The balanced scorecard (BSC) has enabled positive results for organizations, as it reveals a tool that assists in managing the strategies and identifies the performance indicators that measure the achievement of goals. Seeking to extend the knowledge on the subject was prepared initially a literature search on the key concepts of the BSC. As a result, we developed a case study aimed to analyze the results obtained in the implementation of the BSC in a family business in the service sector company named ALFA here. The data collection instrument used was a semi-structured interview guide, and the data collected were analyzed using the technique of content analysis. The results obtained from the case study show that the BSC has brought benefits to the company's management as improved internal processes, human capital investment and a clear and comprehensive overview of the strategic objectives with goal setting focused on strategy. With content analysis we identified seven main categories: Determinants for the Implementation of the BSC ALFA; Family of Culture ALFA Influencing the Implementation of BSC, BSC and Strategy Implementation in ALFA; BSC Changing and Improving Management in ALFA, Problems in the implementation of the BSC ALFA; Learning from the implementation of the BSC ALFA and Certainties and Doubts About the implementation of BSC in ALFA, that illustrates the results of the research. The main findings of the research were: the company is actually getting tangible benefits with the implementation of the BSC and its managers achieved an excellent tool to assist them in managing the company. It is understood that the results of the research can be applied directly to other companies such as ALFA family nature, or even for small or medium sized businesses that are planning to deploy the BSC.

This study aimed to describe and analyze the experiences of physical education teachers on the inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in state schools in São Paulo, the eastern region. The field research was conducted specifically in the eastern region of São Paulo, and involved ten teachers. It adopted a qualitative and quantitative approach, carried out by the teacher's profile survey and semi-structured interviews. After the interviews were categorized and discussion of the collected data. The results showed the great difficulty that professionals have towards work with ASD student, is the lack of information, training, lack of support from school management and multidisciplinary discussion that directly affects the student - all these factors have been identified as hindering the teaching and learning. It was observed that there is exchange of experience between school staff and management team, and so there is no proper and adequate planning for students with ASD. The physical education professional, therefore, is no educational subsidies for the realization of their practice. The items that deserve attention by the Department of Education, Education Boards and schools and pointed in this research are significant for the abolition of existing attitudinal barriers between learning and teaching quality.

The present thesis aims to analyze the relation between Charlotte Brontë¿s novel Jane Eyre (1847) and Robert Stevenson¿s and Cary Joji Fukunaga¿s film adaptations of the novel, the former released in 1943 and, the latter, in 2011. Basing our analysis on Robert Stam¿s (2008) and Linda Hutcheon's (2006) studies on adaptations of literary texts to other media, the focus of this study is the observation of the adaptive mechanisms used to transpose the Victorian romance to the cinema in two different centuries. Adapting a text implies making choices and changes, which gives an individual character to the story told by the film. Therefore, we will analyze in the narrative elements that characterize the Bilgundsroman in the path of the protagonist Jane and the gothic characteristics, within the cinematographic texts, considering the different contexts and meanings attributed by each production when where elaborated their plots

By means of a scientific research (the results of which are recorded in the present text), the author tried to analyze enunciates extracted from the romantic novel Viagens na minha Terra, written by the Portuguese Almeida Garrett. The author aimed to understand the factors of the expressive linguistic use made by this artist, use wich is sense effects producer and use wich is a reflection of romantic ideology preponderant in the first half of the 19th century, ideology on which the Garrett s personality is sedimented. Besides, considering the Stylistic as the science that studies the style and considering style as the manifestation on the linguistic constructions of the writer s personality the author arrived at the conclusion that the notoriety given to the cited romantic novel is due to the stylistic perfection of the Garrett s writing, artist that transmits, by means of his enunciates, information the content of which is not completely contained in the semantic load that exist either in the words, or in the sentences, or in the full text, but rather information the content of which is also contained in the sense effects produced by stylistic facts.

Ant colonies can be considered a multi-agent system, where each agent (ant) works independently by simple rules. Algorithms based on the behavior of ant colonies have been used to solve optimization problems, because in the search for food ants tend to create the shortest (optimum) path between the nest and the food source. In this work, ant inspired algorithms are used in the optimization of the topology of electric energy distribution networks. The algorithm performance is investigated in function of its parameter values. Experiments in hypothetical and actual distribution systems are performed.

