The present work avaliates nurses’ performances in the prenatal assistance, in the health of a very smol of Ceará State (Baturité). Data were collected, in 1999, in the June (04 municipal districts) and 2000, in February (04 municipal districts). The sample was constituted of eight nurses (01 from each municipal district) and twenty-four consultations were observed. We used the participant observation, as research method. The result demonstrated a good nursing performance; Is mode us recognize those professionals’ great contribution to the binomial mother/child health. However, it was verified an absence of the nursing systematic assistance. 

Este artigo aborda o sentimento inveja, seus conceitos, origens e características, bem como sua presença nas relações de trabalho no cotidiano das organizações e da enfermagem. Por meio de um estudo de opinião com profissionais de enfermagem de uma instituição hospitalar, reconhece-se sua presença, as características dos invejados e invejosos e suas implicações nas relações de trabalho. Abre-se a discussão sobre a importância do tema e os vazios de conhecimento sobre o mesmo. 

This article is about the envy feeling, its concepts, origin and characteristics, as well as its presence in the work relationship of nursing organizations. An opinion poll states that hospital instituitions with nursing professionals, the characteristics of envied and envious and implications on work relationship. To start the discussion about the importance of the topec and about the unknowledge of itself. 

Objetivou-se identificar o conhecimento produzido e publicado na enfermagem brasileira sobre Hipertensão arterial e Diabetes mellitus de 1995 – 1999. A pesquisa desenvolveu-se com artigos de cinco periódicos nacionais, submetidos à leitura exploratória, seletiva e analítica. Essa produção teve como autores, prioritariamente, docentes e alunos de pós-graduação. As tendências teórico-metodológicas identificadas foram: na hipertensão arterial, estudos clínicos e conceituais, com adultos ou profissionais da saúde, sobre técnica de verificação da pressão arterial, sem utilização de teorias de enfermagem. No diabetes mellitus, predominaram estudos clínicos, com as temáticas qualidade de vida e modelos teóricos, tendo clientela adulta e sem utilizar teorias. Conclui-se que existe muita necessidade de se pesquisar em enfermagem nessas áreas, especialmente com outras clientelas. Tais publicações, porém, poderão estar em outros periódicos. 

It was objectified to identify the knowledge produced and published in the Brazilian nursing on arterial Hypertension and diabetes mellitus of 1995-1999. The research was developed with articles of five national newspapers, submitted to the exploratory, selective and analytic reading. That production had as authors, in a order, educational and masters degree students. The identified theoretical-methodological tendencies were: in the arterial hypertension, clinical studies and you consider, with adults or professionals of health, the technique of verification of the arterial pressure, without use of nursing theories. In diabetes mellitus, prevailed clinical studies, with the thematic life quality and theoretical models, tends adult clientele and without using theories. It is ended that exists need of researching in nursing in those areas, especially with other clienteles. 

Este estudo teve o objetivo de averiguar como se evidencia os aspectos éticos em pesquisas envolvendo seres humanos. Foi desenvolvido a partir da análise de 69 artigos científicos de enfermagem, envolvendo seres humanos, publicados pela Revista Brasileira de Enfermagem – REBEn, no período de 1994 a 1998. Os dados coletados evidenciam que ficaram ausentes nos relatórios de pesquisa as referências sobre: o consentimento livre e esclarecido (98,6%); a proteção a grupos vulneráveis (58%); a beneficência (40,6%); a não maleficência (60,9%); e a justiça e equidade (94,2% e 98,6%, respectivamente). Concluímos que, ao analisar os relatórios de pesquisa, pode-se inferir um amplo espectro de situações, que podem ir desde o desconhecimento da Resolução que trata das diretrizes para a realização de pesquisas com seres humanos, perpassam por uma sub-valorização deste enfoque pela comunidade científica e apontam para uma evidência extrema da ausência de tais princípios. Diante desta realidade, sugere-se a todos os seguimentos envolvidos na produção e publicação das pesquisas de enfermagem, a observância e a exigência do respeito às referidas dimensões éticas, que levarão a adoção de novas atitudes frente ao cuidado, permeadas por compromisso, equidade e respeito. 

