the fashion, movements basically opposing convert themselves in mere arguments of consume.

This researches has as it basic proposal the reading of the theatrical text "Calabar O Elogio da Traição", woven between 1972 and 1973, by Chico Buarque and Ruy Guerra , from three points of view: the creative process, the allegoric representations of the reality and the confrontation with the Federal Censorship. This triple reading is going to establish, as the title of the work indicates, a past/ present dialogue, understanding the piece like privileged historical document. Saying the truth, this work seeks to increase, from the analysis of the creative binomial and creature, not barely more a fragment of the history of theater, but of the own national history.

I expose the specificities of the feminine world, searching the women quacks and obstetricians in Ituiutaba-MG, between 1950 and 2006. I discuss the process of individuality of these women socially configured, whose labors and arts of cure sustain traditions and customs which moves in the flexible texture social and are presented through the Social History Theory. Practical the feminine ones of cure are expressions of the popular treatment forms of the most varied evils. Thus, I elaborate an understanding of the daily one lived deeply by the women whom protect and cure, a social manifestation of the express gift in the work to bless and to be midwife.

This work has as aim the discussion about the consumer child s historical process formation. The problems resulting from this issue include a wider perception about the social relationships within a symbolic system guided by references roused by social experiences during the second half of the last century. The historical construction of the contemporary subject remits to their own childhood remeaning. This re-meaning is perceptible at the changing of the child s representation present at goods publicity designed to their use, as well as its usage in goods campaigns which are not designed to them. Through publicity, it is possible to notice these changes due to the advertisers effort in creating their campaigns having as source the social imaginary and the current representations in society. The creation of meanings, interposed by specific values on each social segment, starts, thus, to suffer a remarkable influence of an aspect which was previously restricted to commercial trades, the marketing. Publicity and commercial advertisements, which used to sell goods and/or a necessity, have acquired the status of belonging to a life style. Therefore, the consumer child is figures as a sui generis subject due to their condition of non-belonging to the world of work and, consequently, not having an income. Such paradox does not constitute a problem to the position as a consumer, because, as one, they became demanding, voracious and extremely sensitive to the seductions immanent to publicity. This significant changing ended up in re-meaning not only the childhood but also figuring it as a reference to the other phases of life.

The purpose of this essay is to reckon about this violence of a gender, particularly about the crimes of rape in the city of Uberlândia between the decades of 1940 to 1960. This argument concerns about how this theme is showing its importance on the fields of history lately. Decomposing women´s paradigm of being lower than men, providing a better view on social relationships involving them. This project began from the research of several criminal trials that had been incinerated from Abelardo Penna Forum for lack of room. They are about 20.000 trials dating from 1890 to 1984 that can be found nowadays at CDHIS (Centro de Documentação e Pesquisa em História History Center of Documentation and Research) of Uberlândia Federal University. In this documentation we found information about the social subjects involved, for instance: names, professions, education, age, ethnicity, marital status, addresses, nationality and social rates. We were also allowed to check on the victims` speeches, as well as the defendants, judges, promoters, the commission agents, doctors, lawyers and witnesses involved in such a crime, what makes the source of this essay. Realizing the great possibilities of analyses on this documentation, the field of reflection used on this research has its goal on working the speeches built by the violence of a gender in Uberlândia City. And understand how culturally such a pattern behavior of femininity and masculinity were built in the Brazilian society, having as a reference the jurisprudence of this remote time, and mainly the Civil Code from 1916 and the Criminal Code from 1940.

