The implantation of the Presbyterianism in Brazil began in 1859 with the arrival of the Presbyterian missionary Rev. Ashbel Green Simonton. The Presbyterianism, in its long implantation process, development and structuring, was marked by successes and internal schisms. In 1903 the first schism appears in the Brazilian national environment, giving rise to the Independent Presbyterian Church of Brazil. Some years later, more precisely thirty seven years, a theological debate arouse inside that church, which represented tendencies that already existed. The essential issue that starts the rupture is The Doctrine of the Endless Punishment." Besides the above essential issue, this paper will present other aspects that indirectly contributed for the organization of the Igreja Cristã de São Paulo; at the same time, it intends to demonstrate the contribution of ICSP members for the Education and Teaching at São Paulo State University.

This dissertation is a case study of a Brazilian industry operating in Portugal. It is about presenting a method of how to implement ERP software - "Enterprise Resource Planning" - in an SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) company, its difficulties, successes and suggestions for improvement. For this work, the documentary research and interviews with the professionals involved in the change process were used. In the development of this work, a framework for ERP software implementation was used, associated to a research method called "Design Science Research" - (DSR), which allowed a deepening of issues related to design and project planning, execution, change, management of culture change and perceived reflexes after ERP implementation. As a result of this intervention, it was identified that the planning and design of the project were very relevant to the success of this intervention, especially the effective communication part, which significantly reduced the resistance to the change process. Emphasis is given to the perception of those involved regarding psychic distance. It was identified that care related to project planning and design, especially effective communication, substantially reduced the perception of psychological distance between Brazilian and Portuguese professionals. At the end, we present the results obtained by this intervention and the impacts perceived by the different areas involved.

Williams syndrome (WS) is a rare genetic disorder caused by multiple gene microdeletion of region 11.23 of the long arm of chromosome 7 (region 7q11.23). Scientific evidences indicate that the evaluation of adaptive functioning (AF) is fundamental in WS to identify support levels and development of potentialities, considering the intellectual disability (ID) associated with the syndrome. The main objective of the study was to explore how the AF socialization indicator is related to verbal and performance cognitive functioning regardless of intellectual impairment, as well as emotional and behavioral problems (EBP). The study adopted a cross-sectional design with a sample composed by 78 individuals with WS between 6 and 41 years matched with 74 healthy people of control group (CG), and 78 caregiver’s WS group. The data collection instruments were the Behavior Inventory for Children and Adolescents between 6 and 18 years old (CBCL/6-18), the Behavior Inventory for Adults between 18 and 59 years old (ABCL), the Self-Assessment Inventory for between 18 and 59 years old (ASR) and the abbreviated Wechsler Intelligence Scale (WASI). Data analysis procedures were the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality testing, Mann-Whitney U test for comparison of means, Cohen test verified the effect size and Spearman correlation analysis to test the degree of association between the variables. The main results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences between the group with WS and the CG in the socialization scale. In the WS group of 6 to 18 years old it was observed that the higher the socialization score, the better their performance in tasks that evaluate indicators of performance IQ. In the socialization scale there were no statistically significant differences between the group with WS and the CG, however it was found that adults show higher levels of socialization, according to the caregivers' report, when compared to children and adolescents, with statistically significant differences. As a recommendation for future studies, in addition to multiple informant methodologies for assessment purposes, caregivers need to receive training to discriminate stimulation needs of children with associated WS and ID, as well as interventions in natural environments that can be developed by them in social and family contexts

In this work, we inserted two Arrayed Waveguide Gratings (AWGs), in an Erbium doped fiber ring cavity laser, where a single gain medium at room temperature can emit laser in multiples wavelengths, simultaneous and individualy controlled. The setup allowed us to check different functions in the ring cavity. Here we show emission in CW regime, Passive Mode-Locking, using Carbon Nanotubes as saturable absorbers and finally Active mode-locking at 7GHz, simultaneously.

The present work, named Fashion Culture: Clothes and History, a sensitive way. A creative process, an aesthetic production?, investigates an educational practice and possible asymmetries and impermanences of the contemporary subject, the Fashion graduation student, by means of fashion history knowledge production and using a pedagogic activity named memory book , as a dispositive (Foucault), a poetic experience of thought (Heidegger) and also the artistic fruition. This research discusses Yohji Yamamoto s work as well as his identity as a fashion designer in relation to the visual arts. The phenomenological-existential method is also used, as well as historical narratives, intersubjective contact and observation. It reflects the individual creator/author and reader/discoverer towards modernity and contemporaneity. I also make use of micro-history as an analyses tool considering its analytical and detailed character by establishing a wider view over the cultural history. And, with the intent of interdisciplinarity, this research introduces unfinished creation and movements from the students and their singularities, histories, and dressing inheritances.

The present work aims to study the impact of the implementation of the Rio-Santos highway in São Sebastião - SP in terms of changes occurring in the occupation of the coastal districts, affecting and displacing local communities. As a research topic, we propose the study of the impacts of the urbanization triggered by the opening of the road Rio-Santos in the occupation of the coastal areas of São Paulo. To this end, we propose the approach chosen in three communities along the road, with different characteristics, which show larger or smaller impacts in terms of the displacement and the other consequences of it s farm estate, outlining a comparative analysis between the earlier, contemporary and later periods to road construction: the neighborhood of San Francisco and beaches of Toque-Toque Pequeno and Juquehy.
