Covid-19 and aging: the impacts on the elderly population in times of pandemic
The covid-19 pandemic, is a respiratory disease transmitted through a somewhat unknown virus, which caused several impacts on daily life, especially the elderly population, which is considered a risk group, with preventive measures for transmission, for example, social distancing, resulting in loneliness and sadness, thus bringing depression and other impacts. According to the WHO, the elderly population is more vulnerable to this virus, especially those with chronic diseases. This study seeks to identify the greatest impacts caused by COVID-19 on the elderly in times of pandemic, its symptoms and forms of transmission and prevention. An integrative reading review was carried out. The libraries used for the search were: the Virtual Health Library (VHL), through the Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (Lilacs) database; the Scientific Electronic Library Online (ScIELO). Next, articles written in Portuguese, published between 2016 and 2021, available in full and free of charge, were selected. In view of this, the greatest consequences caused by COVID-19 to the elderly in times of pandemic are in mental health, well-being, and Thus, supportive measures are needed for the elderly population in times of pandemic.

The importance of biosafety in a pandemic context
On March 12, 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the new pandemic that affected the entire world and was currently inserted in Brazil. Thus, already called “New Coronavirus”, the infection of COVI-19, which has a high rate of transmission, which worries the authorities. And, over time, the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19 has mutated, expanding and infecting the population. In this sense, the research objective arises: To qualify the importance of biosafety in a pandemic scenario. The methodology used was bibliographic. A bibliographic search on the topic was carried out, using the online databases Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), National Library on Health (BVS) and Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences (LILACS). Regarding the expected results, it is clear that studies on the importance of biosafety have strengthened protocols between different areas of professional activity and contributed to the control of sanitary measures in the scenario of the COVD-19 pandemic.

Benefits of statin use for cardiovascular disease prevention
The objective of this review was to elucidate the importance of the use of statins in patients with risk factors for the development of cardiovascular diseases. This is an integrative literature review, based on a survey of articles in Scielo and VHL portal, using the databases Analysis of Medical Literature (Medline) and Latin American Literature on Health Sciences (Lilacs). The search will be limited to case series, retrospective and prospective cohort studies, and case-control studies that correlate the benefits of statins in preventing cardiovascular disease. In addition, it will also be limited to studies in human subjects, written in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and published within the last 10 years. The benefit of statins has been proven in secondary prevention of CVD, helping to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke, but the effect in primary prevention is still much debated and has been the subject of several studies. The evidence obtained in this research shows that statins cause a decrease in mortality, proving that the cardiovascular protection provided by statins overlaps with the existence of adverse effects.

Rastreio de câncer de colo de útero: Brasil, Estados Unidos e Reino Unido: Um comparativo nos critérios de indicações
Cervical cancer has a high incidence among women, with persistent human papillomavirus (HPV) infection as its main cause. Different factors may influence the incidence and mortality rates of this pathology, and cervical cancer benefits from early diagnosis, reflecting the prognosis. The present study consists of a bibliographic review with comparative method using updated cervical cancer screening guidelines and epidemiological data published between 2009 and 2019 obtained through the Mortality Atlas of the National Cancer Institute (INCA) for Brazil, the 2019 report of the American Cancer Society for the United States and the Global Cancer Observatory of the World Health Organization (WHO) for the United Kingdom. The article aims to compare screening protocols used in Brazil, United States and United Kingdom, indicating the divergences and agreements of the criteria covered. These include: predominant screening pattern, age of onset and age of completion, frequency, and types of examinationperformed. As results, the main divergences found are in the predominant pattern of screening (opportunistic and active search), in the types of examination included in each program and in the specificities of the frequencies indicated. The different socioeconomic and health services realities of the countries analyzed may justify the construction and dichotomous applicability of the guidelines for their respective realities. The findings of this study affirm the importance of cancer screening programs in the early identification of this disease, although they are not the only factor responsible for changing incidence and mortality patterns.

Impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of life and mental health of the elderly
In December 2019, the increase in the number of cases of respiratory syndromes in Wuhan, (China), alarmed a local doctor about the symptoms that started as those of a simple flu and quickly evolved to severe pneumonia and death. In March 2020, a new virus pandemic (SARS-CoV-2) broke out, and measures to control the spread of the infection needed to be instituted around the world, such as wearing masks, frequent hand hygiene with soap and water, 70% alcohol use and the distance and social isolation. The latter has consequences for the mental health of the population already weakened by the moment experienced, with the elderly being more impacted by the distance and isolation, becoming more vulnerable to the development of mental disorders. The objective of this study was to assess the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of life and mental health of the elderly, with aggravating factors being social isolation and changes in routine. A bibliographic search was carried out in four databases in the months of January and February 2021, and 20 articles were analyzed. Analysis of the literature has shown that: SARS-CoV-2 can invade the central nervous system causing behavioral damage; the distance and social isolation drastically affected the lifestyle of the elderly; the general population has reinvented themselves to minimize the effects of distance and social isolation, allowing some interaction between individuals, relevant to the maintenance of mental health, especially of the elderly.

