O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objeto de estudo o livro “Dom Casmurro”, de Machado de Assis. Devido à intrinsecidade entre autor, obra e contexto histórico, será feita uma análise acerca da influência do cenário político-social da época, bem como dos elementos jurídicos utilizados propositalmente pelo autor para dar aos escritos conotações mais aprofundadas do que as percebidas à primeira vista. A partir deste enfoque, será delineada a importância de um estudo conjunto entre direito e literatura para uma melhor compreensão de obras literárias como a apresentada e para a expansão do potencial das ciências jurídicas, evidenciado através dos discursos de persuasão e convencimento utilizados pelo protagonista da obra.

This thesis has the objective to characterize the specifics contents of the Organizational Learning field, Knowledge Management and Learning Organization in terms of their inter-relationships and its boundaries, as well as identifying research fronts that have the potential to excel in these fields. Therefore, was developed a exploratory and longitudinal methodological method which were based on social networks analysis and more specifically, the semantic networks. 10.480 articles from the Web of Science data base were used for the analysis. The results show possible contributions in two main areas. The first one refers to the methodology, once the semantic networks analysis allow the comprehension of the structures and contents of scientific articles, having as main attribute the scalability, extension and potential to achieve temporal inference. The second contribution is theoretical, since the assessment of the data signalizes research fronts that potentially can stand out in the Organizational Learning, Knowledge Management and Learning Organization areas. The research outcome orientates to the development of dynamic theories which, in opposition of the static models, traditionally established, enable explain the inter-relationships between areas without obliterate the temporal dimension.

The 2002 Master Plan in São Paulo establishes guidelines for the fair and effective use and occupation of land, applying instruments that allow new urban intervention. It grants additional rights to the legislation of municipal zoning with issuance of onerous concession or the auction of Certificates of Special Urban Zoning, traded at Stock Exchange. This generates off taxes revenues with the participation of private initiative, motivated by an dynamic real estate market. These off taxes revenues are important to supplement the budgetary resources that have been insufficient to meet the population needs, which have no financial capacity to accept any increase in compulsory taxation. This thesis introduces strategies to consolidate and overcome the actual constraints, enhancing this process in urban benefit that comprises: infrastructure, environmental preservation and quality of life, as it was achieved in other important city, such Vancouver, Canada.

Information is an asset of great value in the capital market, as so it must be regulated for the purpose of promoting the market s credibility and guaranteeing the investor s trust. Therefore, this research was conceived with the objective of studying the juridical regimen of the information in the stock market, being the subject analyzed from a double perspective: the right of the shareholder s to the information and, especially, the right of the market to the information. Related to this latter aspect, the adoption of the full and fair disclosure principle, that consists in the wide and honest revelation of information, as the market regulation philosophy, in the United States and in the whole world, must me examined. Moreover, regarding to the theme, it is necessary to consider the repression to the insider trading and the manipulation of the market as a consequence of the disclosure system. At last, it is important to detach the new instruments of information control, mainly those related to corporate governance and the new rules imposed by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

This thesis has as main objective to study the economic impact of football in the international scenario, mainly through the World Cup. This research focuses on the economic and political acting of FIFA, since its origins to the present. The study covers its juridical legality, its performance in the context of international governance and the financial movement that football brings within various sectors of the world economy. Finishing with the impact that the organization of the World Cup causes as much on the infrastructure, tourist movement and marginal growth of the GDP in the last two host countries, South Africa and Brazil, as the expectations for Russia tournament. The study also observes the question of FIFA's earning of revenue over the last fifteen years and how the rules of affiliation of new countries are influenced by nationalism and the geopolitical consequences of joining FIFA.

This research had as its purpose an investigation of the attitudes that facilitated and hindered the social relations of the deaf people during their adolescence and, looking for analyzed the deposition of these individuals. The theoretical foundation follows authors who considers deafness a difference, no a deficiency, and authors who characterize the adolescence from the point of view in the focus of evolutive psychology. The research was qualitative, using and adopted a questioner with open questions as instrument to collection of the data. The analysis provided evidenced that family participation contributed for the development of these deaf individuals, even when not making use of sign language to communicate with them and when ignoring the importance of the sign language for the development of a deaf person. Verbal communication, however, was cited as one of the biggest difficulties faced by these individual, as much in the home environment, as in school environment, as well as in the other places they frequent. The difficulty of establishing friendship bonds with non deaf adolescent was also noted. In spite of all subjects knowing and using brazilian sign language in some communities, all the subjects of this research emphasized that they could communicate orally in other communities showing the possibilities of enrichment of their lives by various means of communication.