This study had the objective of discovering as it is evidenced the ethical aspects in researches involving human beings. It was developed starting from the analysis of 69 scientific articles of nursing, involving human being, had published by the Brazilian Magazine of Nursing – REBEn, during the period from 1994 to 1998. The data evidence that were absent in the research reports the references on: the free and illustrious consent (98,6%); the protection to vulnerable groups (58%); the charity 40,6%); the non harmfulness (60,9%); and the justice and justness (94,2% and 98,6%, respectively). In conclusion, the analyze the research reports allows to infer a wide spectrum of situations, that can show the ignorance of the Resolution that treats of the guidelines for the accomplishment of researches with human beings, a sub-valorization of this focus for the scientific community, until an extreme evidence of the absence of such beginnings. Due to this reality, they suggest that the all the people involved in the production and publication of the nursing researches, the observance and the demand of the respect to referred them ethical dimensions, that will take the adoption of new attitudes front to the care, permeated by commitment, justness and respect. 

Artigo fundamentado na análise de discurso, segundo Orlandi (2001), objetivando analisar as formações discursivas acerca da integração social das Pessoas com Deficiência Física-PDFs, ao longo do período 1981 - 2001. O dispositivo analítico constituiu-se do corpus da análise, composto por textos alusivos à integração das PDFs, de questões norteadoras da análise e do pensamento de autores dos vários campos do saber, que deram sustentação à análise. O processo analítico trouxe à tona as formações discursivas do Estado, da Equipe de Reabilitação, sociedade, família e PDFs acerca da integração social, elucidando os silêncios e esquecimentos das pessoas com deficiência. 

This is na article based on a speech analysis, in accordance with Orlandi (2001), order to analyze discursive formations concerning social integration of Handicapped People – HP, from 1981 through 2001. The analytical device was constituted by the corpus of the analysis, composed of texts on the integration of the HP, of guiding questions on the analyses and of the thought of authors from several fields that supported the analysis. The analytical process exposed discursive formations of the State, of the Rehabilitation Team, of society, family and HP concerning social integration, clearing questions opeople. 

The experience in being close to the women providing comfort through massages for the whole labor, took us to accomplish this study aiming at to demonstrate the therapeutic value of the massage, in the sense of promoting relaxation, comfort and relief of the pains during the labor. This study bases on a report of experience lived at a Maternity in Fortaleza-Ce. They announced fifteen parturientes in the period agust/setember of 2001. Utilizamos direct observation and interview. We concluded that the therapeutic touch is efficient, it calms, it relaxes, it induces to the change of the woman’s behavior, it reduces the analgesia need, besides constituting in a connection link between the nurse and the woman baby. 

Estudo crítico-analítico de caráter exploratório desenvolvido com alunos da Disciplina Enfermagem no Processo de Cuidar 1, da Universidade Federal do Ceará, relacionado às atividades práticas junto ao recém-nascido no Alojamento Conjunto (AC). Objetivou-se identificar o nível de satisfação dos alunos no ensino-aprendizagem; dificuldades relacionadas ao campo de prática. As atividades aconteceram no AC de uma Maternidade em Fortaleza-CE, de abril a junho/2001. Utilizou-se observação participante; questionário semi-estruturado, participando 24 alunos. Os dados analisados culminaram nas temáticas: nível de satisfação sobre teoria e prática; dificuldades relacionadas à Disciplina no campo de prática. Concluiu-se que o campo é adequado permitindo boa interação professora-aluno-enfermeira. Identificou-se inadequação do número de professores e número de alunos produzindo lacunas no ensino-aprendizagem. 

This is an exploratory and critical analysis study, conducted with 24 under graduated nursing students of the nursing care process I discipline from the Federal University of Ceará. It focused on the learning activity towards the newborn child in the child-mother nursery. It aims to identify the level of satisfaction of the students from the learning and teaching experience and the difficulties faced. The activities took place in a child-mother nursery of a maternity hospital in Fortaleza-Ceará, between april and june of 2001. Data was collected by participant observation and semi-structured questionnaire. The analysed data produced the following themes: level of satisfaction of theory and practice; difficulties regarding the pratical learning experience. It conducted that there is good interaction among nurse lecturer, student and assistant nurse, as well as an adequate fieldwork. However, it was mentioned unimpaires relation between nurse lecturer and students, which caused gaps in the learning and teaching process. 

Objetivamos analisar a disciplina Bases Teóricas e Metodológicas da Enfermagem, observar e descrever o processo de ensino-aprendizagem, e identificar facilidades e dificuldades. Estudo descritivo, realizado com 37 alunos matriculados na disciplina, através de questionário e observação. A maioria dos alunos considerou a estratégia de ensino adequada. O relacionamento professor-aluno/aluno-professor foi baseado na comunicação efetiva entre educador e educando, contribuindo para o processo ensino-aprendizagem, apesar de algumas dificuldades percebidas pelos alunos. A disciplina utiliza um processo de ensino-aprendizagem baseado na construção de um saber crítico e transformador, evidenciando estratégias de ensino bastante interativas, com ênfase na relação horizontal. 