The inclusion of digital information and communication technologies in teaching practice
Digital Information Technologies - TDIC are considered a unique tool in the entire learning process, having their effects proven since Basic Education and even in Higher Education, including Postgraduate courses. Thus, it is necessary to look into the pedagogical context that already exists at the university, in addition to pointing out strategic solutions for the implementation of new technological systems. In this sense, the relevance of this work is justified, which has as its general objective to perform an analysis on the application of TDIC within the Licentiate Degree in Pedagogy at UniFIC, campus Iguatu. As specific objectives, it seeks to describe the pedagogical context of the Licentiate Degree in Pedagogy on the use of digital information and communication technologies in the organization, systematization and development of classes and foster dialogue between digital technologies and teaching pedagogical practice. The methodology used to address the subject was a qualitative and quantitative study, descriptive and exploratory, using Gil (2010) and his definition of documentary research as a reference. It is concluded, therefore, that the inclusion of digital information and communication technologies came to help teachers in their pedagogical practices, but they are only favorable if teachers are willing to be more and more dynamic, as it is no use being connected if there is no relationship, engagement between professors and students.

Knowledge in Medical Genetics for the action of medical graduates in Primary Health Care
Medical Genetics (GM) plays an important role in public policies for the prevention, control and treatment of diseases. The establishment of a minimum GM curriculum by the Brazilian Society of Medical Genetics and Genomics (SBGM) was a milestone for medical training. The present study aimed to list the main knowledge, skills and attitudes in GM that medical graduates must have for the correct management of patients in Primary Health Care. Fourteen studies were used on the teaching of GM in medical courses, published in Portuguese, English and Spanish between 2010 and 2020, excluding studies developed within the scope of medical residency and with other professionals. The profile of minimum competences in GM includes: identification of the most frequent genetic conditions; adequate communication of these conditions to families, helping decision-making; correct clinical management in accordance with current guidelines; and knowing when to refer the patient and family to the geneticist physician and for psychological and social support. Anamnesis, physical examination, with special attention to anthropometry and dysmorphology, and collection of family history with construction of a pedigree with at least three generations are basic skills required of the graduate. It is suggested that medical schools can insert and/or adapt the profile proposed by the SBGM to improve medical training. The minimal knowledge of GM, new screening methods and referral protocols by the egress promotes a better flow of patients through the Unified Health System, mitigating the suffering of patients and families.

Nursing action in the context of schistosomiasis
In Brazil, schistosomiasis is caused by the helminth Schistosoma mansoni, being directly associated with poverty and inadequate living conditions, representing a serious public health problem in the country, where it is a compulsory notification disease. This study aimed to understand the nursing actions in the care of patients with schistosomiasis mansoni that, due to the different clinical manifestations during its evolution, may present difficulties in its diagnosis because it resembles many other diseases, which may delay its notification and treatment. To this end, a literature search was conducted in the MEDLINE, LILACS, CINAHL, BDENF, SciELO e Google Scholar databases: 41 articles were found, and 27 studies were selected to compose this review. In Brazil, among the activities carried out by professional nurses, especially in Primary Health Care, home visits stand out, an important strategy for evaluating and monitoring the socioeconomic, cultural and environmental conditions of the place where they work, with the home space being a place conducive to promoting reflection on the relationships between users/workers of intra-household health. Thus, through warnings about the need for investment in basic and environmental sanitation, in addition to health education actions, nurses can contribute to improving the quality of life of the less favored populations affected by this parasitosis.

Preconception nursing care for women with diabetes mellitus in primary care
In order for a woman with diabetes to experience a quiet pregnancy, it is necessary to have family planning that will leave her in a better position to develop. Family planning is the ideal opportunity for this preparation, as long as it is done properly. For this, the nurse must be present in the daily life of the woman with diabetes who plans to become pregnant, promoting a complete care. Considering the above, this study aims to know the role of nurses in the preconceptional care of women with diabetes mellitus in primary health care. This is a descriptive study with quantitative analysis developed in the Network of Primary Health Care of the city of Iguatu, located in the South of Ceará, with participants as nurses working in the urban area of the municipality. The data collection technique used was the structured interview, guided by a questionnaire, and the data were organized in the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 17.0 for Windows, presented in the form of tables and analyzed by means of descriptive statistics. This study followed the guidelines presented in Resolution No. 466 of December 12, 2012 of the National Health Council. The survey had 17 participants, with predominance of women, married, aged up to 30 years and family income above 5,000 , 00 reais. As for the professional aspects, the majority had up to 10 years of training and performance in the ESF, are effective in the public service, have two employment links and graduate lato sensu. Knowledge about preconception care for women with diabetes was considered appropriate, although some nonconformities were detected. With regard to the actions reported, they were mostly individual, with emphasis on educational actions. It is concluded, therefore, that the preconceptional care identified can be qualified through specific training on the subject.

Repercussions for self-care of health professionals with diabetes mellitus
This study aims to understand the self-care practices of health professionals with diabetes mellitus who experience long work shifts. This is a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, carried out in the city of Iguatu, Ceará, in three health services. It only included health professionals diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and who worked on duty, totaling a sample of three participants. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using the content analysis technique, aided by the Iramuteq textual corpus analysis software. As for the ethical aspects, all steps were guided by resolution n° 466/2012 of the National Health Council. A profile of female participants was evidenced; single and with a child; with an average age of 39.6 years; brown race; complete high school; low monthly family income; nursing techniques; with only one employment relationship; working in more than four day and/or night shifts per week, 12 continuous hours. The word cloud revealed a negative view of the object of study and content analysis enabled the formation of four categories: Perception about the disease and self-care; Description of self-care practices; Difficulties in self-care related to work and Facilities in self-care related to work. Despite recognizing the importance of self-care, the participants face some work-related difficulties for its effectiveness, especially in relation to food and physical exercise, valuing drug treatment despite these aspects. Nevertheless, some facilities for self-care related to work were pointed out, such as the good relationship between professionals and the availability of equipment and supplies. It is concluded that working in long shifts positively and negatively influenced the self-care of the participants, pointing to the need for strategies that contribute to the realization of this practice in the work environment.