Considering the games eficiency for learning business this research proposes the development of a simulation game as an education tool for sales executives on financial techniques to sell. These techniques helps to maximize solution value by differentiating the way sales are performed. Initially a literature review has been held on the corporate universities evolution, epistemological and business games, adaptability and business financial structure. Then the SGDD (Serious Game Development Document) has been elaborated and the artificial intelligence technics required for the development of the game PHABRIKA have been defined. Developed in Game Maker Studio, the game is made up of two levels: on the first level the player learns about game dynamics, and on the second level the player is challenged to a series of strategic decisions-making into a competitive market environment. Finally, an observation session with sales executives (of electronic components for industry segment) has been held to validate the education of financial techniques to sell methodology through usage of the game PHABRIKA. Using observation session prior and subsequent questionnaires it was possible to compare participants' knowledge evolution and conclude that the game PHABRIKA is effective as education tool on financial techniques to sell.

This study presents some possible solutions to the urban solid waste destination. The challenge for the some possible candidates for urban solid waste destinations. The challenge for solid waste management is first to reduce the quantity of solid waste generated, and to make viable the recycling process, and subsequently to establish a proposal for avoiding the disposal of solid waste without any treatment. In order to understand such solutions, an example of the community of Indaia, located in the city of Bertioga on the Atlantic coast of São Paulo State, Brazil, is examined. After an analysis of the waste management system in operation in Riviera de São Lourenço in the neighboring district, it was proposed that this same solution should be applied to the Indaia area. This paper discusses the difficulty of managing the increased volume of solid waste, due to urban environmental problems caused by pollution. Specifically, the inadequate disposal of waste may cause serious problems to the urban environment. Discussed are the difficulties for the management of solid waste increases caused by urban expansion directly proportional to pollution growth. There is a necessity for an aggregate waste destination or recycling processes. The objective of this thesis is to detail the organization of waste management to be applied in the Indaia area, and to propose a reduction in M.S.W. (Municipal Solid Waste) production, and an increase in the recycling process due to waste management and a proper waste destination. By means ofthis study and understanding of the operational process of solid waste management and the sources of waste. Specifically, the analysis of when the waste is produced, through suitable separation (done by the population, or by specialized enterprises), on to packing and transport to get to the waste sorting station, and its final disposition, which finalizes the process and the possible recycling of solid waste. The advantages and disadvantages are presented as the result of the usage of S.W.M. (Solid Waste Management), its different process and its difficulties for implementation in the urban area, thus increasing the routine of recycling materials from communal rubbish. The possibility of making this effective and of practicing the proposed organization and management as in the mentioned example is also discussed. The advantage of the practice of a suitable process is to increase the reuse of materials that were previously part of an improper waste management scheme. The disadvantage of this process is the difficulty in organizing the neighbourhood or city involved, so that the process supports itself, since it comprises various segments, from the individual citizen to public and private enterprises and labor unions.The conclusion is that solid waste management, with health, public services attendance and urban services, such as waste collecting systems, waste reutilization, health system attendance and a separated collecting systems for dangerous materials, is extremely necessary in order to maintain the quality of life in the community. In order to gain an understanding of this process, we may consider that soil contamination, and also air and water contamination, causes a negative environmental impact in a very high degree, and that urban areas need a strict solid waste management system, as mentioned in Law 12.305/10.The main laws in force (working laws), in the state and the municipality, that stimulate the improvement of the system, by means of a participative management, in other words: the population needs to participate, being aware of the problems and the solutions given to the issue.It is enhanced that solid waste management is a fundamental factor for the health of the environment.

esse artigo trata sobre a temática do compliance no âmbito do setor privado e do setor público, considerando a realidade atual brasileira. Muitos dos institutos brasileiros de combate à corrupção foram inspirados em países mais desenvolvidos no tema, como os Estados Unidos e o Reino Unido. O presente trabalho procura problematizar as semelhanças e diferenças de um sistema de integridade no setor privado e público, identificando suas influências, bem como as dificuldades enfrentadas em cada setor, tendo em vista os critérios de efetividade do programa de compliance aplicado a distintas realidades. Espera-se contribuir com a reflexão do tema a partir de sugestões para tornar o sistema de compliance de fato eficaz, utilizando-se de instrumentos como o performance bond e a figura do whistleblower, bem como de recursos tecnológicos a exemplo da tecnologia blockchain e dos smart contracts.

This dissertation aims to present a proposal to minimize the problems caused by the solid wastegenerationin the construction industry, one of the most significant segments in the economic and social landscape, but also theenvironment degradation, based on the practice of industrial symbiosis. For this, environmental concerns and waste problemswere presented in order to know the current scenario. The analysis was preceded by a survey on solid waste and specifically the construction waste, the focus of this work, entering within the economic, social and environmental impacts of their generation, followingthe study of theeconomic lawand the solid waste legislation and the legislation applied to the construction industry waste to achieve an alternative to reduce environmental impacts, through the application of the institute of industrial ecology and industrial symbiosis process, using as foundation international and national experiences. Finally the conclusion isthe feasibility of industrial symbiosis as a tool for management to the constructionwaste and implementation of the economic law of waste, since practiced in a structured manner, with the involvement of all thestakeholders (government agencies, private institutions, universities and NGOs), optimizing the economic,social and environmental gains.
