High cadence solar observations in infrared and H-α are important tools for the study of active regions during solar flaring events. The acquisition and analysis of these observational data associated with information in other frequency bands, can be helpful in the study of emission mechanisms during solar flares. Recently it was installed at the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, São Paulo, the Mackenzie Solar Observatory, with the objective to provide research opportunities in Solar Physics. Experimental tests carried out in the Observatory should provide advances in instrumentation, assembly and procedures to be implemented and operated in collaboration with others observatories, for solar observations from ground and space. In this work, the physical structure of the Solar Observatory Mackenzie is described in details.Operating procedures of instruments and data acquisition are proposed, as well as the systematization of simultaneous observations at infrared and H-α. Despite the short time of operation, records of some solar events have already been obtained.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between ethics and contract, leaving the two hegemonic paradigms of legal knowledge, the natural law and legal positivism, concluding with a critical analysis of the possible existence of a contractual justice in the context of a positivised legal system, albeit with new paradigms supporters. Whereas the concept of law and morality varies according to the historical moment, the economic and social context, the approach regarding the contractual justice will be done taking into consideration the moral and legal thought prevailing in each period, taking as march time the dominant thought in modernity, especially from the eighteenth century.

It is understood that financial decisions, from the simplest to the most complex, are always present in people´s lives. In this sense, we can highlight the importance of foundations on the several resources used in purchasing, negotiation, applications, and other actions that require a minimum of financial insight. This set of knowledge is called financial education. Thus, this study aims to measure and determine the level of financial literacy of teachers in municipal primary and middle schools of Sorocaba, in its three dimensions (knowledge, behavior and attitude), with the use of studies about the extent of research on the theme, their metrics and their approaches. It highlights the importance of financial education during a person´s childhood and adolescence, and the formation of habits and principles as well, reinforcing the fact that one well informed educator can significantly contribute to future financial decisions of those individuals. A survey instrument, divided in three parts, was used for data collection. The first part was composed of demographic data about the teachers and their professional performance. The proposed scale for this part was categorical or metric (age and experience). The second part consisted of questions related to three dimensions: knowledge, behavior and attitude. These analyzed dimensions were proposed by Potrich et al (2015). The indicators (variables) of each dimension were adapted from Potrich’s instrument, and inspired by an OECD proposed survey for detecting levels of financial literacy as well. The third part of the questionnaire was based on S&P Klapper, Lusardi and Oudheesden (2014), when the teachers evaluated some investment-related situations and the value of money across the time. The proposed scale for this part of the questionnaire was nominal, being that each alternative showed a different behavior. Some of the factor analysis showed inconsistencies in the proposed dimensions. These proposed dimensions were stratified in three categories of clusters for each dimension, i.e. low, medium and high financial literacy. This study shows how that theme has been developed in the world and also in Brazil, as it turns evident that as far as there is a reduction of the barrier for financial inclusion, an awareness on the subject can be generated. Conclusions drawn from this work build an expectation to contribute to the evolution of the practice of financial education among the teachers of primary and secondary schools.

This study approaches the process of urban and architectural preservation instituted in Sao Joao del Rei, the resolutions and the extend of the acts of protection at municipal, state and federal levels, as well as the population`s attitudes with the heritage in a setting of urban transformations and quest for economic progress The conflict between the federal preservations laws and local interests will be analyzed, involving the commercial agents and the technicians of the Institute of National Historical and Artistic Heritage. Nowadays, this thematic sets up a transient scenario, marked initially by neglect of people with the patrimony, then by the appreciation of the collective memory and, recently, by the possibility of association with the economic development.

This dissertation presents the technology within BIM and its implication in the architectural and engineering design process. Since the 60 s, aerospace and automotive industries have already revolutionized the way of project with the CAD, and manufacture with the assembly lines. In AEC, the CAD became BIM, a new way of project, build and manage, from conception till life cycle building. This brought a project and construction time reduction, cost and environmental impacts decrease foreseen in LEED and merged in BIM.

O presente trabalho visa analisar a possibilidade da extensão objetiva da cláusula compromissória em contratos coligados, desenvolvendo, em conjunto, o princípio da autonomia da vontade das partes e a necessidade de consenso entre elas a fim de afastar a competência do Poder Judiciário para resolução dos conflitos. Uma das premissas básicas de que parte o estudo em tela está no fato de que a arbitragem, enquanto método de resolução de conflitos, depende, principalmente, da vontade das partes manifestada expressamente no bojo do negócio jurídico firmado entre elas. Nesse ínterim, serão analisados, também, o conceito de coligação contratual, suas consequências jurídicas para o tema apresentado e a questão da arbitrabilidade. A importância do presente trabalho decorre do fato de que a arbitragem está cada vez mais consolidada no Brasil, tendo as pessoas procurado cada vez mais por esse método de resolução de conflitos. Com isso, houve o aumento de participantes e da complexidade das questões discutidas, especialmente no que diz respeito às arbitragens que envolvam diversos contratos, tendo em vista que nem sempre um único contrato é o que basta para regular todas as relações existentes.

