Classificação automática de cardiopatias baseada em eletrocardiograma

This work is dedicated to study of the recognition and classification of cardiac disease, diagnosised through the electrocardiogram ECG. This examination is normally used in heart medical center, emergency, intensive therapy, and with complement diagnosis in heart disease as: acute myocardium infarction, bundle block branches, hypertrophy and others. The software was developed for support to the model, with focus on extraction of ECG signal characteristics, and an artificial neural network for recognition of diseases. For extraction these characteristics, we have used a auto-regressive model, AR, with the algorithm least mean square LMS, to minimize the minimum error. The neural network, with architecture multilayer perceptron and back propagation algorithm of training, was chosen for the recognition of the standards. The method was showed efficient.

Desenvolvimento de sistema de geolocalização em realidade aumentada para multiplataforma móvel

Augmented Reality became a popular topic within the field of academic research, especially by providing the user with an overlapping or compounding view of virtual objects and the real world. The use of Augmented Reality in mobile devices is currently growing as a field of research. However, one of the greatest difficulties about developing such application category is the fact that there are a great variety of platforms, programming languages, standards and proprietary SDKs. This work aims to develop a multi-platform outdoor navigation application using Augmented Reality based on geolocation. The application is then developed using PhoneGap, a framework platform for creating mobile applications that uses HTML5 and JavaScript.

Desenvolvimento de uma plataforma de controle configurável e de código portável para transmissores digitais em processos industriais

This work proposes a platform with open and free code to standardize the configuration and programming of industrial devices. The platform is bounded to a virtual machine designed to embedded systems with low computational costs. The platform will allow manufactures and researchers build standard configuration and programming interfaces, with the advantage of implementing customized algorithms that may contribute to optimize productive processes reducing energy and supplies. The costs to implement open standards by each manufacture will be minimized. The manufactures could concentrate efforts on specific device behavior instead of standard, offering lower cost and more flexible hardware devices. Finally, technical training for maintenance and expansion of industrial processes will be easier.

Avaliação da qualidade da energia elétrica em um campus universitário

The development and expansion of the federal universities throughout the past years, due to the plans of expansion implemented with the funds from REUNI (The program of supporting for the restructuring and expansion of Federal Universities), suggest the necessity of improving the electrical installations of these institutions in order to meet the new power demand in a planned and efficient way. The subject which is related to the growing costs of electrical energy and investments in electrical installations in teaching institutions, faced with its economic relevance, represents, nowadays, an extremely relevant theme. Therefore, currently, it is possible to observe efforts directed to enhance the procedure of quality and efficiency diagnosis of the electrical energy of a campus. Embedded in this context is this dissertation, which is linked to a measurement plan, analysis methods and data comparison with reference values and the use of tools for modeling and computer simulation. This way, the present work presents four different kinds of contribution to the current state-of-the-art. The first contribution is associated to the obtention of typical charge curves and tax modal analysis chart which seem to be most adequate for a university campus. The second contribution is associated to the methodology of data analysis and the installation diagnosis in terms of power quality. As a third contribution of this work, we have the modeling of the electrical system of installation with the use of the ATP (Alternative Transients Program) computer tool. As a final contribution one can highlight the computer modeling and simulation to identify the harmonic contributions both to the local power utility and to the campus installations, together with the point of common coupling. The obtained results show that the methodology in use is very useful in the daily management of the processes associated with the use of the electrical energy in the installations of a university.

OOL oscilógrafo on line

This paper presents an information system developed to perform oscilography tasks and on line data acquisition in an electric energy distribution network. This analisys tool can be largely used in the analysis of failures, routine measurement, oscilography recording generated by perturbation in the electric system and to check the quality of service in the electric energy distribution network, such as harmonic and ANEEL 505 resolution. The OOL (On Line Oscilograh System) was designed to be a digital perturbation registerer, following the rigorous and up to date recommendations from ANEEL about this theme. The OOL system also aggregates a high precision alectric greatness measurer and an advanced analyser of quality of energy. The bundle of software and hardware used in the development of this system offers a low cost solution to be installed in less profitable networks. Being designed to electric energy companies and also to industries that have their onw substations (from 13,8kV until 138kV). An osilograph system in such installations represents a meaningful gain for the company whenever the analysis of failures occurs in the electric system. Having the oscilography, the analysis engineer can, in a short time, verify in details the turbulence occurred at the very moment of the failure. With this propose to an on line osclilograph system, the company counts on a system capable of making a complete analysis of the electric network being monitored, allowing a decision to be made in a faster way and crossing off the problem definitely. The OOL system can also be used in a preventive way, allowing small failures to be detected, avoiding greater problems that could couse greater damage to the system.

Estudo da técnica de controle direto de conjugado - DTC tradicional, aplicada ao MIT

This paper presents a study of the Direct Torque Control (DTC) based in the traditional technique. It used Switching Tables to drive the electronic converter that feeds the induction motor. Speed control is achieved. Two switching strategies are studied, one that only allows operation in two quadrants and other for four quadrants. Simulation of a complete system is implemented and the results are shown and discussed. Some preliminary experimental results are included in the work. The practical implementation of the DTC is accomplished in a digital signal processor (DSP).

Avaliação do desempenho do restaurador dinâmico de tensão frente aos afundamentos e elevações de tensão

Nowadays, national and international electric utilities and end users are becoming more and more concerned about the quality of the electrical power. Such concerns are related with the occurrence of electric disturbances capable to effect the operation and the life expectance of equipments and devices, as well as affecting and interrupting varied industrial processes. Of the above mentioned phenomena, short-duration voltage variations deserve special attention once they are the disturbances that cause the largest damages to the consumers. As a consequence of that, there are several devices available that minimize the effects of such disturbances on the equipments. Among those devices, the Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) represents a modern proposal for the solution of the problems caused by voltage sags and swells. In this work, three different system topologies for DVRs are analysed throughout computer implementations. Comparisons are made between these topologies, with focus on both the general performance and on the electrical power quality of the entire system.

Análise e paralelização de algoritmos aplicados à identificação de sistemas dinâmicos não-lineares com modelo NCARMA Fracionário

The main goal of this paper is to contribute to the performance of a Differential evolutionary algorithm (DE) used in the identification of nonlinear dynamical systems using the NCARMA Fractional model, by comparing algorithms, parallel or sequential, used by the same. The evaluation is made through an application developed specifically for this work with Qt environment using C ++ 14 language and parallel programming techniques. To achieve this goal we selected the main algorithms that are used by software developed in order to compare different methodologies and techniques used to solve them. Different types of algorithms have been tested in order to determine which method does best in each situation, as well as different testing methods, different libraries and sequential versus parallel computation. Finally, the final application has been validated and tested as to their ability to model pre-defined systems considering the total time spent.

Comunicação M2M aplicada em plantas didáticas de controle de processos

This paper presents the application of Machine-to-Machine communication into a system of process control. The project was implemented in a system that consists of didactic plants of temperature, flow and level control. These plants were isolated, communicating via RS-232 with a workstation each, dedicated to monitoring and control. A communication interface between the RS-232 standard and the ZigBee wireless standard was developed, in order to add mobility and expansibility to the system. With wireless communication, it was possible to relocate the workstation and to exchange information among plants. Using star topology, the system was networked, with a single workstation monitoring and controlling all plants. Com-munications occurred automatically through a software, which functions includes network configuration, sending and receiving data, variable storage and logic control. Therefore, con-trol and monitoring of all plants at a single point was made possible.
