Applying psychometric tests in new cultural contexts implies validating them to check the reliability of the results in that context. The objective of this research work was to determine the validity and reliability of the psychometric properties of the Maslach Burnout Inventory, for which IBM SPSS version 25 was obtained, with which the data was processed, which consists of 417 people obtained through of one found online. A descriptive analysis of the sample, Cronbach's alpha results, and factor analysis were performed to verify the validity and reliability of the test in the Ecuadorian context. As a result of this study, an internal consistency was obtained in the variables that were measured, so the Maslach Burnout Inventory is valid and reliable for its application in the Ecuadorian context.

The research arises after the identification of the lack of knowledge of the impact generated by the use of new information technologies and the Internet in high school students of the Abdón Calderón Educational Unit in the Milagro canton, province of Guayas, in Ecuador. Thus, the objective is to analyze the use of information and communication technologies in the teaching process as a strategy for the development of virtual classes. For this, a qualitative-quantitative inquiry was proposed as a research methodology. The quantitative analysis was carried out through surveys addressed to 150 students, 15 educators and 5 managers, while the qualitative analysis was based on the observation of the events, that is, how the educators taught the virtual classes. The results showed that students have low knowledge of ICTs in favor of their education but recognize its importance in the training process, while students assume they do not adequately know the platforms to teach virtual classes and mention the lack of training they receive in this regard. It was also observed that teachers do not motivate students and are not interested in achieving an understanding of the content through the use of digital tools.

Through this research, the companies in particular those of the area to which the Jaén Gas Sac company belongs, that agree to implement internal control, will be able to know its importance, the process that it entails and the results on the subject, since currently, as they do not have adequate internal control in credit and collections processes, they cannot carry out an efficient control of these processes. The objective of this research is to determine how internal control influences the management of accounts receivable in the company Jaén Gas SAC of the city of Jaén - Cajamarca 2021. Being of an applied type with non-experimental design, with a sample of 30 employees of the entity, to whom the survey was applied to obtain data on Internal Control and Accounts Receivable Management, obtaining as a result a positive Spearman Rho correlation of 0.458 and a significance level of 0.011, concluding that there is influence direct and significant of the Internal Control in the Management of accounts receivable of the company Jaén Gas SAC, being thus that when a good and adequate internal control is not carried out, the work areas do not fulfill their tasks, there is no communication and they do not have documents that support the management of accounts receivable.

The investigation aimed to determine the influence of an internal control system on profitability. applied research and non-experimental design. The population consisted of 30 employees, to whom a questionnaire was applied based on a scale of five levels of measurement.The results show that there are significant differences (p <0.05) in the levels of internal control on the influence on profitability, where the level of deficient internal control predominates in a higher percentage (70.0%) and with a low percentage the level of Control internal efficient (30.0%) results that are statistically significant, with a significance level of 0.028, which indicates a 95.0% reliability, according to the application of the Chi-Square statistical test for goodness of fit, concluding that the Control System Internal control has a positive influence on profitability, due to the fact that a decrease in profitability was found compared to the previous year, due to deficient internal Control, for this an Internal Control System was proposed that will improve the profitability of the company Mi Negocio EIRL.

The process of disclosure of homosexuality is an event that unbalances family dynamics and produces changes in the individual that can affect their well-being and mental health when rejection, violence or any type of aggression occurs. In view of this, it is proposed as a research objective to determine the influence of the family environment in the development of the personality of voluntarily declared homosexuals, for which there is the participation of 80 students from the State University of Milagro, of the Faculty of Social Sciences. , Business Education and Law during the year 2019, both men and women, homosexuals and heterosexuals. Thus, the research design was characterized by being descriptive with a quantitative approach, in such a way that a 10-question survey was applied digitally. The results showed that, from their perception, the family influences the development of the personality and that the vast majority of homosexuals who declare themselves voluntarily face this situation in a context marked by rejection and discrimination due to the influence of the social construct and traditionalist thoughts.

Este texto dispõe-se a levantar a questão ontológica sobre o fenômeno da comunicação, indagando sobre os fundamentos teóricos de seu discurso. Realiza-se primeiramente a crítica do patamar informacional em que se apóiam os já clássicos estudos de mídia ou as pesquisas sociológicas sobre o campo dos meios de comunicação. Depois, aborda-se a comunicação como uma hermenêutica das novas formas de existência sob a midiatização. E, finalmente, propõe-se a autonomia cognitiva do discurso comunicacional, com um modelo tripartite.

Las experiencias relatadas en este artículo se plantea el problema de la visibilidad política y la narrativa que surge de un conflicto y vínculo entre la ciudadanía y la civilidad entre los ciudadanos y la experiencia experimento urbano. Lo que me han informado de abajo, de manera sucinta y analíticamente, son algunas de las experiencias y experimentos de Colombia a acerca de la nueva visibilidad de Bogotá y las peculiaridades de los jóvenes en Medellín.

