Within a macro project identification of religious plurality connected with the country's ethnic diversity, this research project analyzed the difficulties and peculiarities of the group of Armenian immigrants who settled in Brazil since 1920. In the midst of a new social and cultural reality haw these immigrants established the cooperative relationship in the new community. Religious identity is a critical factor to understanding the structural characteristics that led to the establishment and survival in the urban region of Sao Paulo. Our research focused on the Protestant side and how it uses the religious elements connected to form and maintain their ethnic identity recreated in Brazil.

This study deals with the transfer of the Watchtower Society s theology that of the Jehovah s Witnesses movement, to within the text of their official version, the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. It describes the historical and theological contexts of the five periods that preceded the system now in force, and its brings up the main beliefs and practices ever since it was founded in 1872, in the United States, claiming the status of the only true religion on Earth. This explains the movement s scorn for the Bible translations produced by the main branches of Christianity, which it considers to be false, and that is why it decided to produce its own version. This study analizes the movement s arguments in favour of producing a Bible translation, its origin, the academical qualification of its translators, and the insertion of its beliefs and pratices into the sacred text. This study checks the Bible texts in which the movement s concepts of God: the Divine Name, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit; of the hell of fire, of man s destiny, of Christ s Second Coming, and of the Cross of Christ developed during the movement s history, which were modified and transferred into the sacred text. The study concludes with a definition of the Jehovah s Witnesses religion as a human organization, with its own distinctive theological caracteristics, whose standard text is as distinctive as its theology, and which is used as a literary tool to give its doctrine a biblical mask.

The intensification of market demands for strategic and operational actions aimed at optimizing the use of the available resources gave rise to the Shared Services Center (CSC), increasing the competitive advantage in the value chain of companies and collaborating to reach the strategic objectives of the organization. In this model, the administrative processes are usually centralized and the strategic decisions of the corporation are executed in parallel, with a greater focus on the business. The present study analyzes the challenges and opportunities for accounting and finance professionals in a post-deployment CSC environment in a multinational value transport company in Brazil, where transactional activities previously performed on local liability have been integrated into CSC overseas. It presents a review of the literature on the creation of a CSC and the new role of accounting and finance professionals in Brazil in this new post-implementation environment of the CSC. In this way, a research was developed with the professionals who experienced the process of implementation of the CSC in order to know the new attributions of these departments and their contribution to add greater added value to the business through structured researches with the professionals that control the new CSC in the States United and in Brazil Face to Face semi-structured interviews with both the professionals responsible for the control of the finance and accounting departments in Brazil and the Operational departments in which they represent the internal clients of these departments. It was verified that in general the changes in the local activities were minimal, but an important additional time occurred for the development of new activities or improvement of the already existing activities, opening the field for potential improvements by means of the information present in this study and my professional experience where Through the Matrix of Improvement developed in this study could boost the value added to the business in the Accounting and Finance departments in Brazil.

This essay investigates the relevance of emotional manifestation in the course of female characters from two short stories by Clarice Lispector. Furthermore, it surveys the unfolding of experiences permeated by emotions in the way each character conceives her surrounding reality and how she deals with this new viewpoint. It concludes that emotion may be an unleashing factor not only of a process of alienation when not challenged, but also of emancipation when it is not repressed but accepted. It also states in regard to the relevance of anxiety in juxtaposition with all other feelings.