We aimed at to analyze the discipline Theoretical and Methodological Bases of nursing, to observe and to describe the teaching-learning process, and to identify means and difficulties. I study descriptive, accomplished with 37 enrolled students in the discipline, through questionnaire and observation. Most of the students considered the teaching strategy adapted. The relationship teacher-student / student-teacher was based on the communication it executes between educator and student, contributing to the process teaching-learning, in spite of some difficulties noticed by the students. The discipline uses a teaching-learning process based on the construction of a critical knowledge and transformer, evidencing quite interactive teaching strategies, with emphasis in the horizontal relationship. 

Relato de experiência de ensino-aprendizagem sobre o toque terapêutico, com o objetivo de planejar, ministrar e avaliar aula em parturiente durante o pré-parto e parto. Foram realizadas dinâmicas envolvendo o grupo de alunos experienciando o toque e discutindo a importância, a técnica, o envolvimento interpessoal. A avaliação acerca de conhecimentos foi obtida pela observação e pelos depoimentos contidos no instrumento de avaliação da aula. Os dados foram organizados em categorias e evidenciaram que a aprendizagem é recíproca, interativa e facilita a apreensão de conhecimentos. Observamos que o uso de metodologia participativa satisfaz o docente e o discente e produz uma aprendizagem significativa. 

This is a report of learning and teaching experience of therapeutic touch for women before before and during labour. A class was planned, taught and evaluated in order to get students involved in this experience, which they discussed the importance, the technique and the inter personal relationship. The findings were obtained through observations and students’ accounts. The results were organized in categories and showed that the learning experience is rich for both students and teachers. it also showed to be interactive and helpful to the student’s knowledge. Finally we found that the use of participatory method is important to students and teachers, and contributes to a relevant learning. 

A enfermeira-doutora Maria Grasiela Teixeira Barroso é pessoa de notável valor na Enfermagem. É nosso objetivo apresentá-la como um marco na história do Curso de Enfermagem - FFOE - UFC, nos seus 25 anos. Utilizamos como referência o memorial da prof.a Grasiela, o documentário do curso, depoimentos de colegas e familiares. Em sua carreira profissional, assumiu cargos importantes e conquistou títulos, dentre eles o de Professor Emérito. Considerando a professora Grasiela uma profissional incansável em sua brilhante atuação nos cursos de graduação e pós-graduação, reconhecemos de justiça a homenagem que lhe é prestada. 

The doctor in nursing Maria Grasiela Teixeira Barroso is considered a very notable value person to the Nursing. Being our objective to present her as a mark to the history of FFOE – UFC’s Nursing Course, in its 25 years. We used as reference Grasiela’s memorial, documents of the course and friends’ and family depositions. In her professional career, she assumed important post and conquered titles, among them the one of honor merit Teacher. Considering Professor Grasiela a tireless professional in her brilliant performance in the graduation and pos-graduation degrees’ courses, it to recognize the justice of the homage that is rendered to her. 

A hanseníase é uma doença infecto contagiosa, que continua sendo um problema de saúde pública no cenário nacional, ocasionando alterações não só na vida pública, mas também na esfera familiar. A instabilidade emocional do paciente desencadeia um estado de crise, provocando tensões e, consequentemente, modificações psicológicas e sociais, resultando em desestabilização emocional no relacionamento familiar e social. Este estudo foi realizado com o objetivo de ressaltar a importância da ação educativa do enfermeiro em saúde mental para familiares de paciente com hanseníase. Trata-se de um estudo bibliográfico consubstanciado na literatura pertinente a temática em destaque. Como resultado pode-se afirmar que o enfermeiro deve buscar o seu papel com base na pratica criativa, solidária, através da educação em saúde, pois, ser enfermeira em saúde mental é dialogar com vários saberes, enfim é experimentar novas formas de atenção para que as pessoas vivam com menos sofrimento. 

Hanseniase is a contagious infect illness, that continues being a problem of health published in the national scene, causing causes alterations in the life only publishes, but also in the familiar sphere. The emotional instability of the patient unchains a crisis state, provoking psychological and social tensions and, consequently, modifications, resulting in emotional run down in the familiar and social relationship. This study it was carried through with the objective to stand out the importance of the educative action of the nurse in mental health for familiar of patient with hanseniase. One is about a bibliographical study consubstantiate in pertinent literature the thematic one in prominence. As result can be affirmed that the nurse must search its paper on the basis of practices it creative, solidary, through the education in health, therefore, to be nurse in mental health he is to dialogue with several to know, at last is to try new forms of attention so that the people live with little suffering.