In the current competitive world, organizational change plays a relevant role in the sustainable survival of organizations. The Social Sciences literature analyses the various factors that influence organizational change, which involves people, structures, strategies, processes and timing. Among these factors, organizational values are principles and beliefs, hierarchically organized according to desirable organizational behaviors and goals. This work pretends identify the predictive power of organizational values for understanding change within organizations. A descriptive, transversal, quantitative research was done with 183 employees of one organization in the Brazilian food industry, represented in many states of the country. The organization had been through a top-down and planned organizational change. Interviewees were asked to fill a questionnaire divided in four parts organizational values; attitudes facing change; perception of individual change; and perception of organizational change. The data was treated with descriptive and inferential analysis. The results show that the value Autonomy is a relevant predictor for all the factors of organizational change. The same result was obtained for the attitude Acceptance and Fear of change. The data also show that, when organizational values and attitudes are taken as a single statistic variable, the perceived factors of organizational change Pursuit of Results, Technical Competence and Welfare are explained by the organizational value Autonomy; the factors Horizontality, Participation and External Image are explained by the attitude Acceptance.

This dissertation aims to address the major political reforms that are discussed in the National Congress, bringing notes also the importance of political parties in order to have a more effective and participatory democracy. Numerous extremely important institutes and relating to electoral matters will be handled properly, it can be mentioned the recall Institute (elective office revocation), public financing of election campaigns, reducing party fragmentation among other institutes. An in-depth historical study was conducted regarding the Political Parties, checking their progress, as well as some important tools for full democracy, such as the vote, the referendum and the referendum. Furthermore, we must inform you that there are extremely important institutes that aim to deal with electoral issues, specifically about the possibility of submission of the Chief Executive (President), in the commission of crime hypothesis responsibility (impeachment) process and trial by the Senate and the consequent imposition of removal from office of sanction. There was also concern in demonstrating that existing political and electoral systems, bring the background of some philosophical ideas defended in a democratic state of law, and dealing with some extremely important institutes to have compliance with rules relating to compliance with the rights and guarantees fundamental.

This study aims to understand and evaluate the intellectual and graphical production that is illustrated in the Hoods Zupi Design Magazine in its contemporary (2006-2010). To analyze its significance and representativeness as a contemporary artistic production deals with such issues as the object of analysis: theme to be historicized and treating them as a source, which subsidizes research through the supporting documentation provided by them. Some questions, coming from our professional activities with students of first semesters of undergraduate course in Advertising search for answers through questionnaires to investigate whether the journal might be used as a strategy for teaching and learning in the classroom. Using issues of the journal as a motivating material, were performed analyzes and interpretations with three groups of discipline Drawing I. The study of Zupi Design Magazine within a relatively short period of existence has privileged themes as: points of convergence between the editorial project and artistic achievements, the coherence between the covers of graphic expression and the speech presented by its authors and the receipt of the journal for their readership. Our theoretical framework is provided by means of dialogue between scholars of Cultural History, which supports us. The preparation of tables allowed a detailed survey of the aspects to which we propose to study: the use of the magazine as a strategic support in Drawing course in Advertising.

The decision of sharing services is adopted by companies to improve organizational management, since all organizational areas need resources and capabilities to provide their operations. By utilizing more efficient resources and capabilities, you can potentially achieve more qualified results and better operational performance. With a feature of support services to other areas of the company, the Shared Services Centers, called SSC, is equipped with resources and capabilities that can provide differentiation for companies regarding support structures and systems. Thus, the objective of this research was to understand the role of resources and capabilities of a CSC for generating operational performance in internal organizational areas. Shared Service Centers are administrative arrangements that have been adopted by large companies to achieve superior performance with cost savings and service enhancements. It was found, as a result of the research, that the SSC-based organizational structure, using resources and capabilities, generates value for internal customers and for the company studied. Another aspect that should be considered is that SSC, by providing support structures and systems, enables internal clients to focus on their specific activities. Thus, to achieve the objective proposed in this work, a mixed research method was used, with a qualitative primary phase, aiming to identify the resources and capabilities of the researched company's SSC, according to the main managers of this organizational structure. In the second, quantitative step, a questionnaire was applied to the SSC internal customers of the researched company to assess how much such resources and capabilities contribute to operational performance.