The evolution of the study about strategic decision process shows that there is an important gap to be exploited regarding on incorporating the step of decision implementation as a continuous phase in decision-making and establishing their relationships. By targeting this analysis to the decisions taken in contractual strategic alliances, the level of complexity increases further due to the uncertainty generated by the differences of interest between autonomous partners and also the impossibility of relational contracts anticipate potential coordination problems, affecting both the decision making as its implementation. This research aims to understand how the consensus in the decision-making process relates to the successful implementation of the decisions taken in the framework of alliances, considering the exercise of power by the partners and the consequent formation of internal and external coalitions to the parties involved. For this purpose, we used qualitative methodological approach and a study of a single case as the research tool, seeking greater depth in the study of the proposed problem. The survey was conducted with a company in the cosmetics sector, whose importance is explained by its growing participation in the generation of income in Brazil and also because it is a sector whose companies use contractual strategic alliances recurrently. The aim of the study was achieved with the presentation of propositions attempts whose contribution has generated implications, both conceptual as for the practice of business management. The research showed that the theory of decisions can benefit from the analysis of power and coalitions in the study of strategic decision-making. It was found that however great is the procedural rationality, the formation of internal and external coalitions can influence the capacity to reach a solution that is successfully implemented; that the incompleteness of relational contracts and the unbalancing of dependence between the parties of contractual alliances can generate opportunistic actions that prevent collaborative negotiation in the joint decision; and shared understanding about the usefulness of the decision taken and the reliability, due to the perception of competence and loyalty among the participants of the decision, appear to be essential to the success of adaptive decisions during implementation. On the other hand, the theory of consensus on strategic decision-making seems insufficient for application in the decisions taken in alliances, since the unbalancing in the level of dependency, lack of strategic coordination between the parties, the possibility of coalitions and the systems of internal influence, such as expertise and ideological systems that have proved as important antecedents of consensus, still are ignored by the existing theory. Considering the theory of power and coalitions, an important contribution was to identify the institutional system inside the external factors of influence, not cataloged by Mintzberg, which can influence via external "virtual" coalitions, in which sectorial institutions participate in coalitions implicitly by creating rules in the institutional environment and directly affecting the course of action of the strategic decision-making. Finally, beyond the conceptual implications, this research also contributes to elucidate the concerns that business managers should have in managing contractual strategic alliances and driving strategic decision-making.

Apresenta o estudo do instituto da Responsabilidade Civil, com análise do seu conceito no ordenamento jurídico pátrio, um breve estudo histórico do instituto alinhado à evolução da própria sociedade, suas espécies e seus pressupostos. Adiante, explica, de modo sucinto, as causas excludentes da Responsabilidade Civil, separadas em excludentes de ilicitude (legítima defesa, estado de necessidade e exercício regular de direito) e excludentes de nexo de causalidade (culpa ou fato exclusivo da vítima, culpa ou fato exclusivo de terceiro, caso fortuito ou força maior). Posteriormente, adentra ao tema macro desse trabalho e analisa os conceitos e espécies da Responsabilidade Civil por ato de terceiros. Concluída a explicação de cada espécie, passa a analisar a Responsabilidade Civil dos pais com relação aos filhos menores, tema principal desse trabalho. Para tanto, é necessário entender a relação jurídica estabelecida pelo nosso ordenamento jurídico que liga os filhos a seus pais e o poder familiar atribuído pelo Estado aos pais. Por fim, examina o ato infracional cometido pelo filho menor, sob a ótica do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente, as hipóteses de exclusão da responsabilidade dos pais e a vedação do direito de regresso nessa espécie de responsabilidade civil por ato de terceiro. Conclui-se, assim, que o Estado atribuiu aos pais um múnus publico com relação à proteção e bem-estar dos filhos menores. No entanto, diante dos deveres e atividades da sociedade moderna que são exercidos pelos pais para sustento da própria família, não há a possibilidade desses pais exercerem o dever de vigilância integralmente. Assim sendo, há divergências na doutrina se nesses casos a responsabilidade civil deve ser transferida para a instituição ou terceiro que esteja responsável pelo menor.