The present work reflects on the evangelistic proposals of the Apostle Paul, trying to analyze how these initiatives can apply the contingencies of contemporaneity. This analysis of the missions in the book of Acts of the Apostles underscored the role of the greatest New Testament missionary, namely the Apostle Paul. It has its relevance in the society in which it lives, exercising its protagonism for what it has been called, fulfilling its missionary mandate through its missionary trips, which were essential for the expansion of the Gospel in the beginning of the Primitive Church. As a central problem, the following question was raised: What is the Pauline contribution in Acts through his evangelistic actions, to the construction of a missiological consciousness in Christendom? The purpose of the work is to analyze what evangelistic actions used by Paul can still be used today by Christendom in its Good News announcing mission. The research qualifies, methodologically, as a bibliographical survey through the consultation of several bibliographical sources besides the Holy Bible itself. The research contextualizes itself as contribution and incentive for other works on the subject, as well as, it serves as contribution to the academic community. In view of the researcher's proposal, the work indicates that the Pauline evangelistic actions can be used as a basis for the current mission of the church, serving as a theological foundation and missionary motivation. Um aspecto que durante anos me inquieta, e me levou a estudá-lo mais a fundo durante meu TFG foi a pouca relevância que o patrimônio industrial possui na maior metrópole brasileira. As arquiteturas patrimoniais de uma maneira geral não possuem o rigor de preservação que merecem, contudo as mais notáveis da capital paulista - e aqui cito algumas: Catedral da Sé, Mercado Municipal, Museu do Ipiranga, Estação da Luz, Pinacoteca, Teatro Municipal, etc - fazem uso de uma cota no orçamento municipal destinado à elaboração de trabalhos de restauro e manutenção. Estão sempre presente em roteiros sobre a história de São Paulo e eventos culturais, além de serem apreciados e respeitados pela maioria da população que os conhecem. Isso posto, me questiono porque o mesmo não se pode dizer do remanescente patrimônio industrial da metrópole paulista. O pouco que ainda resta - pois muitos sítios industriais acabaram sendo reduzidos a cinzas pelos tratores do mercado imobiliário - encontra-se em lastimável estado de conservação, em sua maioria abandonados e jogados à mercê de vândalos e da ação do tempo. Localizados principalmente nos antigos bairros operários da Mooca, Brás, Belém, Barra Funda e Pompéia, esses remanescentes a partir da década de 1960 passam a sofrer com o esvaziamento e decadência das atividades fabris devido à transferência de suas sedes para regiões periféricas da cidade. De lá para cá, poucos investimentos foram destinados para obras de conservação e restauro desses bens e a proteção de alguns exemplares somente ocorreu depois de reivindicações de grupos de moradores e defensores da causa que conseguiram que o processo de tombamento² de alguns conjuntos avançassem. Muitos remanescentes foram assegurados por órgãos de preservação nas instâncias municipal e estadual. Isso representou uma vitória para a sociedade, pois de alguma forma esses testemunhos tão relevantes no processo de industrialização - que culminaram no grande desenvolvimento econômico da cidade de São Paulo - não poderão ser demolidos. Sem o crescimento proporcionado pela atividade industrial, o maior centro financeiro da América Latina talvez não tivesse atingido tal nível de importância.

The present dissertation has as a theme the criminal protection of the minority and of the vulnerable groups. The study initiates with the conceptualization of the term minority and its distinction related to the vulnerable groups, having as foundation the international treaties and the study conducted by United Nations. Thereafter, it accomplish the criminal protection analyses conferred to the minority and vulnerable groups, either in the international plan defining the international crimes, just like the duty assumed by the Brazilian State in criminalize the conduct of violation to the human rights of the minority , or in the intern plan, describing the legal instruments that secure many kind of groups. Finally, assayed the foundation of the criminal protection in the dogmatic and criminological aspects, to conclude about its relative aptitude in accomplish the minority rights.

This is a descriptive study to verify if the strategic alliances generate sustainable competitive advantages in the sector of the civil construction, more specifically in the real estate companies and builders of residential property. To do this study, it was necessary to review the literature about the variable of the subject, and to develop the research in field by an application of quantitative approach utilizing a questionnaire for the information gathered on site. The sample was chosen by convenience consisting of 25 answers sheet sent by the executives of companies located within the metropolitan region of the city of São Paulo - SP, Brazil. The data collected were treated statistically by the model of the Exact Test of Fisher, for verifying the relationships between the variables of the problem: sustainable competitive advantages and strategic alliances. The objectives of this study, general, and specific, were achieved and was noted: that the companies researched indicated that they have made strategic alliances; that these strategic alliances were formally agreed with an apparent integration of activities between the partners; that the motivations and reasons of the companies researched, to have done the strategic alliances, are related by resources and complementary capacities; and that the sustainable competitive advantages achieved by the companies research should be related mainly with strategies for leadership of cost, for differentiation of products, and in the focus in market segments and product lines. The statistical analysis indicates a significant relationship between sustainable competitive advantages and strategic alliances. From an academic perspective, the study has its limitations of methodological and theoretical order and the results apply only to the company s components of the sample, and not with generalization or comparing to another company.