Les industries culturelles et médiatiques sont aujourd’hui abordées sous différents angles par un grand nombre de courants d’analyse économiques et sociologiques. Du point de vue de l’économie politique de la communication, et plus particulièrement à partir de ce que l’on a pu désigner en Europe comme la théorie des industries culturelles, cet article, résolument synthétique, vise à réévaluer les approches à l’ère de la globalisation et de l’essor des techniques de l’information et de la communication. Dans cette perspective, il précise ce que sont les originalités persistantes ou maintenues de cette catégorie particulière d’industries, appelées désormais à devenir les industries de contenu des nouveaux médias. Il montre en quoi les modèles fondamentaux que sont les modèles de flot et éditorial, demeurent pertinents pour appréhender les modalités de valorisation des contenus, même s’ils se déclinent selon des modalités nouvelles. Il traite de la diversification de la publicité et s’interroge sur la signification de ce que l’on désigne, souvent confusément, sous le terme de convergence. Lévinas presents in contemporary criticism the returning of the ethic issue in social sciences. In this way, he criticizes the structuralist approach whose origins are provided by Hegelian philosophy, which conveys all phenomena in unconscious and impersonal structures. Lévinas brings back the dialogue where the other we talk to is an utter alterity. That is, an otherness that can never be overcome and that places in me what yet was not in me.

The profusion of media is so intense, its participation in social and individual life is so omnipresent that the media come to produce the effect of a fetish. The presence of the media is so prominent that everything else seems to fade away. When attention is fixed exclusively on media, the first thing to be missed, as a sort of blind spot of the retina, are the sign processes which, by the way, are produced and transmitted by the media. Without underestimating the media saturation and its multiple consequences in contemporary societies, the aim of this paper is to bring sign processes to the front of the scene, take them from the back stage, from negligence and almost forgetfulness to which they have been relegated.

Este artigo trata do conceito de italianidade, tanto do ponto de vista da fenomenologia como do ponto de vista da teoria. Procurarei tratar desse assunto de modo a demonstrar seu potencial heurístico ou educativo para: (a) pesquisar a comunicação intercultural e internacional; (b) construir políticas educativas que tendam para a formação de um novo cosmopolitismo responsável e inclusivo; e (c) desenvolver uma consideração mais ampla e mais prolongada dos temas da guerra e da paz.

Este texto trata da mobilidade social e suas transformações no espaço urbano, provocado pelo desenvolvimento dos meios de comunicação decorrentes da própria dinâmica da industrialização e da urbanização da era moderna. As mídias reconfiguram os espaços urbanos, os subúrbios, os centros, dinamizam o transporte público e tornam mais complexo esse organismo-rede que são as cidades.

No presente artigo são contextualizados e comparados alguns dados que dizem a respeito aos autores mais freqüentemente citados nas teses dos programas de pósgraduação em comunicação no México e no Brasil, e são propostas, para levar em discussão, algumas hipóteses sobre os processos e fatores de estruturação do campo acadêmico da comunicação, especialmente no que se refere à definição de sub-campos especializados ou à re-afirmação de traços de fragmentação, desde a prática de pesquisa acadêmica nas instituições mexicanas e brasileiras.

Este texto é um ensaio. Mais exatamente uma crônica intelectual cujo objetivo é meramente provocativo. Trata-se, ao mesmo tempo, de uma homenagem a Jean Baudrillard e ao “pensamento francês” e de uma crítica ao positivismo reinante em certos domínios da pesquisa em comunicação no Brasil, assim como de uma defesa da livre argumentação em relação aos procedimentos de legitimação por autores.

Este texto pretende reflectir sobre pós colonialismo a partir da visão de mundo portuguesa e das representações e imagens construídas pelos media nas últimas décadas. Tendo em conta os contextos da globalização e o quadro histórico da derrocada do império, discute-se a ideia de comunidade imaginada e as relações entre Nós e os Outros, ilustrada pelas relações entre Portugal e o Brasil. A exposição demarca alguns conceitos fundamentais, como identidade, identidade nacional, diferença e etnicidade, que permitem equacionar os fenómenos migratórios em Portugal e na Europa e as políticas de integração e reconhecimento.

Aquí se discute el concepto de innovación tecnológica en la educación, que ha sido asociado de manera consistente con la perspectiva de la "corriente progreso ", la creencia de sentido común que supone que cualquier tipo de progreso es restringido a la obsolescencia inmediata después de haber sido superado por un nuevo avance. Este efecto, que después de la investigación resultó ser falsa, oculta o minimiza los importantes avances sociales y culturales de gran valor educativo. Por lo tanto, se presenta una estrategia que nos coloque, educativa, en la cara de este tipo de innovación que consta de varios pasos en proceso de apropiación de la tecnología por los estudiantes.

O alvo primordial dos ensaios deste livro é a compreensão do modo como a informação se oferece ao mundo. Para isso, Flusser toma os códigos como matérias formatadoras da cultura imaterial e dos fenômenos como informação. O estatuto codificado do mundo se oferece assim sob forma de imagens eletrônicas em telas, dados armazenados em disco rígidos, rolos de filmes, hologramas, programas inapreensíveis e tão somente decodificáveis. O homem deste mundo não se ocupa das coisas, mas dos signos interpretados pelos códigos.

Camadas que certamente se imiscuem, criando nódulos, pontos de acumulação, que evidenciam o caráter histórico de todo paradigma cuja percepção de credibilidade é assegurada através de depoimentos que o autor colhe junto a inúmeros de seus protagonistas, permitindo-lhes o distanciamento crítico necessário para avaliar e rever suas posições, e, ao leitor, acompanhar as rupturas, as inflexões, os refluxos e as idiossincrasias dessa história.