O trabalho busca debater a questão dos cortiços e da infância a partir da análise espacial qualitativa do Glicério. São abordadas questões que permeiam o surgimento e entendimento dos cortiços, que hoje se encontram como opções permanentes de moradia central, juntamente com a análise do bairro do Glicério, buscando entender suas relações com a cidade real construída. Associada ao objeto urbano, o processo de desenvolvimento da cidade afirma o caráter privado das edificações e das relações sociais, sendo possível observar uma perda afetiva do espaço público, e uma maior segregação entre classes por meio do controle do espaço e do medo. A temática da criança é incorporada ao longo do trabalho por meio de estudos relacionados ao espaço público e privado, que dizem respeito tanto à moradia quanto ao espaço destinado ao exercício da democracia, podendo servir de base a um desenvolvimento infantil de qualidade. A coletividade que permeia a questão da moradia retratada, é discutida neste trabalho, tornando-se parte integrante das relações comunitárias presentes no bairro, resultando em um fortalecimento das redes sociais existentes, ignoradas frente ao poder público. Ao final, são abordados temas relacionados à habitação e ocupação do solo, como uma tentativa de resposta às problemáticas aqui elencadas.

This research aimed to identify which factors are linked to the contribution of the Professional Master in the trajectory of its graduates and learn about those who influenced the course and the other representing the changes caused by the course after its completion. Based on the theory that promotes education as a decisive part in opportunities to increase the percentage of income level, increased employability, innovation capacity and skills development. From the perspective of human capital, we opted for the application of an electronic questionnaire along with four universities in Brazil that offer profissonal masters courses in controllership and accounting. The survey identified 140 questionnaires answered. After collecting data, they were analyzed with the technique of factor analysis, which allowed the identification and interpretation of the factors extracted from existing variables. Among other factors, were identified as relevant: Visibility and Professional Strengthening, Enhancement and Development in Teaching and Research, Employability and income increased through competitiveness. This research also makes a contribution, the data collection tool that can be improved and targeted for future research in topics related to this.

Democracy demands isonomic participation in the process of collective decision making. To this purpose it is necessary that the messages of mass media be plural, presenting multiple points of view and a sort of sources. The State must ensure that the citizens get access to multiple points of view and information, as well as the ideas of the main social actors be represented in the communicative environment - comprised by the media in which is the ensemble of communication of certain circle, as an analogy to natural environment . In practice, not every social group has the same access to the mass media. There is a distortion in the so-called free market ideas which is under the thumb of few senders, the major broadcast companies. This can be noted mainly in the scope of concessions of radio and television broadcast, which requires political support, in addition to technological structure, human, and financial resources, whose resources only the major broadcast groups have access to. The regulation of mass media, according to the Brazilian Constitution, must to pursue the democratization of mass media, the pluralism of its actors and to fight monopolies and oligopolies of communication. The Federal Constitution of 1988 envisaged, in the article 224, the creation of Social Communication Council (National), created by Law nº 8.389/91. Such rules aim to establish participation of civil society, in the context of making political decision regarding Social Communication likewise other constitutionally predicted councils, such as Health Council (article 77, Paragraph 3, of Federal Constitution), or the Advisory Board of the Fighting and Eradication Poverty Fund (article 79, sole paragraph of Federal Constitution and Supplementary Law 111 from 2001). This organism has a plural composition. It s composed by representatives of the main different media, technical members, and civil society representatives. Its constitutional function is to assist the National Congress in regulation of Communication. The Communication Social Council would be the mechanism to improve the pluralism of Social Communication in order to minimize the distortions caused by Communications Oligopoly and Monopoly. However, this Council faces juridical and practical issues. The Council was inoperative since the beginning of 2007, its activation happened just on August 2012. Moreover, it s limited to provide opinions that have no effect on decision made in the Social Communication scope. The opinions are considered as mere recommendation; most of the time it is not take in account by political organs. It is necessary to question the legal purposes of Legislative and Executive decisions taken with no consideration of Council position, in other hand the Council will never meet its Constitution role. This dissertation addresses these regulation issues of Social Communication by analyzing the legal power of decisions made by Social Communication Council.

This dissertation takes as object of reflection the religious enterprise of the Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus (IURD) known as Temple of Solomon Brazil. From a reading that articulates the sciences of religion and international relations, it is sought to determine to what extent this religious enterprise can be read as a model of churc/business. To this end, we focus on the origins of Pentecostalism in order to understand its complex relationship with the Brazilian religious field and the logic that transforms religious goods into commodities.