The proposal of this work is to analyze the Brasilian agrarian question and, more specifically, the historical trajectory of the nesting Rio das Pedras, located in the city of Uberlândia, State of Minas Gerais. The central objective of this work consists of studying the social direction and politician of the agrarian reform in the city of Uberlândia, in the Triângulo Mineiro, having, as cloth of deep, the implemented governmental measures in relation to the agrarian reform, over all, from the years of 1960, in the perspective of the social fights stopped in the field, searching to understand the historical process in the Brazilian society that allowed the maintenance of the agrarian concentration, as well as the form with that the proposals officers had been the long one of the modified years being in you strike social. The related nesting is composed for 87 families and had its officialization legalized in October of 1997, moment where the Court of Court of appeals, in Belo Horizonte, suspended the Action of Repossession effected against the current Movement Land, Work and Freedom - MTL, carried through for Josias de Freitas, proprietor of the farm, allowing the permanence of the families in the place. During the period of encampment, the workers without land had lived deeply difficulties in the internal and external scope. Passed the period of encampment, the workers had continued in a situation of difficulties, mainly, happened of the scarcity of financial resources, of the assistance inexistence compatible technique with the necessities of the seated ones and the lack of organicidade of the seated families, in way that some families if see in an entangled complex, in its situation while small inserted agricultural producer in the market relations. However, these aspects, among others, had lead to the questioning in the way as the agrarian reform is being lead in the country, as well as of its necessity and viability. The arcabouço of this work counted on a specific bibliography and different sources of research on the agrarian question in Brazil. Documentary sources proceeding from the National Institute of Colonization and the Agrarian Reform-INCRA, the Pastoral Commission of Land-CPT, the Municipal City hall of Uberlândia-PMU, the Farming Censuses of Minas Gerais, divulged for the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistic-IBGE and the Movement Land, Work and Freedom-MTL, entity that organized the occupation of the farm Rio das Pedras, together to the workers without land; beyond interviews with the seated ones, photographs, the newspaper Correio of Uberlândia and magazines. The pressuposts of the theoric-metodologics had left of diverse references, not concentrating in specific theories.

This study intend to reflect about the sociabilities s construction linked in the urban s transformations of Uberlândia s city in the Minas Gerais state, in the 1980 and 2000 period. The space reorganization become possible new forms of sociabilities, experiences and social practices that are connected with the formation of new references wich breaks and permanences are confronted. In this process, the action of going to the cinema also had significant chances in the same period. This changes was not only because the tecnology s inovation, particularly accelerated in the last decades of last century. It is not about to reduce the relevance of this aspect, however is when incorporated in a set of transformations that are perceived the habit of going to the cinema as a social practice. In this meaning that the discussion about the space of the cinema s room in Uberlândia gain dimension in the significant lócus of sociabilities s construction. The activities of social interaction in the city didin t restrict, exclusivement, the cinema s room. Bars, restaurants, clubs, churches, squares. And others, also were and are related as the construction s sociabilities s space. Privilege and to become a problem the sociabilities s construction related to the action of going to the cinema are caused by the destruction of a space established and the construction and the deslocation for a new local according to considerated modern standards. According to the study, is perceived the bankruptcy process of the large central rooms, the interaction with the rooms in the shopping-center that end up with the extinction of the firsts by the enlargement of the seconds. This space become not only a place where people live together but as a reference point to the citizens.

This research problematizes the social experiences lived by workers in the District of Tapuirama, Uberlândia-MG. I analyze the life of people arriving from Jacobina-BA to work in the activity of extraction of resins in these municipal district. Those workers started arriving at Tapuirama in 1993 and ever since they started to compose the city through his/her culture, of their attitudes and of their values. I investigate the ways as if they relate with the one of the place , they institute coexistence and work relationships and they rebuild values and expectations and they struggle for the right of possessing. It is important to investigate the way they see each other in the social relationships, taking their social practices inserted in a larger social dynamics, without losing from sight the social tensions, the relationships of power experienced, problematizing the ways they have being elaborated memories in the living historical process. In that sense, I hope to understand as the District is noticed by antagonistic social subjects: for outside workers and local workers , for the newspapers, for the Municipal City hall of Uberlândia and for memorialist. I use as research sources the oral narratives; the press, in that I prioritize the analysis of the newspapers Correio and Primeira Hora; pictures produced by me as for the own workers; memorialists texts; minutes of the Association of Residents of Tapuirama; documents produced by the Municipal City hall of Uberlândia and maps.
